Realistic or Modern A Slow Invasion - a kind of superpowered rp

Okay! A little nice introduction to get you hooked on this. So this roleplay will feature of group of individuals who were taken in as children by William W. Harrowing, some younger than others, and taught how to use their abilities. Each of them has a single unique ability that, once they were old enough, they used to gain an up in a field of the world. For instance, a woman who can "borrow" personalities might be the greatest actress. A bulletproof man might be the best police or SWAT officer. Whatever it is they are the best at it because of their power. But its unknown to the public.
The goal of this will be revealed by William W. Harrowing (played by me) later on when everyone is settled.

I swear man the internet is dirty. I looked up Fireman without mask and boy let me tell ya i may as well have looked up fireman porn.

But yeah my fire manipulating firefirghter will be named Joseph Schruter. He will be 26. (Hopefully thats an acceptible age.) He uses his ability to manipulate fire to keeo the flames at bay so he can save people, he is impervious to fire, but the debris of a collapsing house still posses a threat. Think of him like pyro from X-men, he cant create fire, but can amplify, reduce, move, and shape existing fire.

Empathic powers are fun especially if your character has control over their own emotional spectrum. You could soothe anxious people by linking with them, and calming them down.

However old you deem them! I want a variety of ages. William would have taken them in whenever. They could have been taken in as babies because they were abandoned or put up for adoption. Or they could have come in at 12 or 17 or whatever age you think is best.

Because i had an idea for a girl with a particular energy manipulation power who basically works as a Private asset for the U.S military. She will be powerful, but really cool and controlled so she wont be a danger to the plot.
