Athela Prime
Thor took his seat at the bridge of the Asgard Hringhorni-class Heavy Battlecarrier Mjolnir. 182 kilometers long, it was one of the most powerful ships that the Asgard possessed. The Bridge itself was a large room with multiple screens and a large shielded glass window, allowing the crew to see what was ahead of them with their own eyes. Thor's chair was in the middle of the room with various holographic Control screens that Thor could bring up when he needed them. With access from everything such as weaponry to navigation. To his left and right, slightly below him, sat two commanders that assisted him.
He could see far Athela Prime below, covered in various Asgardian structures and buildings , Mjolnir was docked at one of the largest stations in the system, serving as a spaceport for the larger ships , as large as a moon. He could see AI engineerers flying all around the massive amount of ships that was docked here. Several taking off and flying away as he watched. He glanced quickly upon the ship being built slightly outside of the station. The reason for this was because it was simply too large to dock. Once finished, it would be 360 kilometers long, the greatest ship ever built by the Asgard. But it was not solely a military vessel, it would be the vanguard of a great Asgardian expedition to Andromeda.
A message appeared on the main screen, the combination of Asgard runes informing the vessel that they had clearence to take off. Thor proceeded by activating the ship thrusters, and enabling automatic ascent to space. The sound of the engines was heard as the tremendously large ship accelerated, moving further away from the station. He saw on the screen that four Naglfar-class battleships and two dozen cruisers took off behind Mjolnir. As planned. Despite the low numbers, Thor was not going on a diplomatic mission. During the Second Great War, when the Asgard had been preoccupied battling with the Invaders, a lesser race had taken it upon themselves to violate the Asgard Protected Planets treaty and attacked species that had barely reached an industrial era, raiding and razing the planet before leaving. They were Nomads and possessed below thirty ships, currently having moved to an Arid planet where they had taken up residence in it's ruins. Thor would show them the error of their ways in a brutal way. Striking them down like the infant species it was. Whilst he could have brought thousands upon thousands of ships, this was not to be a show of force. It would be a show of superiority.
The stars shone as beautiful as ever when the small fleet of ships entered hyperspace.
