Cameron tends not to think about his life before the apocalypse, mostly because his life didn’t have much purpose before it.
He wandered alone for a while, scavenging for food and avoiding the zombies as best he could, before he stumbled upon another survivor. It was a kid, no older than 16, holed up in a house in a gated community. He was the only survivor there, fighting off several zoms at once. Cameron knew he had to help, and so he did. But he got bitten in the process.
After waiting for two days in the house with the other survivor, Cameron didn’t turn. After that, the two traveled together, inseparable. Cameron is trying to find a safe place for the kid, and trying to get to the CDC so that maybe- just maybe- this whole thing can be over.

Background: Charles was in and out of prison most of his early childhood. After his 3rd grand theft auto attempt as a juvenile he was given two choices the Military or Prison. Charles took the 1st option. He enlisted in the Marines for the first time he found himself grounded. He climbed the ranks quickly. And went from Private to Staff Sargent in only four years. He did 3 tours over seas. After nine years the military gave him a Honorable discharged and diagnosed him with PTSD. When he got out he went to his local bar and was a prospect for the Ghost Riders. Just like the military he climbed the ranks and Was now the clubs Pres and it only took 15 years to do so. He was only President of a year before everything went sideways.
