I'm Emmy. I'm a twenty-three-year-old woman and have been happily married for nearly six years. I have two furbabies- A dog named Sophie and a cat named Marcy. I live in EST, though my sleep is nearly always flip-flopped upside-down. I enjoy watching The Office, and I partake in embroidery, cross-stitch, painting, and gaming. I currently do not have a job so that means a lot of free time on my hands! I do battle with a severe anxiety/panic disorder and depression, so if I'm not able to reply or anything I will do my best to communicate that to you. And on the flip side, if you are busy with life/work or you are struggling with your own mental illness, I am beyond understanding. I have a Discord dedicated to OOC nonsense, so just ask and I'll add you over there! As far as where our story will be written I prefer to keep it in private messages here or on Google Docs.
I exclusively write in the third person and past tense. I can write anywhere between four paragraphs to ten, depending on what is going on in the story and how much my writing partner is giving me. However, I do believe in quality over quantity. I typically prefer to write as the female and I only do female X male pairings, though that is not because I have anything at all against the LGBTQ+ community, it is simply out of my wheelhouse. I also only do original characters, even if they may be based on a character from a show, movie, or book, so I prefer my partners do the same. But I will absolutely base a plot loosely around some sort of fandom!
I'm looking for something with a lot of romance, angst, and drama. I have absolutely no "triggers." Though I will not write out sex scenes, anything before is fine, I just prefer to use the "fade to black" method when things are about to go down. I'm super into slice of life and constantly plotting up ways that things can go wrong. I love stories that can draw all kinds of emotions from me, not just the happy ones! I'm mostly looking for modern settings, though I'm not completely against some supernatural twists (vampires, werewolves, magically inclined, etc.).
This tab might seem kind of long and formal, so I apologize! I'm really a rather laid-back person, but I want to be specific here for both my sake and yours.
》You must be 18+ due to my own age and comfortability. Most of my plots involve trauma of all sorts, drug abuse, toxic relationships, mental illnesses, cursing, in other words- Things I would not be comfortable writing with minors.
》Be interested! I just cannot vibe with people who are void of personality and respond with a simple "Ok" when I'm trying to plot with them. If I'm invested, I would like it if you were as well.
》Be willing to brainstorm and move the plot along. When there is only one person trying it strains the whole story and drains the life out of the person doing all of the work.
》Similiarly to the rule above, be able to add in side characters as needed. I find it hard to keep a plot going when there are only two characters.
》Please have a good grasp of the English language. I would say I am rather detailed (not completely expert level) and I would prefer my partner(s) have the same ability. We all make mistakes, I know I do far more than I would like to admit, and that is completely fine! But please do not type something I have to decipher.
》 My post length varies. I can put out anywhere between four to ten paragraphs per reply depending on the setting, in-character chatter, inspiration, and what my partner is giving me. Please do not leave me with a tiny paragraph, let alone a one-liner.
》 I love fluff just as much as the next hopeless romantic, but I cannot participate in a roleplay where that is the only thing going on. Romance is a must for me, but there has to be something actually moving the story along.
》 This should go without saying, but absolutely no god-modding. Your characters are yours and my characters are mine, let's keep it that way.
》I personally only use realistic face claims and I would prefer you did as well, though I am fine with realistic digital art face claims.
》 I only write heterosexual pairings. I have nothing at all against the LGBTQ+ community, but that is out of my reach. I hope you understand.
》 I am more versed with feminine characters, and when given the option I will always choose to write as a female.
》At this time I am not looking to double.
》 I love angst. I love emotion. I love dark themes. I love things going horribly wrong. I love the drama. So with that said, I have zero triggers. However, I am not interested in writing smut, so if you're here for that, then I am not the writing partner for you. I am a firm believer in the good ole "fading to black" method.

She had a mental breakdown and was never the same. While all of her classmates went on to attend higher education she was stuck in a neverending cycle of debilitating depression.
Now it is five years later and she is working a dead-end job at a bar. She has never so much as looked at any man in any other way than platonically- Until one night when a new customer, Muse B, sits down at the bar that looks exactly like her now-deceased boyfriend. There is no way to describe him other than identical, right down to the freckle on his left ear.

Muse A is a cruel and cold-hearted man. Maybe he is part of a long line of stubborn and strong-willed men, or perhaps he is one of his own kind. He has lived his life believing and showing that if anyone gets in the way of his wants that they will pay the price. Does this mean murder and violence, or merely the breaking of hearts and minds? He is surely capable of both. He would, after all, stop at nothing to reap whatever benefits he is after.
But what if someone showed him there was more to life than power, riches, and a deep hunger that was never satisfied with the goals he had set? The goals he so craves?
I'm extremely open to any ideas you may have in mind for this one! Is he a vampire? Werewolf? Warlock? Is he just a power-hungry human? What if a certain Muse B was one of his captives? Maybe a reporter who was digging a little too close to the secrets he had stowed away? What about an arranged marriage deal?
And there you have it! Just a search thread for a gal hopelessly craving some deeply rooted angsty romance plots.
Even if you did not see a pairing or plot you fancied but have an idea for a modern plot, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. I'm all ears for some ideas, or to even brainstorm back and forth until we settle on something we can both enjoy!
