Imagine a world of Might and Magic. Imagine that the world was in a golden age of peace. That world, the locals call Pandemonium.

A fantasy world in which all things fantasy exist, Pandemonium functions unlike any other. Instead of taking over the world, Dungeons have become franchises. Anyone may become a Dungeon Master, just as anyone can become an Adventurer. But... can you handle the pressure?

~~

Please see the Interest thread for a more in-depth explanation behind the RP. I will transition it into a more refined Lore page soon.
This thread will function both as a CS thread, and as the initial OOC thread. I may separate them if need be later on.

Character Sheet. (Please note, to avoid people spamming Dungeon Masters, and having no-one playing any Sentient Monsters, I am requiring anyone who makes a Dungeon Master create a Sentient "Monster" as well. In compensation for this, since I normally limit people to only two active characters at once at first, people who make Dungeon Masters won't have the Sentient Monster count for that mark. But only if they plan on making an Adventurer as well. The Sentient Monster they create does not need to work for their Dungeon Master. They can, but they don't have to.)

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Sexuality: (Please use the proper terms, no 'slang.' that is if "Straight" then please put "Heterosexual" if "Gay/Lesbian" then put "Homosexual" so-on and so forth.)
Species of Origin:
Occupation: (Can be anything from Adventurer/Dungeon Master, to Sentient Monster, to Farmer to Blacksmith. Simply put, what is your role in this world? If a Sentient Monster, then Occupation is their race plus their job. Please note, when I say anyone may become a Dungeon Master, I mean ANYONE. There are Sentient Monster run dungeons out there.)
Rank: (This functions differently depending on what the occupation is. And only matters for Adventurers, Dungeon Masters, and Sentient Monster characters. For Adventurers, it counts towards the highest dungeon they've "Completed" that is, escaped from without 'dying.' For Dungeon Masters, it represents the Rank of their highest Dungeon. For Sentient Monsters, it represents the dungeon rank that you would MOST LIKELY see them in. As well, the usual ranks go from D up to S-Rank. That is, D-Rank is the lowest, and is what all starting dungeons and Adventurers use, with S-Rank being the highest possible rank for most people. It is usually only those who had either lived for a VERY long time, or have some sort of Divine Blessing, that excede S-Rank into SS and SSS+ Ranks. Though they are excedingly rare.)
*Number of Owned Dungeons: (Delete this line if the character is not a Dungeon Master.)
*Number of Completed Dungeons: (Delete this line if the character is not an Adventurer.)
Background: (can be as simple, or as detailed as you want. Completely optional.)
Looks: (Can be worded description or an image. Please note, if an image some sort of drawn/anime image is preferred. This is due to both the fantasy setting, and my personal preference of being weirded out by live-action "Face-claims." I won't deny a character simply because you used one, they just weird me out.)

Name: The Hooded One
Age: Unknown, but at least 15,000
Gender: Presumed Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Species of Origin: Incubus
Occupation: Incubus Dungeon Master, Head of the Dungeon Master's Association
Rank: SSS+
*Number of Owned Dungeons: Exact number is unrecorded, but he 'owns' all 1200 of the Dungeon Master Association Office Dungeons, Including the Central branch in the Metropolis city of Loth, where each year, once a year on the night of the Harvest Moon, the longest night of the year, he gathers all Dungeon Masters, to celebrate one more peaceful year.
Background: It is not exactly known where The Hooded One came from, or when he was born, but it has been recorded that he was around when the initial signing of the peace treaty between Adventurers and Devils took place. As such, he is lauded as the oldest known still living being in the known world.

Name: Kureha
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species of Origin: Kitsune Tenko-Kitsune
Occupation: Wandering Kitsune (Tenko)
Rank: B SS
Background: A young Kitsune who wanders the countrysides of the world, looking for a good place to put her nest.
Looks:

Name: Jason Riviera
Age: 8
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual currently (He is a prepubescent child, after all.)

Species of Origin: Vixen
(A small population of creatures who would be human if it weren't for their ears, teeth and tail(s). They started off in two branches, those who were created when wizards used an 'Awaken' spell on their fox familiars and those who were wild foxes that rapidly changed because of human magic. They are usually about as short as Halflings due to the small size of foxes relative to other canines (adults being 4'2"-5'6"), have any hair colour of foxes, fox ears and 1-3 bushy tails. Societally, Vixen, due to their innate cuteness, were often taken as servants or glorified pets and aren't really that high on the racial ladder.
Some confuse Vixen with Kitsune, another humanoid race with similar features. The link is obvious but the actual relation between the races is foggier. Vixen are obviously shorter, but the differences seem, on the surface at least, to end there. The actual differences are in magic (if magical at all, Vixen are more inclined towards shadow/frost magic whereas Kitsune can vary wildly) and origin (Vixen were all created, either directly or from mana leakage, by the Awakening experiment and resulting breeding, half of the time with other races, and Kitsune are a much older race whose origins are a source of ongoing debate.)
Fun Fact - The number of tails a Vixen has out of 3 is an indicator of how much they actually are genetically Vixen. As to Kitsune, where that indicates strength. (3 = 3/3-2/3, 2=2/3-1/3, 1=<1/3.) Vixens with one tail are often called 'pet foxes' by other Vixen because of their plausible genetic link to their masters. This is also a general slur for the race as a whole.)

Occupation: Sentient Monster (Dungeon 'Mascot' Vixen)
Rank: C (He's not that strong a monster and the dungeon he lives/works in is okay at best.)

Background: Born a servant into a Noble household, he was traded to a popular adventurer family as a wager for a bet. Jason didn't have that hard a time in his (earlier) youth, learning quickly how to utilise his small size and innocent appearance to make himself either unseen or an ally. He was trained by one of the family members as a rogue but surprisingly never got to join the guild, not officially anyway, and eventually ended up 'employed' by a DM. He specialises in: posing as a lost child/deserting monster, infiltrating entering parties to either steal mana/loot or backstab them or simply remaining unseen and 'observing' adventurers. His home dungeon is one of those 'good old days' dungeons simply meant to be a challenge/provide an interesting adventure for newer parties.

Looks:
53115.jpg
Jason is a small, lithe boy standing at 3'3" and 38kg, with snow-white hair, green eyes with a mighty shine, cream-hued skin, two short vulpine ears and one bushy, fluffy fox tail. All of his features accentuate cuteness, a trait that makes him often the mascot of whatever group that he's in, a role and appearance that is sometimes annoying but accepted. Jason's 'work' outfit is a modified version of the standard rogue gear. With cloth clothes, treated leather pieces on his chest, legs, knees, forearms and elbows, a mint-green hooded cloak and two shortswords (more like normal-sized daggers) which he dual-wields to help with his shadow/crystal powers as a focused.

Powers/Abilities: Jason is similar in mundane abilities to a Level 3 Rogue Thief (with a weakened Sneak Attack) and similar in magical power to a... weak to moderately-powerful sorcerer.
He can do various things with low-power shadow magic, mainly draining light from a room and creating Small-Medium (size category) weak constructs/animals out of shadow material capable of following basic commands.
He also able to create small amounts (50cm² at once) of any type of crystal that he has seen and touched before and shape it into anything he wants, even a 'shell' for his constructs.

Random Information:
- Some of Jason's 'colleagues' (other monsters) have taught him conversational Draconic/Infernal and he knows sign language from his time in his first family as a companion to his master's deaf child.

Hope that this is good enough for my first!

Works for me, though maybe try and explain how "Vixen" relates to Kitsune, another human/fox race.

Might've gone bit overboard there...

Nah, that works well for me. Welcome aboard. Just a note on Kitsune, it also reflects how old a kitsune is. The more tails, the older it is, generally with a Nine-Tailed (Also known as a Tenko) usually being more than 1,000 years old. Usually.

Either way, I'll have the IC thread up soon, so hopefully, more people will properly join. At that time.

Sorry for the delay, I'm working all Saturday and Sunday. Will start on my thing asap!

It's fine. Take your time. We still need someone to at least do an Adventurer, so there's at least one character on both sides.

Name: René d'Argent
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species of Origin: Half-Dragon (Half Human/Half White or Silver Dragon.)
(Once again, In feel I must specify the difference twixt (between) Half-Dragons and Dragonborn. Half-Dragons are exactly what the name implies, hybrids between Dragons (usually Mettalics but not always) and other races (usually humans but not always). Half-Dragons appear more humanoid, simply with draconic scale patches, legs, horns and tails (and sometimes even wings), the colours of which are determined by their parent. They are often taller than their non-dragon parent on average, with half-humans being 5'4-6'10 for females and 5'9"-7'5" for males. They can exhale beams of their parent's element, resist it and tend towards magic of that element.
Dragonborns can come from various origins, but actually being 'born of dragons' is very rare. Dragonborn also more resemble anthropomorphic dragons and don't often bear tails/wings.)

Occupation: Magic Weapon Smith Apprentice for the Adventurer's Guild turned Spellsword/Sorcerer adventurer.
Rank: C (Still a newbie and barely 'completed' a higher 'C' dungeon.
Number of Completed Dungeons: 3 (2 D-Rank, 1 C-Rank)

Background: Raised by her human mother and occasionally interacted with by her polymorphed draconic father, René lived a decently normal life. In the big human cities, most people tend to be accepting or indifferent. Always one of the talle/stronger girls and gifted in practical work since she could hold a hammer, blacksmithing seemed like the best career to make out of that. René found herself as an apprentice in the Adventurer's guild, learning to make magical weapons, and eventually passed her qualification, but she wanted to see what adventuring was like before she took the job.

Looks: René is a 6'8" half-dragon girl with a toned, built physique that makes her an imposing figure, despite her calm, caring personality. With steel-grey eyes and naturally grey hair, René tends to look older than she is. She has scale patches on the sides of her neck, her chest, her forearms and her knees as well as draconic wings (cannot fly (yet)), fully draconic lower legs and a 3' long, prehensile tail. Her head is adorned with a set of four horns on her upper foreapronframed by her hair and her scales are a marbled colour between white and silver.
René will most often be seen wearing standard fighter gear (leather tunic/trousers and armour) with a reinforced blacksmith's apron and lighter metal armour everywhere that her scales aren't. She wields a Warhammer enchanted to deal frost damage (her draconic element), this was her first successful magic weapon.

Powers/Abilities: René has melee combat skills similar to a Level 3-5 Fighter and a small selection of weak-moderately powerful ice evocation spells. She also has an ice breath attack.

Sorry, I couldn't get to enter here. This week was really, really busy, work and personal. I don't wanna make you guys wait, since I don't know when I'll have free time to dedicate, so I think I'll drop out. Sorry :(

That's fine, just know the RP will always be open for people to join if you ever feel up to coming back.
