Argead

Habs a long time ago on FeralFront
Hey everyone! Sorry, this took so long to get up, it has been a busy night for me so far.

So far for those interested in participating, I have:
1. Argead Argead I'll be playing Silas whose form is now below, and some background characters
2. PlusUltra PlusUltra
3. SeaTea SeaTea
4. SAIGO-NO-HEATS SAIGO-NO-HEATS
5. nh1 nh1
6. Talathel Talathel
7. GasMaskie GasMaskie
8. Historia Calamatium Historia Calamatium

If interest swells or wanes I will add more names to the list above, there is a decent amount of room in the roleplay if people are interested more in playing villains or non-students.

One quick thing on character creation, In the past, I have tried integrating teams into roleplays like how they are in the show (ie. JNPR ) if there is an interest in doing teams like in cannon then I am open to trying again but in the past, they have proven difficult and tend to cause issues and confusion. If people would prefer not to then we can likely find a way without them.

The time period of the roleplay will be approximately 15 years after the end of the Great War or approximately 65 years before the start of the show to give us some extra wiggle room with things to avoid stepping on the toes of the show's story and to reinforce that feeling of rapid change being resisted by the forces of old in a sort of real-world interwar period or industrial revolution type of deal where new freedoms enable for more movement and more challenges against the old guard of the nobility. The roleplay will largely be taking place in Haven and the Greater Kingdom of Mistral. I will make sure to get the first of the blurbs up tonight but they are by no means required to be read to enjoy the roleplay or the world and are just fluff/background explanations. Everything will be shown at one point or another and not just told. For the purpose of now though the Kingdom of Mistral is largely decentralized into powerful and diverse subservient duchies, republics, and cities which are nominally represented with seats on the nascent council system which was introduced by Ozpin's predecessor the King of Vale following his victory in the Great War. The three major regions are the North, which is largely dominated by the Duchy of Makon(Warlike and based largely on the Greek side of Mistral we see in the show),, the South which is dominated by the Republic of Liguria(A mercantile naval and ex-colonial power) with the last but most important portion of the kingdom being Mistral and her colonies. Feel free to have your character be from wherever you like both foreign and domestic to Mistral.

Finally here is the character sheet:

Name: Silas Aurum

Age: 18

ca932f5db67f83421e43bafc8d4c5d36.jpg
Gender: Male

Semblance: The ability to turn anything he touches into a cursed gold that brings misfortune for those who carry it. The semblance also has a pretty hefty recoil depending on the size and makeup of the object Silas wishes to turn to gold, the larger the object the more taxing it is on Silas. The semblance is also unable to affect those who possess an awakened Aura. This process can also be undone by water.

Aura: Gold

Weapon: A four-foot-tall Poleaxe Silas inherited from his father who insists that the weapon has quite the history. Nicknamed "Tsekouri" the poleaxe is able to shift into a bayonetted bolt action rifle. The spearhead also is able to be fired as a grappling hook from a button near the midsection of the weapon's shaft. Engraved on the axehead of the weapon is a faded coat of arms and a wordless banner.

Personality: Silas' personality closely mirrors that of the stereotypical rich kid's, rude and a bit arrogant at times and occasionally just downright unpleasant to be around. With that comes his favorite pastimes: practical jokes and pranks, though he seems to have a very firm and visible line regarding how far his pranks will go. Silas has set up this facade in an attempt to drive those around him away, as he believes that being around him is a death sentence due to past events in his life. Once one gets to know him a little better, however, they will find that under the tough exterior that Silas has set up for himself, he hides a heart of gold, caring deeply for his friends and allies well being.

Brief background: Born into a broken military family, Silas had a rough early childhood of poverty, misfortune, and occasionally less than legal activities. Forgotten by the Mistral elite after every war, the soldier class of society typically lay near the bottom of the food chain and thus near the bottom level of Mistral. As such, Silas' family was poor and had difficulty making ends meet. His father was a drunkard who worked two jobs and his mother was a bartender in less than safe places. As such, when Silas was ten, he began to participate in local pick-pocketing groups and over time became extremely adept at it, but no matter what he could bring home, it didn't help. His father was obsessed with something he named "the family gift" and as such activated Silas' aura at age 13 and began to train him using old mock polearms, always bringing Silas to the edge of his breaking point. At age 14, his father was rewarded in his efforts when Silas after one of their spars turned his polearm into gold in rage. Over the next few years, the family saw a gradual ascension in wealth and status due to Silas' semblance. Disaster after disaster struck however wherever the newly acquired gold was spent, freak accidents and Grimm attacks being the most common amongst these disasters. Eventually, his parents sent him away for his protection, or perhaps their own, to various boarding schools where the male grew out of his criminal phase. At age 18 he has decided to try to find purpose in life as one of the new emerging forms of protectors; a Hunter.

Name: Iedra Eilmoira Lyndis
Age: 18 years old
Appearance:
Iedra is a very lithe female, built like a cat if you must imagine. She has a perfect hourglass figure and has sunkissed tan skin. Her fingers are delicately shaped and elegant with long nails, almost appearing to be claws when she calls forth her more animalistic side. Her eyes are almond-shaped and a gorgeous ice blue, with cat-like slits for pupils. Her lips are bow-shaped and a slightly lighter color than her skin without crimson red gloss covering them. Her hair is knee-length and wavy; a gorgeous tawny color with darker blonde, brown, and hints of copper strands mixed into the long waves. When she is comfortable, two tawny ears sit atop her head. Her outfit tends to be a high-low cut dress of white and black, with blue accents the same color as her eyes. When not comfortable around others, the faunus has a bandana that hides her ears from view and oftentimes her hair can be in braids during this time (the length reaches her waist when braided). A belt is tied around her waist, a blue flower with turquoise and light blue beads dangling from the bottom of the petals. Her teeth are sharper than a human's teeth, eyeteeth specifically more pointed.

Gender(All welcome): Female
Semblance: Creating and Manipulating Ice - using dust on occasion, Iedra can form ice into weapons, or even into objects she would be able to use to some extent. Fire and electricity can undo her ice work, and using ice tends to take a tax on her - mainly after using her semblance for 30 minutes
Aura(Color): Turquoise in the shape of lily petals
Weapon: Her faunus traits - ears, canines, and cat-like eyes, and a bow she often creates as her main weapon of choice (made from ice)
Personality:
Iedra is unique in her own way. She is elusive and very much a solitary girl until you gain her trust. Iedra is very cautious and stubborn at heart. She doesn't give away her trust easily. She is strong-willed and oftentimes will push herself too far in order to help others. She is quiet and prefers to be a bookworm. Iedra is well-known to be a strategist and very intelligent individual. While on the outside the girl is shy and timid - on the inside the faunus is loyal and super honest too. Once you get past her walls, this aloof female can be sweet-tempered, compassionate, and patient. She will do anything to protect those she trusts/her team. Iedra is a bit of a sarcastic and sassy girl once you get to know her (and quickly realize her sass and sarcasm stretch a good 20 miles long or so).
Bio:
Iedra was born to a chieftess and chieftain of a specific group in a small town located near Vacuo in Sanus. Her parents and the rest of the small town treated Iedra like a princess, up until her mother died protecting her one night. Her childhood wasn't terrible, actually, it was downright amazing. Iedra was well-known and treasured until she turned 9 years old. Her mother and herself had gone out to train, the girl trying to find her semblance early. However, the training session was cut short when a nevermore attacked the duo. Sadly, Iedra was injured and a nick was taken out of one of her ears while her mother was fatally injured. By the time the duo reached the manor, her mother was fading and Iedra was quickly shoved aside. That night , all Iedra can remember is the screams and rumbles of her father grieving.

After that night, everything changed. The chieftain became distant and even ignored his own daughter - leaving Iedra to fend for herself. Iedra took charge as best she could for a 10-year old. The lioness faunus helping the subjects in the town as best she could and even became known as the Tawny Wraith. She was a symbol of hope, and of love. The town thrived as she tried her best to keep things going while dealing with the stress of her home life. Small cuts marred her tanned skin, while her mental health declined rapidly. Self-doubt set in so quickly that the girl ended up running away from her home at the age of 14. By the time she was 15 , her father realized something was different and tried to find his missing daughter... but to no avail. Instead, his own health declined and eventually, the chieftain passed away when Iedra was 17. At this time the girl had found her way to Beacon and was fighting to become a huntress. Only the headmaster knew of her heritage, having stumbled upon the girl stealing food in order to eat... and noticing her ears at the time. However, the headmaster respected her wishes, and should the girl actually find a team in the new year- he hoped her secret ... wouldn't be her own to bear alone any longer.

The first year, when Iedra was 17, she joined Beacon due to the headmaster requesting her presence... after finding her heritage and knowing her parents no longer were alive - the headmaster became a sort of father figure to her. Sadly, however, during the orientation, no one wanted to team up with the unusual girl, even with her ears hidden and her tail wrapped around her waist... everyone saw her eyes and thought her too different to partner with her. So, through that first year, Iedra conditioned herself and even got contacts to hide her slit-pupil eyes. Now it was a new year, and hopefully... Iedra could find a team that would accept her for who and what she was.

Dazai.jpgName: Eigen Shepherd
Age: 17
Appearance: A pale young man with bandages over his left eye who possesses a slender build. Perhaps the only thing that truly seems to stand out about him is his bright red eye. He tends to wear rather formal looking clothing whenever he can. Also of note is the lack of dust cartridges on his belt - rather, stylized ink bottles are holstered where they usually would be in a standard hunter's equipment.
Gender: Male

Semblance and Aura: Currently unknown, Eigen has not awakened his Aura nor has he developed a Semblance.

Weapon: Eigen's weapon of choice is a silenced handgun that can be converted into a ballistic knife. There is no history to this weapon either - unlike other students, Eigen's weapon wasn't custom-built or passed down. Rather, he simply purchased it - it's a mass-produced sidearm from Atlas. The silencer is permanently attached as well, limiting its actual firepower and range. But its nature as a consumer-grade weapon makes it rather easy to maintain.

Personality: Eigen is a rather secretive and somewhat meek person who keeps to himself. It seems that he enjoys solitary activities such as reading or whittling wood. While he tends to treat others with respect, it's also abundantly clear from his mannerisms and body language that he'd prefer to keep a distance. At times, he may do odd things like speak to himself under his breath. While it seems as if he has something he has to hide, a sort of awkward shyness can possibly be observed from the young man. Speaking out loud, especially in front of others, often leads to a bitten tongue, for example.

Bio: Eigen Shepherd is a relatively unremarkable student who comes from a long line of Butlers and Housemaids. From a young age, the young Shepherd was taught both the administrative and housekeeping duties that a domestic servant would be responsible for by his grandfather. Said grandfather was also once a famed Huntsman from Mantle. The family he served under lived within the relative safety of the City of Mistral, though Eigen's tutelage meant that he had very few chances to actually interact with the scion he'd eventually serve.

Ultimately, however, it was decided that Eigen would be sent to Haven to train as a Huntsman, as the heir to the noble family instead focused on proper education. Though his aura was unawakened and his Semblance undeveloped and unknown, his good understanding of the fundamentals as well as his keen observational skills and remarkable insight into the behavior of Grimm made procters and admissions staff second-guess his file. It was his grandfather's good name and recommendation that proved to be the deciding factor in the young man's enrollment at the academy. And while he'd start his education as a Huntsman, he knew that this was ultimately a secondary education for his destiny as a manservant.

7b242c35886fa16bad38953fd5a263ae.jpg

Appearance Described: Wears a normal suit and pants while out of uniform while wearing a soldier's uniform combined with hand-modified pieces of legion armor, a legion gladius (short sword) and a blank legion shield when operating as a hunter.

Gender: Male

Semblence: "Hold!" -transfers kinetic energy from attacks to Mark's body, this energy is used to hold Mark in place, keeping him from being pushed back by any force of any attack, as well as strengthening some items Mark holds such as his armor or shield.

Aura Color: Grey

Weapon: Gladius (roman short sword), shield, handheld grenades

Personality:
Strong-willed, Marcus holds to his ideals of personal honor and integrity. His personal life's mission to bring out the truth of a person, helping them become their true self on the inside, living up to their hopes, potential, and dreams. He values honesty and while can be courteous in casual conversation, will require truth when speaking of deeper desires, goals, and dreams.

Somewhat quiet, he can be friendly but prefers to let others talk first. Due to various people turning their backs on him, he prefers to test whether someone can be a friend, keeping things cordial before proof that he has found a friend. Once he feels comfortable, he can talk a fair bit and prefers to boost others up, and support others. Due to his semblence, he prefers to work in teams, figuring out the best way to solve a problem as a group rather than working alone.

Bio:
Born in the Duchy of Massalia, Marcus Rubeus was born to a family that worked in agriculture for years. For years, the Rubeus family farm was one of the premier wheat farms in the Duchy, growing the Duchy's premier crop, Massalia wheat. Of course, the farm also produced the second most popular product of the Duchy, legionnaires. Famous for its contribution to the Mistral war machine, Massalia legionnaires were one of the premier fighting forces of Mistral. Built upon a well fed diet of wheat and produce, legionnaires, built like oxen, were deployed as heavy infantry designed to tank heavy assaults from foreign armies while doling out punishing amounts of steel.

Marcus' father, Tobias Rubeus was one such legionaire. Serving faithfully for decades, Tobias worked his way up the ranks of the legion eventually become commander of the legion. However, during the Great War, tragedy would strike. During the war, glory hungry generals from Massalia began to dominate the decisions of the military and the war drew on longer and longer. In the eyes of these generals, changes were needed to ensure Mistral victory in a quick way. Overtime, the more staid, responsible, and logical commanders were one by one relieved of their posts until the decisions of command was made up of very aggressive generals. This would come to the fore when Tobias was ordered to take his legion, and in a punitive measure, carve a bloody hole through enemy lines and push towards enemy supply where they would destroy supplies, reinforcements, and infrastructure.

Despite his misgivings, Tobias trusted the leadership at first, and began the operation quickly smashing a hole in enemy lines and pushing through with the remainder of his legion. Excited by this news, the generals quickly ordered a series of blatant atrocities and war crimes ordering the complete genocide of anyone they came across putting every civilian and child to the sword. At this point, while he had taken care to eliminate targets of military importance and even destroy civilian farms, he had taken care to make 'mistakes' allowing the civilians to flee.

This ended with this order. Far behind enemy lines, and realizing the amount of deaths each of the men would have on their hands, Tobias made one of the hardest decisions of his career. He decided to disobey orders and head back towards the opening in enemy lines to smash their way back into friendly territory. They would head back over a period of weeks, completing great victories for Mistral by defeating many other enemy units and small armies as well as harassing supplies.

FlorisDidden_Ryse_Gates.jpg

Eventually, the unit came to friendly lines only to see the swords of their fellow soldiers furrowed against them. By this point, it had been weeks since Tobias had cut off communication with the generals having sent his final word and testimony of his desire to disobey orders and willing to accept any punishment upon his return. Realizing what would happen to their public appearance and general honor should they return and tell their story, as Massalia prized its honorable legions constantly noted for their professionalism and general good treatment of others, the general made a calculated decision to hold onto their control of the military.

Hiring a number of enemy prisoners, bandits, and mercenaries 4 times the size of the Ninth legion, they were ordered to adorn themselves in legion equipment and cut down the Ninth to the man. Seeing the betrayal of his comrades, Tobias ordered his men together before informing his remaining officers of the reality. None of them would return, and without proper equipment and tired after weeks of fighting in enemy territory and outnumbered 4 to one they had no hope of success. Realizing their situation, the commander rallied his troops for one last battle promising them honor in their final moments. While they struck hard and nearly manage to overwhelm the less trained and less unified enemy, the numbers of the enemy slowly whittled them down until not a man was left.

Burying the evidence, the general proclaimed to the nation that the ninth legion turned traitor and sold out their comrades to the enemy. That they committed horrific acts against the Duchy and dishonored the Masslian legions for generations to come. This horror at what was the most honorable and venerated men in the Duchy was a harsh blow to the state. Quickly, every name, banner, honor, medal, and trace of the existence of the Ninth was struck from the record. Discussion of the legion was banned. Every named officer was stripped of their title. Wives and children who had built their livelihoods on the backs of military retirements were cast into the dredges of society. Property from any nobility in the legion was seized and redistributed. In short, the Ninth ceased to exist.

This is what also happened to the Rubeus family. Once, a near noble family, known throughout the Duchy as fair and honest was cast out of polite society. Their ancestral farm was seized. In an effort to distance themselves from the names of those lost, many surviving family members changed their last names, which were considered sacred under honor.

However, while this achieved the short term goals of the generals, their long-terms goals were squashed. Because the new leadership was seen as allowing such traitors to thrive in wartime, the many overly-glory seeking generals were ousted from leadership, replaced with better leaders. For Marcus though, the damage was done.

From that point on, Marcus changed his name becoming simply Mark with no last name, a sign of the underclass of Massalia. He worked from the age of 10 in a series of odd jobs, moving out of the countryside into the city. He lived in a very poor part of town known for being somewhat sleezy. Eventually he was hired to work in a farm equipment factory at the age of 16 putting his experience helping his father work the family farm, while fixing the various pieces of equipment, into use.

15d660578da68731ff5c793498534f89.jpg

However, this would not be the end for Marcus. For a family friend who refused to leave the Rubeus family be was Julius Adrianus. A long time veteran of other wars, he was a close friend to Tobias and refused to believe in his guilt. Desite not being able to help the family much financially, due to his poverty and his war wounds which kept him from meaningful work, he did unlock young Marcus' aura and trained him for many years allowing Marcus to go to Haven at the age of 17 (though also passed on the bad habit of smoking). His skills are passable but unrefined due to the unusual nature of his tutorship. Fundamentally, his skills are based in the legionnaire army but are not the most practical in a huntsman setting. His equipment is also slapdash combining a basic soldiers uniform and kit with some armor plating, shielding, and helm scrapped from old legionnaire equipment.

c1a71951fbfa7ee90adfc5d37d10ef5c.jpg

In years past, he had wanted to follow his father into the legion but now sees the institution as flawed and realizes that his dreams of one day becoming a legionnaire are impossible. He hopes instead to find a unit he can help to honor and glory restoring his families name and serving worthy of the honor, though not the title, of legionnaire.

Name: Vermillion "V" Fawkes
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Semblance: Explosion, A relatively unstable semblance. They are capable of charging anything they gain contact with to either emit high explosions on impact or become explosives themselves, the power of which depending upon the target affected. This semblance also seems to provide unnatural durability, especially against explosive, heat, and impact-based effects.
Aura: Red
Weapon: November V Mk5, Twin Grenade Launchers with coupling and Staff formations. The weapons are notable for their great weight, especially when combined. They also carry an assortment of dust and explosives within their packs.

Personality: A high-energy and wild girl who never does anything by half and finds moderation to be an alien concept. Should she decide upon an idea she will likely pursue it with all her beliefs and efforts regardless of opposition. She often finds rules to be more guidelines and can be somewhat reckless, especially when it comes to damages or outbursts. She holds a strong passion for theatrics and performances, displaying a remarkable amount of dedication when applying themselves to tasks. There is also of course her unnatural fascination with explosions and fire that can be somewhat problematic at times.

Bio: Heiress to the Fawkes mining and construction conglomerate who supplies a great deal of dust from operations as well as constantly undergoing new developments in the towns that develop around these and beyond. She became a known trouble causer with her antics which eventually lead to her path on becoming a hunter as she rebelled against the planned path despite showing great talent as an engineer, despite her focus on particular elements. It is likely her family connections have kept her out of more serious trouble, especially with the ability to deal with any damages caused.

Age: 18

Appearance picture(optional):
yoon-joong-kang-1111.jpg[/imagefloat]
josh-wang-mr-rabbit.jpg[/imagefloat]
Gender(All welcome): Male

Semblance:
'Kinetic Locomotion' - He is capable of suddenly and violently changing his momentum in any direction he wishes at a moment's notice, suffering no ill effects of the sudden shift. The faster he is moving, the faster this shift can occur.

Aura(Color): Electric Green

Weapon:
'Oberholtz', an amalgamated saber and katana that has been inlaid with dust veins along the blade to allow the usage of dust shards set within the hilt to attain various elemental effects. The mainstay dust of his saber is usually lightning. Depending on the element called upon, Oberholtz can also serve as a ranged weapon. 'Last Call' - a high caliber pistol customized to fit Oliver, used mainly as a last resort or when elemental attacks are not called for.

Personality:
Oliver presents himself as a very energetic, sociable and cheery sort of person. He personally holds himself to the standard of ancient heroes that held to 'chivalry' in their pursuit of protecting others. He will do his best to be respectful and act with manners in any given situations, preferring to be cordial with most even if he is not responded to in kind. He'll attempt to put others at ease before thinking of doing so for himself. However he also has a tendency to be a bit of rebel and can become argumentative or even contrarian if treated with what he believes to be disrespect. As a faunus, Oliver fully believes in the new terms of equality afforded to him and he will do all he can to prove himself to those that may doubt him because of his heritage.

He enjoys engaging people in conversation and come across as a bit manic if in an excited mood. His has a rather simple moral viewpoint of the world that can be painted in broad strokes of 'good' and 'evil' due to his upbringing. He does believe in giving people chances for redemption or second chances. He fancies himself as intellectual or 'new world' type of man, playing off of the continued cultural evolution stemming from the end of the Great War.

Bio:
Oliver is a prodigal son of what once was a commune of faunus, based in the wild-lands of Vale, that had through various means managed to find their way out into the wilderness where they lived a sheltered existence living off of the land. This commune was surprisingly left alone mostly by local Grimm populations despite their permanent residences. It was thought that the return of the faunus to 'old ways' of doing things was the main cause of this. Specifically, the worship of the old Animal God of the faunus by the whole commune, whom believed that their deity granted them protections against the vile plague that swept the lands around them. Oliver was raised in this simple lifestyle of farming and crafting everything one used. He was told old stories of heroes and villans, and that he should respect his ancestors for the suffering they had to endure. Thus for much of his life, Oliver held deeply to the tenets he was brought up to believe. He quickly became known for his skill of tracking, hunting, and fighting enough that he was guaranteed a spot in the guard force of the commune when he reached adulthood.

However, this set destiny would soon be turned on its head when an outsider reared his head in the village commune. A traveling hunter, a human no less, was granted hospitality rights for some unknown reason only known to the commune leaders. Oliver however, a curious young man, could not help but sneak his way into meeting the traveling scholar. The friendly conversation the two shared over a small meal thoroughly rocked Oliver's entire sense of the world. He was told of things that he had never conceptualized before. The four kingdoms, the Great War barely a decade and a half previous, the tenuous peace, the struggles of the new hunter academies, and so much more. Oliver was in near shock from the stories; he felt the human wasn't lying, but surely the world could not be as big as that? He eventually confronted his parents over the issue at a later time and they finally coped to the truth. The commune's residents had originally fled the devastation of the Great War as it was raging. They did not want to return to a world that had so despised them and wished something better for their children. The problem lay in that Oliver was known to be a big dreamer, and to him, there was no bigger or better dream than that of the outside world he had only just learned of.

Oliver made a decision to make his way into that wider world when he could do so. One night he managed to slip away from his childhood commune and began plying his way through the lands of Vale. All he knew for sure that he should try and get as far away from his home as possible. He wanted to see as much of the world as possible, and he really did not want to start suffering from nostalgic thoughts of home. Oliver plied his way into hunting for food with merchant caravans and military columns of soldiers. He eventually reached the coast where he smuggled himself onto a vessel bound for Mistral. There he managed to distinguish himself in the defense of the ship by aquatic grim, being noticed by a minor functionary of the Republic of Liguria when Oliver jumped in front of a grimm that was bent on attacking the man and his family. With this display of skill and a dash of luck, Oliver found himself with a new home among the merchant family. He soon found himself having access to any modern marvel he could imagine, leading him to quickly take on new equipment to fully realize himself as a new warrior for a new era. Now, having managed to secure himself a place in a 'brave new world' he has dreamed of, he holds tight to his sponsorship to attend Haven academy and make his mark however he can.

I can see Oliver and Iedra being enemies or enemies to become friends kinda thing. I feel like Iedra will have heard of Oliver and he of her possibly lol.

Relationships:

Iedra would be mom-like with V
Iedra would be enemies/frenemies with Oliver (enemies becoming friends) due to faunus heritage and past
Iedra would be friends with Silas most likely (being around the same age)
Iedra would be enemies with Mark
Iedra would be enemies with Eigan

Depending on team formation - things can change this is just what I have as ideas right now based on personality and histories haha

Why would Mark be enemies? Just a question. I think it may be a good idea just curious what you wanted to do there.

Mainly as a human, Iedra would be more wary of Mark and she isn't very talkative so if he waits for her to say the first thing she would be super quiet. With Silas, he is her age so she would be more neutral around him compared to others, and the reason behind V and Oliver is due to her faunus heritage and her past.

V isnt a Faunus btw unless i misread what you wrote. Shes just a Live wire with a unique way of looking at things and a very dangerous semblance.

I wasn't clear haha - sorry about that. Iedra doesn't really like anyone much until they gain her trust in the long run. In other words, she's very much wary of everyone, V would have Iedra in mom-mode most of the time haha, only because she has the protective urge for anyone who gets into trouble.

Name: Sirius "Si" Pendleton

Age: 17 1/2

Appearance written: Sirius stands at a staggering 6'3" 210lbs of toned muscles with ebony bronze skin and jet black hair that's shaved at the side, eyes a piercing blue like that of a newborn star.

Appearance picture: Ogun_manga.png

Gender(All welcome): Male

Semblance: Photosynthesis: absorbs sunlight and stores it as a means of enhancing his speed, strength, durability, and augments his aura.

Sirius can store up to 48 hours worth of sunlight before he needs to recharge as well as release set amounts should the need arise.

Over usage leaves him lethargic and exhausted for hours which can only be remedied by sleep or being in direct sunlight.

Aura(Color): Iridescent

Weapon: A longsword/assault rifle called Sunspot.

Can be augmented by photosynthesis for harder hitting burst rounds.

Personality: Sirius behaves like what he believes a knight should. He fights in the name of impartiality and fairness above all. Willing to inject himself into affairs that aren't his business to insure the protection of the weak even if it means more trouble or in situations he believes are unjust.

Naive to a fault his honor makes him easily lied to and manipulated and dense that he often can't tell if a person has ulterior motives as he wishes to see the good in everyone.

Despite his happy go lucky attitude towards everyone Sirius is also a sort of thrill seeker longing to fight those who he deems worthy and will challenge any individual whose abilities he respects.

Bio: Sirius grew up moderately well off. His father owned a tavern that was in the family for generations on the coast of Vale. The tavern was frequented by many patrons on making their way to and from the other kingdoms.

Spending his adolescent years at the knee of the various huntsmen that stopped by the tavern he was enamored with the stories they told. From cleaning out grimm nests to protecting villages Sirius always found the stories fascinating.

Among the various patrons and their stories there were those who told of the incredible deeds accomplished during the Great War. Though none of the deeds ever eclipsed that of the King of Vale. And not just his combat ability but his humility and kindness as well.

By the age of 7, Sirius could be found swinging branches in the back of his family's tavern pretending to vanquish evil grimm like the king of vale. By age 11 he was training with a real blade and with huntsmen tutors. By 15 he was studying under various huntsmen from Beacon as they cleared out small Grimm nests in the surrounding hamlets and clearings near his home.

And for all the good he did Sirius began to feel wonderlust. He wanted to travel the world, help people in need, make a name for himself as one of the greatest huntsmen that ever lived but he'd never be able to if he was stuck in Vale. And when it came time to pick a huntsman school to attend, Sirius didn't hesitate to pick Haven for the simple fact it was as far away from home.

(Sorry bout the wait)

Just noticed something missing. Who is SeaTea SeaTea character based of? I initially assumed it was going to be mostly IRL Mythology/Fables/History as well but wasnt sure if that was a certain.

The myth side of thins is optional either way.

I think we’re just waiting on SAIGO-NO-HEATS SAIGO-NO-HEATS for a character she’s if they’re still interested.

also while we wait, do you guys want to do teams or no teams?

With Saigo we would have 8, so thats 2 4man teams. Only issue with teams though is if a person drops from the RP.

That is a good question! I had left that out since I saw it as an optional part of the sheet. That was mostly because my idea, as it is usually, was an amalgamation of different examples because I have trouble making final choices. So if you wanted a solid reference answer, I would say I would be basing him most off of 'Sun Wukong', that is the historical Chinese folk hero and not the Rwby variant that just kind of of played up his tropes instead of recreating the character, as Wukong is a very complex/interesting character to me. A more truthful answer would really be Oliver is based on an amalgamation of people from Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Basically eastern warriors with distinct personality traits with great convictions. Hopefully that provides a better understand!

My thoughts exactly yea, it’s been a issue I’ve had in the past where people will drop from the RP and it causes issues with teams
