Advanced partner for Japanese Fantasy

Hello everyone. After a hiatus of sorts, I'm back and looking for a reliable partner to RP with. When I'm RPing I take it seriously, and I'd much rather my partner post quality material than meet an arbitrary deadline. I post every few days, but my posts are generally anywhere between 5-7 paragraphs long and detailed. I'm looking for an Rper who posts in a similar style and at a similar pace.

I will draw heavily upon Japanese culture and mythology during the Asuka period (600 A.D.) when designing this particular RP. It is a light magic fantasy: magic is a real and powerful force in the universe, but it's dark, subtle, and misunderstood by nearly all (no magic missiles in this RP).

Over the past century the Katzumi Tribe has been forced to retreat further and further into the wilderness due to the expansion of the Yamato Empire. Though the blood of their tribe has grown thin due to constant warfare and strife, they've managed to build a small, yet well hidden settlement far to the west. For the first time in decades, the Katzumi have known relative peace.

But an old enemy now threatens the tribe and the entire continent. The Yamato have discovered a massive temple submerged within the marshlands. Believing it to house a fist sized emerald known as the Kirin's Tooth, the Emperor has ordered the immediate excavation of the site. With such wealth at his disposal, he could recruit the armies necessary to quell the Kojima rebellion which has been bleeding the imperial treasury dry. The excavators have recently uncovered the inner sanctum of the ancient structure, and the priests of the Red Mother have begun to unravel the enchantments which seal its doors.

The Katzumi know that the Emperor is excavating no temple, but a prison. It contains no hidden treasure, but an ancient enemy of the world known as the Inagami. The Inagami is a colossal monstrosity with the power to level cities and reshape the landscape. It seeks out human settlements, leaving death and destruction in its wake. Its origins and motives remain a mystery. One thing is certain however; the Inagami must never be allowed to roam the world again.

Inagami

The Elder has ordered the Katzumi tribe’s most skilled warriors to make their way to these ancient ruins, and prevent the Yamato forces from unleashing the Inagami upon the world.

*I would play two characters. I’d begin with Yasu, a twenty six year old male Skin Walker from the Katzumi tribe. Later in the story, I’d also play as Namiko: a female, middle aged Ronin we discover along our journey. (Skin Walkers are individuals with the innate ability to possess the minds of animals. They also have a sensitivity to spiritual forces, and can manipulate or communicate with these forces through various rituals. This would be an example of a subtle, light magic supernatural ability.)

**The RP will begin with our characters attempting to infiltrate the ruins and interrupt the ceremony. This will be one of the more action packed RPs that I’ve created.

I take RPing seriously and am looking for a literate partner who will do the same. Below is a sample of my writing. If one of these plots interests you please pm me a sample.

It was an unusually stormy night, even for the jungles of Kehjistan. The Mage Zoltun Kulle approached the three soul stones which stood in the center of the intricate pentagram which had been carefully etched upon the ground. The stones emitted a subtle energy that sent a chill down Kulle's spine. It wasn't something he wasn't used to; the stones had become an addiction of sorts. Never before had he come across artifacts of such incredible power. He yearned to uncover their secrets. A stone which could trap the essences of both angels and demons; with such a tool, humanity could finally rise against the forces of heaven and hell, and unlock the power of the Nephalem. Indeed, with a sufficient knowledge of the stone's properties, he could perhaps create a new and more powerful artifact, capable of trapping multiple demonic and angelic souls within a single stone. Such an experiment would be costly however, and Kulle had spent several months slaving away in quiet study, tirelessly investigating the mysterious stones.

A grin spread across his face as he stretched forth his hand and began to recite the incantation. The pentagram upon the ground began to light up in flames. Kulle pulled a sharp dagger from his belt, and slid it across the palm of his hand, letting blood upon the three stones below. The blood sizzled as it came in contact with the surface of the stones, emitting plumes of smoke. The wind began to steadily increase, before eventually tearing apart the small jungle shack in which he resided. The rain and wind beat against Kulle's skin, as smoke spilled forth from the vibrating stones. Kulle took a deep breath, before extending his hand once more. Suddenly, the stones began to rise from the ground. The red, yellow and blue stones began to glow, before emitting a tremendous pulse of energy. Kulle quickly performed an incantation, transmuting arcane energy into a thin but resilient field of force. While the magical shield absorbed some of the force, the film of energy quickly dissolved from the impact of the shock wave, knocking Kulle off is feet and shredding the nearby plants and vegetation.

Kulle's face filled with anger and disappointment. He'd tried hundreds of arcane experiments, and while he'd learned much about the stones' capabilities, he'd yet to unlock the true secrets of its creation. To uncover the secrets of the soul stones was to discover the recipe to immortality.

Footsteps could be heard in the distance. A man in brown robes approached Kulle, who was struggling to regain his footing. "Brother Kulle..." "What!?" Kulle quickly snapped, clearly frustrated. "The recruits have arrived....they await your instruction at the docks...". Kulle snarled, pulling himself to his feet with the aid of his large ornate battle staff. "Very well...I'll be there shortly," Kulle muttered. His Horadric brother bowed slightly, before retreating into the jungle. Kulle picked up the Soul Stones and placed them within a Horadric Cube and locking it magically, ensuring their safety. His experiments had failed but Kulle was determined to keep trying. He could give up now, not when he was so close to a breakthrough. But his work could wait for now. With another invocation he opened up a shifting portal to the docks. As he stepped through, he couldn't help but wonder what to expect from his new recruits. Kulle had selected some of the most skilled combatants in Sanctuary. Still, the task before them was daunting, and the stakes were incredibly high. He could only hope that he'd chosen wisely...

I hope to hear from some of you!

Hiya, okay I like your writing excerpt but I am not sure about the plot you've outlined. I am happy to do a Japanese based RP though.
