  A'kal is patient and calm, rarely angry. Though usually kind and caring even to new acquaintances, he does not trust people until they haven proven themselves trustworthy. In the field he is a commanding and firm figure, allowing little room for mistakes and always acting in the interest of those he is leading or helping.
  
• 
  A'kal's father was the Sword of Ages to the Varden people - an important national champion figure whose tradition stemmed since the ancient Varden kingdom before its fall. Though the title was not necessarily passed down to one's progeny, in A'kal's case it was.
  
  The boy was groomed for the role since his birth, responding well to his early education until the day had come for him to leave his family home and ascend to the remote Temple of Time in order to finish his training there. He was only twelve.
  
  A'kal's training at the Temple of Time, or Zvern Mevre, was not limited just to martial arts and spiritual growth. A crucial skill for each Sword of Ages to master was the art of chronomancy - time sorcery - normally practiced exclusively by the monks there. The boy completed all of his trials in due time, and was eventually proclaimed the next Sword of Ages - a title that he would be expected to hold for the next three hundred years. From his father, he received the greatsword Valaryn, an ancient, holy blade forged by the Hellguard, and his ascension was complete.
  
  When the Sorceress invaded and triggered the Great War, A'kal rushed to the aid of Asgard despite the independence of the Varden Kingdom, bringing with him a small army of eager volunteers inspired by the chance of following the Sword of Ages into battle. The war was still lost however, and few of those men and women ever returned home.
  
  A'kal himself decided to remain in Asgard, unwilling or unable to stand before his own people after what happened. He assumed the guise of a smith in South Hyerald while cooperating closely with the fledgling movement of resistance, studying the enemy and waiting for the right time to act.
  
  Three years later, with the arrival of the Chosen to Ridge, that time had finally come.

My first reaction was that you should have asked me through a private message first, with this RP being officially closed for applications. After reading your entire character sheet though, I can't deny all the possibilities it brings. I think I could fit you very well into the existing story. There would be a few minor details to be ironed out, of course, but that's only natural. All the most important aspects of your character would remain the way you created them
