Magical Squid Senpai

A big mistake

Welcome to the house of Rose. A place shrouded in mystery and magic that has haunted the town for many years.
The home has stood strong in the middle of the woods acting as a sanctuary for many young Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, and even Fairies. Anything that humans fears.
These little monsters may have been shunned, threatened or taken away from their homes. They will then begin to notice the little messages on the trees. Guiding them to a safe place.
Somewhere far away from the angry mobs and glares.
To be welcomed into the Rose family until they feel they are ready to leave.

It is currently October 19, 6:30 p.m.
The air is crisp and cool, the leaves crunch under your feet, and the sun slowly setting has the sky painted yellow.
The gang has just finished their dinner and is now doing whatever they please.
Mama Rose is down in her lab, expecting to work until midnight once more.
What is it that her little ones could be doing now?

-------------------------

A human-like Trouble found himself quietly wandering outside of the dining room with a relatively full stomach, his mind feeling numb due to all of the contemplation he'd been doing when he was eating-- somewhat uncharacteristically of him, save for the fact that the werewolf often got quiet when thinking about things he shouldn't do. Of course, sometimes he'd simply do things he wasn't supposed to on a whim with so little as a single doubt about what he was doing, but what he was pondering about at the table was completely different and unacceptable by any standards, including the uncomfortably stretched ones that Rose had established for the red haired werewolf. Naturally, Trouble was thinking about all the places that he wasn't allowed to travel- despite his own established boundaries for wandering being relatively larger than the ones Mama Rose had emphasised to her 'children'. Specifically, he was thinking about that swamp. Now a swamp wasn't exactly a place for a wolf, but what it WAS suitable for was an individual with the strong need to wander. Personally he didn't mind the thought of having his fur bogged up, but what he did mind was the fact that the crows stood watch on the decrepit branches of the dead trees at all times. He could recall each time he stepped even a single paw into the murky depths of the edge of the swamp's water, he'd glance at the crows and see them staring at him with keen, watching eyes. They were like security cameras. Extremely annoying security cameras. Always, they'd lean forwards with caution, with their sleek beaks just so slightly opened, almost looking as if they'd start to squawk and squabble even without Trouble hurrying off into the swamp.

By the time Trouble realised there wasn't a single thing he could do to sneak into the depths of the forbidden swamp, he was stood by the base of the stairs, which almost seemed endless. He let out a hesitant sigh of defeat- his own wits unable to secure him even the courage to simply run off. Perhaps if it was a full moon he'd have the courage to run off-- but then again, given the countless moons he'd stood under that'd given him enhanced skill and courage, something kept him from breaking the rules. He couldn't tell if it was the fact that it'd worry Rose, or the fact she'd probably turn him into a nice furry rug if he scurried off into the depths. Probably the latter, Trouble believed. Werewolves often did as they pleased, but Rose's reaction to him slinking away almost made him shudder. Perhaps it'd be best to think of other ways to entertain himself rather than possibly get himself killed.

Trouble then turned his attention to the other monsters leaving the dining room with his hands in his pockets. Given he hadn't been ravenously scoffing down his food as a wolf or humanoid wolf and rather eating quietly whilst avoiding eye-contact with anyone, he'd figure that someone may comment on it. Perhaps someone like Pandora would approach him and make a remark regarding it. It'd be an easy conversation starter, but if it never happened then he'd just need to approach someone he didn't hate and hope that the conversation got somewhere. Preferably to the point where the both of them were doing something fun. His best bet would be on Pandora, a girl who actually knew what 'fun' was. His boredom would certainly be sated if she felt like pulling pranks on people, as he'd likely join in on the fray in order to suppress the urge to start wandering and get growled at by Rose for venturing further than his already swollen boundaries.

Location: Outside of Rose's house.

Aznethon found this morning's dinner rather dull tasting but complaining about the food's taste would be uncharacteristically hypocritical of him so instead of focusing on the mediocre dinner, he turned his mind's attention to that large rock which he found yesterday and pondered what to sculpt out of it. An animal, perhaps? No, his last sculpture was an animal this one had to be special but what he thought, why should it also be special, it felt like he was forgetting something. Before Aznethon continued his pondering, he realized that leaving the dinning room and getting a breath of fresh air could help him remember. So, he rose from his large seat in the dinning room then left the room, all the while taking great care not to push anyone over with his ginormous size. Sometime ago, the bone-white giant felt at times constrained by his own carefulness, having to constantly worry about where he was and how he moved just so others wouldn't get hurt was taxing on the mind however as time past, Aznethon stopped seeing this like limit but a challenge to overcome, this single change of perspective drastically improved his overall attitude.

In the present, Aznethon had just stepped out of the dinning room, the first thing that came to view was Trouble, that troublesome werewolf mutt. It looks like Trouble is trying to find someone to have a conversation with, in Aznethon's eyes this meant trouble because some manner of trickery was gonna happen and it didn't help that he was unusually quiet during dinner. Whatever mischief he was plotting had better not destroy the sculpture Aznethon was going to make because if it does then not even the full moon's blessing would save the wolf's spine. Anyway, Aznethon decided to quickly vacate the house before the mutt had the idea to speak with him.

On the outside, Aznethon's stone chisel rested against the outer wall near the door. The chisel was given as a gift to Aznethon from Rose, he thanked her immensely for it. When he picked up the chisel, the young sculptor remembered why this sculpture should be special, this year was his fifth year in the witch's house so why not give a gift to her. The giant walked to the side of the house where he had left the large stone. He sat down with his lengthy legs extended, stone sitting between them and his back against the wall. Before the sculpting started, Aznethon looked towards the morning sky then closed his eyes. In his mind, echoed his father's teaching about sculpting. Aznethon exhaled, opened his eyes and began to sculpt the rock.

Liam had gathered copious amounts of blankets on his first day here and shoved them all at the bottom of his closet where he often stayed sleeping in the warm and soft fuzzy mass. He wanted to meet everyone but he was too shy due to fearing that everyone would view him as a freak, despite the fact they were all like he was. He stayed cooped up in the closet the past few days but after dinner Mama Rose asked him to try and get to know some of the others, to which he agreed but his shy nature made it hard for him to approach others. After bundling up in coats and a special tail shoe/coat thing he slithered outside and timidly looked at the others from within the bushes. He tried to approach him but his anxiety wouldn't let him causing him to just stay back.
What if they don't like me? What if things go just like they did back home? What if I get kicked out if I don't get along with them? Will I be alone forever? Will anyone ever love me? He couldn't help but think to himself as he stays frozen in the bushes, his body starting to cool off due to the winter air and lack of activity. He curled up in a pile for warmth hoping someone would find him and make friends with him, maybe even a cute girl... but that was too much to hope for, especially with how things had gone in the past. He burried his head under his tail and tried to hide his anguish, fear, and anxiety.

The only hints to Leshi's arrival were the thumps of hoofbeats on the ground and the deafening roar that scraped her throat as it arose, a mix between anguish and exhaustion.
The pained, pitiful beast slowly sunk to its side, crying out weakly as it laid. And as suddenly as the horrid demon had appeared from the darkness of the woods beyond, it vanished. Leaving in its wake the small, crippled figure of a young girl. She bore a humanoid figure, with the only strange, monster-like giveaways being her ears, horns, and tail. She laid panting on the ground, small smears of blood on her tattered and worn clothing. Finally, some relief. A place to rest. Her body ached and pleaded to slip into the blackness that surrounded her, especially in this small form she had retracted into. It seemed that she had been in some sort of chase, fleeing whatever horrid monster that had caused her, one such monster herself, to run blindly and wildly. The ground still vibrated from the entrance she had made, deep prints born from hoofbeats and branches rattled from her screams. Now whoever was here knew that yet another foul beast was in their midst, and that the question now was to kill or to shelter.

Liam looks up from his moping to see a giant demonic thing running towards the house, causing him to slither away in abject horror. However once the thumping behind him stops he returns to find a cowgirl laying down in the dirt. Did that thing run her over? If so where did it go? Could she be it? But she was so cute, how could she be that thing? Liam shook off the thoughts and poked her with his tail to see if she was going to jump up at him. Upon being relieved that she didn't he got up next to her and picked her up. He carried her inside and slithered up to his closest. She wasn't feeling well so she needed fluffy comfort! He laid her down amidst his pile of blankets while wrapping himself around the other half of the blankets. Hopefully she would be his friend when she woke up.

It took a while before Leshi came to. And when she did, she sat upright with her bones making a truly unholy CRACK! Her limbs twisted and churned at what seemed like impossible angles as her eyes began to focus around the room. The urge to shift flooded through her as she realized that she had been taken inside. Though.. This is what she had hoped for, right? Some sort of safety. Finally, her gaze was able to land on a figure placed all too close to her. Her eyes remained glossy and her expression neutral as the entirety of her body snapped over to view the other. Seemingly without the use of her skeletal properties, the girl stood to her feet in an almost robotic position. She simply stood still, color slowly beginning to pulse away from her as she shed her typical humanoid form and reverted to her defensive appearance. Her horns grew and curled out ever so slightly, ears now flapping down at her neck. Her pupils merged closer to slits and she seems to grow in size slightly as her skin took on a sickly gray, her eyes a vibrant red, and her hair a deep black. It was more of a knee-jerk reaction if anything, something to release when she felt that she had been threatened. And continuing to study her whereabouts, she spoke with an echoing, hollow tone.

"Sorry, but I can't go back out there!" She allowed a smile to come across her face, approaching the other. "I have no idea where I am, but I'm sure you've heard of me or something adjacent. My name is Cerbaileshy, and I'll be staying here for the time being."

Upon seeing her change and all those horrid sounds Liam retreated under the blankets with only his eyes being visible. "I-I've never heard of you..." he timidly replies from under the blankets. "I-I'm Liam, I brought you to my room..." He says as he warily sticks his head out from underneath the pile. "Y-You can stay... w-would you be my friend?" He asks, his expression somewhat fearful but a glimmer of hopefulness can be seen within his eyes at he looks at Leshi. His thoughts racing with the usual self doubt, fear of rejection, and despair but that glimmer of hope still remained within the silence. If she never responded she never said no, but he knew that hope only lasted so long so he clung to it while he waited for her to respond. In his nervous, fearful, and excited state of mind he couldn't help but writhe underneath the blankets causing them to shift beneath Lethi.

near to rose's house, there was an incredibly large spiders web, a few animals were caught in the strands and weaves of the surprisingly intricate trap, in the center there was something that seemed like a half-human until you realized that their bottom half was very much that of a spider a massive spider at that. this was archin, who for the moment was happily sleeping until the strange noise from the forest work the attentive hunter up, his six eyes opening up as he lashed out claw-like fingers and fang-filled jaws. before he stopped realizing nothing had actually hit him or anything "what the?" peaking out for the web he saw some weird cow thing? maybe a demon? oh and there was that laima boy.. his name was Liam right? yeah... watching for his perch he saw Liam take the demon thing inside the house and well curiosity got the better of the arachia, deciding to climb down from his web to follow behind quietly and at some distance so he didn't disturb. he waited for a moment to see what would happen next, in the end, he got bored wandering off in the house not being able to go back to sleep. he was about to leave when he saw that werewolf boy, tapping, trouble on the shoulder. "hey how are you doing?"

As the young mermaid walked out of the dining room, she stretched her arms out and muttering to herself "Gosh, I'm pooped! Who knew tomatoes grew past the flower part? Coz I sure didn't." Sophia pondered on whether she should go to bed or not, deciding to check her notes for today she discovered that the vegetable patch still hasn't been checked. What possible atrocities could be occurring at the sacred land? "How could I forget that, it’s like the most exciting part of the day!" She exclaimed as an excited smile grew. Sophia skipped past everything else happening around her and headed for the door, the vegetable patch awaits!

When Sophia stepped outside, she was greeted by a cool breeze, blowing through the hair on her legs. Still amazed by the invention of legs, named after Walter Leggings don't you know, she giggled to herself before continuing to make her way to the vegetable patch. However, her adventure stopped when she noticed maybe the coolest looking legs all day! Sophia's eyes grew at the sight of these magnificent legs, her body automatically forcing her to walk closer to the owner of these legs. And that cool leg owner was Aznethon! Who Sophia has barely spoken to at this point.

As Sophia stepped closer and closer to the giant, the sound of chiselling grew louder and louder. Upon being beside the sitting giant, Sophia peeked over his shoulder at his work "
Oh cool! what you making? Is it cool? I bet its cool!" She asked, watching as the giant chiselled lumps away at the stone.

-------------------------

Whilst he was stood vacantly by the stairs, almost vacantly staring off into the wall before him as if he were in a trance, he took note of Aznethon lumbering his way out of the dining room. He'd also noticed that the giant had taken a glance at him but hurried away somewhere else- something that people often did around Trouble when he was scheming or thinking. Honestly, he couldn't blame them. Some of the things he'd done in the past was pretty malicious even by his own low standards, but that was to be expected from any werewolf. Any werewolf that didn't have wild tendencies or any mischievous ideas would be more like a were-dog of sorts. Naturally Trouble did his best to make sure that everyone that lived in this household knew he wasn't, in any sense at all, tame- save for when he was ill, of course. He'd be curled up in bed without eating, without wandering, and without any of the inhabitants of Rose's humble house worrying of having their valuables gnawed on, missing or straight up being insulted. Trouble would be completely quiet, his yap shut. Similar to how he was now, minus the illness. The only difference between Trouble being silent while ill and silent in general was the fact that the latter was simply the calm before a storm. A terrible, terrible storm. It'd only be a storm that'd come if Trouble had someone to confide his mishaps to and said someone being similarly devious as him, or similarly bored. Luckily for everyone in the household however, Trouble wasn't having much luck in finding anyone with a relatively similar knack for mayhem at the very moment. As of now, the very worst thing Trouble could keep doing was just stand still and contemplate, and wait. Perhaps that wasn't a bad thing, except for Trouble.

Luckily for him- and perhaps unluckily for anyone within Trouble's massive radius of effect when it came to chaos- someone tapped the red haired werewolf on his shoulder. His piercing yellow eyes widened in mild surprise at the sensation, as not many people often got close enough to him to touch him (and most not wanting to even interact with him, of course). One of his ears flickered back to face whoever had meekly tapped at his shoulder, as if waiting for them to make a remark. Naturally there was speech following almost immediately after, and Trouble immediately recognised who it came from. It took a moment for him to slip his hands into his pockets to turn around, all for his eyes to lay on a spider's body. They quickly trailed up the spindly black legs, before they laid eyes on the very person that he'd pinned that voice to. Archin, of course. He'd come to Rose's house recently to seek refuge- as everyone had here- and Trouble reckoned that the young Archin was a relatively interesting character, unlike most people Trouble here had deemed. Most were boring. Rule-abiding individuals that had no sense of fun or adventure. He'd remember people telling him not to dare venture out of the boundaries Rose had established for everyone. He'd also remember the doubtful look he'd give them that'd immediately tell them that they were naive in thinking that they could reason with a werewolf.

"Ah. Archin." Started Trouble, his ears perked forwards in renewed attention. Despite not knowing him very much, the werewolf reckoned that Arch had the potential to be a real riot. The wolf grinned a little bit in a mild relief that he'd have something to do, rather than nothing.

"I'm bored. Bored as hell." He explained, his grin quickly fading away after he remarked on the lack of entertainment he found himself with. One of his pale hands rose up and gently scratched his cheek. Naturally Trouble wanted to immediately jump to conclusions and ask wether or not Archin wanted to get up to some mischief, but given the kid had only been here for a short time, there was a part of the werewolf that wanted to make sure the spider was adapting to his environment well. Even though Trouble got to the point that he'd become so comfortable with his surroundings that he recklessly ventured past places he was allowed, he remembered struggling to adjust to his surroundings. No wolf parents to wander with. No massive, open fields, hills or wondrous forests that weren't enchanted or laced with annoying avian cameras. He still felt like he was missing these things despite having barely grown up with them, but regardless, Rose tried to fill his needs when he first came around.

"But besides that, you doing good? Given you're making webs you'd probably feel a little more at home now, surely."

The gentle giant paused his sculpting when Sophia spoke to him, a recent arrival who was a mermaid. Aznethon admits that he hasn't had much interactions with the little fish, although at least her current positivity freshened up his morning hopefully the cheerfulness didn't go overboard, that was one thing Aznethon dreaded and hated. Putting the chisel down next to him then lifting up his work like an artisan inspecting his early progress. Laying the unfinished work in front of Sophia, the pale giant's crimson eyes met with the mermaid's."Stadue" The giant's booming voice clearly meant to say statue however due to a giant's developmental cycle, the voice box was always the last to form so his words always came out deformed and perhaps rough."Of Rause" The statue's head resembled Rose's down to the most minute detail except the hair's length ended up being shorter than the genuine article which disgruntled Aznethon.

But the fault in the design wasn't because of his carelessness -- something with hoofs and an annoyingly loud, blood curdling roar, surprised him as the finishing touches to the head were being made which in turn caused the mistake to occur."Leaud hoofs... rauring." The giant forcefully exhaled, his massive lungs delivering quite a gust. He lifted up his hand and clenched into a fist."A nu mownstr haz arreived." Aznethon feelings were very unambiguous, the rage of a thousand suns burned in his heart however one would be mistaken to try and find that rage in his words.

Kythios sat at the dinner table, slowly finishing off his meal. It took some time longer for him, as he would sometimes completely miss the food with his fork, but nonetheless, he finished. He hadn’t realized it for a few minutes as he poked at the plate until someone was kind enough to let him know he finished. Ky then thanked them, and stood up to leave. Eating was the one thing he has yet to master even since he gained his disability. He’s also not trusted with any glassware in case he were to drop it. For awhile Ky was upset about the rule, but after some time passed he came to terms with it. Now out of the dining room, he became aware of a particular scent that brought back to dinner’s events, or rather lack of.

Trouble hadn’t caused any sort of noise that stood out, and now he seemed to just be standing out here doing nothing, judging by the sound of things. His sudden change in behavior was definitely weird. Ky would have walked over to him and questioned him about it, but the arrival of Archin’s scent told him he was beat. Kythios was sure that Archin could handle Trouble so he walked past, using the walls to guide him. From outside a loud sound could be heard, and to Ky, it was probably someone new. He stepped outside, curiosity getting the best of him, and sat on the front steps. He heard slithering and rustling from the side bushes, and figured it was Liam. The soft dragging noise was an indicator that Liam found the new friend, and took them away. After that, nothing else in particular seemed to be going on.

Kythios decided to stay outside. He always appreciated the sweet scent of the forest’s air. He took a deep breath and set off. Counting his steps, he wandered around the house. 19 steps north, 36 east. Finally he stopped near and his favorite oak tree. Scattered around it were many sticks from previous adventures outside of the house. Ky sat cross legged on the ground before picking up a stick and dragging it across the dirt.

Vesper Noctis
Ves had made it through the dinner with minimal interactions. The only sounds that escaped were a few slurping noises caused by the extremely rare steak and random assorted ripe fruits. She occasionally swiped her hand across her mouth to stop the juices in their tracks. Ves had been one of the firsts to finish and made a hasty exit outside.

The upcoming darkness was a very comforting sight to the child of night. "I may not be able to leave completely, but I can at least enjoy the breeze." Her wings extended with an audible snap before she shot straight up into the air. Being up high gave her a chance to truly enjoy her heightened abilities. This leisure air stroll continued on before she found a suitable tree to recline in. Ves's landing was smooth and barely disturbed the sturdy branch beneath her. With her back up against the tree she let her mid wander off as she watched the remnants of sunlight disappear.

Her relaxation time came to an abrupt end when the rustle of foliage caused her ears to twitch. Crimson pupils widened slightly as she focused don the form below that belong to Ky. He...was one of the few that didn't grate her nerves, probably due to their shared flight ability. She still remembers how she had thought they were of the same species due to their similar wing structure. Mama Rose's earlier words began to float through her mind as she had told Ves on numerous occasions to not be a solo bat and be open to the others. She sighed before lowering herself to a branch closer to Ky but still a good distance above the ground. Ves cleared her throat before speaking, "Hey Ky, what are you drawing down there? I'm surprised you're not hanging around with the other trouble children or getting involved with that idiot dog's usual ideas."

Kythios became aware of a rustling above him but didn't respond. It wasn't until a voice spoke out that he turned his head up towards them. "I didn't even notice you were there, Vesper." Vesper was someone who typically wasn't the first to interact, so it was nice hearing her voice first. She asked him about what he was drawing, and he couldn't help but smile. "Not a clue. If you want though, you can come down and tell me what it could be." He slowly dragged the stick across, creating a loop in the line. Overall, his dirt drawing looked like a bunch of meaningless lines. On closer inspection, however, it looked somewhat like a very distorted face.

Vesper also seemed to have taken notice of how he stuck around the louder, more carefree monsters in the house. Again he looked back towards the source of her voice. "Well, I can tell you that they do get pretty hectic. The excitement is fun, but I also like time to just relax a bit." By then, Ky had dropped the stick and laid back against the tree. "I think you know that kind of feeling."

Sea'an's mind wandered from one thought to another as he gathered and washed the plates and silverware used for the evening's meal, having no need to eat himself he simply helps Mama Rose with cooking, cleaning, and general keeping around after the other children of the house. There seemed to be a larger influx of children over the last few months, most likely from the approach of the fall months and the skeletal lizard had been quite busy. He didn't even have any time to do any reading! He watched as one of the last children left the dining area, one of the demon-kin by the name of Kythios, before collecting the last of the dishes and cleaning them as well. Soon enough there wouldn't be any more chores to do and he could relax until the next one pops up, the only thing left to do was talk to Mama Rose.

Sea'an's clawed feet click against the non-carpeted parts of the house as he sought out its matriarch, bowing his head on the approach. "Mother, the dishes are clean and drying now. Is there anything else that needs to be taken care of before the night is done?" To others there would be practically no visible emotion on the skeletons face, but Rose could plainly see the subtle signs of boredom across his skull. He planned on re-drawing the night sky again, since it managed to somehow re-arrange itself every few years or so. Perhaps something else would pique his interest, but only time would be able to tell.

Turning the set back to the wolf all six of them looking at him. “And as for myself...well...” he paused for a moment he wasn’t setting in the most comfortable it was hard to adjust different climate different food... different people, some that back home might have been food.. it was all a little strange “I guess I’m doing ok...hard to get everything right is all... haven’t seen any good food well caught any... Trouble nodded occasionally as Archin explained his mild issues with adjusting, relating to them on an almost spiritual level. Then again, he couldn't imagine many people immediately setting down their stuff and feeling comfortable with their new environment. To gain refuge from the humans you had to give up a lot of control over your life, and that was something not many people were at all ready to do. Now that he thought about it, if it wasn't so stubbornly loyal to his parents when he was a young pup and knew what he was getting himself into, he probably would've somehow tried to stay with his parents- even though that likely wouldn't have worked the way he'd want. That wasn't to say he didn't like Rose, the house, or some of it's inhabitants. It just meant that Trouble was simply yearning for something he felt he only had a lifetime ago- freedom. He could appreciate the fact that Rose did her very best to sate the dissatisfaction of having a restricted 'safe-zone', but personally Trouble struggled to stay within those boundaries and abide by the rules.

Archin made mention of a lack of prey he could catch, and for a moment the werewolf believed that he could tell Archin where exactly he could hunt, what prey would be there and how to hunt it-- but the only problem would be the fact that Trouble was a werewolf and Archin was a... dridder? The wolf didn't know. He just knew that his information would be of little help to the spider. He wouldn't need to ponder Archin's circumstances for very long, however. The spider made mention of an odd slime person that lived in this house, which didn't take a stretch of the imagination to decipher who it was. Alron, of course. Upon pinning a face to the name Archin mentioned, Trouble furrowed his eyebrows a bit and tucked his hand back into his pocket. Alron, the odd slime.. person. The wolf's ears occasionally pricked the air before they reached a more wary, cautious stance, with both of them facing outwards and opposite of each other, as if he was listening out for other people.

"Ah. Him." Trouble didn't hate the slime per se, but rather couldn't quite appreciate his optimism. And despite being something of a freak himself, the fact that Alron was a slime really unsettled Trouble. He didn't want to be rude by any means, but sometimes he reckoned there was just too much variety in this house. People that he wouldn't in his wildest dreams believe exist, yet here they were inside the house.

"I reckon he's outside." He explained, not exactly planning on confronting him. Now that he thought about it, he should get up to some mischief of his own.. or perhaps just sit down and entertain himself with the electronic devices Rose provided for everyone.
"Don't know what he tries to do out there."

"Man, Am I out of leeches already!?" Rose held the large bottle up to her face and peeked in, looking at the sickly small leeches left. They were barely useful. "Ah damn. This is what I get for choosing the best ones first. I'll have to collect some more later." She sighed and just dumped the contents of the jar into the blender. Before she could turn it on though, Sea'an had called for her, letting her know he was finished. He was such a wonderful little man! Always so helpful when she needed him most, Working and letting her have time to work down in the lab. Rose left the blender, wipping her dirty hands onto her once white apron, she ran up the steps and over to Sea'an. "Varuul, my boy! Grab your galoshes and follow me! We need to stock up on some leeches!"

Pandora
Location: living room ==> ballroom

Pandora sighed happily, sinking onto the couch in front of the old tv. She stretched, hands barely reaching over her pumpkin head as she thought about the day’s events, and what she was going to do now.
“Ho, hum. A nice video game would be good, or maybe some scheming.” She mused, seeming to sink more and more into the couch.
“Or, I guess I could go to bed. Maybe pramk some folks, Or sneak more snacks into my stash...” by now, the trickster spirit had sprawled herself sideways across the couch, leg thrown over the back and arm tossed lazily across her empty holes of eyes. As she laid there, a smile spread across her face, before she bolted up, running full tilt into the front foyer and across to the ballroom, bursting the doors open and falling into a wild waltz across the dancefloor. an orchestra of mismash music followed Pandora, a result of her toon
-like powers. She laughed as she twisted and turned, barefeet skidding and sliding across the floor.

Sophia Mermaidington
The Leg Shifting Mermaid

Sophia took a few steps back as the giant repositioned itself on the ground, her eyes fixated on the art crafted by Aznethon. "Oh wow man! this is like the bee’s knees! it so perfect! It's just like her!" The mermaid exclaimed, glued to the statue she noticed how every little detail was accounted for. The only difference came down to her hair, which Sophia addressed by saying "Her hair is so cute like this! I love what you did with it! You should show this to Lady Rose, should would definitely adore this! I wonder if she would change her hair like this?" Sophia pondered, staring at the statue’s hair. While Lady Rose is pretty perfect, she could always be even more by a little bit. If she did something different with her hair every now and then it would be enchanting. Also girl has to show some leg sometimes, she probably has perfect legs.

Sophia didn't notice the arrival of the other monster but as Aznethon continued to speak she turned her gaze towards him. With the giant’s speech impediment, she tried her best to understand him but still struggled a little bit, and while she couldn’t fully make out what he said at first she did make out his action. Noticing the clenched fist Sophia grew a little worried, but quickly turned it around as he mentioned a new monster. Lending out her hand towards Aznethon she spoke softly with a gentle smile "A new monster means a new friend, right? Want to say hi? If not, I'd love it if you did a statue of me!"

Whilst Trouble was stood in front of Archin explaining where Alron was located, one of his ears that had swivelled to the side pricked the air with a renewed attention to its surroundings. It’d heard something. Something interesting. They perked upright once they’d caught onto that familiar noise, and shortly after Trouble perked up himself with somewhat wide eyes. Wide, exited eyes. They looked almost wild, full of devilry. A taunting kind of devilry. He spun his head to face the general direction of the ruckus and let a mischievous grin consume his face immediately after he easily recognised who that musical racket was coming from. It was coming from the ballroom, loud and proud, and coming from someone he’d been looking for since dinner had ended. He’d need to hurry. Though, he was in the midst of a conversation with someone he actually liked- well, not like too much, but they were better than most people here, of course. He didn’t want to be rude to someone he could actually commune with, so he turned his head back to Archin and gave him a quick, dismissive nod.

It took only a split second for Trouble to turn his head back to the ballroom, and within a blink of an eye his physical form shifted into that of his most commonly used one- the wolf. As he dashed hurriedly towards the ballroom he managed to call out to Archin “Sorry, gotta do something!”, sounding as if he were late for a ride. Then again, Pandora could easily pop up in places and disappear without warning. If he wasn’t quick then he’d be almost certain he’d miss her, and he didn’t want that. The boredom would grow too painfully dull to tolerate, to the point he’d likely risk getting absolutely crushed by Aznethon. Then again, boredom would probably kill him quicker than a massive giant.

His feet pittered quietly on the ground before he, within record time, made it to the ballroom literally right behind the staircase. He hurriedly shoved his head through the crack between the two ballroom doors that faintly concealed the music seeping from within, both of his red ears perked up with extreme interest. It didn’t take him very long to take note of Pandora, whom of which was dancing by herself across the ballroom, waltzing, skidding, twisting and turning. Clearly, she was having the time of her life, despite being alone. Personally Trouble didn’t want to speak up as to intrude on her fun, but at the very moment his boredom was clouding his ability to really care about such minuscule worries.

“Pandora!” He exclaimed, his tail behind him gently wagging. His voice sounded like a mixture of both excitability and relief. It took him a quick moment to push past the doors and have them slip shut behind him. He shook his body to ruffle up his fur, before stopping and regaining himself.

“Thank the devil you’re here, I’m bored as hell. Want to get up to some mischief?” Hopefully the girl was interested in causing some havoc, as she wasn’t always in a constant state of wanting to cause trouble- unlike the very werewolf stood in the front of the doorway to the ball.

"well i might go see him then i kinda like the blob" out of all the people here archin probably liked alron... 3rd most, the slime was interesting i mean shapeshifting must be fun... and useful arch himself being so incredibly bulky walking around was a little annoying, there was some odd noise again that seemed to make trouble perk up, then the werewolf ran off apologizing for doing so. archin sighed all his eyes rolling, he would follow but unfortunately, 8 legs didn't mean you went any faster he was probably slower if he tried to run heck he couldn't even run, to begin with. walking outside he saw alron still rearing form the impact of the hitting the wall smirking somewhat as he looked down at the sludge pile "sooo... what the heck happened to you?" alrons sludgy consistency reformed back into something humanlike looking up at the spider with a annoyed expression "well i was trying to fly and i sort of crashed, better then getting stuck in your webs" archin rolled his eyes again before laughing "well i don't think you really should be trying that, probably get yourself killed"
