The Anicent Fall

Technology is at its peak for the ancient civilization of pure humans. High risers touch the sky and the world is lit up day and night with blinding lights. The planet from afar looks ill, with those individual lights mimicking a disease. Geovitae begins to suffer from the negligence of the humans and begins to self destruct. Massive natural disasters appear across the global while parts of the surface crumble into the weak mantle beneath it. The humans rush to underground bunkers to escape the devastating destruction. The gods who gave life to Geovitae struggle to keep the world from being completely destroyed. Their energy is drained, sending them into a deep sleep.

Revival

After decades of hiding in bunkers, the humans wait for the outside world to repair itself. Thanks to the power of the gods, the land still has hope to be sustainable for life and recover at an alarming rate. The first recovery process of Geovitae repairs the crust to be stable once more. The land shifts rapidly, shaking the ground and flooding low lands with water. Then, the atmosphere, tainted with chemicals, were luckily not harmful to some remaining creatures. The other unfortunate animals mutate under the change of environment. The newborn surface sprouts its own form of plants. The ice stretches once more across the poles.

Resurface

Mutated animals that rivaled monsters, discover the ancient bunkers. The pure humans are forced out of their bunkers after its strength has deteriorated from the past destructive events, allowing mutated monsters to break in and slaughter many of the surviving humans. With the once who made it to the surface, they discovered that Geovitae is still in the process of healing. The chemicals that changed some of the animals into monsters begin to affect the humans. While they try to survive the harsh winters and summers of the unbalanced planet, they relearn the basics of survival like their ancestors of old, who didn't have the luxury of technology.

Regroup

After establishing communities once more, humans become territorial and organized. Mutated humans are categorized by their appearance- elves, dwarfs, giants, beastmen- and are ostracized by the communities. The population is growing at a more rapid rate now that Geovitae is more stable than before. Shrines are built to worship the sleeping gods as a way of thanks for saving their lives. The first area is Zanna, the oldest location in Geovitae, which grows into a large town in just a few years.

The Era of Leaders

The mutated animals that are now known as monsters become a problem to the defenseless small towns that barely begin to form. Leader-like figures of all races step up to organize the weak of their group and train them into fighters. The community in Zanna who worship the Moon Goddess, Luna, form the Light of Luna, a organization that fights the monsters pouring out from the forest down the southern border. The people in Fodem, a much smaller community, form the Bookkeepers, in hopes to preserve this historical event of heroes. Even the representatives of notable elvish clans makes names for themselves as the clans become more efficient in moving around without dying at the hands of mother nature. A giant tribe as the Bedouins take part in aiding smaller communities of any race to move to other parts of the globe. The dwarfs, who were a tight nit community split themselves in half because of disagreements; one group moving to the west while the other moves to the Northern Dustcaps.

First Mesa War

Population booms in all communities. The land is named after the ancient cities that once stood in Geovitae- Lemus, Keilus, Tenus, Apus. Cities and towns are born. What peace they thought they had is disrupted. After the assassination by betrayal of the first emperor, the new second emperor of Keilus, Emperor Malificus, declares Keilus as a country under his domain. Keilus's borders expand with his ironfist, controlling the Light of Luna to push back the smaller communities close to the border. The first king of Lemus, King Edwin Highwyn, declares war on Lemus. Tenus with their twin rulers, the Left and the Right, prevent Kelius from entering Tenus any further. Apus is protected by the forest borders so they do not take part. The war lasts for a decade until Keilus finally stops their push and a peace treaty was made. Emperor Malificus becomes silent.

The Search for Ruins

A mining incident in Tenus reveals an old bunker of the ancients. The Left and Right of Tenus send their own military to discover the secrets within the ruins of the past. Large monsters are the residents of these broken bunkers, being worse than the regular monsters outside. After clearing the mutated animals, pieces of history are found in the bunker from small items like a broken watch to dusty shrines of the gods that made up one whole room. After hearing the news, the Left establishes the Diggers, a group of archaeologists who are willing to explore any found ruins and document their findings.

War within Lemus

A revolution breaks out in Lemus over the dispute of social classes and the government. The elvish clan of Kelala Forest make a more intimidating presence, making a stance that elves have a place in Lemus. The benevolent king of Lemus, tired and weary from the First Mesa War, gives the control of the country to the people. They create a democratic system where five chancellors represent sectors of Lemus, a house of representation for the races occupying Lemus and still having the king as the face of the country.

206 [A.F.]

The Second Age

The news of Lemus's fast swap in government encourages the people in Keilus to begin their our revolution. Unfortunately, the second emperor wasn't like the king of Lemus. With the trained forces of Keilus, the people were forced into succumbing to their selfish emperor and their pursuit for better treatment is halted. Slavery of the mutant humans is now publicly known and displayed out in the open. "Pure" humans take most of the upper class, joining in on what they believe is game. Crime rates grow and social ranks by birth can't be changed without help from the rich.

While the terror in Keilus becomes a norm for the people, the Diggers in Tenus discover the Light Core. They label the unusual relic with this name for its odd glow and spherical shape. They believe it is a source of energy that the ancient civilizations used to use.

271 [A.F.]

Second Mesa War

The hidden information of the Light Core is brought upon the ears of the other countries. Keilus, now ruled by the son of the second emperor, fears of the potential unknown threat and begins to push on Tenus's borders with their forces. Lemus, having a much more stronger bond with Tenus, provides backup for the smaller country. Once again, the three countries are sent into battle. It doesn't take long other than the First Mesa War, for truce to happen after the Bookkeepers in Apus make an offer to keep the Light Core on their neutral territory. Apus is known to not be fighters and they provide many valuable things to the three countries so they end up being neutral in all political conflict. A treaty is made and the Light Core is stored in the huge libraries in Apus for further examination.

Age of Exploration

The beastmen, a race that hasn't been heard from for almost a century, appear in the most uninhabitable parts of the globe. Their appearance and long silence till now is mysterious. But with this spike in appearance from a race that's been hidden, more unwanted appearances come. More dangerous monsters that are similar to the ones occupying the bunker ruins begin to pop up more often in the sand dunes and waters. More ruins being to sprout out of their buried spots, making many people curious. The ports are now known for foolish adventurers to set sail in hopes to find something valuable. Some of these adventurers become the first pirates.

473 [A.F.]

End of the Desert War

After the Age of Exploration ended with less people wanting to venture out into the ocean and keep to the Butterfly Sea, the tension between Keilus and Lemus begins when a new trading system is made in 355 [A.F.] This tense silence goes on for decades as the pursuits and beliefs of both countries clash. These disputes were problems from ship placement, border crossing, display of slavery, economics, and even a single woman. The silent war physically breaks out after the port, Rubees is set ablaze with clues to the arson being related to Keilus. Troops are sent to the border near the mountains to fight. It was as if both sides were testing who could last longer in the battle field but what they didn't know was that their people suffered from the consequences. The physical war lasts for years with no end for the two countries with stubborn governments. It takes the death of the one lady, that was loved by both leaders, to stop the war.
