Four separate factions can be chosen from, with two each belonging to a 'coalition' with aims that parallel each other. Each faction varies in goals, technology and size. These consist of:
The Pro-Colonials:
The Corps of the Colonial Marines, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines of the 15th Marine Division:
The 1st Battalion is a dispatch of Colonial Marines, provided the task of cementing the success of the New Halsey Colonial Effort and ensuring the safety of any personnel employed under the movement. Orders from CENTCOMM state the 1st Battalion answers directly to the Colonial Marshal unless their authority is within question.
The New Halsey Colonial Effort:
The Colonial Effort is an organisation of 5,000 individually selected civilian personnel tasked with the establishment of a fully operational human colony on the planet of Theia. Due to the actions of the Theia Separation Front, a militia has been drafted to support the Effort where the 1st Battalion cannot.
The Anti-Colonials:
The Theia Separation Front:
A separatist movement with more support than the local government lets on. The 'freedom fighters' of the T.S.F. paint themselves as a force for good, striving for independence from 'imperialistic' and 'tyrannical' governments such as the Republic of United Systems. As of recent, the T.S.F. primarily targets officials of the local government, along with members of the 1st Battalion - all in the name of freedom.
The Homblaselv Tribe:
The Homblaselv are native to the planet of Theia. They were there before humanity had even touched the surface of their world. Countless times, they have attempted to make it clear to the Colonial Effort that they are unwelcomed intruders that trespass their borders. As a result of their failed attempts to remove the Colonial Effort from the planet through peaceful means, the Tribe has taken up more extreme methods to get their way.

Avoid any form of metagaming or godmodding. Your character's skills and abilities will only relate to their professions (e.g. A Homblaselv Tribal will be completely clueless to the concept and use of firearms)
The maiming and/or killing of the characters belonging to your fellow peers is strictly forbidden without their formal permission.
Realism is expected to be maintained throughout the roleplay.
