โ jayden was born into a broken family. his father was a rich businessman who had divorced his mother prior to his birth. though his father sent money over every month and tried to keep in contact over text message, he never showed his face and his mother suffered emotionally for having raise a child all on her own. she had postnatal depression, and though she tried to keep it together to raise her child, she found herself sinking further and further.
โ when he was seven, his father cut off all contact with the two of them. the money stopped coming in as well after a month of his disappearance, and his mother struggled to raise a child on her own while being the sole source of income. by then he was old enough to question why he didn't have a father, further adding to her list of burdens.
โ she took up a job as a waitress in a nearby diner, leaving him alone at home. when he was about twelve and old enough to think he knew everything, he sneaked out of the house, befriending some of the older kids who had less-than-desirable intentions. this became a cycle for the next few years of his life, and he picked up smoking. soon enough, he began to acquire drugs as well.
โ when he was about fifteen or sixteen, he was dared by his friends to steal something from a nearby convenience store. determined to prove himself to them, he carried out the dare, but was caught by the store owner and then subsequently taken to the police. his mother received the call when she was working, and rushed to the police station, heartbroken upon learning the situation.
โ she reprimanded jayden for it, but he refused to listen, and their relationship became strained. their shouting arguments grew louder and harsher, and he often ran away from home to rebel against her. even back then he was showing signs of bipolar disorder, but no one cared or knew enough to get him checked out. soon enough this became their daily life, and his mother sunk back into depression, unable to take it anymore. while she had tried to stay strong for her son all these years, the trauma of her son refusing to listen to and rebelling against her was enough to push her beyond the breaking point.
โ he came home one day to her mother lying on the ground. he only found out after when he rushed her to the hospital that she had overdosed on sleeping pills. shaken by guilt and fuelled by self-hatred, his symptoms only began to grow [/div] [div class="tabContents tabContents05 show"]

felix is an observer. he never speaks unless he absolutely has to, and he only does so after knowing the facts. his observant nature keeps him in the know about everything, which can be deceiving because people mistake his silence for a lack of intelligence. felix is also pretty good at keeping secrets, as evidenced by his silence ever since he was admitted.

felix has done his best to keep his temper under control over the years but when people do or say certain things to trigger him, it's hard to control him. felix also suffers from a myriad of mental illnesses and all of these affect him day to day, even with simple decision making.

โ felix's life has been nothing but complicated. his mother was a second generation immigrant and so felix was born a citizen of the united states. they were never very well off though, especially since he had no idea who his father was for all of his life. felix was born as an accident, and his mother, who'd gotten careless with one of her many night time customers, couldn't bring it upon herself to abort him.
โ as a child, felix's mother was occasionally on top of things. he spent most of his time under the care of nannies whenever she could afford it. otherwise he was looked after by waitresses at the club she worked at. it worked for a while, but his mother slowly became more interested in the drugs she'd been introduced to, rather than taking care of her son. all the money she made went toward satiating her cravings instead of buying clothes for her child.
โ when felix was eight, his mother had trouble finding work, and she fell into a slump. instead of pleasuring people for money, she did just about anything for even a gram of coke because she felt that without it, she wouldn't live. ultimately, because she was so desperate, she had a combination of drugs that didn't sit well with her and it ended in her losing her mind and slitting her throat. felix was the one that found her in the living room the next morning, blood having already soaked deep into the carpet.
โ felix was put into foster care after that, deeply affected by what he had witnessed, partially because he didn't fully understand what had happened. felix constantly bounced around the system since he caused a lot of trouble, never quite fitting in and not willing to accept another family as his own.
โ felix slowly entered his teenage years, where he got mixed in with a bad crowd. they did drugs, sold drugs, had their way with people, and most people feared them. felix never totally fit in, but it was the first time he felt accepted somewhere. it wasn't until things became too extreme for him that he finally snapped.
โ most people are unsure what happened, and there are various versions of the truth. the most popular one is that felix was found in his latest foster home at the age of seventeen, blood covering his clothes, while the three members of his foster family โ foster mother, foster father and older foster sister โ were found dead in the master bedroom, gruesomely slaughtered. felix was questioned, and tried, but he never spoke a word. it was like he had suddenly become mute, and though he had the blood of his foster family on him, there was no murder weapon to be found. in any case, he was to be tried as a juvenile, so instead of being sent away, he was put into a mental institution for rehabilitation.
โ after trying to take his own life twice, and the life of two other patients, felix gained a reputation. the other patients gave him space, and with some good behaviour he earned certain privileges, but it was the jobs of the guards and the psychiatrists to make sure nobody set him off again, because it usually didn't end well.
