Aerumen Lore so far...
Aerumen is a vast world filled with humans and magical creatures alike. Will add more soon.
Also known as the City of Elves, or the City Without Humans. It isn't entirely as selective as the nicknames suggest. Though it is the capital of the westlands, many species live within its walls, the vast majority being elves. The king is a high elf named Mírion who resides in Yefadorei the majority of the time, a man that is most beloved by many people, though he is a bit prideful. The city itself is somewhat of a vast fortress that comes in two main parts, though it's beauty often proves welcoming. The lower half of the city is walled with white stone, reaching around a port to the ocean, and in the middle is where the castle lies, large and elegant, like the high elves who built it. The second half of the city cannot be entered without first entering the lower half unless you know the way. It connects to the vast woodlands that surround part of Yefadoeri, various homes and buildings built into and around the thick trees above the ground.
Yefadorei is also home to the Academy of Arcane Arts, where people study magic, alchemy, and crystals. It's placed in the lower city, as too many non-elves study at the academy.
Humans cannot enter the city without either having an elf companion with them, or having an official invite. Very few live there themselves, and those who do typically are enrolled in the academy or are under apprenticeships.
Human City- TBA
Not a city, and not even a town. Lythrope is an encampment, or small settlement, that is entirely secluded from outsiders. It mainly resides inside a stretch of deep forest in the midlands, close to the border between there and the Westlands, and isn't on any map you can find. In fact, the entire area is cloaked with magic that prevents it from being marked on a map, and those who are not invited in are unaware of its presence. It is, in some way, like a pocket dimension that reaches various places all at once. While the settlement may actually be there, someone who isn't a part of it can walk right through its borders without a clue of it existing, and be none the wiser when they leave. There is a way to be invited in, but only those who have been there before will know the password. The inhabitants of Lythrope are many, many people of different races and skills. Most travelers end up here at some point, but only those who wish it well will remember it, and its password can only be uttered at its borders. It's a strange magic, and rarely studied, only a very powerful magic user could've conducted it, but nowadays the name of this person is long forgotten by most. Many people who reside within the encampment are travelers, those who have been scorned by the law, or even those who just wish for a life away from the politics and cruelty of the kingdoms. There are also traders, black smiths, and healers- people who gain money from the visitors needing a way-station.
The realm is simply another term for the mapped world as a whole. It has a somewhat complicated political system.
The highest power is known as the emperor, or empress, and they rule over all. They make choices of the upmost importance to the realm and its countries, and are the power to whom kings and queens answer to. It's said that those within the bloodline are born blessed by the gods, but such things have yet to be proven.
Below the Emperor are the kings and queens. There are currently three ruling.
Levan, better known as the Westlands, is ruled entirely by elves. The throne is passed to the eldest living child of the current king, be them male or female, unless proven unable to rule. High elves make up the majority of the council; however, a few noble families are sprites. Dwan elves are not typically a part of the nobles or council, at least not by blood relation.
Currently, Levan is ruled by King Mírion and Queen Lanelle. They have three children, the eldest of which is the heir.
Mitas, also known as the Midlands, is ruled by humans. They have a similar system to Levan; however, someone who is not of the royal line can become king as long as they are a noble. Both dwarves and humans are a part of the council, though the majority are main-class humans.
Currently, Mitas' new ruler, King Ballard, has just been named after the dethroning of ex-King Artemis. Ballard is a teen that some consider too young to rule. Much of the previous council is also being replaced due to Artemis' influence.
Nevenir, the Eastlands, are ruled by both humans and elves. The council is made up of humans and elves of all sorts, even one or two impline advisers. They have two royal families and two heirs, the heir that succeeds the throne is decided through tests and by majority vote from the population. Should a royal family fail to produce a direct heir, the title of heir will be given to the next suitable noble of that race. The trials, as they are called, have become somewhat of national event that many gather to watch.
Currently, Nevenir is ruled by humans, King Corin and Queen Devera, whose time of reign will come to an end soon.

Gods of our World
War on Implines.
The northern tribes created and discovered runes, and it was kept a secret from other species for many, many years. However, after hearing of a new form of magic, King Artemis had them hunted down after they refused to reveal their secrets. The western tribe traded the secrets to the king in return for him removing his decree, but the king didn't live up to his side of the bargain. Though no one knows why, he was relentless in hunting the northers down. Now the northern tribes no longer exist, only remnants of their knowledge remain hidden within the mountains. Unfortunately, he didn't stop with them, he continued to try and wipe the Implines from existence, but his people turned on him. When he noticed how severe his consequences could be he ended the hunt, and blamed the Implines, saying they had cursed him. Many people didn't believe him, but some humans still fear Implines when they are seen.
