Multiple Settings A Few Original Plots (MxF, MxM, MxNB)

NightmareWeaver

New Member
Hello! I'm Night and I'm back again with more original plots. But first, here's a bit about me: I am 22 years old and I've been roleplaying for about 8 years. My style can vary a lot but I mostly prefer literate multi-para (an average of 300 words per response, can do more if required) and I use 3rd person past tense. I'm generally a friendly and nonjudgemental person, so always feel free to share your ideas with me. Other than my love for writing, I am also an artist, so a lot of my characters have faceclaims drawn by me. I will also occasionally draw my partner's OCs!

Expectations

What to expect from me:

- My schedule is a little uncertain at the moment, since I am in the process of finding a job. However, I generally do my best to reply at least once everyday when I'm free and at least once a week when I'm very busy. If I take more than a couple days, feel free to shoot me a message and give me a quick reminder. Just don't bug me about replies every half an hour. Regular chatting is always welcome though!

- I am generally a friendly person and I love getting to know my partners, gushing about our characters, discussing new ideas or interests, commenting on what's happening in the rp. We can even talk about things unrelated to roleplay if you'd like.

- All my roleplays include romance. While it doesn't need to be the main focus, I still like to keep it somewhat important to the plot. I also prefer that it be slow burn, but there are exceptions. I should also mention that I'm open to any and all pairings and genders. As a bisexual person myself, LBTQ characters are always welcome!

- I have a multi paragraph style and I usually try to mirror my partner's length. However, if you're the type that writes a lot, please be mindful of whether you are giving me a chance to react to something before moving on to a different interaction. I've had cases where people would do something that required immediate reaction from my character and then, in the same reply, followed with a different action or line of dialogue that moved on from the previous action. It's not a deal breaker, but it can be a little frustrating.

- The plots I have are mostly made for my male characters, but I'm also open to playing a different role if the chance occurs.

What I expect from you:

- No one liners, please. I will sometimes accept semi-lit or single paragraph rps, but it doesn't happen often. I appreciate detail, but I also believe in quality over quantity. Our replies may vary in length depending on the scene, so don't feel obligated to stick to a certain length at all times. I simply ask that you have good grammar and give me something to work with when it comes to replies.

- Be patient and understand that life can sometimes get in the way of roleplay. I will do the same for you! And I am ghost friendly, so if you decide to leave or have left one of our roleplays in the past, feel free to return if and when you feel like it! I won't be upset even if it's been a whole year.

- I don't require character sheets, though they are appreciated. If you don't already have one, don't feel obligated to make one. Sometimes it's more fun to get to know the character through rp. I have over 60 OCs so I naturally never got to make a sheet for each and every one of them.

- Try to contribute to the plot, come up with your own ideas. I tend to lose interest fast if I'm the only one driving the story forward. If you ever feel stuck, simply tell me and we can come up with something together.

- This is not an absolute requirement, but it is highly appreciated when you are able to control more than one character. Side characters can be important to the story too. I think the most enjoyable rps are the ones in which we can create an entire world and cast of characters together.

- Please don't try to force me to use a certain type of face claim. All my characters either have no face claim or I draw them myself. If you dislike my art style (as seen in my pfp), I will simply leave their appearance up to your imagination.

Plots

The Deal

(Genres: high fantasy, adventure, romance)
Your character is on the verge of death. They've been trying to get their injured self to a town where a doctor could treat them, but their feet can barely carry them anymore. No others travelers or merchants have passed by in the past couple hours either. Just as they begin to consider lying down in the grass by the road and accepting their fate, a person with a small stand of potions appears right before them, where moments ago there had been nothing. He looks to be anything but human, the green complexion and deer lower half suggests he might be a forest spirit. "You don't look very good. How about a healing potion? You won't find anything as effective as mine," he speaks in a warm, almost enchanting voice. YC doesn't have time to be cautious or think things through, they accept the blessing that's been bestowed upon them by the gods and take the potion. As soon as the bottle has been drained, all of their wounds are healed as of they were never there. The stranger looks at them with a fiendish smile. "Thank you for your purchase. You can be on your way now, but now that you struck a deal with a fae, there will come a time to repay your debt."

A Suspicious Friend
(Genres: modern fantasy, romance, horror)
Your character lives in/is visiting a seaside town. One night, they decide to go swimming by themselves. To their shock, they spot a merman on a nearby rock, bathing in the moonlight. YC calls out to him and surprisingly, he comes to greet them. The two strike a conversation. The merman confesses that he's always been fascinated by humans. He'd be delighted to be friends with one if YC promises not to tell others about his existence. The whole thing feels like a dream to them, but YC accepts. They now have a secret unlike any other. But as days go by and YC continues to enjoy their time with their new merman friend, they also notice that people in town have been disappearing. The thing they all have in common is that they were last seen near the ocean.

The Spoiled Prince
(Genres: medieval, romance, drama, optional: fantasy)
The people loved their king, he was mighty and intelligent, yet considerate towards the needy and poor. Their kingdom had been flourishing ever since he'd inherited the throne, couldn't have asked for a better leader. However, he had one single weakness: his son. The prince was nothing like his father, he was spoiled, arrogant and selfish. Whenever he interacted with servants or common people, he emphasized his higher status and harshly punished anyone who disobeyed or defied him. With time, he'd ended up being feared by everyone around him, a reputation he seemed to enjoy. Then one day, as he was traveling through the city in his carriage, he spotted your character. Their beauty immediately caught his attention and a mere day later, guards showed up at YC's doorstep in order to escort them to the palace. "Order of the Prince," they said. Followed by the mortifying: "You are to become his betrothed."

Friendly Neighbors

(Genres: horror, romance, supernatural)
Your character has recently moved into a new neighborhood. Their house is near the outskirts of town and not too far from it are the woods. The fresh air and quiet atmosphere were some of the main selling points. It seemed like such a peaceful area when they'd first seen it. On the first day of their arrival, their next door neighbor stops by, a freshly baked pie in hand and gives them a friendly welcome. The postman that arrives the next day also seems very chatty and oddly happy to see them. Many people in this new neighborhood are very eager to befriend YC. It all seems like a happy situation at first. After all, being on bad terms with your neighbors is usually unpleasant. But after a couple more interactions, they begin to notice something is off. Everyone always has this glossed over look on their face and their smiles never reach their eyes. How long will it take them to realize that the local skin crawler has taken an interest in them?

An Unlucky Travel Partner
(Genres: high fantasy, romance, mystery, adventure)
Your character is traveling through the woods one day when they come across an injured person laying under a tree. He appears to be unconscious and his species is a little puzzling, it looks like an odd cross between an elf and a cyclops. Since the area they're in isn't exactly safe and they'd rather not leave this person to die, YC patches up his wounds and sets up a small camp as they wait for him to wake up. And after a few hours, his eyes open. The first thing he does is apologize to YC about a hundred times, then repeat the process with thank yous. He then proceeds to beg them to let him travel with them, since he is hopeless by himself. YC agrees. If he turns out to be a nuisance, they can always just drop him off at the nearest town. Once both of them have eaten and feel rested, they continue their journey. The halfling proves to be a bit clingy, but otherwise he doesn't seem like a bad person. However, all kinds of misfortunes soon begin to befall the pair, whether it be bad weather, being attacked by beasts, falling into traps or getting their path blocked. It's as if all their luck has suddenly dissipated.

Hello! I'm absolutely interested in the "Spoiled Prince" plot idea and would love to discuss further if you wouldn't mind!
