@Arkytior @DaughterofAthena Given Name: Allison Surname: Chase Middle Name: Dorsett What is your official DWMA Nickname? "Ghost Girl," due to my...closeness with ghosts. Yearbook Photo: <img src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://orig10.deviantart.net/c120/f/2013/260/b/6/tomboy_by_kuraiaku-d6mnuvz.jpg&key=4a1dc849b317ac7238f5b07477d67edeb8bfcdd0b6f300583167933dfc0bf07a" class="ipsImage" alt="tomboy_by_kuraiaku-d6mnuvz.jpg" />Age: 16 Gender: Female Height: 5'8" Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Brown Are you an EAT or a NOT student? EAT. Are you a weapon or a meister? Meister If a weapon, what type of weapon are you? N/A If in the EAT class and a meister, what is your rank (We are only accepting 1-Star meisters)? 1-Star. How long have you been in attendance at the DWMA? *Note: If you are new, you cannot be EAT. 2 years. How do you fight? "I am a pragmatist, first and foremost. I will aim for the eyes, the genitals, the kneecaps. Anywhere that will cause my enemy to give in sooner, unless it's just a friendly fight. I will throw dirt in your eyes if I need to. I don't really care about winning fairly. For me, it's all about the lives I save with each kill. I tend to aim to disable my opponent rather than go for the kill immediately, slowly stripping away all their advantages and capabilities before I make sure I've won. You can never be sure what an opponent has up their sleeve, and disabling an arm or a leg is a great way to nullify a lot of their hidden tricks. I will take full advantage of the environment in a fight, slamming someone into any hard surface I can find. I'm particularly fond of pushing them off of high ledges."

Her willingness to disable an opponent extends as far as breaking limbs and getting enemies into holds. She loves breaking arms. Try to make sure yours is as far away from her hands as possible.

Proficient in a variety of fighting styles, both armed and unarmed. Her favorite to use in unarmed combat is kickboxing, but she is generally able to use most weapons she picks up, be they improvised, normal, or Demon Weapons. She's an adequate shot, but prefers melee weapons. If her partner is taken out of the fight somehow, she will usually pull out her knife and go to town.

What would others say are your strengths? Include at least 3

She's selfless and generally cares about others.

She has a strong sense of justice.

She's courageous.

She's quite booksmart, earning high grades in her classes.

What would others say are your flaws? Include at least 3

A general lack of street smarts.

She occasionally lets her emotions get the better of her.

She's actually rather close to the Madness she despises so much. She doesn't know it, but she has the potential to acquire a specific kind of Madness called the "Madness of Justice," which can cause her to think the innocent are guilty and vice versa.

Her desire to help others may result in some trying to manipulate her, and she may occasionally bite off more than she can chew when rushing to help or protect someone.

Describe your personality in 2 paragraphs or more: Allison is a tomboy, and wouldn't be caught dead in a dress or skirt outside of formal occasion (and that's only if she couldn't wear a tux instead). She tends to stay away from alcohol or drugs. She's a bit sarcastic in many situations. She acts normal outside of a mission, but once on a mission her entire demeanor flips, and she becomes laser-focused, not letting anything distract her from her task unless it is particularly dire. Allison can be rather brutal to her targets, not caring about hitting them in the most sensitive areas or inflicting unnecessary harm. Out of combat, she displays classic New Yorker attitude, tending to regard strangers coldly unless she has something in common with them. However, among people at the DWMA, she attempts to make friends as often as she can. She will almost always jump in to defend others from bullying as well, making herself highly feared among the bully population. Those that don't quickly reconsider when they end up with a broken nose. What do you like?

Give a 3 to 5 paragraph biography: Allison was born in New York City. She had a normal life, up until she was 13 years old, near her fourteenth birthday. A serial killer known as the Midnight Butcher, who had been terrorizing her precinct, burst into the home and killed her parents in the middle of the night (as his moniker would imply). The Butcher was known for eating his victim's souls after he killed them, as he was a Kisshin wannabe. However, this time he never got to eat his freshly-killed meal. The Midnight Butcher was unaware that a young girl was in the house as well. A girl with plenty of access to kitchen knives, who had just witnessed her parents die. Allison sneaked up behind the Butcher as he was getting ready to eat and stabbed him in the neck with an extremely sharp chef's knife, followed by stabbing him in the back 147 times over the course of the next five minutes in a fit of grief-induced rage. She was now left with three souls. Two were her parents, and the red one belonged to the Butcher. She left her parent's souls in the lockbox where her father kept valuable items, to keep them safe from an attack. She knew that if they became ghosts, they would probably be able to escape rather easily. She considered eating the Butcher's soul due to her current mental state, but in the end decided against it. She also considered physically destroying it, but soul destruction could get her in prison for murder since the Butcher was literally incapable of fighting back at this point. Instead, she tearfully, shakily called 911 to explain the situation, including the two souls she was keeping in the hopes they would become ghosts or pass on. The police soon arrived and set up a crime scene, taking the Butcher's soul with them to do God-knows-what. However, the next morning Allison was awoken to her mother calling her to breakfast. Thinking that the previous night's events were merely a dream, she headed downstairs to find that her parents had become ghosts, and no, it wasn't all a dream. She was both overjoyed (that her parents were still around) and aghast (to know that she had indeed brutally killed someone and that her parents had been "killed" in the process). However, she was hailed as a hero in the news for putting a stop to a rampaging mass murderer and saving her parent's afterlives in the process. Life continued normally for a while, but the Chase family soon ran into serious problems. While ghosts, zombies, Witches, and the Kisshin were all well-known, national governments were infuriatingly behind the times when it came to managing Kisshin attacks. In the U.S, ghosts were still legally dead under the law despite the fact that they were still sapient, which meant that they were incapable of getting jobs, holding property, voting, getting Social Security benefits, and other such problems. Allison's dad was fired from his job since hiring a legally dead person would be considered shady at best, and since Allison was under 18, she wasn't eligible to "inherit" the property. That meant that everything the Chase family owned went to their greedy relatives, and the Chases were left penniless. Fortunately, the DWMA had launched several outreach programs to support Kisshin attack survivors in the absence of a reliable government to do so, and were provided with a free apartment in Death City. Her father was able to get a job as an accountant at the DWMA, and Allison felt obliged to enter as a student. After all, her life had been turned upside down by a Kisshin wannabe, and the DWMA had picked her back up. What else could she do but repay the favor and make sure no-one else had to go through what she did? How do you feel about the DWMA? "Well, I think we do a pretty good service by keeping the world safe from Kisshin wannabes and Witch-related problems, but I tend to dislike the organization's amoral stance. I get it, we're in a combat school, being trained to save the world...but if that's the case, why does it feel like a normal high school? I have no sympathy for Kisshin eggs (i refuse to call them 'evil humans,' that's just stupid and whoever came up with that name should be punched), but it's all the violence and death of the military with none of the respect or discipline. It just seems wrong on a fundamental level to treat death so casually. In any case, the organization's sheer size and influence is...rather extreme. I shudder to think what will happen if we become corrupt." Why have you joined the DWMA? What motivates you? "I want to protect others from the many monsters that plague our world. Kisshin eggs, Witches, and evil spirits all pose problems to the world at large, and my goal is to keep others safe at all costs. Plus, you can't deny the sense of adventure that missions give. Even though I risk my life on missions, there's still a thrill involved when I go into battle, and a sense of mystery on investigations." What are your goals while attending the DWMA? Personal Items:

Swiss Army knife

Phone

Wallet

Handheld game system

Water thermos

E-Jacket (that jacket of hers has several dozen pockets, able to carry a lot of stuff)

Other Important Facts:

Crusader's Wavelength: This wavelength gets stronger based on the user's moral investment in their actions and their opinion of said actions. If Allison thinks she's doing the right thing in a battle, her power increases dramatically based on the strength of that conviction. Likewise, her power sharply decreases if she thinks what she's doing is wrong.
