Almost 10 years ago, the Porters of the Irish Mob emigrated and moved their business operations from Chicago, US to Dublin, Ireland. After forming an unexpected alliance with the highly powerful Russian Mafia, they worked together to take down the deadly Italian Mafia. In the aftermath of the Italians' fall, James Porter took leadership of the Irish Mob and made an agreement with the Russians that they could have free reign over the streets of Chicago. In return, it was ensured the Irish would have rule over the UK and Ireland.
Dublin in 1959 is a relatively relaxed place to live, especially if you're allied with the Porters and the Irish Mob. The families have lived in what can be best described as comfort, having taken down, intimidated and controlled anyone who dares to get in the Porters' way. However, the cops are getting smarter and the other gangs growing braver, which all threatens to disturb the harmony. Not to mention differences in opinion with their former Russian allies.
Really, though. What could possibly go wrong?
** This RP will be drama, family and character driven - like a violent soap opera! There will be plenty of opportunities to form relationships within the RP and build up your character(s) depth. There will also be storylines which may involve threats, arguments, physical/mental torture and other dark subjects you're likely to find in a gangster story! Essentially, though, it's bound to be heavily focused on relationships - love and hate! **
1. The largest house is where the Porters live. There's lots of guest rooms so family and friends can stay over - there's no better feeling than a house full of friends! There are also a couple of offices/meeting rooms for those all important business meetings. Let's not forget about that indoor swimming pool - the kids love that. There's also access to the rooftops, because everyone loves a good view... In reality, James loves a good vantage point for security purposes.
2. The smaller, but still fantastic, house is where the Callahans live. It's close enough to the safety and warmth of the Porters but gives the Callahans their own living space. There's still room for guests too.
3. By the main road there's the only two ways vehicles can enter and both have security gates which are kept guarded. Near to the Callahans' place there's a small building which tends to be where the guards can rest whilst remaining "on-call". This lifestyle requires high security and James Porter is a stickler for protecting his family!
4. Cut off from the right corner of the image are the stables, for the family's horses.

James can be quite serious when he's working, but that's mostly because he likes to be focused and fully attentive to what is going on around him. Although he likes to hear a good joke, he rarely delivers any himself. In most situations, James is able to remain calm and think over his actions before retaliating to any provocation. That's not to say there will be no retaliation as he can deliver both a good beating and a convincing threat. If pushed enough, he has no issue with killing or taking drastic measures.
Despite having men and women at his disposal, James is always willing to get his hands dirty and do a tough job himself. When it comes to defending his loved ones, he wouldn't hesitate to put himself in the firing line. In business, he doesn't let anyone take him for a fool or attempt to cross him. He would rather lose out on money and profit than go into business with anyone he distrusts or holds beliefs/behaviours that significantly contradict his own. He's strong-willed, not easily intimidated and can appear overly serious at times. For a man who can kill with little hesitation and cut off his emotions when needed, he remains a man of personal integrity and empathy for innocents and those less fortunate.
If there's one person who can calm and even command James, it's his queen, Lucy. James is deeply in love with his wife and respects her opinion on all matters. Although she is a tough lady herself, he would do anything to protect her and hates to see her sad or hurt. He find's great pleasure in treating his wife and spoiling her. They don't often fight, but if they do things can become quite heated as both James and Lucy are stubborn and strong-willed. Regardless, they don't stay mad at each other for long and when they make up with each other, the sure do make up!
Though they may not be his blood, James treats his three kids as if they were. They mean the world to him and since the day he welcomed them into his home, he has cared about them. He's known to be a strict and no-nonsense father, able to see through their bullshit and call them out on it. Despite being a firm authority figure, he still shows them his affection and love, spoiling them when he believes they have earned it. James didn't have a nice childhood, so he's always done everything in his power to give his kids the things he missed out on in life. He is highly protective of his kids and knowing it's inevitable they will be affected by the family's business, he does everything he can to make sure they can defend themselves.
James was born in Chicago and raised by his father, Ronan Porter. As a boy he worked for the Sullivans, an Irish gang residing in Chicago. Their main rivals were the Romanos of the more powerful Italian Mafia. Whilst his father provided muscle to the gang, James and his young friends would partake in petty thefts and less complex break-ins. James was 15 when his father was given a life sentence for murdering one of the Romano gang members. A couple of years later, the man was killed in prison after a fight broke out. James later learned the head of the Italian gang, Vincenzo Romano, had ordered Ronan's death.
Although James vowed to stay out of prison himself, he did end up serving two sentences in jail for theft and assault, during the early 1940s. James initially suffered torture and abuse in jail, thanks to Romano's contacts. Soon enough, he learned to block out pain and to cut fear from his mind. As he built up physical strength he also developed popularity amongst the inmates, ones he would later be able to use on the outside. After his second prison sentence, James became reacquainted with the Sullivans and began taking on more complex jobs. When the Irish Boss, Emmet Sullivan, realised James had a knack for fixing cars and was a competent bodyguard, he hired him as his chauffeur and hitman.
As time went on, James fell in love with his boss' daughter, Lucy Sullivan. Tired of the Romanos attacking the Sullivan family, the couple hatched a plan to assassinate Vincenzo at his own birthday party. Things didn't go quite as planned and Lucy killed the Italian Boss' wife, Gianna Romano. This lead to James being tortured twice; the second time he was tortured alongside his love, Lucy. The war between the two gangs only intensified and the Sullivan Boss - Lucy's father - Emmet was murdered by Giovanni 'Angel' Gambino. The following months were difficult for the Sullivans, with their enemies often attacking them and their businesses.
It was around the same time that James learned his own mother was Vincenzo Romano's cousin. It tore James apart to know he had the enemy's blood in his own veins, but he eventually bonded with his mother and accepted her as his family. James still maintained complete loyalty to the Sullivan family, acting as the new boss' (Conor Sullivan's) closest adviser and hitman.
Despite all of this, James proposed to Lucy and married her in the summer of 1949, just a few months after. It was at their wedding, that Angel attacked the family, injuring both James and Lucy. The gunshot wounds Lucy suffered made her unable to have children of her own. This devastated the married couple as they had been longing to start a family together. With James' soft spot for children without families or those with troubled childhoods like he'd suffered, he and Lucy decided to adopt instead. They would go on to adopt four orphans later that year: Delilah, Syd, Mallory and Arlo.
James remained loyal to Conor, but he could easily tell the Sullivan Boss was not capable of looking after the family business and the fact Conor was sleeping with Romano's daughter, Alex, didn't help matters. It was in the fall of 1949 that the Sullivans' war with the Romanos ended, when Conor stepped down and left the business in the hands of James and Lucy, believing they were the true leaders of the Irish Mob. James made an agreement with the Russian Mafia to take the Romanos down. They were successful in killing Vincenzo Romano, his brother, Salvatore, and son, Nicolo. James himself was the one to murder the Italian boss, up close and personal! Despite starting out life as a small time thief, James' tough life had gradually equipped him for leadership. Looking back, it seemed like it had been destined for him to end up as the boss of the mob.
In 1950, not long after watching the Romanos fall, James decided to move the Irish operations to Ireland, where they had more business opportunities and the chance for a clean start with their family. This is where they have been for almost 10 years now, in 1959. Things have been running relatively smoothly since. James has built up the family's reputation and has maintained close ties with allies forged internationally. James is known to be a man of action and one who wouldn't hesitate to switch off his emotions to punish anyone caught crossing him. Despite this, James has recently been made aware of potential troubles facing the Porter family...
Lucy Porter - Wife
James never thought he would fall in love and have a family until he fell for Lucy. Since the day they married, his love for his "queen" has only grown. James would do anything to protect her and would drop everything if she needed him. Though it doesn't happen very often, their arguments and disagreements can be quite heated, as both are of them are very strong-minded people. They always patch things up in the end!
Delilah Porter - Adopted Daughter
James thinks of Delilah as a kind and warm girl, beneath the tough exterior she puts up. He trusts her to be open and honest with him, but that doesn't mean he never expects the odd white lie. Of his two daughters, he feels he doesn't have to worry too much about Delilah as he feels she is sensible and mature.
Syd Porter - Adopted Son
James sees a lot of his younger self in Syd, from the disinterest in school to the lack of respect for authority. Knowing his son would like to help out with the family business, James hopes to be able to train him to fight for and defend the family, building up discipline during training. He's proud of his son's enthusiasm and his interest is car mechanics.
Mallory Porter - Adopted Daughter
James isn't fooled by Mallory's sweet face and kindness around the house. Whilst he knows she is a good person, he's also aware she can be a bit of a tearaway when it comes to wanting to sneak out with her friends and drink. Such behaviours are normal for teenagers, but he knows he has to be stricter given the family has a lot of enemies on the streets.
Arlo Porter - Adopted Son
James loves his son and has done since they first met. He always tries to hear the boy out and though he can be strict, it is never needlessly so. More than anything, James is encouraging of his son and encourages him to be open about his feelings, no matter what they may be. He knows Arlo isn't stupid, so is as open about the business as he can be without giving the gory details. Still, he would like to train the kid to protect and defend, once he's run the idea past Lucy...
Elijah Porter - Half-brother
James loves his brother, despite their rocky relationship and Eli's lashing out. James carries with him some guilt for Eli's mental instability and his incarceration, due to the accident his brother had in his care back when they were just children.
Gweneth Sheehan - Half-sister
They share the same father, but James doesn't know she's his sister, yet...
Conor Sullivan - Brother-in-law
James has known Conor for a long time and they've been through a lot together. Conor is great fun to be around and always tries to evoke a laugh out of James. His brother-in-law also does a good job at managing the pubs as he has a great manner with the customers. Regardless, there are times when Conor grates on James and the two have found themselves disagreeing more over the last couple of years. This is mostly caused by Conor's penchant for getting drunk and sleeping around. James wants Conor to calm down, focus and confront his fears.
Sinead Callahan - Sister-in-law
When Sinead was younger, one of James' many duties was acting as her bodyguard and even now he still feels quite protective over her. He knows she's a peaceful soul, but that doesn't mean he won't argue back when she lectures him about the darker side of business. Still, he wouldn't have her any other way and her sweet (albeit, naive) nature is a breath of fresh air.
Peter Callahan - (Lucy's) Brother-in-law
James had liked Peter since the first day he started working for them. Not only was he hardworking and loyal, but he managed to breathe life back into Sinead while fully accepting Savannah into his life. Whilst James would have preferred Peter remained working for him, he knew he couldn't judge him for putting his family's needs first.
Savannah Grace (Gambino) Callahan - Niece
Despite hating her biological father, James has been fond of Savannah since the day she was born. He sees her as an honest and sweet kid, though one who seems to have a lot of opinions for her age. Still, James often finds himself looking out for her safety and directing her away from potential dangers.
Alexandra Romano - Second-cousin
James' second-cousin and the daughter of the man responsible for most of the physical scars and mental wounds inflicted on James in his younger years. Despite this, James grew to an understanding with Alex and he realised she was a good person. James has only seen Alex once since he murdered her father a decade ago, their last encounter being around 7 years ago. Whilst he would never apologise for murdering a monster, he didn't enjoy making the young woman an orphan.
Michelle Romano - Niece
Finn Sullivan - (Lucy's) Cousin
If James needs to relax and have a bit of fun, he knows he can usually turn to Finn. Though they have very different personalities, James still enjoys being in the man's company and is especially appreciative of the man's medical assistance on occasions.
Eleanor Sheridan - (Finn's ex-girlfriend)
James hasn't spent too much one-to-one time with Eleanor, but what he does know is that she has made Finn happy and the guy deserves that! James suspects Eleanor may be a little awkward around him and he has made mental notes to try being less serious or closed around her in future.
When he first met Jackson, James wasn't initially keen on the guy as he found him to be too cocky. Conor encouraged him to give Jackson a chance and over the years James realised he'd been wrong about him. Jackson proved himself to be an asset to the family and James will often go to Jackson first when a sensitive job needs taking care of. Duties and work ethics aside, James has also built up a friendship with the man and is happy to socialise with him.
By now, Ali has gained James' trust and he welcomes her into the family home. The two can switch from serious business talk to friendly conversation. Though he wouldn't ask or order her to commit any crimes, he believes she would defend his family if needed and he's confident she can handle herself.
After the two worked together to take the Romanos down, James has maintained an alliance with the man. Although they hardly buy each other Christmas gifts and may disagree on business points from time to time, the alliance has remained effective and they're generally on good terms with each other.
As an employee, James sees Tommy as a precise, focused and hardworking man. Even when he's on his last legs in training he picks himself back up. James admires that. It's when the lad's guard is down that James isn't so sure. He sees a lot of pent-up intolerance for the cops, which James reminds him to reign in. He also tries to keep Tommy too busy to go out drinking with Conor and the others, where alcohol and cops are bound to be a bad mix.
James gets along with Montag both professionally and personally. He is always open to hearing the man's advice and will consider it, even if he does reject it in the end. The two men share a love of vodka and whilst James isn't one to go out partying, he's happy to share a civilised drink with his friend.
Chief Inspector Conway
The man has his benefits as a persuasive "ally" on the police force. Though they have the ability to treat each other amicably, their relationship can also become frosty and confrontational at times. James knows the Inspector is desperate to distance himself from the Porters grip, but that's not going to happen any time soon. James still has a strong hold over him.

Sinead is a sweet, kind and friendly woman. In general, she oozes energy, youth and confidence. Growing up, she was quite naive and idealistic, able to see the good in everyone. Although she still tries to focus on the positives in everything, the many tragedies, losses and brutalities she has seen in her life can cause her to worry from time to time. She is often plagued with fears that she will lose another loved one, so can become nervous and panicky at the slightest sign of trouble.
Sinead adores her family. With Peter, she is playful and flirty; loving him no less than she did at the start of their relationship. On the rare occasions they do fight or disagree, she can't stay mad for very long at all, believing life is too short to end a day or part ways on a negative note. With her children, Sinead is very caring and strives to create a peaceful atmosphere for the young ones to thrive in. She approaches motherhood in a fair and relaxed manner. Though she showers her children with love, people would be wrong to assume she's a soft touch. Curse words are banned in Sinead's home and though she doesn't enjoy raising her voice to them, she will punish her children if they break her rules.
Sinead loves living close to her sister and brother, but she also knows that means being at risk of the family's illegal activities. It's always been a part of her life, so she's learned to accept it. That doesn't mean she doesn't worry about Lucy and Conor, often giving them a lecture if she gets wind of any business she doesn't like the sound of. Regardless of her fears and reservations, she knows her heart belongs with her family, so would rather die than leave them.
Sinead was born and raised in Chicago. She had a good childhood, close to her parents, siblings and some of her gangster family's employees. Whilst the nature of the family business often cast shadows on the city, the family home was surprisingly happy and normal. Emmet, her father, always made a point of making sure his children grew up happy and Sinead was closest to him more than anyone else - she loved her daddy dearly. A mixture of being a daddy's girl and rejecting the family's business meant that Sinead's relationship with her mother, Shannon, was usually a strained one. Shannon was often cold towards her daughter in hopes of making her stronger and less naive, but Sinead always felt her mother simply didn't like her.
The Sullivan family's ongoing personal and business feud with the powerful Italian Mafia started to directly affect Sinead around ten years ago. She had moved into her own place, found her independence and was starting her music career singing with a band in various jazz clubs. It was then that Vincenzo Romano, the boss of Chicago's Italian Mafia, dragged Sinead into the gang war. It was after a bloodied corpse had been left in her dressing room for her to find that Sinead first started to develop a phobia of blood. Following the discovery, Sinead was made to move back into her family home. During a second attack at her workplace, Sinead's life was saved by Giovanni 'Angel' Gambino - one of Vincenzo Romano's closest employees. After being fired from her job and losing her independence, Sinead felt like everything she loved was being taken from her. She found strength and support in Angel, despite him working for the enemy gang. Sinead fell in love with the man and was blinded to the chaos and suffering he was causing the rest of her family.
Whilst Sinead was in love with Angel, the man was hurting those around her. Heavily disguised, he gunned down her father in front of her own eyes, a loss she still hasn't completely come to terms with over ten years later. Angel left the city for a few months following the murder. Unable to cope with losing her father; Lucy disappearing for a few months; and Angel fleeing to Italy, Sinead's fragile mind finally crumbled. She spent a few months in a psychiatric hospital, which was one of the worst experiences in her life. She was eventually given the all-clear and released, with the help of her family's influence. It wasn't long after that Angel returned into her life and rekindled their romance. In a strange way for a man so messed up, he managed to help save Sinead's own mind and sanity.
A few months later, Lucy and Conor discovered Sinead's relationship with Angel and she was forced to end it, always choosing her family first. At the same time, she had discovered she was pregnant with Angel's child. When Lucy and James got married in the summer, Angel attacked the ceremony and shot both the bride and groom, an attack which caused injuries to Lucy which meant she could never have her own children. The attack also took the lives of some of the Sullivans closest friends and employees.
When Angel found out she was having his child, Sinead had to make a difficult decision and tell him he could not be in her life, nor their child's. This led to him kidnapping Lucy and James, intending on killing both of them as well as himself. Sinead managed to talk sense into Angel and he let his hostages go free. However, as he emerged from the building he'd been holding them in, he fired at the cops, resulting in them opening fire and killing Angel. Despite everything, Sinead had still loved Angel and she was devestated by the man's death. It broke her heart to think she had never been able to bring out his good side and that her daughter, Savannah, would never know her father.
Around the same time as Angel's death, Peter Callahan joined the family as a bodyguard to Sinead and Savannah. Whilst she was reluctant to have a "babysitter", she soon found she had music in common with him and she had an instant attraction to him. At the time, people assumed her grief was taking over or it was just some short-lived crush, but the fact they remain together ten years later proved their connection was genuine.
The Sullivans' war with the Romanos ended in 1949, with James killing the boss, Vincenzo Romano, and the Russians putting an end to the man's brother, Salvatore Romano. Conor resigned from his position as the Sullivan Boss and left the country, choosing to travel until he got a handle on himself. The decision upset Sinead greatly, but she knew he would return home when he was ready. 1950, home was no longer Chicago and the family moved to Dublin, Ireland. Her brother-in-law, James Porter, became the new boss of the Irish Mob and their operations were to be based in Ireland.
Sinead hadn't hesitated to move to Ireland with the family and found the place to be much more peaceful than Chicago had been. Peter joined them, much to a loved-up Sinead's joy. She had learned from her past experience, so she married Peter before they went on to have a son and daughter together. Now, Sinead lives with Peter and their children in a house on the same street as Lucy's and James' large home - which is also the base of their business operations.
As well as her "duties" as a housewife, Sinead regularly performs in clubs and pubs around Ireland's capital. Sinead and Peter own a Jazz Club in the city - Peter does most of the managerial side of things whilst Sinead focuses on keeping the place looking pretty and welcoming. Though she has been offered chances to perform in larger venues across the country, she is happy with what she has already achieved and simply wishes to remain close to her crazy family. Besides, she could never leave her children alone for too long.
Peter Callahan - Husband
Peter came into Sinead's life during a low point and she is forever grateful he showed her she could love again. She thinks he's a sweet, caring and beautiful person, who deserved better than the childhood he had. The couple sometimes fight, but it's not usually about anything serious at all, so they're soon back to being adorably cute together. She loves how good a father he is and she enjoys helping him run their club. Sinead was glad when he stopped doing jobs for James as it means she doesn't have to worry about him getting hurt or arrested.
Savannah Grace (Gambino) Callahan - Daughter, 10
Sinead adores Savannah, crediting both her and Peter for keeping her sane when she felt her world may fall apart. She is encouraging of all of Savannah's hobbies and loves the time they spend together, whether just cuddling or playing games. Savannah has started to hit a rebellious phase which has led to arguments between mother and daughter. Sinead worries she's the only one affected by her daughter's "bad behaviour" which then makes her fear she's a bad mum. Still, things soon go back to normal and Sinead is back to loving her little Savvy.
Conor Sullivan - Brother
Sinead and Conor were always close growing up, with him always being the funny and entertaining of the four siblings. He would cheer her up when she was upset and she would calm him down when he was angry. Although much of this close bond remains, Sinead does wish Conor would open up to her like he used to. He sometimes ends up sleeping on her couch after a heavy night drinking or she catches him swearing in front of the kids, which leads to her lecturing him. Really, she just wishes he would find someone to settle down with and share that big heart of his with, before it's too late.
Lucy Porter - Sister
Since they were children, Sinead always looked up to Lucy, finding her to be beautiful and intelligent, which she still does. They were always close, but that was threatened when Lucy found out about her relationship with Angel and also learned she couldn't have her own children. For some time, Sinead felt terrible and sad for her sister's loss, which also created a wedge between them for a time. They eventually patched things up and Sinead was very supportive when her sister wished to adopt. Although they still have disagreements from time to time, Sinead couldn't live without Lucy and she loves her to bits.
James Porter - Brother-in Law
Sinead is grateful for everything he's done for her family and for making Lucy so happy. She knows he does everything to protect them but at the same time she wishes they could all just be normal, free of gangs and violence. Still, he's done so much to protect her and she loves having him in the family.
Delilah Porter - Niece Syd Porter - Nephew Mallory Porter - Niece Arlo Porter - Nephew
Sinead thinks Arlo is sweet and she loves seeing how much Lucy's and James' eyes light up in his presence. Sinead usually speaks with him when they're both tending to the horses and she knows Braden looks up to the older boy.
Finn Sullivan - Cousin
Sinead has always adored Finn. He never fails to put a smile on her face and she always does what she can to return that favour. Even at a time when most of her family was angry with her, Finn was there to comfort and reassure her. She believes he deserves all of the peace and happiness in the world.
Sinead and Eleanor have known each other for some time, as they both worked together back in Chicago. Sinead played matchmaker and got her friend to go on a date with Finn. Ever since, she been overjoyed to see the couple grow closer, believing they both deserve someone as sweet as each other. She likes that Eleanor focuses on the positives in life, as it compliments her own desire to see the good in everyone.
Matteo Gambino Davide
Savannah's half-brother. Son of Giovanni 'Angel' Gambino.
When they lived in Chicago, Sinead rarely spoke with Alex. They once bumped into each other at a Halloween funfair and Sinead thought Alex was nice, especially for a Romano. Sinead knows Conor had a secret relationships with Alex, but she has no place to judge them and knows all too well that love can't be ignored.
Michelle Romano - Niece
Sinead doesn't know Michelle exists. Regardless, she loves kids and would love for Savannah to have a new friend/cousin.
Sinead doesn't speak with him too often, but when she does she finds him to be a friendly and nice person; someone she feels safe around. She likes that he's good friends with Conor and believes he wouldn't let the drunken fool get himself into too much trouble!
Although she initially struggled with the idea of someone else caring for her children, Sinead eventually came around to the idea. She thinks Skye is great with the children and trusts her to properly care for them, even if she is still young herself. Sinead would like to learn more about the nanny and become better friends - perhaps take her out drinking one evening.
Ali's restaurant, Sky Haven, is next door to Sinead's jazz bar, so the two women often see each other even if not around her home. The two get along quite well, even if they're different in personality. The children like Ali too, which is always a bonus.
Sinead isn't sure what to make of the man. Whilst she's grateful to him for helping James take down the monsters, Vinnie and Salvatore Romano, she finds him quite intimidating and a little bit scary. She finds it confusing that Emery - a kid who's not a fan of male strangers - seems curious and happy in the man's presence.
Sinead likes Wes as they share an interest in jazz music and singing. She's always happy to have him perform at the jazz club and enjoys the chats they have together. She's comfortable enough around him to greet with a hug and that bright, enticing smile of hers.

Alexandra was once a spontaneous, adventurous girl who would up and go at any given notice. She was the type of person who got bored just sitting around and usually found silence to be quite deafening. Alexandra was rather sudden in her actions and could sometimes be described as rash in making decisions, she tended to act first and think later and often jumped on the first solution that came to her, for that reason she was often unpredictable and you never really knew what she was going to do or say .
Since having a child Alexandra's personality has sort of mellowed a bit and she has become more responsible and mature, she can't go on her adventures anymore or enjoy the same actions that she once did now that she has someone else's life in her hands. This once flighty girl has now settled now to an extent.
Alexandra has always been a great listener and can act as an agony aunt at times to her friends or even random troubled strangers, she gives good advice that she usually wouldn't follow herself.
Alex is still very sarcastic and honest, she will tell you how it is and what she thinks even if you don't ask her opinion. She hates when people lie to her so she wouldn't lie to anyone else and wants her daughter to grow up with just as much respect or honesty as she has. Alex is very strongwilled and has found that her past and experiences have helped her to toughen up as a person. She is still as argumentative and will fight for what she believes is right and against what is wrong, she hates to see the ''weaker' man to be put down and tends to stick up for them and fight for their rights. Alexandra is not afraid to get down and dirty if necessary, she has killed two people and would not hesitate to do it again to save someone she cares about.
Alexandra Romano was born in Chicago, America to the head of the Italian mob Vincenzo Romano and his wife Gianna. Like her siblings, Alex, at a reasonably young age was taught to fight, use weaponry and to escape holds and capture, this was necessary as her father had a lot of enemies.
Alex was basically kept under lock and key, her dad and brothers were very protective of her and she hated this but this greatly changed as her views and opinions began to grow and she began to resent the Romano actions against the Sullivans. Alexandra moved out to live in her own apartment and spent a lot of time fighting with her father because of how he treated the Sullivans.
At the age of 19, Alex fell in love with Conor Sullivan and the two began a secret relationship which lasted nearly the year. Other than falling in love, that year threw Alex’s life upside down, her mother was murdered (a death she blamed her father for), most of her siblings moved back to Italy and the relationship between Alex and her father was severely frayed.
Alex has done some things in her life which she believed helped to strengthen her as a person due to her justification of the actions; she killed a Romano member to save Conor’s life and killed a sergeant to keep her relationship with Conor a secret.
Sweet while it lasted, Conor and Alex’s relationship eventually fell apart just short of year, when he gave the order to have her kidnapped by James and his brute of a cousin Cormac. While Alex still loved him, she felt too broken at the time to forgive him or to try and talk to him about it and lost any way to contact him when she moved back to Italy after the Russians slaughtered her father, Uncle, older brother Nicolo and family friend Olivia.
Shortly after arriving in Italy, Alexandra realized that she was pregnant with Conor’s child and was forced to flee Italy due to her families anger. She returned to Chicago to find that the Sullivans had returned to Ireland. Alexandra spent two years in America living with her old friends from work before eventually moving to Ireland, finding that she had too many painful memories in Chicago of a life she once had.
In Ireland Alexandra tried to get in touch with Conor but found out that he was abroad. She got in touch with James a man whom she had gained an understanding with in America but was told by him that the relationship between her and Conor was better left in the past. Alex decided to leave Michelle’s name out of the conversation and instead complied with his wishes and left the family alone. Unable to return to Italy and having nothng left in America , Alex decided to stay in Ireland to raise Michelle. For once she felt entirely safe and like a normal person and not like the daughter of a feared mob boss.
Monte Romano - brother (lives in Italy)
Giogori Romano - brother (lives in Italy)
Alena Romano - sister (missing)
Nicolo Romano - brother (dead)
Vincenzo Romano - father (dead)
Gianna Romano - mother (dead)
Fallon Romano - Alex’s sister and the youngest Romano. Alex is very protective of her sister and looks out for her in every way she can. Fallon was surprisingly very supportive of Alex’s pregnancy and even fled Italy with Alex and came to Ireland with him. They get on a lot better now since the Romano family fell.
James Porter - 3rd Cousin. Alex believes that James is a good guy and the two came to an understanding with one another back in Chicago. While they weren’t “friends” they definitely weren’t enemies. Even though James killed her father and was behind the murder of her brother, uncle and brother, Alex surprisingly was never annoyed with him for it. She understood the lives that they lived. And everything her father had done to and taken away from James. Alex saw James about 7 years ago when he gave her back her dog Rocco which he had been minding for her but hasn’t seen him since then.
Lucy Porter - while you wouldn’t exactly call them friends, the two came to an understanding in America, if born into different circumstance, Alex believes that they would have been good friends . Lucy helped Alex and her friends escape from Chicago and gave them everything they needed to start fresh and to get far away from the city. Alex will always be grateful for this gesture. Alex hasn’t seen Lucy since she left her at the station.
Michelle Romano - daughter
Conor Sullivan - ex-boyfriend and father of her child. Conor was Alex’s first love and she never really got over him.
Sinead Sullivan - Alex only met the girl once at Halloween when Sinead saved her from a bunch of drunken idiots who wanted to cause harm. She has heard a lot about Sinead from Conor and was aware of Giovanni and Sinead’s relationship.
Finn Sullivan - while Alex doesn’t know Finn personally she has met him twice, both in horrible circumstances, once when she saved him from her father and the second at an exchange between her family and the Sullivans. She still feels awful for what her cousin and father did to him and still thinks about the state that he was found in after her father tortured him. She hopes that he went on to live a full and happy life.
Nikolai Kuznetsov - Alex met this man only once when he forced his way into her home during a family meal. She didn’t trust him or like him for the get go. While she wasn’t angry at the Sullivans/Porters for the murder of her family, she was angry at the Russians knowing that they played a hand in their demise.

Michelle is a sweet child who hates to see people upset or hurt, she has a big heart and is very accepting of people, not caring if they seem different. She has a great sense of humour and tends to try and make jokes to cheer people up. As Alex say's she has gained all her kindness and warmness from her father.
Michelle acquired her mother’s sarcastic and stubborn side and tends to fight and argue for what she wants or believes in. She is also a very active child preferring to be do something rather than just sitting around doing nothing. She likes to keep active and busy.
Michelle is great at getting her way, if her cuteness doesn't seal the deal then she has a way with words that she can work to her advantage.

Jack is referred to, by most, as a compelling, easily-likable man. This cunning gangster could either become your closest ally or your worst enemy. Like himself, he tends to attract people who prioritiez leadership and who don't shy away from conflict. While he uses his charm for personal benefits, he also uses it like a card in business affairs for the mob. He may come off as a "Mr. Nice Guy" type, but can quickly turn into an aggressive and instinctual hitman.
Jackson was born in Waterford, Ireland in 1929. He was raised in St. Dominics Orphanage, till the age of 10. He was later adopted by Colin Duncan, an inspiring thief/con-artist. He used Jackson to transport important packages via rooftops, having him run up to as many as four transports a night. By the time Jackson was 15, he was transporting messages and contraband all over his small town. He wasn't so much worried about the law, for he'd usually lose them once he started scaling buildings and jumping from roof to roof. After making a name for himself, he started doing jobs for the O'Reilly Crew - from transporting packages to vandalizing cars and houses. Once he was fully indoctrinated into the Crew, he started taking care of hits. He eventually got so good as to where he could sneak into a house in the middle of the night, take out a target, and leave without a trace.
While being a hitman, he continued to not only deliver packages, but oversea all transactions as well. Due to this position, he became fairly acquainted with the Sullivan Family. He grew close to the eldest son, Conor Sullivan, to the point where Jackson was always requested when it came to handling their transactions in Ireland. After the fall of the O'Reilly Crew, he was picked up by the newly established Porter Family, where his skills were carried out for their benefit.
He considers this man a fairly close friend, having quite a bit of history with him and his family. When the O'Reilly Crew collapsed, it was Conor's idea to have him join their family, once they were stationed in Ireland. He has been grateful to have Conor as a friend and would drop all of his duties to drink a couple of pints with the bloke, if requested.
He and James didn't get off to the best start when they first met, James not caring much for his cocky attitude. Over the years, however, they've gotten along; to where he would consider James a good friend.
Jackson had originally trained Kat in the basics of hand-to-hand and firearms when she first joined; seeing as a driver is responsible for getting the family from point A to point B safely. Through the training process, blossomed what Jackson considered a friendship. In return for teaching her his expertise, he owes all of his car knowledge to Kat.
Like most of the Sullivan family, he had become acquainted with Finn before the family had moved to Ireland. Once the family had made their full transition; Jackson, Conor, and Finn would hit the local pubs and drink till they forgot their own names. Needless to say, he and Finn get along swimmingly.
Jackson's relationship with Lucy is complicated. Not because he doesn't like her, quite the contrary. He and Lucy are very close and have been for years. He, however, has certain feelings for her that he would never dare act on. With the unwanted attraction, he ignores his gut and remains friends with the married woman.
Neutral from birth, but works for the Sullivans and Porters.
She speaks fluent Italian and English, and can read/write in Latin. Can play violin and very little piano although she still tries to improve. Cooking can certainly be seen as one of her strong points, but she is no five star chef.
Good coffee, and a respectable dinner at the end of the night, no matter how tired she is. She does extremely well with children of all ages, teaching them nursery rhymes in other languages, and scheming up games to keep them busy.
Liars, cheats, and any bastard who can't hold their liquor.
Vittoria has learned to keep herself composed in the roughest of situations, whether that be a barrage of questions from a worried grandmother, or a near mugging at gunpoint. This attitude can make her seem standoffish to strangers who assume she simply doesn't talk and is to be frank- a bitch. Past the protective layer the dear city life has given her, Vittoria is an extremely nurturing soul. Whether it's a lost animal or a child she is immediately smitten, and her old entirely changes. She will sing and teach young ones music, but also tell them no when it's in their better interest.
People her own age who get to spend time with her are often surprised by her wealth of odd knowledge and absolute delight at holding a good conversation. Be it history, linguistics, or art, Vittoria will fawn over the chance to listen to someone tell their stories and experiences. Because of this, people sometimes tell her a bit too much than they may have originally intended-perhaps it's the feeling of safety she relays? Luckily, Vittoria knows better than to repeat what she is told for in a city like this it can often mean harsh consequences.
Born to an Irish father, and Italian mother she was outcasted from both sides of her family. Neither were rich, nor did either of them have ties to the mob prior to its arrival in her city. Her father died when she was only 9, a supposed mugging gone wrong. Her mother, ran off leaving the young girl with her Italian grandmother. She learned Italian this way, and in staunch bible readings she was forced to learn latin once her grandmother became too old to do it herself. The old woman pushed her through high school, and her first year of college. When the woman passed though, Vittoria gave up on school and stuck to her work so she could get by. The apartment she lives in now is still the one her grandmother owned, her insurance paying for the next few months of rent and utilities. Truthfully, she couldn't bear to leave it all behind and so she is there to this very day. The entire interior is full of old antiques- relics from WW2 and the peace prior. Photos of family members and some photos of strangers, alongside instruments and worn down cooking ware. She has never left the city, and so it is all she knows. Every street, every alley has been her playground and her solace. The worst trouble she had previously run into is when a man found Vittoria bringing his daughter gifts, and immediately unraveled the clues. Sadly, Ireland isn't the most welcoming place to queer folks. Since this she has vowed to never let her eyes stray again, for male or female counterparts.
She came to work with the Sullivans through her grandmother's caretaker, who had been a friend of a friend who heard a nanny was needed. This information founds it's way to a desperately job seeking Vittoria, who had no qualms about the sometimes cryptic things required of her. After all, in this day and age someone couldn't be very picky about where their money is coming from.
Vittoria doesn't know much about him, other than he wasn't a huge fan of her being around at all from the start. From the rumors she has heard, Vittoria can gather as to why. Currently things seem to be running smoothy, and will hopefully continue this was so long as she doesn't step on any toes.
occupation // mechanic + driver. skills // hand to hand combat, mechanical engineering intelligence, great getaway driver.
Personality // katherine, usually going by kat, is quite the rambunctious woman; she's opinionated and outspoken, and she's not one to let someone take her down without a fight. kat is very blunt with her words, her south london accent usually making her words seem harsher than intended which can lead her into trouble sometimes. her stubbornness can get in the way of her thinking straight sometimes but kat means well, she's loyal until the end and she's protective over those she cares about. kat's frightened of losing those she loves from having such a lonely childhood which causes her to be closed off about her feelings sometimes and uses witty, sarcastic comments to keep her emotions to herself.
likes // whiskey, nice cars, racing, affection, family. dislikes // heights, isolation, being belittled, emotions, sour things.
history // katherine never felt wanted in her childhood; a walking mistake between an upcoming politician and his ex-girlfriend. rowan and charlotte thought they were the perfect, white picket fence couple. rowan was the heir to the murphy empire and followed in his daddy's footsteps while charlotte was nothing but a shallow girl looking for a man to spoil her. the couple were only dating for six months before rowan accidentally impregnated charlotte while being drunk and high on cocaine. rowan and charlotte stayed together for another nine months, charlotte's belly grew bigger while rowan spent his nights at the bar and flirting with other women. the thought of an abortion angered rowan, it would've ruined his career if the media found out. soon katherine was born and neither of them wanted to keep the girl, so they left her at the front step of a nearby orphanage in manchester.
kat's time during her stay at the orphanage was nothing but rough. the owner, miss baker, was an alcoholic who used the children as free labour. kat spent her days locked away in miss baker's garage, fixing her rusting car that kept breaking every time miss baker used it. this went on until kat turned fifteen, her skills as a mechanic developed and she grew a love for cars. when kat turned sixteen, she ran away from the orphanage and snuck onto a cruise that was heading towards dublin.
for five hours, kat stuffed herself with fine food and wine while hiding in cramped places on the boat. she soon arrived in dublin with nothing but the clothes on her back and the dream of starting new. kat didn't wast any time in her somewhat illegal schemes of getting money. with her intelligence for mechanics, kat spent her long nights hotwiring cars and pulling them apart before selling them off to those who needed parts. of course, people did question where she was getting the parts but kat would always wave them off and take their money.
but for kat, she decided to get a little too greedy and hotwire the wrong car. kat wasn't very aware of the gangs in dublin and decided to try to take a gorgeous car who belonged to no other than james porter. she did her usual tricks and began to process when she felt a tap on her shoulder. james wasn't impressed by the young girl. kat wasn't afraid however, her stubborn personality got the better of her and, somehow, james decided it was worth a chance to take the girl in.
kat was surprised by the man's reaction but didn't object to his offer. at seventeen, katherine became the porter's personal mechanic, working on all their cars to make sure they acted if they were brand new. she appreciated the kindness the family showed to her, as if she was one of their own. kat slowly but surely warmed up to the family, dropping little bits of herself over the years but still, not much is known about the witty mechanic.
notable relationships //
james porter... if james didn't take kat when she was seventeen, she would've been in a dark place. she owes james her life and she's very loyal to him. as much as she struggles to open up to others, kat finds it easier to talk to james compare to other people since he knows the pain of having terrible parents. jackson mccarthy... a crush kat developed over time; what started as a simple friendship and metorship, kat has felt nothing but butterflies when she's around jackson. she's not sure how to express this strange feeling towards jackson since she struggles with coming to terms with her emotions.

Conor is one of the best friends a person could have. He's charismatic, charming, has a good sense of humour and a big heart. If you're good and honest with Conor, he'll treat you well in return. He's protective over his family and goes out of his way to make sure his loved ones are happy. He loves his family and is a great source of entertainment to the young nieces/nephews in his life, due to his playful nature.
Despite his fun and friendly attitude, in a split second, he can go from laughing and joking with someone to headbutting them if they provoke him or say the wrong thing. Mess with his sisters or nieces and you'll be lucky to see tomorrow.
At one time, Conor was the head of his family's criminal organisation, but he knew he wasn't suited to the responsibility and struggled when it came to making tough decisions, therefore he stepped down from the role. This doesn't mean he doesn't take any responsibility for the business - he is happy to attend business meetings, throw his weight around when needed and provide support to the Porters. He wouldn't hesitate to provide muscle and advice when called upon. Conor enjoys managing the pubs and restaurants, taking pleasure from the more social parts of the Porter Empire.
One of Conor's biggest flaws is his sharp tongue and lack of respect for authority figures, which hasn't changed since he was a teenager. He often comes to blows with the cops and has been known to get into minor arguments with Lucy and James. Another aspect of Conor's life that proves problematic is his inability to settle down, both in behaviour and relationships. He hasn't been able to commit to one woman since the relationship with his first love, Alex, ended ten years ago. Conor knows he should calm his behaviour down and stop getting stupidly drunk, but he simply has no reason or motivation to want to change.
Conor has been a scrapper since he was a kid, often getting into fights with his peers whilst out on the streets. He seemed to get away with it, being that he was really a nice boy and his father wanted him to grow up tough anyway. As Conor got older, he wanted a part in the family business and he would go out pick-pocketing and intimidating others with his friends.
In his mid-teens, he began building up his strength and put petty theft behind him, realising his father wished for him to be doing more important jobs for the Sullivans. In his late teens, Conor moved on to bigger things. He was involved in taking businesses from their main rivals, the Romanos and even bringing some of the enemy's lower ranking soldiers over to the Irish gang's side. As time went on, Conor's efforts against the Italian Mafia didn't go unnoticed and he found a deadly enemy in their boss, Vincenzo Romano. At the same time, Conor fell in love with the man's daughter, Alexandra Romano. Between fighting a war with the Romanos and having a secret relationship with their daughter, life started to become difficult for Conor very quickly. He often provoked the Romanos, to the point where Vincenzo personally tortured and almost killed him.
When his father was murdered by the Italians, Conor was suddenly thrown in at the deep end. He was completely unprepared for the responsibility but as his father's heir, he found himself in charge of the family business and their safety. Although Conor always had his family's well-being at the forefront of his mind, he found himself unable to attack or fight back against the enemy. This was something he received great criticism for and when he was finally pushed into taking action, he made a decision that he still doesn't forgive himself for now. Knowing James and Lucy were aware of his relationship with Alex, he agreed for James and his cousin, Cormac, to kidnap Alex. He thought they would go easy on her, but she was hurt during the kidnapping and it was then that he knew he'd messed up. He'd broken the heart of the only woman he'd loved.
In 1949, Conor stepped down from the business, handing leadership over to James. He then left Chicago, wishing to get his head together and remove himself from the family business. He spent three years travelling around America and Europe. He made new friends and had a number of very short-romances. Whilst he'd managed to overcome the demons he'd been plagued with over the years, he never stopped thinking about those he had left behind. The phone-calls and letters to his family weren't enough, so he finally made his way to Ireland in 1953 so he could once again live with those he cared most about. He has since been managing some of the businesses for the Porters, finding much more enjoyment in it now he isn't the boss. Still, he feels like there's something missing from his life.
Lucy Porter - Sister
Conor loves his big sister and he appreciates that she's always had his best interests at heart. He hates seeing her down and he wishes she'd been spared the tragedies in her life. He respects Lucy's opinion and believes she is far more suited to helping lead the family than he ever could have. He often pops in to see her just to put a smile on her face and give her one of his brotherly hugs.
James Porter - Brother-in-law and bossy boss.
Conor respects James and knows he's the best man to be the boss, even if he doesn't always show it. From time to time, Conor pisses James off with his antics and that can lead to disagreements even though the boss is generally in the right. Aside from that, Conor thinks of James as great friend and the best man he could hope for to be married to Lucy.
Delilah Porter - Niece Syd Porter - Nephew Mallory Porter - Niece Arlo Porter - Nephew
Sinead Callahan - Sister
She may be grown up with her own kids, but Conor still thinks of Sinead as his sweet little 'Tinkerbell'. He likes to tease her and bring out laughter from her. He knows she worries about him, but he wishes she wouldn't. He thinks she has her hands full enough with the kids and the singing, so he just wants to be a fun part of her life.
Peter Callahan - Brother-in-law
Conor thinks Peter is great and has done since he started working for the family when he was running things. He couldn't imagine a better man to be married to his precious little sister, Sinead. Whilst he would break the guy's legs if he ever broke Sinead's heart, he believes Peter is incapable of doing so and completely trusts him. Conor sometimes gets the feeling Peter needs to get things off of his chest, so tries to encourage him to open up.
Savannah Grace (Gambino) Callahan - Niece, 10
Conor loves the kid and being a free-spirit himself, he enjoys playing around and making up new games with her. Despite realising she's growing up fast and she's trying to act as such, he refuses to let her grow up yet, so will always draw her into a play fight or some innocent mischief!
Finn Sullivan - Cousin
Conor and Finn have always been the best of friends, more like brothers than cousins. They both love to laugh and have fun. They seem to bounce off each other and if one is down the other will try everything to lift their spirits. Whenever Finn is away, Conor feels it and wishes for his cousin to return.
Alexandra Romano - Ex-girlfriend
Alex was his first true love and one Conor has never gotten over. He feels an immense amount of guilt for allowing her to be kidnapped and hurt. He only hopes she's found love and happiness in her new life.
Michelle Romano - Daughter
Conor doesn't actually know she exists, yet...
Conor has known Jackson for some time now and was pleased when he joined the Porters as he's trustworthy and good at what he does. More than that, Jackson is one of Conor's closest friends and a great drinking buddy. He hasn't needed to, but he'd have Jackson's back, even if it was to defend him to James.
Conor enjoys Ali's company, often stopping by the restaurant for a steak, a chat and a flirt. They've slept together a few times, purely for the no strings attached sex, being that neither want commitment. Without that, they're still good friends and both look out for each other, whilst not actually opening up about their deep troubles.
By all rights, Conor shouldn't like a forceful alpha male and one who doesn't laugh. Still, Nikolai showed a level of compassion towards Conor when he was at his worst and it's something the Irishman will always remember. He feels like he saw something in the Russian that many others never will and for that he shows the man respect. Not out of any kind of fear or intimidation that some others might feel.
On a casual level, Conor is perfectly capable of being civil to Montag. Sometimes Jackson invites the guy out for drinks, so Conor makes the effort with the legal advisor. Mostly, Conor doesn't like anyone perceived to be an authority figure and he doesn't really appreciate being bailed out by the man as he doesn't want to owe him anything. Conor only goes along with it for the sake of the family business and peacekeeping.
Chief Inspector Conway
"That dick? He's an absolute piece of shit." Conor generally doesn't like cops and authority figures. The fact he knows how corrupt Conway is makes him completely unwilling to comply. If the family insist on having allies on the police force, Conor thinks they could choose better cops to use. He's aware of Conway's cover-ups and not all have been for any benefit to the Porters. It certainly did nothing for poor Tommy's parents.
Nickname: Luce, Lu, Mama.

Affiliation: The Irish Mob
Occupation: Boss' Wifey (think that counts XD)
Eternal Youth (lololol inside joke)

Handy with a gun
Being a mother
Her children getting dragged into family business. Personality: Lucy use to be young in every sense of the word, personality, experience and looks. While the looks hardly changed, she's grown tougher and wiser with the experiences she had back in Chicago. She is stubborn and very observant, so if something about someone rubs her the wrong way, she will find out what dirt you are hiding. Her family brings out the best in her and she often praises her husband for the woman she is today, knowing if they never crossed paths in the way they had, she might not even be around and on top like she was now. Lucy is a natural charmer, not having to act or put on a face in the social spotlight. An expert manipulator of words, she can get what she wants from someone without them even knowing it. Since her first kill back in Chicago, Lucy hasn't feared the thought or action of ending a life, if the situation called for it learning well how to shut out the guilt she often felt as a younger woman.
As a mother, Lucy is very attentive to her children, perhaps sometimes too attentive. She means well, having fallen in love with her adopted children the first day they brought them home. Motherhood changed Lucy in a way that she can't often express. It was a scary yet thrilling experience at first and soon she became the mother she always wanted to be. James handles the serious business, of course, she is always backing up his words. He is often stricter with the kids, which Lucy respects tremendously. She can't help that at times she turns into a pile of mush at the sight of her babies who are growing up too fast.
At times, parenting styles could clash between James and Lucy, and fights can turn ugly. But most of the time, the couple looks past the differences and understands that both work in one way or another. Their marriage of almost a decade has flourished since the day they said "I do." It continues to grow stronger every day and she falls more in love with James. Through the good and the bad Lucy is behind him in the end, doing whatever she must to ensure her husband and family are safe.
History: Lucy was born October 3rd 1925, the firstborn child and daughter of Emmett and Shannon Sullivan. Most of her childhood was spent staying out of the family business, much like her father intended for his daughters. She often helped her mother look after her younger siblings, becoming very close with them. As she grew older, Lucy realized that her father wanted her to have nothing to do with the business, overlooking her and instead looking to Conor, the second oldest child. Although it irked her to no end, her father's words were final and for many years, she stayed out of the family business, doing her own thing and staying out of the way.
James Porter and Lucy had a simple relationship before anything serious started, often flirting with one another the two grew closer as family struggles deepened. After the Romano's took a step too far, Lucy proposed a plan to James to kill Vinnie Romano, wanting to end the feud once and for all, he agreed and the pair had executed a plan on the night of the Boss' birthday. Gianna Romano was killed that night and Lucy lived with the guilt for a while. James and herself were tortured for their crime agains the Romano family along with her older brother Conor.
Needless to say, the two had history and on the night of Gianna's death, a new relationship was born. Lucy married James in the Summer of 1949, a day that she would never forget when Giovanni Gambino gunned James and herself down at the alter, leaving her unable to have children of her own. They struggled with this news as the War between the Romano's and Sullivan's was at its peak and with Conor struggling with his position in the end, having to choose between his relationship with Alex Romano and protecting the family, he handed over the business to James and their families, rival, Vinnie Romano and his family (besides Alex) were killed and soon after Lucy and Conor had sent Alex along with her surviving friends on a train out of the city, and hasn't been heard from since then.
After all was over between the Romano's and the Sullivan's, the Porters decided to adopt three siblings, who they love as their own and have loved since the moment they were brought home. [SECTION ABOUT ADOPTED KIDS TBD] Soon after, James had decided to move the business back to Ireland and Lucy supported this greatly, now almost having been there for a decade, it is was like they never left and Chicago never really existed. Lucy knows it did of course, and in the back of her mind, she often thinks of the years of struggle and hardships it took to get to this moment in her life where she was nothing but happy. She wonders every day what she has done to deserve her husband, her kids, and family and friends, and strives to keep everyone around her safe and sound. Years of being a mother have made her life rather settle now, the craziness she experience back in Chicago was a thing of the past and now things are mellow, she is a mother first and foremost for now, leaving the exciting life of being apart of the mob operations behind but that doesn't mean she won't return to it if necessary.

Aliana is a hard character to peg. She's a mysterious and intriguing soul who know one really knows anything about. However, the traits she does let be known to the wall are simple. She doesn't take shit from anyone and will voice her opinions quite proudly. If she doesn't like someone or something, she will say it out loud, not being one to sugar coat anything. To some people, her blunt attitude would drive them away but for those who were more intrigued, they stayed and got used to it. These people would soon see just how many more layers to her there were. She was manipulative and when she wanted something, she got it. It made her very ambitious, even if the lengths she'd go to get them weren't always the right ones. But while she showed all these traits that made her practically unapproachable, the ones she had deep inside were who she truly was. She was caring and loving, always putting other peoples needs before hers. Of course, she would have to have known you for some time before she did, but nonetheless. Deep down she was an absolute sweetheart, but years of heartbreak would prevent her from ever showing it. It's why she doesn't truly believe in love, but will sleep with a man to keep her bed warm.
Aliana had a strange childhood. While most children were taught to express their feelings, she was taught to suppress them. Her father, in the absence of her mother, raised her to keep her feelings hidden. It would protect her, he said, from any kind of heart break someone may cause her. While most people were taught to share with others, she was taught to take and manipulate. Her own parents were apart of a gang in America; well more like an extension. The main gang was based in Dublin, Ireland way back when and her father was in charge of the small gang community in Manhattan. So from a young age she was exposed to the gang life and knew how it all worked. She had seen men tortured, people killed, all of the dirty work gangs did. Aliana was raised to eventually take their place when her parents stepped down but she was never given the chance. A rat had dimed on the organization after he was denied forgiveness for a mistake he had made. Aliana and her mother had made it back to Ireland, but their father stayed to give them a head start. He was arrested and sentenced life in prison.
Her mother kept up with her fathers teachings and even added a few of her own. This is where she learned how to fight and shoot. With Ali's own line of work, she would need them both to protect herself if things ever went south. Hopefully it didn't, but you never knew in this place. The restaurant, "Sky Haven", was given to her when her mother stepped down. Ever since, she has taken care of it like it was her baby. A lot of her life she actually keeps hidden from people but there are always those few who she would share it with.
My Favorite Part
The relationship between these two is very simple; sex. Neither really want the emotional attachment, for their own reasons, so they keep it simple. They're also really great friends and Ali would do almost anything for the man. Within reason, of course.
The basic relationship you can expect with a gang boss and their men. Except, they're close. Close enough to come over to his home and even watch his children when he and Sinead need a date night. He respects her and she respects and trusts him fully.
Ali thinks Sinead is just the sweetest little thing. Her naivety sometimes annoys her, but she knows she means good. She can be very protective over the woman and her interests, as she does not want to see her being taken advantage of.
Nikolai's personality is best described as a forceful alpha male, who objects to authoritarian personnel and demanding figures. Despite being Sovietnik, he believes he has more authority and control than his own Pakhan. Nikolai's face is stone cold, his personality predominately displayed through the expression of his eyes. Don't allow his robust, formidable appearance to deceive you; for he is a sharp-witted, astute individual.
Nikolai was born in Irkutsk, Russia in 1918. At the age of five, his father had been arrested and held in Gulags, during Stalins reign. While incarcerated, he was accepted into the very v zakone, tethering the family's ties to the Russian Mafia. After being released, his father had become a permanent bookie for the mob. Nikolai's childhood was soon plagued by crime. The Pakhan had become his father, the Boyevik his brothers. Nikolai showed little interest in being an active member of the mob, instead joining the Red Army by the age of 23. He spent four brutal years fighting Nazi, Germany. During his duration in the Red Army, he grew a hatred for Fascism and an ever-growing love for Communism. After the war, he was discarded by society. The Russian Mafia was the only family he truly had. He was happily accepted back with open arms, where he was made a prominent figure in the crime family.
After securing his powerful position, he worked on his roots in America. The contraband capital at the time, Chicago, was a made up of a jumble of crime families. Unable to engage these families without permission, he bluffed his way into the profits of two rival families. After the Italian family become more of a pest than an asset, he got the permission he needed to eradicate the group. Instead of bringing heat to his organization, he helped the Sullivans' liquidate the Italians and allowed them to take the credit. After they left Chicago, he setup a stronghold before another other families could possess the kingdoms the Irish and Italians left behind.
During the 50s, multiple assassination attempts were thrown at Nikolai, from fellow Russians attempting to take his place. Nikolai grew more aggressive and violent, often sending body parts or unborn children belonging to the victims back to their families. Once he had scared off his competitors and re-established his dominance, he focused his sights on Europe as a whole. With the Cold War at it's peak, he made the families presence in America as unknown as possible. While he allows the Porters to freely roam Ireland, at a price, he focuses more on their surrounding nations.
He sees this man as a very instinctual and competent leader. He and James are temporarily allied, allowing the small family to prosper in Ireland. For the time, Nikolai has granted their family immunity from Russian/Ukrainian Boyevik lists. Seeing as the Porters control his primary income in Ireland, he temporally checks up on the family.
If there's anyone who has gotten a glimpse inside of Nikolai's tough exterior, it is Persephone. Nikolai didn't think much of her when they first met, but was intrigued by her stubborn and brave attitude towards him. It didn't take long for Nikolai to grow an attraction for the young woman, especially after he found out they shared a similar backstory. Despite their strong connection, the relationship was hard to maintain. Nikolai had no desire to settle down in Ireland, or at all for that matter, and he couldn't take Persephone with him. Even if their relationship won't end in a marriage or the starting of a family, he will always have a place for her in his heart. Despite his strong attraction to her, he has made it clear that she won't affect his decision if relations with the Porters go south.

Savannah is a sweet, affectionate child who tends to be good at reading others' feelings even if they try to hide them. Growing up surrounded by the large, close Irish family, she loves hugs and human contact. Hugging the Porters' dogs is a close second.
Savannah prefers interacting with adults to children, but that's mostly because she's never had friends her own age. She cares for her younger siblings, but often argues with them and secretly feels a little left out because she thinks she's only "half a sibling". The adults in her life have learned not to underestimate her. Savannah is a smart kid and is good at sneaking around in time to hear things she shouldn't. Her perceptive nature keeps the grown-ups on their toes and her sometimes challenging behaviour often causes her to get in trouble with her mother.
Whilst Savannah loves playing games, rough-housing, laughing and having the kinds of fun other kids have, she is just as happy in her own company. She likes to watch movies or climb into her own imagination so she can write her own short stories, wishing to be like the people who write the films she watches. Savannah also collects photographs of family, including the relatives she never got to meet, and she's quite protective over them.
Savannah was born out of wedlock as a result of her mother's secret relationship with one of the family's enemies, Giovanni Gambino. The relationship ended before Savannah was born and Giovanni never got to see her up close. When she was just a few weeks old, Giovanni was killed after being gunned down by the cops. Savannah knows her father was a criminal and her family's enemy, but she'd been spared the details. She does know the police shot him and because she doesn't know the circumstances, she blames the cops for her never getting to meet her dad.
Still, when she was a baby, Sinead and Peter started a relationship. Peter cared for Savannah from the start and even though she knew he wasn't her biological father, he was the next best thing. When she was a couple of years old, her half-brother was born and then her half-sister. No matter how much love her parents showed her, as Savannah started to get older and understand things a little more, she started to wonder if she was less important because her brother and sister were full siblings. This led her to spending more time with the adults around the place rather than her brother and sister. Though she adores Peter, she likes it when Sinead tells her the stories about the good things Giovanni did when he was alive. Savannah's favourite story is the one about Giovanni taking her mum ice-skating, which she now loves to do herself.
Savannah knows her family are criminals, but it's always been a fact of her life so she isn't afraid of it. It does mean she has to be home-schooled and has missed out on making friends her own age, but it's simply the life she's always known.
Sinead Callahan - Mother
I love my mum. She's kind, sweet, and she's always there when I need a hug. I love her singing and the games she plays with me. Sometimes, we argue. She overreacts if I swear and sometimes she goes into one of her "moods", - I know that's not her fault but it still upsets me.
Giovanni 'Angel' Gambino - Father [Deceased]
I know that my biological dad was called Giovanni Gambino and he was Italian. He died when I was only a few weeks old so photographs are the only memories I have of how he looked. Mum tells me Giovanni would have loved me and treated me right, but I've also heard about the bad things he did to my family when he was alive and that he worked for a terrible gang back in Chicago. I just wish I could have known him myself.
Peter Callahan - Step-father
I've always known Peter isn't my biological father, but I still call him dad. He's always had time for me and has been there since I was a baby. He's fun, warm and generous. If I fight with mum I know he'll be there for me.
Conor Sullivan - Uncle
Conor is hilarious and crazy. I love it when he's around the place as he's always up for messing around. He does tease me and tries to mess up my hair, but he's pretty good at taking my punches!
Lucy Porter - Aunt
My aunt Lucy is amazing. We've been close since I was born and I enjoy spending time with her. Sometimes she gives me advice and help when mum's annoyed with me. Lucy can't have children of her own and that makes me sad, especially when I accidentally found out it was because my real dad shot her.
James Porter - Uncle
James is the boss around this place and apparently the city. He's always been good to me, even if a little bossy. "Don't climb the fence! Don't play near the cars! Leave the guards alone!" Mum told me to call him a "grumpy old man" and that makes him laugh. I always know I'm safe if he's around.

Personality: Finn is a fun loving individual who knows how to have a good time. Some of his cousins' call him teddy due to his friendly smiling face and he always has his arms open for a hug when needed. When it comes to his family, Finn is very protective of them and will fight for them no matter what the expense is. Often Finn is cracking jokes and tries to brighten up a room if he feels that things are taking a turn for the worst. Fuck with his family though and you might as well consider yourself dead, that is one of his biggest downfalls, he tends to hold a grudge for long periods of time and if you really piss him off he will find you and that's when you should be begging for your life. He is just as stubborn as the rest of the Sullivan gang if not a little more.
Finn lost his parents when he was only just a lad. His sister and him had to learn to be on their own after they died and things weren't as easy as others made it seem. Finn had to provide for his sister and help her live her dreams, so in order to do so, he dropped out of medical school and decided to move them back to Chicago to stay with his Aunt and Uncle. The family was known as criminals, something his parents had tried to keep himself and his sister out of for a very long time. Finn had tried to do the same, not feeling ashamed of the people he called family, but more or less wasn't ready to face such intensity yet. His Aunt and Uncle welcomed them with open arms. And the rest was history really. Maggie (his sister) left Chicago to travel, just as Finn wished she would. And Finn soon after the war ended returned to finish the rest of his schooling in the medical field before setting off with his lady love, Eleanor and traveling the world with her, spreading education of medicine to countries of less fortune and providing health care for those who go without. Peter is a pretty happy go lucky guy for the most part, though he tends to take on the personalities of those he grows close to (part of his fatal flaw). He has always had some sort of identity crisis, never really fitting in anywhere. Any feeling of resentment he felt for his parents were pushed down in him and locked away with a key. He is reckless at times, but he really tries hard not to be. The young man is charming and sweet, always opening the doors for the ladies and helping them out of cars. Sometimes, he can have a temper...it really depends on how far you push him though. Peter has a lot of issues that he's never felt the need to deal with and sometimes this can cloud his happy go lucky personality and turn him into something darker.
Peter grew up without any parents, a nun found him just outside the cathedral with a note stating that the parents couldn't take care of the child and asked for god to watch over him. Peter grew up in a very irish catholic background, being raised since birth in the church's orphanage. He was a warm kind and helpful boy and young man, the sisters of the orphanage called him, "The charmer" because his adorable smile and smooth words could make ANYONE swoon. Peter for the most part was an obedient child, sure he stole a few things, did a few drugs he probably shouldn't have done, but all in all the boy was good and pure.
He never really wondered if his parents missed him or if his family even knew he existed...up until he met the Sullivans of course. The young lad was offered to work for them in exchange for not going to prison. Needless to say, the boy was doing something he wasn't suppose to and got caught this time around. He was bailed out and sent to work for the Sullivan family, being guided under James Porter so he doesn't fuck anything up. Soon after he started his job with the Sullivan’s, Peter fell in love with Sinead, who had already had a beautiful baby girl named Savannah. Peter was taken by both of them immediately and he couldn’t have been happier with his decisions (WIP)

Thomas is confident and outgoing in the presence of his friends or those he trusts. Growing up in relative wealth with a once well-respected father for a doctor, Thomas is very well-spoken, polite and carries himself as a true gentleman. This fools outsiders into thinking he is richer and more successful than he really is, which he can often use to his and the Porters'benefit. In reality, he's no stranger to getting his hands dirty, frequently cussing and fitting in comfortably with other gang members.
Thomas tries to keep a low profile where the law is concerned, knowing by now they can be crooked and more deadly than the mob. Beneath the act, he despises cops and has very little regard for the law. He's willing to do what the Porters and the more senior gang members ask of him. Having been around the family for a few years and guarded their home, he feels he would risk his own life to protect them.
Thomas had a relatively normal upbringing, until he was sixteen and his returned home from school to the news his mother had been murdered. In his grief, his father, Owen became obsessed with the case and as a result, his medical career took a nosedive. Once an excellent doctor and surgeon, the man lost his job and turned to the drink. The police seemed determined to close the case, which only heightened his father's need to uncover the truth. Thomas gradually grew suspicious too.
It was two years later when Thomas' father began to act paranoid, only, it felt like the man had good reason to fear for his life. Some would put it down to coincidence, but after three near death experiences, it seemed like someone had a hit out on the man. It was on the last attempt that he in fact ended up tending to the shoulder of a woman who had been caught in the path of a stray bullet. As luck would have it, that woman was one Shannon Sullivan. After the no-nonsense and hard as nails woman demanded to know why people were shooting at him, Owen told her about his wife's murder case. He found out the woman was the mother-in-law of the boss of the Irish Mob. Despising crooked cops, Shannon offered the man and his son safe haven, in exchange for his medical skills when needed by the Porters.
Owen grew loyal for the Porters over the coming months and Thomas also grew interested in working for the family. The lad was trained in the use of firearms and self-defence by the Porters. He also realised there was a spark between his father and Shannon, noticing the couple spending more time together than necessary. This didn't bother him as it had been some time since Julia's death and Shannon had been good to the two Dempseys.
In 1955, Owen found enough information to link a police sergeant to his wife's murder. Knowing he didn't have enough evidence to do things the legal way and that enough cover-ups had already taken place by the police, he took matters into his own hands. Owen murdered a police officer in broad daylight. He fled the scene but the police eventually caught up to him and he was shot on the scene, more out of a vengeful cop's anger than necessity. Owen was painted as the bad guy and the case was swept under the carpet, as was Julia's murder case.
As a precaution, Owen had secured Thomas' safety through permanent employment with the Porters. Shannon had helped to ensure Thomas was kept on by James, though she herself eventually left the household to live with a friend in England. Thomas found it easy to form friendships with the Porters and their family. He has since proved himself to be a committed and precise member of the gang. He spends much of his time guarding the Porter/Callahan residence, be it standing by the gates or scaling the rooftops. He enjoys his work and loves knowing he's protecting the family. Whilst outsiders would think of them as merely dangerous criminals, Thomas's eyes are open to the genuine love and friendship that is in abundance around the family home.

He loves to be in the know about whatever's going on with anything and everything; he can keep a secret but he'll tell for the right price. He's tried it on his parents but it hasn't worked well... at all actually. He tries to hold out but he doesn't last long.
He feels comfortable talking to anyone and doesn't really have any limits on what he'll ask even if it's not the most appropriate question. In serious situations he does have tact, though.
He met his two adopted siblings in an orphanage and formed a close friendship, making it easy to slide into a sibling relationship. He can't imagine what he would do without them.
He's glad to have found such loving people to call his parents. He understand the danger of what their life is but he's intrigued by it and finds it thrilling. He's never had to face the real dangers of what a mod is like so he doesn't understand exactly how gruesome it can get; he has this somewhat idealized way of seeing the mob. As interested as he is in the mob he's still fifteen and likes to just do teen things.
He can speak Romanian. He started learning it when he was younger to feel a connection to his parents.
He enjoys watching people argue and fight. He finds them entertaining. He doesn't so much like when his family gets into serious fights. Small squabbles between one another are fine but be all out screaming matches aren't something he wants to stay around and be privy to.
He was Born in Romania but he and his parents moved to America soon after he was born. He doesn't really know much about his parents because he spent most of his life in the orphanage.
He wishes he knew more about his parents or remembered them but he does have some pictures of them that he had in his things from when he was younger.

Dick is known primarily for his gravelly tone of voice, his tough overall persona and his "charming personality". He presents himself task-driven, a man willing to do the job no matter how many people get hurt in the process or how many rules are broken. Despite his distaste for the unlawful, Dick rules out emotion and morality when it comes to his own gain or that of his business. He strives for success in all of his endeavors and lets no stone be left unturned. However, for a man with such conviction, Dick is able to show compassion to those close to him. He wishes no harm upon women and children who've been dragged into atrocious situations - portraying an ethical upbringing - and pushes for safety over havoc.
Since his time in the RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary), Dick forged the ability to keep an emotionless expression - concealing his intentions. During the late 1920s when the Provisional IRA threatened the police force for its unjust regulations, Dick was under fire for speculations of his involvement with the IRA. He was seen as a dirty cop, but never convicted under such allegations.
Richard 'Dick' Moore started his career in 1920, when he joined the Royal Irish Constabulary in Northern Ireland. During this time, taxes were demanded from the common class by the church which led to civil unrest. Non-violent marches and protests were met with violent law enforcement (RIC). This backlash started the uprising of the IRA (Irish Republican Army of 1922) who believed the separation between Northern Ireland and Irish Free State were caused by the bipartisan church, putting shame to their battle for a single-independent Ireland. The IRA was proven to become a reckoned force as they killed and assassinated many police force officials. Corruption in the force began to rise as officers/representatives sided with the IRA and their mission. To prevent the further criminality within the force, the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) was created. This was an attempt to bring Dublin's non-paramilitary force and the RIC together - forming an unarmed police force seeking peace with the IRA.
Amid those years, Dick had become a very integrated individual in firearm rights. He sided with the IRA's mission to arm the defenseless and used his powers as a commanding officer to push forth the integration of Northern Ireland and Irish Free State. Unfortunately the creation of the PSNI ended with his resignation - the IRA no longer able to haul guns through Ireland's new joint police force. No matter, Dick had relations with other local gangs, mobs and groups. He helped the IRA make relations and distribute their weaponry to places like Russia and North America.
He did not join the Irish Mob until the 1940s, when his connections with the police force were called upon- easing the connection between the mob and the PSNI. He has since been working with the Porters, creating alliances, fueling the gun trade and dealing with international relations. His devotion to the Irish Mob has proven beneficial to all parties. He's a reliable asset and is very aware.

Adriano is a daring and adventurous guy. He's got a brave demeanor that usually gets him into challenging, spontaneous situations. In any event where the benefits outweigh the risks, expect Ryan to be there. You can count on him to run timed tasks since he also has a knack for improvising. The best part is that he almost always has a chill vibe even when under pressure.
Sometimes Ryan may have indifferent expressions that can often be misleading to people who don't really know him that well. In all reality, he's a clever and resourceful guy who enjoys having fun whenever possible. Aside from this, Ryan would give anything to make his family and loved ones happy. He's even unsurprisingly overprotective of them. As the eldest sibling, Ryan's determined behavior is primarily shown when trying to financially sustain his family. It's interesting how even before his younger siblings’ existences though, Ryan was known for upholding a playful demeanor and using his cunning abilities for justified purposes.
Adriano is passionate about engineering especially since he could often connect his assignments to the still geeky soul inside him. However, the man has surely become more reckless over the years especially due to his own stubborn mind. He tends to place others’ needs before his own to the point sometimes when he even forgets to feed himself.
With all seriousness aside, Ryan is a pretty humorous guy. . . . well, he tries to be. It's second nature for him to have authentic fun without causing trouble. The main point is that this hardworking geek is also a badass fighter.
Adriano Ventimiglia is an American citizen with Native Hawaiian and Italian roots. His mother was a housewife, while his father managed an auto shop. Having been born and raised in Hawaii, Ryan couldn't shake the feeling that life felt too slow. So, he started to learn a variety of skills. At first, the boy sat around observing his uncle swallow fire during a usual luau performance. The act was pretty cool to the kid. As a result, Adriano managed to get a few lessons into his slow daily schedule whenever he could. Unfortunately, his mother started halting the lessons especially after someone accidentally lit a hut on fire. The curious boy continued to secretly hold his uncle as a mentor though. Next, Ryan eyed the street magicians. He figured that breathing fire and performing with lit staffs had a magical element to them. So, why not actually try some magic out? Discovering the secrets behind magic tricks was fun and all, but no other skill could interest him more than his next endeavor.
Naturally, life wasn't all "maluhia a me ke aloha" for the ethnically mixed character. Bullies used to haunt him around every corner for his little less than 20/20 vision or matching A grades. Punches, kicks, and gasoline pumps were all the craze during Ryan's painful times on the concrete ground. It didn't help that the only blessing that seemed to be reigning down on him was increased endurance. Fighting back didn't seem like an ideal option either. Seven to one was not practical at all. It took some time before Adriano realized that being bullied was a blessing in disguise. Finally, Ryan got into martial arts. After a few years of practice, it was quite shocking that he was labeled as child prodigy in various close quarter combat forms. It didn't take long for martial arts in addition to its disciplinary teachings to become his way of life, along with academics and picking up a few superhero comic books on the way to the local beach.
Fighting. Just when Ryan thought he could beat conflict, his parents decided to load it up for another shot. Ryan's father was no drinker, but he sure was a player. Coming home to loud name-calling and emotional abuse wasn't exactly the household many people thought the Ventimiglia's were. Subtle murder threats as well as potentially getting kicked to the streets wasn't comfortable to live with either especially right across a bedroom door. The then teen felt sorry for his mother who was clearly still "in love" with the damn fool. Honestly, Ryan never understood the point of that "love." Only Ryan and his mother seemed to know about the true inconsiderate, abusive monster his father was. Random illogical outbursts with circular dumbass reasoning coming from "the man of the house" only prompted Ryan to seek revenge against his father. He'd of course do it in a civilized manner. Get a good job, take his mother away from the evil scumbag, and leave the state. That all happened, but in a different order.
Ryan lived in Hawaii for most of his life up until accepting a scholarship at Stanford University in California. Within four years, the guy managed to graduate with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He was no genius, but there was no mistake that his intellect was above the average standard. Graduation day marked his mother's independence especially after successfully persuading his parents to get a formal divorce. Besides, at that point Ryan's mother was living with her brother after being kicked out. After a couple years living in northern California working as an assistant engineer, Ryan finally saw his mother smile unlike before. She had married someone new. This time he was an Irish politician.
Ryan could have stayed in California, but he never trusted anyone after his father. The family of five shortly moved to Ireland only to find out that his stepfather was being framed. The situation seemed inexcusable, but even unbelievable to the public eye. Ryan's stepfather was a well-respected man. Mass shootings were not his natural cup of tea. Thanks to the case, it was a challenge for Ryan to get hired by any engineering company. His decisions to become a bartender and gravitate to underground fighting were necessary especially since he had to focus on gaining some family income. Ryan's stepfather was only earning enough for three people particularly during the crisis. A job with good tips and under the table income was exactly what they needed.

Eleanor is a very down to earth girl who prefers to live life as it comes. She lives in the present and tries to not worry or stress about the future, what will be will be!. She has her head on her shoulders and has always been quite mature for her age. people would say that Eleanor has an interesting outlook on life, she tends to focus on the positive than the negative in things and does this with people aswell.
Eleanor is very protective of her friends and family and would do anything to help them, even risking her own life. She isn't afraid to get down and dirty if necessary.
in saying all that, she does know how to have a good time and would never turn down a party or a chance to have fun.
Eleanor grew up in Dublin, Ireland and lived with her parents and two older brothers. When she was about 10 years old her oldest brother Paul died in a car accident along with his best friend, they had been drunk driving and crashed into a tree at the side of the road. This event ripped Eleanor apart as she never got to say goodbye to him before he passed. Just as she managed to pull herself back together, her other brother Sean died in a freak accident which devastated the Sheridan's. Her mother and father turned to alcoholism and turned their backs on her, their daughter and only living child. Eleanor moved in with her best friend as she coped with her brother's untimely passing and eventually decided that she needed a new and fresh start away from this town. And so she moved to Chicago, America where she befriended Sinead Sullivan (a girl from work) who the introduced her to one Finnian Sullivan.
After the outcome of the Romano-Sullivan war, Eleanor moved with Finn while he finished his medicine degree and she even learnt of him taking a pre-med course in the mean time. Once finished, Eleanor followed him on his travels around the globe to spread medicine and help to those less fortunate. During her time away, Eleanor was able to face her demons and now finally feels as though she can return to Ireland.
Finn Sullivan - Lover and best friend. She adores this man and finds him to be great company.
Sinead Sullivan - the two used to work together back in Chicago. Eleanor loves Sinead and her innocent nature and finds herself to be very protective over her friend.
Peter Callahan - Eleanor met Peter around the time when he first started working for the Sullivan's. She thinks he's very sweet and likes how he treats Sinead but if he ever hurt her ..... well you can only imagine.
James Porter - Eleanor had only met James a few times before her and Finn moved for College. She found him to be a tad intimidating
Lucy Porter - She also only met Lucy a few times in the past but found the girl to be nice and would find with more time, they could be good friends.
Conor Sullivan - Eleanor had heard lots about Conor from Finn and it is obvious that the two cousins were very close. She has met him a few times and enjoyed his playful nature and drunken antics. She would see him as a good drinking buddy, she just hopes that he has pulled himself together since the last time she saw him . She can't help but worry about him and the trouble he may get into if he doesn't cop on

Antonio Ventimiglia is an American citizen with Native Hawaiian and Italian roots. His mother was a housewife, while his father managed an auto shop. The kid was just five years old when he and his mother were kicked out of the house by his abusive father. Without a doubt, the situation and stages leading up the incident were traumatic for the boy even at such a young age. Fortunately, he and his mother had the opportunity to temporarily live with his uncle in Hawaii as his older brother completed college in California. Antonio and his mother lived with her brother for about three years with little to no visits from Adriano. However, the boy did notice a frequent guest often stopping by their house.
It was a shock to Antonio when his mother announced her new pregnancy. He was going to be a big brother! Mckenzie eventually arrived and by the time Adriano graduated from Stanford, the family moved to California along with Mckenzie's father. It was a bit odd for Antonio, but his siblings, mother, and mother's boyfriend lived in California for two years under the same roof. Once his mother and stepfather finally got married, they decided to move the family to Ireland.

Being the mastermind behind the Porter Families protection Persephone has developed the mentality that she has to keep everyone safe as even if one member of the family gets hurt she blames herself entirely, she would then spend weeks in her study figuring out way she to make her already strong protection plan even stronger. The Porter family means a lot to her and she’d rather die then see the day that they fall from grace.
Persephone has a extreme maternal side to her personality. This stems from having looked after siblings as a young girl but it has been enhanced when the protection of the Porter family children, she takes care of them as if they were her own flesh and blood. There was once a rumour circling around the village that’s if you mess with one of Porter children that Medusa would come after you. That ‘Medusa’ is Persephone.
Persephone doesn’t fall in love that easy but when she says that she love she you, she means it sincerely. Persephone truely loves the Porter family as Shen believes she found a place to belong but she also wants to love someone romantically. Maybe it’s seeing how Mr Porter is so happy with his wife that has encouraged her to find love, but deep down inside Persephone is just lonely.
Persephone was born is Greece but due to the economic situation her parents made the big decision to move the family to Ireland. It was a hard transition for the whole family especially Persephone who couldn’t speak English for the first year in Ireland.
Once Persephone got a hang of the language she became a real social butterfly as she made many friends with the children in her village, she used to spend hours playing with her new found friends in the lush Irish fields. This was the happiest time in Persephones life but then her parents were killed.
Her parents were killed by the local gang as they were in severe debt and to repay it Persephone had to become a messenger girl to keep herself and her little brother a float. She had to work for this gang for the next 10 years. It was hard but this job also led her to meeting James Porter.
The reason behind Persephone being offered a place in the Porter family was that every time he would visit with his children Persephone would look after them as her own. One time they visited Persephone saved one of the children from drowning in the lake after he’d jumped in to retrieve a toy boat. He then offered her a job and she immediately took it and began working with the family to secure their safety.
James Porter (Boss and Father Figure) : Persephone was invited to join the Porter Family gang when she saved one of his children from drowning. The offer that he made her had gotten Persephon out of a very toxic situation and she will be forever grateful towards him. Alongside being her boss Persephone has always felt that James was also like a father figure to her. When she needed advice she would go to him or if she were in trouble she would immediately go to him. She didn’t know how he viewed her but in Persephones eyes he was her saviour.
Jackson McCarthy (Sibling relationship): When these two were together they acted like they are children again. When Persephone first arrived at the Porter household she needed a lot of help settiling in and Jackson was right there to help her. He showed her around the house, around the village, he told her who to avoid and places to stay away from. Jackson also helped her with her job responsibilities for the first year she was at the Porter House as she didn’t have much of an idea of how to protect so many people but now she’s an expert at it but Jackson sometimes tries to butt into her work. These two look like siblings and act like siblings as they get on eachothers nerves but always have eachothers back.
Nikolai Kuznetsov (Lover) : Where to begin with Nikolai? The pair first met when Persephone was still a new face in the Porter Household. Nikolai has come to the Porter Household for a short stay and that’s when the two first hit it off. During that short stay the pair became inseparable, maybe it was their common backgrounds or just chance that they became so fond of eachother. Both felt a strong bond developing and naturally Persephone fell for him and boy did she fall hard. She’d never experienced a love like this before as Nikolai treated her like a queen and Persephone treated him like a king. Nikolai eventually had to leave as he had to continue his work but the pair still keep in contact through letters. Being apart for such lengths of time doesn’t affect their relationship as their strong bond always brings them back to eachother without fail,
Latimer Montag, goes by his last name though
Law, and ways to manipulate it to the families favor
Forgery, identity theft, money manipulation (most he doesn't use)
(more to be developed)
Anything knowledgeable (books, chess, exc...)

Seeing others in pain
Montag is a keenly intelligent man, self taught and self made into the man he is today. When it comes to work, he is a deadly adversary to have alongside you, but his ways will untimely benefit in the long run. Sarcastic and blase at times, while at others compassionate and thoughtful to the Porters, he feels as if they are his adopted family he never truly had. But ever since he could remember, Montag has been a bit off at times, a trait quite evident in his childhood, but buried deep within after those years. But, one may never know...
Latimer was born on April 21 to Hans Kopeka, a former Nazi turned hitmen, and an unnamed woman with the surname Morrison. Little else is known of his earlier life, due to the fact that he was orphaned only days after his birth, the only thing tying him to parents was his birth name. Clause Kopeka... Growing up in a Irish orphanage was a hard feat, having to deal with constant fights, bullies, and poverty were not a easy task. But as he grew in age, he grew two more in maturity. He learned that involving himself with the typical kids would cause certain failure for him, and so he learned to keep to himself. If noone knew him, noone woukd bother him. Books became his whetstone, and his brain became his sword.
At age 18 he was permitted to leave the orphanage labeled as a legal adult, and without hesitation he began his new life. Changing his name to Latimer Montag, he was able to forge the documents needed for acceptance into college, learning the craft from years of studying the topic and many more useful tricks. Montag flew through college with ease, quickly learning he had a photographic memory, allowing him to memorize the more grueling subjects than his classmates. And at age 27, he was out into the law field.
Becoming a small-name lawyer in Dublin at a large firm, Montag quickly rose the ladder as he developed his people skills among the competitive environment of lawyers. Seeing this new game as similar to his childhood, he quickly adapted to the situation, and in five years rose to become one of the top members of the firm.
That was when James Porter contacted the man, needing his services for a petty bailout of his brother-in-law, Conor. Doing the job quite easily, Mr. Porter frequented his work over the years, seeing the talented lawyer could prove useful to the family. And as trust grew between them, so did the cases, and so did the amount...
Jackson Mccarthy- Close friend and drinking buddy. Often play games and banter with one another. Business wise they heavily disagree, seeing as Montag prefers to wait things out and then strike, while Jackson is quick to rally. But in the end, there’s nothing a good bottole of vodka and bourbon that won’t fix it.
