Tribe Name:  Jalango

Location:  Southern border of the Iria Desert (#7), in a mountain range with caves.

Leader:  Jethro Sponze

Economics:  Very tribal.  They believe that you must channel and meditate to hear the spirits of the planet speak to them, the crystals are not natural to this planet, therefore they're evil and don't belong here.  There is no proper currency, they do fair trades, food for food, artisan goods for artisan goods, making them a very simple, but spiritual people.

They believe that everyone is connected, yes, even the Fomorian's and Dannan, and don't shy anyone away that needs aid, though they don't welcome in strangers for longer than necessary, so once the stranger is able to leave, they require them to do so.

Religion:  While being very spiritual they do believe in The Leviathon.  They also believe that someday there will be a Neko born who will be attuned enough with the spirits of the planet, that they will be able to speak and meet with The Leviathon to receive prophecies.

People:  The entire tribe is made up of only Neko Fomorian's, and usually no more than fifty at any given time.  This is sometimes due to the fact that they have several Neko's run off to become travelers every so many years, and of course they only live to be around one-hundred years old.

Group Name: Steel Striders

Location: Always moving. They are very common to find around Tir Berdeen, Especially Scrapyard Island. They are likely salvaging on Scrapyard Island this time of year. (#21)

Leader: Verdinia Callos

Economics: The Steel Striders do not trade. They are largely very communal, and extremely xenophobic. They refuse to even touch any sort of goods or services an outsider has to offer.

Religion: Steel Striders are mostly non-religious (about 90%), but a few of varying faiths are a part of the group. They have a severe aversion to Crystallists for obvious reasons.

People: Strictly Milesians.

Description: The Steel Striders are a wandering band of disgruntled Machina Engineers from Tir Berdeen upset with the way of life in the region. The thought of being ruled by corporations disgusts them, and they choose to strike out on their own, using their skills as engineers to get by. Their numbers are on the decline due their rejection of outsiders. They travel in a large convoy made up of a large variety of scrap vehicles, from tanks to large automobiles. Many of their vehicles are modified to be amphibious to simplify travel. They are incredibly xenophobic, and don't hesitate to shoot anything that comes to close to the convoy, even if it's something as small as a rat.
