accordion question?

sorry if this is related to the newness of the site, but i'm already trying out bbcode again to try and get some old code working, and i noticed that accordions seem to have a little weirdness to them?



this is the version of my profile i'd theoretically like people to see, but if i size up or size down the page at all...



this is what i end up getting. i know why my image is moving - it's because i was lazy when i made this code before the site update and let the site resize it to a fixed size automatically back when it still did that. what i want to know is: why is my accordion moving around? is it intentional? is it due to the old accordion code i'm using? was this how it worked on the old site and i'm just stupid and tired? i'd appreciate some input!

This is because the accordion has a set width. Just put in no slide
