Status: Deceased.
Name: Vitis Gurthu

Domains: Harvest, Rebirth [of new life after death], Alcohol (primarily wine), Revelry

Aliases/Titles: They Who Harvests, They Who Sows, Wine-blood, Awakener, Spring Herald

Appearance: "Upon original birth, the great god Vitis Gurthu appeared in the form of a towering stag..."
[The rest of the stone mural is horribly worn from time and stained with a red substance.]
[Another stone mural, one invested in grapevines, bears the depiction of a stag-like beast with a skull for a head fighting a man made of shadow.]
[The last mural shows the stag, bleeding and broken embracing a child with horns. Behind the two figures is a tree nestled in stars and clouds, presumably The Tree of Souls.]
ff846e94dde1461d664545820cdbb98c.jpg

Personality: Vitis Gurthu sees mortals as their whole, rather than concerning themselves with individual beings. However, they cannot help but find amusement and curiosity in these small creatures. Upon further reflection, they realized how fragile these motes of life are to the whims of gods and fate and ponder a way to maintain the cycle of life so that it may not be squashed so easily, or rely solely on the wills of gods to rejuvenate itself. The answer to this question is what they seek in their most early days. They believe in something they call 'firstborn vice' and seek to find a way to cure it within themself.

Likes:
+celebration
+song and music
+fruits and flowers
+running through the wind
+harsh snows and rain
+wilted roses and new leaves

Dislikes:
-imbalance
-greed
-exploitation
-'firstborn vice'

Fears:
-A break in the great cycle of life and death. They are ever worried with protecting the balance, ensuring neither excess nor deprivation will ever overpower the other.
-stagnation
-void
-succumbing to what they call 'firstborn vice'

Signature Powers:
-Making plants wither and flourish by touch/presence.
-blessing the harvest of farmers, fishers, hunters, etc.
-cursing the harvest of farmers, fishers, hunters, etc.
-potent blood. Causes death or healing to those who drink it. Can bring back the dead
-can cause mortals to go into a mad stupor or a state of passive bliss.
-life exchange. Can heal and strengthen life by consuming another. Can both take and give life.

Vitis // Gurthu
C4j6Fl_VUAE2-0u.jpg
𖥸 Gods of Harvest, Rebirth, Intoxication, Seasons 𖥸

𖥸 Vitis -
Aliases/Titles: The Maiden, Wine Mother, Bringer of the Harvest, Blood-and-Wine, Crow Singer

Domains: Harvest, Rebirth, Intoxication, Seasons

Appearance: The woman in the picture above

Personality: Vitis is often seen as the positive side of harvest and rebirth; she causes the crops to grow and ripen, provides the alcoholic drinks that are enjoyed by mortals everywhere, brings the spring and summer, and represents youth and the birth of the cycle. What many mortals fail to grasp, is that these blessings do not come freely. Vitis is keenly dedicated to making sure what is given is always repaid. Crops cannot grow without something dead to consume, and should mortals take too many resources from her domain, she will never hesitate to take back what is owed.

Vitis sees mortals as amusing, fleeting things that shall shine bright before returning to the cycle of rebirth. Each individual is not so much important as the message they bring, their actions in life, and the purpose they serve to the cycle. She can be cruel and cunning in her punishments to mortals who forget their place in the cycle, and those who think they can abuse the balance of life and death. Rarely does she kill these mortals as punishment, but when she does it is always to show a message .

She carries herself with a relaxed confidence and talks with words like honey, though is prone to manipulation and surprising cruelty when crossed. In exchange for her favor, she expects sacrifices and offerings as tribute. As cold as she can be, she is extremely protective and loving on her children and would do anything for them... even if it meant going against her domain.

Likes: watching mortals 'figure things out', festivals, trying new dishes and drinks, hunting, the taste of ambrosia, her children, toying with mortals, alcohol

Dislikes: idiots who think they're clever, mortals forgetting their place, people who don't keep their end of a bargain, being left alone with her thoughts, alcohol

Fears: forever living in the shadow of the stag, the total abuse of resources and the land, losing her children, being left alone without Gurthu.

Signature Powers: blessing/cursing crops and resources, cursing mortals to become monsters and other things, turning any drink into alcohol, the brewing of spirits (particularly wine), rebirth, harvesting life force to transfer to other life sources, bringing spring and summer, creating a drunken maisma.

Other:

- Gurthu 𖥸
Aliases/Titles: The Beast, The Hollow, Flies-and-Rot, Nightwalker

Domains: Harvest, Rebirth, Intoxication, Seasons

Appearance: The stag in the picture above

Personality: Generally, Gurthu is seen as the darker aspects of harvest and rebirth; he causes dead things and crops to rot away, is symbolic of hunting and slaughter of livestock, brings the dark months of winter, and is associated with aging and the end of the cycle. While he is cursed for taking loved ones away and spoiling the beauty of things, he takes only so he can give it back as nourishment for the living, an essential part of the cycle. Appearing as a living pelt of a stag with a skull for a head, he is a constant reminder of mortality.

Despite his macabre nature, Gurthu is friendly and caring. He is a being that does his best to care for the wilderness and creatures around him and makes no distinction between mortals, creatures, plants, and even gods in his interactions. Seeing dead and suffering creatures seems to bother him, so he simply relieves them of their pain by bringing them back into the cycle, where they can be made anew. He views life and mortals as a 'bigger picture' and bases his decisions on the greater good. This seems to be a fine mode of judgement, unless you are in the category of the 'lesser good'.

While he tries his best to comfort others, he has no empathy and does not understand or experience pain himself. In a way, his obliviousness can almost be considered innocence, in a dark sense. He is never far from Vitis' side and makes sure to keep an eye on her so that she doesn't let her emotions overwhelm her into what he can vaguely sense as 'vice'. It causes him great discomfort to see her struggling with painful emotions when he cannot share the burden or understand how to help her.

Likes: flowers, animals (including gods who look like animals), being pat, children, Vitis, food, helping others, playing in the snow, wrapping people in his pelt in a 'hug' (this is often seen as disturbing by many people, but he keeps forgetting this and doing it anyway)

Dislikes: suffering, scaring mortals, the suffering and sadness of others.

Fears: being alone.

Signature Powers: rotting corpses and crops, bringing souls into the cycle, harvesting the essence of dead things to grow new things, bringing winter, blessing hunters with a bountiful harvest, causing intoxicated madness, blood that is potent with both poison and healing properties.

Other:

He would always share knowledge to those who sought it and would assist the other gods on the simple condition to not touch his book. In the time of conflict Unry boiled with rage at the mere clue that one of the gods wanted to claim the book, turning a once calm God into a berserker which flattened the great mountain of the world into a little hill. name: dreams end

aliases/titles: the unknown, omen, ruin,

pronouns: any, primarily he/they but they don't care

domains: war, death, famine, and diseases

appearance: now standing at the height of 5'9 they look closer to a teen or young adult. While they haven't fully matured yet he still now looks far older than he used to. Besides looking older he now has a dark coloration at the end of his fingers that he did not use to have. He can no longer cry tears and whenever they are to cry or get emotional the sclera of his eyes turn black and take a while to fade away.

personality: the clawing of hands begging for freedom. Screams of pain and screams of battle. Blood coats their hands and all they can see is the flashing of destruction amoung the peace around them. An urge to take everything created in the world and bring it to shreds with their claws, laughing as they watch the suffering of all. But they don't want to be that. Their ears ring with devilish desires and yet they do their best to not give in. While everything they touch may almost always end up dead soon after, they strive to be what they can not, something not of destruction but creation. To mortals they make attempts to be friendly however they are widely feared and known to be a bad omen and once seen brings hardships and destruction. They do their best but they are often brought down my the constant destruction that follows them. With godly duties they are fairly oblivious to them and don't understand their exact role in this world.

signature Powers:
(idk if these work I'm struggling ;w; maybe more to be added)
diseases and rot~ things that come in contact with their sludge(or essentially the original material of their body) will get diseases and illnesses galore, many being ones that have not existed before. Plants rot and shrivel and quickly infect those around them. The mysterious illnesses produced by them often are extremely contagious and lethal to mortals.

the thrill of a fight~ the ability to create weapons and such to use out of their sludge. These weapons are extremely crude and often don't even look much more than a single jagged blade, however, they are extremely sharp and leaves those wounded by it infected with wounds that rot and an immune system that tears itself apart, leaving them with no nutrients and starving if the wounds don't kill them first. Gods experience a similar weakening however the extent is far more minor and is not fatal, more of a temporary debuff.

let their screams fuel me~
conflict or negative emotions result in an increase of their strength. Their mere presence also inflicts negative emotions onto others and makes conflict much more common and almost encouraged by an invisible force. these emotions and feelings are often led to sudden outbursts that result in conflicts.

    Name: Sinidarr

Aliases: Stormcrown, The Tempest, Spreader of Seeds, Stormborn

Domains: Major God of Storms, Rain, Thunder and Lightning

Appearance: Sinidarr appears as a stormcloud crackling with electric energy. However, he takes other forms when it suits him, including the following:

    Mortal Form
    Sini_Stormcrown.png

    Beast Form
    Peryton5e.png

    Personality
Sinidarr is a god of middle grounds. Not quite sea but not quite sky, not quite chaos but not quite order. Likewise, Sinidarr is a god of conflicted nature. He is temperamental but patient. Quick to recognise a problem but slow to act. Sinidarr is devoted to his peers and all those who swear loyalty. Though his personality is uncertain, Sinidarr always seeks to know more and to seek the truth, promoting strength through knowledge. This knowledge can also lead to the improvement of one’s physical and mental self, as well as to their society. To the Tempest, mortals are beings of unrefined potential. Each one tells a different story, but together is when sagas are written and ballads are sung. It is only when creatures are united, mortals and gods alike, that true progress and improvement can be found.

Name: Buras

Aliases/Titles:

Domains:
Sun, Moon, Emotions, and Kings (Rulers)

Appearance:
1628182719440.png
1628182757758.png

Personality: Buras is a god of two personalities, one for his solar aspect and the other his lunar.

His Solar Aspect is a fiery individual, quick to anger, the pain of his birth brought to the forefront.
Solari Buras has visible contempt for the gods most responsible for igniting him and making him the God of the Sun. He does not take demands and negotiations of any sort should be postponed until his eventual transformation into Lunari Buras.

Lunari Buras is a Somber individual, often found looking into the great oceans at his reflection, specifically his one, milky white eye that the mortals know him by best. He is much more rational in this state, and understands that it was all an accident, the way he came to be. He is much more receptive of talks, but will not be cheated or treated like a fool.

Throughout both there is a surprising caring streak. As Buras looks down upon the world that the Gods have created together, he can't help but be fascinated by the going-ons of mortal life.

Likes:
  • There is a soft spot in his heart for the mortal races. Though he cannot create any of his own, what the others have made fascinate him.
  • Though Mawlock's participation in his creation is disputed, Buras looks upon the other god as an equal and giddily looks over some of the creations that he makes.

Dislikes:
  • The God L'Oria. They were the ones that combusted him into the role of God of Sun and brought blindness to his one eye. Half the light of his world, gone so he could light it for the others.
  • Incredibly envious of Syrion, Buras believes that were it not for his violent birth into this universe he would be just as if not more beautiful.

Fears: The great Abyss that lingers always at the edges of Creation.

Signature Powers:
  1. Solar Manipulation: Buras, being the aspect of the Sun, can control and guide it's immense power.
  2. Lunar Manipulation: Buras, being the aspect of the Moon, can control the subtle influence of the moon and focus it's quiet strength.
  3. Word of (a) God: Buras infuses with his very words with his divinity, commanding and controlling all lesser beings.

Name: Runa

Aliases/Titles: Lady of Written Thoughts, Mother of Runes, Keeper of the Divine Language, the First Librarian

Domains: Language, Literature, Runes

Appearance: Runa frequently appears before mortals as a sharply dressed woman carrying a book or a tome, although her exact appearance differs each time.

Runa.jpg
Runa.jpg

Personality: Runa is a stern and no-nonsense goddess who takes her duties quite seriously as she maintains her domains. She knows from the moment that she was formed that she has been given the duty to aid the mortals through spoken & written words and the use of runes to invoke magic. And when the time comes for her to fulfill her duties, she will do so without complaint. This made her methodical and infinitely patient when dealing with both gods and mortals, although she would not hesitate to throw one or two sassy one-liners or rolling her eyes when the situation demands one. She also maintains neutrality in many affairs where subjective morals are involved especially when her duties are concerned. Otherwise, she is open to cooperate with other gods and goddesses if her assistance is required.

Due to the connection of their domains, she sees Unry as an older brother figure.

Likes: Diligence, Intelligence, Listening to Oratories and Stories, Reading, Writing

Dislikes: Illiteracy, Interruptions, Scoffing at the importance of Written Work, Wanton Destruction of Written Records

Fears: Failing her duties

Signature Powers:

Divine Language
: Being the Goddess of Language, Runa is able to bless a subject with the ability to comprehend any and all spoken and written language as well as decipher its meaning and contexts. When she physically manifests, all around her - even the animals - would be able to comprehend and understand each other despite the language barrier.

Life in Words: Being the Goddess of Literature, Runa is able to create effects based on literature work. In short, she is able to bring written words to life. For example, she can bring upon a dragon described in a written story to life, bound by its description. For example, if said dragon is said to breathe fire, then it will breathe fire and not acid.

Rune Magic: Being the Goddess of Runes, Runa painstakingly imbued magic into each and every rune, discovered and undiscovered. A Rune that works exceptionally well is seen as a symbol of her pleasure while a seemingly perfect Rune that failed to trigger is seen as a symbol of her disapproval. Runa knows all runes past and present, and can cast spells through them that are beyond the comprehension of mortals and gods alike.

Other: Runa’s holy symbol is a vertical straight line, representing the first rune and letter that was ever written.

Simple Guide to Rune Magic System
Rune magic is magic cast using Fonts. A complete rune is formed by combining at least two Fonts: A Core Font and an Expression Font. It can then be further modified and empowered through the use of Accent Fonts. Once a Rune has been inscribed, the rune would be powered by Runa’s divine power so that it could bring forth the desired effects.

Core Fonts describe the type of Rune that one inscribes and is more than likely to correspond to a god’s holy symbol. A Font can be Reversed to produce an opposite effect, but it may not always work (and may anger the gods the Rune corresponds to.) One can also combine two or more Core Fonts, although the effects may be unpredictable for the novice inscriber.

Note On Vex (Liberation Rune), paraphrasing Sam136 Sam136 :
Vex has the most emotional attachment to the Liberation Rune. While he can accept the rune being inverted, be very mindful of what you use it for. If you use that rune to legitimately enslave someone and bend them to your will he will hunt you down and kill you. If it's not that bad though then he can be reasonable. The rest will get his attention but he'll be OK. He might get mad if he feels the inversions are abused though.

Also here's what I imagine the inversions would be: Freedom/Slavery/Imprisonment Revenge/Forgiveness (practically speaking I imagine this acting as a calming affect) Revolution/Stability Disasters/Protection against disasters (basically the rune kinda acts as a good luck charm against natural disasters)

Expression Fonts determine the form of the Rune.

Expression Font Effects
Basic Expressions
Focused Intent Rune affects a single target through touch (rune inscribed on the target, or by having the target touching the rune)
Faraway Strike Rune creates a ranged magic bolt, affecting the target
Distant Impact Rune creates a ranged magic bolt, affecting the target and a small area around it
Master's Call Rune summons the copy of an object or creature. A creature summoned this way will obey all commands
Expert Expressions
Channeled Strength Rune creates an effect bursting forth from a cone origination from the Rune,
Material Force Rune affects target’s weapon or items though touch
Guarded Form Rune affects target’s armor or clothing through touch
Directed Force Rune affects targets along a single line
Master Expressions
Enclosed Barrier Rune's effects are centered on four identical runes Note: Can be inscribed on the ground, walls, pillars to other similar surfaces
Erected Wall Rune creates a wall between two identical runes
Proximate Action Rune creates an aura around itself
Influential Domain Rune affects targets in a circular area nearby Note: Influential Domain doesn’t require line of sight when compared to Distant Impact
Chaotic Descent Rune creates rain or mist, affecting random targets in a circular area
Creative Thought Rune creates a temporary, non-magical object

Personality:

Adventurous, hands on and carrying a spark of curiosity, Lorwen travels around the mortal world, enamored with what those given small pittances of time on the planet can do in their short lives. The goddess directly involves herself with mortals, showing them generosity and warmth regardless of their background, moral standing or treatment towards her, though Lorwen prefers to interact with individuals who are smiths or craftsmen so that she can learn how to make their creations. This direct involvement with the mortals has led the goddess to take a few as her spouses throughout the centuries. While married, Lorwen temporarily halts her travels across the mortal world to settle down with her spouse. Then, when Lorwen's spouse parts from her, either by choice or death, the goddess will lock herself away from the world to mourn the end of her union for a decade.

Other Gods may frown on Lorwen's interactions with mortals, but the goddess does not care. There are few Gods that Lorwen deigns to interact with, not because of her dislike of the other Gods, rather it is due to the very short life span of mortals. Lorwen is afraid to turn her attention away from the mortal world, for every decade she turns her gaze from the mortals, they have crafted another marvelous invention or her very few children have grown up. Still, Lorwen does not tend to enjoy the company of other Gods, who she generally treats with monotonous politeness instead of her usual warmth.

Aliases/Titles: (What do other Gods call them or what do followers or even common mortals call them)

Domains: The Wilds/Wilderness

Appearance:
1633226630718.png
The wilderness can be beautiful, and it is reflected in this form. However, Zythis is an often angry god, and mortals are not given the chance to even glimpse this form.
1633227697836.png

Personality: A hateful being, Zythis is one whose Domain is constantly under assault by the creations of many of the other Gods, or so he believes. He is quick to lash out, and trusts no one unless what they say will explicitly benefit himself or they bind themselves to him until the agreement or deal is seen through. Being a minor god, Zythis is a much more focused and direct God, more willing to meddle in specific mortal's affairs, though unlike a minor god, he is also willing to attempt to corrupt the works of the other gods.

Likes: The untamed wilderness, untainted by the filth of organization and stench of civilization. He looks towards Vitis Gurthu as a physical representation that all civilizations will, eventually, return to the wilderness that it once came from.

Dislikes: Every last city, wall, and well manicured garden.

Fears: The total destruction of all wild places, with nothing left but mocking echos under the watchful eyes of those that feel guilty for destroying it in the first place.

Signature Powers: Zythis' realm hangs like a parasite from the mortal plane of existence, and he can quite easily and accurately open portals to wherever he wishes. Something he has already done with great effect upon his birth.

Minnie can make just about anything from almost anything. She likes to see the brighter side of things and is very eager to help others whether it is mortals, other gods or goddesses, demigods, you name it she is willing to assist to the best of her abilities. If she is unable to be of use, instead of getting upset or angry, Minnie will direct the individual to another who would be better suited for the task.

Likes: Making Crafts, Spending time with her mother, Fluffy and soft things, Running her quaint little store, Sweet treats

Dislikes: Being told she isn't allowed to do something, Anyone attempting plagiarizing her craft, When her mother takes over her crafts, when her fox is circling her feet making it impossible to walk

  • Minnie is able to turn any craft into another craft so long as it is the same size.

Children of Vitis
Note: While these are her children, she insists that they do not let mortals know she is their mother...

  • And so that fair maid walked through the pit of snakes, unscathed, yet her lover was struck by a thousand bites and died. Unbeknownst to her, her wife had been unfaithful and had broken the deepest contract of love.
Exerpt from "The Serpent's Kiss", an elvish play

    Name: Syrinx

    God Rank: Minor God

    Aliases/Titles: The Thousand-Eyed Serpent

    Domains: Contracts, Fortune

Appearance: as all children of Vitis Gurthu, Syrinx chooses to appear in both mortal-humanoid form and beast

    6e51363226fa001434d4dcdc412b2113.jpg
    imgonline-com-ua-ReplaceColor-7SXrGlZWfvjFei8.jpg

Humanoid: A tall woman with long black hair that conceals one of her eyes. The aura of a golden third eye levitates above this hidden eye, symbolizing Syrinx's ability to peer into the future of mortals. she wears a flowing purple dress with long sleeves and embroidered in a golden scale design. Her chest and legs are inked in a serpent tattoo, which is known to move about as she is talking. She seems to switch between a human form, and one that has the upper body of a woman and the lower section of a snake. The latter being whenever she wishes to appear frightening to mortals during a fortune reading or contract.

Divine Beast form: A snake with countless heads, each possessing a golden, third eye in the center of their heads. A golden mist glows from these third eyes, and between their fangs. Her scales are a pale violet with hints of gold spikes protruding from each scale and as horns around each head. Holy bells hang from her primary head, which is distinguished by having double the usual amount of eyes. At the center of her body, where each head is attached, is a large bell rimmed with flowers, knots of rope, and a garden of raked sand. The bell rings whenever a contract is made with the goddess, and whenever it has been broken. Because of this, some mortals have called it the 'serpent's dinner bell'.

Personality: Syrinx was born from her mother's desire to have mortals repay everything they took from her domain. Unsurprisingly, Syrinx has taken up a similar stance and is dedicated to ensuring that any contract made by a mortal is kept, lest they be punished in whatever means she deems fit. Most often, she does this in a way that is most amusing to her. Other times, she is content to simply eat them.

Granting mortals visions of their future is also a great joy to her, since she loves to watch them fight their fate. This usually means making a contract with her in a way they hope will allow them to avoid it. In the end, their desperation to avoid this fate leads to their swift downfall. Those who accept their fate, or keep their end of contracts, tend to live the longest and lead happy lives.

While she is the goddess of contracts and fortune, she grows bored whenever her contracts last longer than expected and will do her best to make the details of the contract difficult to follow, or hide them within vagueness. Often, this will mean changing the meaning of certain agreements, or fooling mortals into agreeing to things that amuse her, or lead to their consequence. Those who fall for her tricks are often those blinded by wealth, power, or status, and she takes great joy in watching them fall for their own vices. She has been known to tempt mortals into breaking contracts for her own amusement.

Despite being malicious in her games, Syrinx is helplessly infatuated by cute animals and sweet things. In secret, she scoops up woodland animals to keep in her menagerie and steals mountains of sweets to feed her addiction. Out of guilt, and obligation to keep a secret contract, she sends serpents to eat rodents and pests to repay the farmers and sweet-makers she steals from. While trying to appear cool and mysterious to mortals and other gods, she is a caring older sister to her siblings and gets very upset whenever she can't see them, or if anything troubles them.

Likes: games, outwitting mortals, gossip, predicting things correctly, keeping secrets, fluffy things, cute animals, sweets, bathing in the sun, swimming, hot drinks

Dislikes: the cold, messy surroundings, people who actually follow her contracts, greed, dishonesty,

Fears: people finding out about her secret stash of sweets, or how addicted she is to sugary delicacies.

    Signature Powers:
Fortune Telling: Syrinx is capable of predicting the futures of creatures of lesser status than gods. While she can also predict the future of gods, this is not as accurate and is prone to being vague or shifting in nature. (HMU if you want to make a 'fortune' for your god)

Snake's Venom: Any of her heads are capable of injecting a poison potent enough to kill all but divine beings (demi gods, minor gods, minions, gods). While it does not kill divine beings, it can slow down divine beings that are of her level of power, and sometimes causes headaches to true gods.

Serpent's Contract: as goddess of contracts, Syrinx is capable of forming a bond between herself and whoever she creates a contract with. She may grant power, good fortune, healing, and long lives, so long as the other end of the bargain is upheld. Should the other end of the bargain be broken, the punishment as stated in the contract will be carried out by the sound of her bell. Usually she likes to eat the breaker of her contract, transporting them to another realm within her belly.
--> any mortal can summon her to overlook a contract made between them, binding them with her power. Should either party break the contract, she will consume the oath breaker as punishment. Sometimes she gets asked to oversee a marriage... those are her favorite for all the wrong reasons.

Realm of Fortune & Contracts: The entrance to Syrinx's personal realm is located within her stomach. Offerings, people, and other things she likes are transported here after consumption. There are several areas in this realm, including her treasure hoard of offerings & knickknacks, contract-breakers who are to serve her for eternity, and her private menagerie. Also her secret stash of sweets.

Severed Heads: each of Syrinx's head (save her main one) are capable of breaking off of her form to independently travel across the realms. Mortals often say that every snake in the world was once part of Syrinx, and now act as her watchers of those who keep promises.

Snake's Rebirth: If injured or sick, Syrinx is capable of shedding her skin to regenerate herself anew. Regeneration is only possible after consuming a large quantity of food from her personal realm, which is why she always has a stash of food offerings.

name: Odele

aliases/titles: god of death's wife, (more to be added?)

domains: minor god of insanity, gore, violence, and battle

appearance: a body so thin its made of bones, crackling like a puppet on a string when she moves like her joints break every time. Her skin is so pale there is no life to it, her wide red eyes plastered against her face paired with her silk like black hair. Shaded from the sun and sky by her frivolous umbrella. Her exquisite dress hugs her no existent body fat and her several inch heels make her 5'8 rather than her normal 5'4. Dark bags hug her elegant lashes of her eyes though instead of ragged it gives her an appearance similar to a doll.

personality: the only one who matters to Odele is herself. She wants to be the best there is, she wants to own everything, be a god. She will do anything to obtain this, even befriending a young god who she easily and enjoys manipulating. She will hurt people without caring and has a short temper. She acts like a child, throwing a tantrum if she doesn't get what she wants, and will hurt someone in everyway she can if they wrong her.

she is extremely spiteful and desires for others to suffer. She is extremely vain and loves herself and thinks that everyone is bellow her. She does not care for the lives of mortals and thinks of them as lower creatures despite the fact she used to be one.

likes:
  • complements
  • praise
  • other people suffering
  • winning
  • being the best
  • people fearing her

dislikes:
  • losing
  • things not going her way
  • insults
  • not being able to do something
  • cute things

fears:
  • dying
  • not being in control

signature powers:
moulding flesh
the ability to control her own flesh and the flesh of others to create monstrosities and kill something painfully. Moulding it like it was clay and able to do it within a few feet in front of her. This is sadly not as effective on gods as it is on mortals, not being able to do more than some facial touch ups.

beastly consumption
an ability that could have come from her once mortal need to eat, this requires her to still consume food. However, the only food that can give her nutrients is raw flesh and blood, preferably devoured from living subjects. Eating this flesh heals damages to her body and increases her natural abilities (like speed and strength) and power abilities.

on the hunt
similar to dreams end, whenever she is near violence or battles she gains a boost of speed and strength along with being able to track down creatures that she has consumed blood of. They leave behind a scent that she can also see as red clouds in the air.

Name: Cárta Imeartha Cearrbhachas

Aliases/Titles: Imea/Lady Luck- The Gambler, The Fair, The Kind.

Domains: Gambling, Games, Goodwill and Queens.

Personality:
Imea could be accurately described as 'happy-go-lucky'. Caring very little about her own future and very much living life one step at a time the Goddess is prone to dealing with the cards she is dealt right as she's dealt them. After all, counting cards would be a waste of time and effort! And make for a very boring game of cards! Imea is a very kind soul who cares deeply about those she meets or shares a bond with, never one to shrink away from a God or Motal in need. Although adamant her actions are minor Imea actually quite often goes out of her way to help those in need and her actions, although small, can really make a difference in the long run. Despite this and when presented with the praise she is very humble and insists her actions were nothing out of the ordinary and unworthy of any praise.

Naturally enough, as the goddess of gambling Imea is a compulsive gambler unbeknownst to herself. Where there's a bet to be made or a game to be won Imea can often be found. When it comes to competitions Imea is highly motivated to win and her drive to do so can bring out quite a different side to her. If there are odds at play Imea cannot help herself from jumping into the fray 'trying her luck' as she goes.

A generous and kind soul Imea is very social and tries her best to keep her fellow gods and the mortals of the world happy. Often a mediator in fights, Imea also tries her best to keep the peace and resolve disputes peacefully and with as little collateral as possible. She loves soft toys and coffee is sure to brighten up her day. Always energetic Imea does her best at everything she tries. That being said she seems painfully unaware of how happy go lucky she really is, especially during serious or dangerous times/situations.

On the surface, Imea seems like an idiotic and fun-seeking goddess who although kind, spends her time wastefully in bliss. Imea, however, is far more intelligent than she lets on to believe, far more strategic than one would ever expect and her mind effortlessly capable of formating plans to better a kingdom as well as tackle court politics. Imea however hardly shows this side of herself to others for she finds it tedious and boring.

Likes: Gambling, Games of any and all descriptions, risk, winning, being social, interacting with mortals.

Dislikes: Praise, Seeing others hurt or troubled, unnecessary acts of violence, war.

Fears: Imea fears that one day soon a great war will break out that divides both the mortal world and the heavens.

Signature Powers:

Imea, as the Goddess of games, has the uncanny ability to excel at any game she plays as well as the ability to pass her skills on to others. Imea also possesses knowledge of how to play any game put in front of her at a professional level while also passively knowing the name and rules of all games in exitance.

Imea Possesses the ability to clearly see through lies and deceit as well as an unnatural ability to draw others' attention when speaking. Imea also tends to be very persuasive and as a result, is very capable of mediating conflicts between even gods.

Imea possesses the ability to bring good fortune to those who provide aid to others, a blessing from the gods. Imea can also sense when someone is troubled.

Imea possesses the ability to command respect from those around her. Upon first glance, she may seem clumsy, foolish and childish but when she gets serious her aura is the noblest of all and commands respect from even the gods.

Imea as the goddess of Gambling possesses the unique ability to form contracts between both mortals and gods alike. Having Imea bear witness to a bet made seals that bet with divine intervention which ensures the agreed-upon outcomes are met. When sealing a bet between gods both gods must agree to the terms and conditions, offering forth their power to Imea so she can weave the contract into being. Once this is done the god can compete to their heart's content knowing that would they win their prize is guaranteed. Should they lose however they also know that what they have bet is forfeit.

Finally and most powerfully, Imea possesses the ability to warp reality around her into a game like state, enforcing rules and laws that may not usually apply or remove them. For example, if two Gods were to duel Imea could erect a space in which they could go all out without damaging their surroundings. Likewise, if two mortals were to duel she could remove the ability for those mortals to die or make it so that they need fight under the effects of a debuff. (note that when gods are caught up in this space they must consent to it's effects before being subject to them.

Name: Viator, The Drifter

Aliases/Titles:
The Lost God, He who Guides the Weary, Epiphany

Domains: Travellers, Roads, Philosophy

Appearance: Screenshot_20220426-123133_Gallery.jpg
Pictured above, is the appearance he takes when dealing with his fellow deities, as to avoid the constant guessing game of forms and intent. Amongst mortals though, this form is rarely seen. He prefers to change his guise freely amongst the mortals that shall be graced by his presence. Perhaps a sickly crone, or a bright eyed child set on a scholastic path. Any who tread the roads may, in fact, be him. Any statues or icons depicting him are left bereft of defining details, beyond a cloak, armor of a guard, or perhaps the robes of a scholar.

Personality: Viator is what many would call forgettable. Not in the manner of the mortals, but in the manner that secrets become forgotten. The details lost, the context forgotten, but still it lingers. Likewise, at least with the mortals he's met, and those whose travels have piqued his interest, they'll know he was there. They'll know they've met... Someone, but it's all a blur. Perhaps they drank too much? Perhaps it's merely the toll of their work taken them for a flight of fancy. The only thing that's agreed upon, by those whom have walked a few steps in a journey of untold miles with this God, is that he's always got an ear for their stories, and a story of his own in kind. It is through his stories, that the lost find their guidance. Perhaps it's the kick in the ass they needed to finally decide the path they wished to take. Maybe it's the gentle reprimanding of a doting parent, bringing a mind left in chaos to the only logical conclusion, making the world right once more. Through his stories, the lost will be found, and until then, the roads they strode must be guarded.

When dealing with the Gods, his forgettable nature is perhaps more seen as an uncaring aloofness. Rarely does he take issue with the deities around him, but neither does he care to kiss ass and play nice. He merely wishes to travel, to see what wonders they've created, and how their actions create their consequences. So long as they don't aim to restrict his carefree wandering, he feels no need to play their petty games of politics, real or not. However, if they wish to gaze upon the majesties of the world from the greatest mountain, to the most wilted plant, they are more than welcome to take that first step in the journey of a thousand miles.

If one were to catch him unawares, they'd find he's... Really not that talkative. In truth, he's quite easily caught up in his own thoughts when alone. Pondering the 'Why? How? What?'s of reality. Perhaps he's wondering the significance of a specific garden to their owner. Each individual flower could potentially tell many stories. Maybe he's counting the graves left after a battle alongside the road, wondering if the cost in life was worth the goal achieved by the victor? Odd really, to wonder the price of a mortal life, as a God. If one could convince him to share his thoughts as he was thinking, they'd likely get a confusing conflicting tide of perspectives as he sifted through it, and if they stuck around, they may just find an odd truth that'll resonate with them.

As for how he is around his creations? Well... He has none, nor does he have plans to create. No, he won't be tied down in that manner. Especially when there are so many creations that the other Gods have so graciously brought forth that can be observed, examined, and pondered over. Why go through the work of creating his own, when he could continue his aimless meandering?

Likes: Travelling, exploring, rivers, mortals, introspection, debate, stories, staring off into the distance.

Dislikes: Cages, traps, toll roads, bandits... Anything that prevents freedom of movement really. Oceans, militaries, kingdoms. If it stifles the ability to think inwardly, or the ability to travel, it is a bad thing.

Fears: Being bogged down by responsibility, made to actually settle down. Oh, also deeply afraid of being captured in some manner that he can't escape from.

Signature Powers: Viator is most known, ironically, for his ability to be unremarkable. It may not fool the Gods quite as easily, but not a single mortal can remember his presence precisely. It's more than likely something done passively, given he's not really even aware of it. However, if he were to try then, it's alleged he could even hide his presence from the other Gods. Though that'd be ridiculous... Right?

Alongside that, he is known for his speed. The Drifter never stays anywhere for long, and although the human notion of running from one's problem is laughably incorrect, it's an apt description of how fast he can go. It'd be nothing for him to cross an entire continent in a minute, provided he knew the roads to take. They say all roads lead somewhere, he was never quite good with quotes so forgive him for missing the location, but he's found that makes all too easy to create little... Shortcuts.

Speaking of said Shortcuts, in a way this is a power of his own. It's by no means the creation of a Realm, probably. It's more like submerging reality within his will. If a travelling party has earned his favor, he'll construct for them a perfectly safe, and notably swift passage to take. Even the most heavily raided stretches of road will be tamed and made safe by him, for that group on this one way trip only. It's rumored those who anger him get much the opposite, but that's mere hearsay, given his aversion to anger.

Finally, although not quite much of a power per se, as much as just a honed ability... He is very well versed in observation. Scarily so, in fact. Given a scene, he could more than likely put together what happened, albeit minus details. He couldn't tell you that a stag of this weight bounded through these bushes x hours ago. He could tell you a four legged beast of approximate size has gone through here. The more clues left behind, the more detail he could figure out. Say the deer left some fur behind. He'd likely then be able to tell you the animal, and likely even the age of it if he tried real hard.

Name: Vex

Aliases/Titles: Calamity

Domains: Revolution, freedom, Revenge, Natural Disasters

Appearance: They have two forms. A humanoid form and their feral wolf form.

https://www.pngmart.com/files/13/Demon-Anime-Boy-Background-PNG.png

Their body as a wolf also has an extremely dark colour while being almost oily. It gives one the impression of Tar. Blood leaks from their eyes, mouth and other parts of their body. Their ribs can be seen giving the impression of a starving beast.

Personality: (How do they act around mortals, how do they act around other Gods, how do they act when alone or with their creations)

They could be said to have two personalities. Their regular personality is a relatively reasonable person. They avoid unnecessary conflict but are willing to fight to protect innocents.

Their second personality is their "feral" state. A personality that takes shape when they're on the job so to speak. Their reasoning takes a back seat and they truly become a force of destruction. They obliterate their target and only until nothing remains will they start to regain their sanity.

Likes: Travelling, nature

Dislikes: losing control, themselves, slavers, tyrants, villains, "Good" Gods that do nothing

Fears: That they might lose themselves to their wrath and never turn back

Signature Powers:

Bringer of Calamities. There powers are designed for wide scale and complete destruction. The actual manifestation of the Calamity can vary, a tidal wave, an earthquake, a tornado but in general the ability manifest as an attack that will wipe out at least an entire city.

Other: (Anything else you might want to add to the CS, maybe you have a theme, maybe a symbol? Whatever you want can go here.)

A god born of mortal wrath, from the wishes of slaves who desperately seeking freedom. A god of freedom but… there's a darkness to them. The very ones who prayed for him had themselves lost all hope, in the end freedom wasn't something they could truly imagine attaining. So that wish was tainted, rather than a god of simply freedom, a god of vengeance was born that devoured everything in its wake.

Name: Ereshak

Aliases/Titles: The Curse-Beast, The Hunter-On-High, the Gorger, the Curse-Mother, The Beast In the Dark, The Unrelenting Predator, The New Friend.

Domains: The Hunt, Hunger, Curses, Compassion.

Appearance: Ereshak takes two forms, between that of a beast and that of a mortal. It is hard to discern exactly what she represents or is similar to, save something vaguely canid.

Beast
IMG_3456.jpg

Ereshak's beast form is that of a great canid beast, covered from head to toe in a wild orange fur. This beast is no ordinary animal, in part due to its size and strength, and due to its disturbing, exaggerated features. The beast's ribs are visible, for the beast's torso has been carved out, representing of its eternal hunger. Despite this, Ereshak is not lacking in strength, speed, or durability. The beast's hide has been pierced by dozens of weapons, each representing a curse she carries. The Hunt Goddess is powerful in both forms, though his form is far more illustrative of that power. The front left paw is missing one of its digits. Ereshak's teeth are sharp, some long enough to just out of its mouth. The beast's four eyes glow a bright yellow-orange, the typical sign of her influence.

Mortal
Ereshak's mortal form is that of a tall, mostly-human woman of wild, fiery hair. Her body is densely muscled, her skin a great patchwork of scars. Notably, she possessed two tall, orange-furred ears that sprout from the top of her head, and a long, bushy tail of similar color. Everything about her has the feeling of something wild, from her unkempt hair to the claws on her hands or the look in her eyes. Ereshak's mortal form has a singular blade One of Ereshak's hands is missing its pinkie finger. Ereshak's mouth is filled with sharpened teeth, and her face is dominated by hard, sharp features. Her eyes glow a bright yellow-orange, the typical sign of her influence.

Personality:r
To most mortals, Ereshak is a demon. The beast whose hunger never ends. She exists to most as a boogeyman, a monster in the deepest wilds that preys on mortals. The truth of this however, varies. Ereshak absolutely can be a monster, an endless maw that hungers forever, and devours mortals without pause. However, this is not by her will. When fully in control of herself, Ereshak is fond of mortals. Ereshak holds a great compassion for mortals, and desires to see them flourish and live happily. Her ability to be of aid however, is limited by her own curses, and manifestations of her hunger make her feared by most mortals. As a bit of a divine outcast, Ereshak is not often worshipped. However, they don't mind this. Ereshak does not view worship as legitimate, and does not request it from her followers.

Although she is not the God of the Outcasts, she does watch over them closely. The Outcast are often cursed, and Ereshak knows that feeling well. Ereshak is a god who wanders, and in her travel, often comes across travelers and outcasts. When she can at least control herself, she is more than happy to guide, aid, and protect. Unlike similar wild gods, Ereshak has no particular feelings about civilization. Does not think it is good or bad.

Ereshak's relations with other Gods are not particularly strong. Ereshak is not terribly social, speaking little and keeping to herself. She and her creations tend to be an active threat to the works of other Gods, and in the worst of cases, Ereshak might even attack other Gods. Of course, she doesn't mean badly by this, but tend to interact with mortals over Gods.

To their creations, Ereshak's feelings are complex. Although she is proud of her creations, and aids them however she can, she feels a heavy guilt, for everything touched by her power is cursed. She feels guilty for bringing creations into the world that will know such suffering, but she thinks it worth it regardless.

Likes: The Hunt, mortal happiness, travel.

Dislikes: The Hunt, Hunger, Gods that do not care about mortals,

Fears: Hunger, destroying creation by accident.

Signature Powers:
The Hunter on High: Ereshak makes and influences all manner of predators. The predatory instinct itself is hers. She is able to transform mortals or grant them greater physical abilities, at a cost.

The Curse-Mother: Ereshak is the embodiment of all curses. She has control of them, can alter or place them at will, though notably she struggles in curing them, due to her own nature.

The Unrelenting Predator: Of all the Gods, Ereshak's senses are greatest. There is nothing she cannot find, nothing she cannot chase. If it exists, she will smell it, she will hear it, and she will find it.

The Curse-Beast: Ereshak's body is pierced by many weapons, each of them embodying a curse. Each time a new curse enters the world, a new kind of curse, it is said that a new blade pierces Ereshak's body. Each of these blades are a fragment of her power, though their presence pains her. These blades can be removed, and granted to others to carry. However, they are afflicted by the full force of this curse, something that can easily destroy mortals with prolonged exposure. Granting a blade to someone grants them incredible power, but slowly destroys them, mortal or divine. Thusly, Ereshak is reluctant to do this.

The Gorger: Ereshak has the standard array of divine powers, but is notable for her great, ferocious strength and agility. Ereshak is the Ur-Predator, and thus she is quite capable when it comes to murder.

Domains-
The god of winter, Jealousy, greed, and execution.

Aliases- Soul of greed, The executioner of life.

Personality-
The soul of winter and greed is a god that is mostly misunderstood by the other gods and mortals, more accurately his followers, they describe him as a violent and brutal god that shows no mercy. Though truly the god is just lonely and more peaceful and calm (and pretty chill)than the tales and stories about him, being the god of winter and greed doesn’t help his case of people picturing what the god is like, he’s strangely calm and quiet, though he is brave and stoic often standing for others gods, he’s usually extremely lonely and keeps to him set and doesn’t try to involve himself or show interest into god gossip or drama, he’s also pretty boring and not that interesting really, which makes him a tad bit mysterious.

His worshipers and followers are mostly incorrect about him though what they do get right about him is that he is a mature and natural leader who defends his domains with everything he has. He shows no mercy to those who abuse and mistreat his creations and lands and give them the most of brutal punishments. So the word that most accurately describes him is Strict.

Likes-
Cold weather, bears, gambling/wealth, snow.

Dislikes-
Warm/hot weather, cockiness, people who value themselves more than others, cats.

Fears-
Humanity and life ceasing to exist.

Signature powers-

Durability, speed, stamina and Strength-
Veircus has extreme amounts of strength and durability and packs a punch in combat and cold hold his own in fights, able to take more hits from enemies. He also posses the speed and stamina of a god.

Ice/weather manipulation-
Being the god of winter, Veircus can create massive structures and other items with snow/ice and can manipulate the weather to a certain extent as long as the weather is cold.

Mind manipulation-
With the power of greed and jealousy, Veircus can twist and transform mortal minds extremely easily, he can manipulate minor gods, though gods and minor gods are much harder to control and can even manipulate other gods with weaker mindsets and control over them selves , making them commit horrible and intolerable acts. When controlling gods his manipulation lasts 5 minutes.

Summoning-
Veircus can create anything related to snow and his domains.

Execution of matter-
If enemies are in a far range, Viercus can slice through matter closing the range, making the enemies close enough to grab them. (The ability is effective from a 50 meter range.)

Executioner of life-
All surrounding enemies are controlled by greed and controlled by Viercus for 30 seconds, therefore the enemies turn the n each other for 30 seconds until the ability is done having a cool down.

Frostbite-
During combat and fighting scenarios and situations, Veircus creates a frostbite status effect which causes the enemies to slow down their movements immensely.

Sight of death-
Viercus can see how any humans with greedy emotions or humans with jealousy or any humans who are accused of crime or put on trial, die. Though he can not see how gods or Demi-gods die.

Bloodbath-
Once an enemy is weaken and can’t defend themselves he performs a bloody execution, scaring anyone who’s in a 10 meter distance from him. The status lasts 30 seconds.

Infinite Wealth-
Being the god of greed, Viercus has finite amount of wealth and money.

Others-
Viercus is not related to any of the other seasonal gods neither is he a child to any of them, being a ‘pure god’ who was not born from another god.

Symbol-
51F5A97E-3FB1-4BAC-BFC0-14CA6F5E1703.png

Skills-
Having extremely high intelligence. One of the smartest of the gods.

Manipulation

Unarmed combat

Extreme accuracy with knives.

Name: Ghurath

Domains:
Savagery, Monsters, Adaptation

Appearance: Ghurath like all children of Vitis and Gurthu, has a more monstrous beast form and a more humanoid one. Though due to his monstrous nature even his more humanoid form is far from pretty.
Incarnate_Elemental_of_Beasts_Forge_World_illustration-1.jpg
(Monstrous Form)
a04131f059bf5d50f1b468a55c9f0c22-1 (1).jpg
(Humanoid Form)

Personality: Ghurath is primal in the most literal definitions of the word, aggressive, straightforward and simple minded. Taking more after his father Gurthu, Ghurath is blunt and brutal in his words and actions believing that scheming and secrecy are not the way of a monstrous god. He can be described as a apex bully, not respecting those he deems weaker than him though like all predators he understands his place in the godly food chain willing to creep away for the chance of battle another day. He is quite open to threatening and even assaulting gods he deems threats to him and his pack but that doesn't necessarily mean he sides with traditionally evil gods, monsters care not for morals only for strength. Ghurath has a somewhat softer side treating all monsters regardless of creator as his "pack members" treating them like strays, though he does take special care when crafting his own monsters.

In his followers Ghurath rewards self Improvement as proving oneself fitness for survival and climbing up the food-chain are admirable traits to him as a god of adaptation, "Your fangs can always bite deeper" is a common saying for him. He does expect nothing but their personal bet however and the moment that a follower of Ghurath isn't respecting survival of the fittest and becomes lazy or complacent, expect a swift and brutal end. While he is not a god of freedom he does understand it's virtues, traditions mean nothing to a adapting predator. Forge your own path just make sure to dominate all in your way while doing it.

Likes: Being on top, Brawling, Freedom, Strength, Self Worth, Change

Dislikes: His sister, peace, stagnation and manners

Fears: Being seen as weak by his parents

Signature Powers:

Expert Monster Crafting: Ghurath as the god of monsters has the ability to create a nearly inumerable amount of monstrosites of all elemental inclination, however all gods can make monsters with conjuring so Ghurath had to ascend some of his creations. This ability gives him the strength to breed a higher level of Beast. God-Beasts, a unique higher level of monster which have the raw strength to harm gods who underestimate them, these are the highest tier of monsters and the difference between a God-Beast and a normal Monster is like the gap between mortal and god. These GB's roam the realms, all created for various purpose and to slay a God-Beast means earning a permanent boon\blessing from the Beast itself. When Ghurath retreats deep within his breeding pens you can be sure he is cooking up something mighty.

Adaptive Matter: While all gods can transform their physical forms, Ghurath as a god of adaptation takes this to a new level. Capable of changing his godly esscence itself not just his physical form

Built Strong AF: Ghurath is the broadest and bulkiest of his siblings

Other: Will get to later

Name: Rialta

Aliases/Titles: The Blossomer, Lotus, TBA

Domains: Love (Romantic), and Dragons

Appearance: Rialta, colorful and beautiful. Her body is unblemished and shining; she can often be seen adorning herself in flowers. Menacing is one of the last things that can describe Rialta. Her movements come slick and graceful, always careful to avoid destruction of any kind. Her fur and wing's feathers are soft and cozy to the touch, having a relaxing floral smell to it. It is said that, as she flies, her wings form the shape of a heart.

(size reference)
paraceratherium-size.jpg

Personality: Rialta is a benevolent and literally loving God. Unafraid to intrude into anyone's personal space, more or less snuggling up to them, God or mortal alike. Kisses and nuzzling are an everyday aspect of life; even better if it embarrasses whoever she's with! Despite her obtrusive attitude, her kindness to all is apparent. Though she prefers to align herself on the side, she is more than willing to help those in need... though the morality of her motivations can come into question. If there's anything that Rialta—the God of Love—loves, it's a juicy story filled with romance and drama. And, as a God, she notices how nobody else is taking up the task, and so naturally it falls to her: to record life's exciting stories of romance and drama; to turn it into the most expansive romance novel (being within the worlds and realms in existence) ever.

That aside, Rialta cares deeply for mortal races; where would Gods be without them? She will do anything to protect her "cast of characters" from outside interference... even if they weren't hers to begin with! To her, the concept of love is a beautiful thing, able to bud between anything; races, class, status. Without love, she'd go as far as to say the universe wouldn't exist!

Likes:
+ A good story; preferably romance/drama
+ Romance-related gossip
+ Flowers
+ Writing
+ ANGST

Dislikes:
- People meddling in her business
- Bad endings (of stories)
- People giving up

- Conjuring (creation of things with no God controlling it or giving others free access)
- Shapeshifting/Transformation
- Matchmaking; Rialta can make two mortal beings fall in love with each other and develop feelings that never burn out, making for a thrilling romance story! She can even pair someone up with herself
- Able to read the feelings of any mortal and God.
- Rialta's voice is passively soothing and calms those who hear her.

Other:
Rialta is able to transform into 5'3 human woman. This form can have varying details to distinguish herself as different races.
