  fantasy ( shifters / demons&angels / old gods / wizards / lucid-dreamers )​
  • [shapeshifters x witches] They call it the Rougarou, imported from France. It keeps showing up in the underground fight clubs that no one's supposed to talk about. The coven has a bad feeling about it. They give you the task of finding out what the hell it is, since it's nothing like the werewolves next door.
  • [dragonrider x dragonshifter] Humans and Dragonkind have been living side by side for centuries. Some humans, more closely than others. Dragonriders are humans soulbound to a dragon at birth, which gives them the unique ability to 'call' the dragon into its human form, a trait that has been lost to most dragons.
  • [God of Winter x demon] There's a lot more to being a demon than just doing evil things, such as paper work, middle management, and worst of all, complete and total tyranny over their lives by high kings and princes. Of course, all that doesn't matter if you manage to catch the eye of some primordial god, which are beings grandfathered in prior to humankind, therefore do not have to live by the same laws. That's what all demons are trying to achieve. It's the only way out of the hell hole. Join some God's harem.
  • [wizard x god] The worst part of discovering the source of all magic, had not been that it was manufactured. Artificial. The worst part had been, that they'd been draining the life out of gods to tap into this power.
  • [lucid dreamer x demon] It's known in hell, that humans had the ability to traverse to both the heavens and hell in their mortal lifetime, when they dream, but they do not know of what they are experiencing, only that when they wake, their brain eases them into ignorance. Except for the lucid dreamers. They know there is something out there. Something all too familiar. Too bizarre and uncanny to ignore. But there is another truth. Direct interaction with mortals while they are dreaming is banned. Not for the sake of the mortals, but because demons and angels can become mortals if dragged into the mortal realm with the lucid dreamers. It's not a recommended choice of action and will result in both the heavens and hell putting out bounties for its head. Too bad, one made that mistake.

  • [tribal warrior x runaway soldier] He's used to routines, drills, orderly lines, commands, not self-trained, brutal techniques, self-awareness, and a passion for autonomy. Yet here he was, among the tribes of his enemy, trying not to die in one of their many... wrestling matches. Perhaps desertion had been a mistake.
  • [gladiator x ares] The gods have always lived among men, living as they do. They keep up the pretenses, eating, drinking, cavorting when need be, but they can really only live on one thing. For Aphrodite, it's love and romance. For Ares, it's always been war and the blood of men. Yet, the Empire has seen long years of peace. No battles to fight, no tribes to destroy, just sweet summer peace. So he goes to the one place there will always be a fight: The Coliseum. There, he meets a man, strong, beautiful, intelligent, but full of dark anger. The kind that breeds war. It's a match, made in heaven.
  • [prince x pauper] The king is healthy, hardy, and a hell of a warrior. His little princeling son, not so much. Born with a defect, he'll never be as strong as his father, nor as fast, or as agile. But the king, he was of a good heart, and did not blame his son for what he could not help. Instead, he held a competition, a tournament, to find a guardian for his son. He allowed any man to participate, as long as they did not have a criminal record. Unfortunate, because the man perfect for the job was the very same one he's been trying to catch and punish for years.
  • [tank x healer] The Cthulian wars have changed their entire civilization into a war machine. Humans are bred specifically for roles they'd play in the battlefront. T-types, are front-liners. Built like giants but lacking in independent thinking. S-types, are smaller, inconspicuous, but with eyes like hawks, able to see farther than any other type. H-types are rarest, still not genetically perfected, but have a unique blood property that can heal any wound, rebuilt any tissue, and mend anything organic. They are valued above all other types, and have the best quarters, the best food, and the best of everything. T-types on the other hand, live like cattle, where everything is communal, and food is nutrient packed saw dust. They are cannon fodder at best, so that's what they'll be treated as.

  • [experiment x head of security] There was a breakout at the facility, and his job is on the line. If he doesn't retrieve the experiment soon, his career is drained down the pipe. He just didn't expect to like the creature they vilified.
  • [superhuman x government agent] Every known superhuman is given an assigned agent, mainly as the eyes and ears of the government. They also act as caretakers, from time to time, especially if the superhuman is called to action, and gets injured. The agent is in charge of their well-being when not in combat. If a superhuman dies due to the agent's negligence or incompetence, the agent will be terminated, permanently. Too bad this kid has a death wish and martyr syndrome. Gonna be a tough one.
  • [genetic research x civilian] Biotech companies have notoriously hidden their 'research' from the public. Most for good reason. But sometimes the research tends to have other thoughts and finds itself in the good old suburban towns nearby. Thankfully for this particular research project, a friendly neighbor takes it in.

It's a habit I picked up when my replies were getting too long for forums. It's pretty similar to forum based rping, but instead of making a new post/reply, you just write underneath the other person's reply. I'm looking for either - or, so lmk if you're interested in any genre in particular !

My main (fantasy) character is looking for a source of eternal life/youth, and I thought you might be interested in creating a game based on that. Some small adventure.
Alternatively, I wanted to try something in modern fantasy setting, perhaps some dark detective with him in modern times, turning his minstrel job into a public figure (mid-popular singer?). In fact, these days, I prefer this one, to explore modern fantasy.

Other characters are available as well, but, since I don't know if you would prefer to RP as male or female, I decided to make a shot in the dark.

  • [treasure hunter x old god] The texts had indicated the relic was an object, an artifact, some mysterious vessel of power, but they failed to mention that the relic also happened to be hosted by a very living being of higher power. Thankfully, the god didn't mind the visit and let them go with some light punishment...Punishment of living the rest of their life as a grim reaper.

  • [timetraveler AU] Steve is part of timekeeper faction that makes sure timelines are not destroyed. Bucky is a timewarper and has been wreaking havoc for centuries, but now... Bucky has turned on the very hands that leashed him.
  • [werewolf AU] Ever since he was woken from his slumber, Steve has been adjusting to modern life as a vampire. The coven is welcoming his return, but an unlikely enemy shows up at their doorstep seeking sanctuary. Steve has no idea what to do with a werewolf, but something about Bucky rings too familiar in his head.
  • [demon AU] Steve shouldn't have been summoned, his seal should have been destroyed, but it's too late now. Bucky has been living in the mortal realm for centuries now, chained as a slave to the military who captured him. Steve is caught in the net, but Bucky has second thoughts and helps him escape. Now they must run together.
  Star Wars (kylo x hux)​
  • [mage AU] Kylo Ren is the bloodmage of Empyria, feared by men and monsters alike. Hux is just the war general in comparison, a fact, he's sorely accepted. Empyria's peace is at stake. A rebel faction has overtaken the castle and he'd whisked the mage away to safety, after the fight had rendered the mage unconscious. It was likely a mistake.
  • [dragonrider AU] Not everyone can imprint with dragons. Only the few who are deemed worthy. Hux had always thought it was pompous, meritless, and an obscene amount of collateral damage, but what did he know, he was only the High Lord of this nation.
  • [abo AU] Kylo is an Omega, but the Force helps mask the signs. With the injuries from D'Qar, he loses control of his masking and when Hux finds him to haul him back, it becomes rather difficult to ignore the signs. Enough to make them rethink their trajectory and what their future might hold. Especially considering they've accidentally formed a temporary bond.
