biography:
bio: Jocelyn and her twin brother Nicholas were born two months before they were due, while their parents were on holiday in Paris, France. Though it came as a big surprise for Neville and Hannah Longbottom they were overjoyed to see their children for the first time. They stayed for another month and returned back to England. Around Jocelyn's second birthday she began to show signs of being a witch and Neville was quite pleased with this as he himself hadn't presented until he was almost ready to go to Hogwarts. Her childhood was pretty normal until she was eight years old then everything changed.

When she was eight years old, she and her brother were playing outside just after dark and the moon had risin and werewolf came seemingly out of nowhere and attacked the two children. Her brother had taken off running as soon as he spotted the wolf to get their mother and father,and escaped the attack with nothing more than a long scar on his right arm. Jocelyn was not so luck and had taken the brunt of the attack and was rushed to saint mungos where the healers told her mother and father that she had been bitten and would most likely die. But she didn't die and has had to live with becoming a werewolf every month on the full moon.

He received his first letter at 11 years old like all to be witches and wizards, a young lad living out on some nowhere farm with little to do but work and learn the best he could, finding joy from music and writing. Asking questions about his family and getting answers that ranged toward the ends greatly when involving his parents though he was assured they died a tragic but accidental death to which only begged for more questions.

The most he was told about and learned was that of his great uncle Alastor Moody, the famed auror who died in the last war. The stories and reputation of the man both fascinated him and inspired him. Instilling within him a even greater sense of pride in his name then was already there. HISTORY
bio: Nic actually thought she was normal as neither of her parents which she knew adopted her were wizards and well magic wasn't real until the letters started and visits from witches started. The family would be told of the secret world of magic and that Nic was actually a witch, though the visitor couldn't tell them what family of witches she might be a part of Nic was curious to find out. still she didn't make a rift with her mom and dad they had crossed that bridge long ago and Nic just wanted to find family history having no interest in finding her birth parents. Either way the muggle family managed to get things set up though something odd happened when she got her wand the man that sold them ollivander, talked about how the wand that had picked her was and odd one, very few were made like it and with good reason, though he didn't elaborate beyond the last one like it he sold did great things perhaps she would as well. personality: A clever, sweet bubbly girl with a gregarious humorous manner seems to welcome anyone to be at ease and open with her. She's willing to help anyone who asks for it and seems patient with those who mock her for her giant blood, seemingly letting nothing bring her down. She is one to keep her feelings bottled up and rarely ask for help though quick to give. Though not a lot can trigger her anger, her giants heritage makes her quite dangerous and uncontrollable when pushed so far like a friend being threatened. At such moments of rage it a select few things or people can calm her.

HISTORY
bio: Her parents unknown, she was found abandoned in the remains of a giant clan home by aurores investigating one of the rare few sighting of giants since the end of Voldermort. She was brought back to the Ministry where her fate was decided. It was nearly put down if not for the interjection of the current Hogwarts headmaster who took her into the keeping of the school. She was handed to Hagrid to raise who took her as his own immediately becoming her doting adopting father.

Hagrid though loving and well-intentioned was not the safest of parents at first. One incident of many was iving the infant Gary in the care of his recent brood of blast ended scrutzs with only her own giant blood and quick intervention from a passing teacher preventing any serious harm from occurring. It came to the point that Harry would be taken away from Hagrid if not from Hagrid's impassioned pleading. Hagrid's parenting improved since and Harry grew to be her fathers daughter in many ways.

She was a curious child learning what she could from teachers who came to see Hagrid and her until she joined the school properly at age eleven. This meant to the surprise of many she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Her half giant status meant she was occasionally picked on and her qualifications to be a Ravenclaw was questioned, but she proved herself capable. She even won popularity when she joined the Ravenclaw team as a chaser on her second year and proving a capable player. Though had to give it up on her fifth year when she became too big and heavy for the broom leaving her depressed for most of the year.

In the last couple of years she had become helping her aging father more and more with his duties. The eve of this year she discovered that it was not age that was slowing Hagrid down. A serious illness had taken him.

Rowan was thankfully raised much differently then his father. When anyone would try and spoil Rowan, Dudley would put a stop to it. He wanted Rowan to grow up better than he did, he wanted him to actually appreciate what he had or was given. This worked a little too well as he now sends out thank you notes for even the littlest of things. He enjoys being around his friends and family, doesn’t judge anyone based on anything other than their character and often has a witty insult for any bully caught picking on family or friends of his. HISTORY
Bio:
The end of the Second Wizarding War brought many large changes throughout the magical world and some small changes in some muggle lives. Vernon’s behavior on the last day that Harry would live with them, snapped something awake in Petunia. While Vernon pitched a fit and wanted to stay in “his home that he paid for” and he “certainly would not let those weirdos chase him out of it”. Petunia packed a bag for her and a bag for Dudders and they were out of there. They spent a week in a hotel and then they moved in to a nice apartment. Petunia was not going to live with such a toxic and controlling jerk any longer and she was hoping that it was not to late to stop her Dudders from turning out like his father. It would have been if not for therapy.

When Dudley started university he reached out to Harry so he could apologize and thank him again for what he had done. He was happy when Harry wanted to meet up and chat and while they would never have been the best of friends, they at least spoke often, sent holiday cards and attended one another's birthdays and other occasions. It was at a birthday party for Ginny that he met Helen.

Helen was very sweet and down to earth and the big things for Dudley were that she wasn't from England and there for didn't hear the rumors and stories about the cousin of the Boy Who Lived and how dreadful it must be to have been related to such a hateful boy. Somehow rumors of the way the Dursley's treated Harry circulated the wizarding world and made Dudley an outcast most places he went. He didn't expect much else as he and his family did treat the savior of the wizarding world much worse then a prisoner of war. Helen was blissfully unaware of any of that and was actually interested in Dudley. At first both expected it to be a vacation fling but it turned into much more when Helen was offered a permanent position at St Mungo's.

Rowan was born while the young couple was visiting Helen's parents in Yarmonth, NS, Canada. Helen grew up there and wanted Dudley to meet some of her family that couldn't make it for their wedding. Rowan was born in the Canadian version of St Mungo's, both mother and baby did splendidly, father however had fainted. When they returned to London they were swarmed by Petunia who just needed to see her little sapling. While Rowan was growing up it took some stern lectures from Dudley so Rowan wouldn't be taught the same things Dudley was from Petunia, but it worked. Rowan was raised the way any respectful young man should be and Petunia saw the difference between father and son immediately. Rowan was smart, bright and got a long with most of his school mates.

While it made itself known when Rowan was small that he would be a wizard, Dudley and Petunia never said a word or treated him differently. They would talk to him the best they could about it, often they let Helen handle those questions but Dudley would tell him stories about what it was like growing up with Harry Potter, at least the version he wished would have happened. Since he and Harry where on okay terms and Helen and Ginny seemed to be good pals, their kids hung out from time to time. Rowan enjoyed the time he spent with his Potter cousins and the Weasley's. Other then a few bursts of magic here and there as he grew, his childhood was rather boring.

When it came time for his magical education to start they were a bit alarmed to find out that Rowan was selected to attend Hogwarts. They thought he would have been selected to attend Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States of America as his mother had. The prospect of Hogwarts made Helen and Dudley happier as it would be closer to them and he would not have to try and navigate America. It was no surprise when he was sorted into Ravenclaw, it actually would have been surprising had he not been sorted into the house. He often thought it might be fun to be a Gryffindor like some of his cousins but that was just a day dream he had, he would never want to be in any other house.
