Although tending towards the occasional awkward movement - as he's still adjusting to this drastic height change having previously been only 5"5 the summer before - not much else has changed about Damian. damian is the type to keep a smile on his lips regardless of what turmoil is brewing within.

He's a [div class=tags]closed-book[/div] in this sense, though most never see past that surface-superficiality he's quite accustomed to putting out. Although some will undoutedly perceive him as superficial or even fake, those are really just masks he's grown extremely accustomed to putting on when in the midst of strangers. He's always been quite popular and generally well-liked by most of the student populace. Being the [div class=tags]thoughtful[/div] sort, he's always registered that a good amount of that respect comes from the fact that they cover his grandmother and his family name quite extensively in every history class. Most who attempt to get close to him do so because of this, and as a result he's generally quite [div class=tags]distrusting[/div] of new faces, and it really does take a lot for him to really open up to others. The few he does get comfortable around earn a [div class=tags]dedicated[/div] friend whose trust is a hard thing to shake and friendship that is even harder to break.

Possessing of a fair bit of [div class=tags]loyalty[/div] towards those he feels fealty too as well as a [div class=tags]strong moral compass[/div], damian was raised in the school of thought that 'injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere', and views the world as such. He's never been the type to seek others company when he feels he's prone to "flying off the handle". Instead, he prefers to go off by himself or perhaps even exercise off that negative emotion. He knows if he were ever to let-loose like that, put aside the impact of his words for even one second, even have one stray hair out of place - there would be his family's disappointment to undoubtedly grapple with, the unforgiving, judgmental eyes of the public, etc. It's better this way, he figures.

As he tends towards keeping most of his negative emotions to himself, he rarely if ever resolves conflict between himself and another person. However in doing this, he'll find himself no longer wanting to associate with said person, breaking up sometimes good friendships in the process. And though he tries to step back quietly, his legs are shaking enough to disrupt a nearby pile of logs, the sound being enough to trigger the creature from jolting and heading at breakneck speed in the direction of the disturbance, mouth parting to show rows of tiny, sharp teeth as it roars - a sound that sounds like fear itself.

- Damian is raised alongside his older cousin - Beatrix - in his uncle Seth's household. That house, in all of its warmth and familiarity, is all he remembers of his childhood. His biological parents are but distant specks in his memory.
