Fandom A Pokemon Journey


You grit your teeth as you see Squirtle struggling. In a moment like this, the bond between player and pokemon is at its utmost importance. If you gave up, it would also give up. "Get up Squirtle! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!" Your fiercesome yell blasted across the battlefield and Squirtle heard it. The water type's eyes became determined and it hopped up on to its feet. Coal and Charmander were both surprised to see Squirtle standing up as the dust cleared. But, Coal quickly hid it. 'Charmander finish it with another round of Ember!' You were ready for anything though and quickly motioned to Squirtle. "Dodge Squirtle and hit him full power with TACKLE!" You couldn't help but hold your breath as the balls of fire flew towards your pokemon though. It looked like it would hit until the last moment where Squirtle moved out of the way just in time and hurtled for Charmander.

"Dodge it Charmander quick!" Coal yelled. Charmander tried to dodged but it suddenly couldn't move. It tried to move again and failed again. "WATCH OUT!" Coal yelled desperately right before Squirtle slammed into Charmander and sent it flying through the air. It crashed in front of Coal with dizzy eyes.

"It's over! Coal's Charmander is unable to battle! The winner is Moulder and his Squirtle!" Gary yelled with glee. He hadn't seen a battle like this in years.

You stood there in silence for a few moments disbelieving. It wasn't until something nudged your leg that you looked down and saw your Squirtle looking up at you with teary, devoted eyes. A grin spread across your face and you chuckled. You swooped down and picked up your pokemon before laughing and cheering. "We did it, Squirtle! We did it!"

However, your moment of celebration didn't last that long as suddenly an explosion ricocheted from the lab. You, Gary, and Coal all swung to face the building. There was a large whole blown through the side and standing within the dust was a kid around your age. He had a slight smirk on his face as he looked at you all. You looked at his shirt and it had a large, red 'R' on the front. "Sorry to interrupt your celebrating suckers. But, i've just gotten myself my first pokemon." The boy held up a familiar pokeball with a small, green metal leaf crest on the front.

"Bulbasaur!" Gary gasped then turned angry. "Give it back!"

"Sorry gramps can't do that!" The Team Rocket Kid said tauntingly. "What is it you used to say back in the day, Gary? Oh yeah..." He said as if he was suddenly struck by a memory. "Smell ya later!"

The kid threw some pellets on to the ground. The sound of a motorcycle revving was heard before the Team Rocket member burst out of the smoke on a Team Rocket Issue Motorcycle. Without further ado, he sped off. You were all at a loss for what to do before Coal watched after the kid determinedly. "Don't worry Uncle Gary." Coal said reassuringly. "I'll get your Bulbasaur back." Then, Coal ran off without anymore words after returning Charmander to its ball.

What do you do?
(A) Chase after Coal to help him try to track down the Rocket Kid
(B) Check on Gary
(C) Head out on your journey because you don't know what else to do
