You may place your character sheets in this thread!

I'll be looking through them on my own and making sure everything is a-okay to go for the roleplay. If not, I'll message you and allow you to edit your posts!

APPROVED CHARACTERS AND USERS WILL HAVE A HEART REACTION UNDERNEATH THEIR SHEETS! PLEASE DON'T ADD REACTIONS OTHERWISE.

Although Iris’ abilities are very weak currently.

Weaknesses
Any kind of magic/abilities using water can easily counter her. Also, one of her biggest weaknesses is being human. Iris is considerably slower and physically weaker than other species.

Personality
Iris is a warm and friendly girl. Many think of her as loyal and considerate. She tries to help others whenever possible. However, this was a façade to cover up her insecurity. Iris goes out of her way to seem friendly to try to make friends but secretly fears that others see her as “fake”. Often getting lost in her own thought, Iris seems absent minded and doesn’t pay attention while in class. This can cause her to miss important topics.
Habits
When nervous, Iris tends to rub a blue stone she keeps in her pocket. She bought this stone to stop picking at her nail polish. She also has the same breakfast every day; toast with strawberry jelly. She tells people that its some sort of secret ritual but she’s actually just a picky eater.

Appearance
Iris has light brown hair that reaches her mid back and light blue eyes to match. She is a fairly short girl only reaching 5’2”. This often causes frustration as she cannot reach many high places. Iris is often found in jeans and a loose comfortable top such as sweaters. She pins the hair out of her face with a light pink bow on her right side.

History
Iris grew up with a human father and a witch mother. While growing up, she was disinterested in her mother’s teaching in magic such as potion making and expanding her fire powers. When she got older however, she regretted not taking her mother’s lessons more seriously as she was much weaker than her relatives. Although her parents never showed any but support for their daughter, Iris couldn’t help but feel she had disappointed them in some way. She realized that if she wanted to make her parents proud she would have to learn how to become a stronger witch without their help. Before coming to the school, Iris vowed that she would return as a witch that could make her mother proud.

weaknesses: Hotheaded, arrogant, jealous, can’t control temper well, no proficiency in any weapon except perhaps a knife, no magical abilities. Additionally, those that come with being a Werewolf - less control of his temper on a full moon.

─ abilities Like most of her species, she can briefly fly and has an affinity to nature. Specifically plants, currently she’s able to make plants grow slightly faster and healthier, but perhaps in time her ability may grow.

─ weaknesses Fairies are generally frail and small, and Lyra is no exception. Standing at 4’5 and generally looking far younger than she actually is, mistaking Lyra for a child is very easy, and the fact she has the physical capabilities of a child leaves her easily injured. She’s also difficult to talk to, being almost always lost in a world of her own, and she’s easily manipulated by her few friends.

Lyra is most often seen staring at the wall, with a small smile on her face off in some world far from here. A very creative girl, but one with few friends due to her lack of social skills. She’s optimistic and naive, often coming across as rude due to a lack of manners but rarely meaning any harm, Lyra's detachment to the world often gets her into trouble. This is not to say she’s stupid, she’s fairly intelligent, she’s just an odd duck.

─ habits/quirks An odd tendency to get lost in her own world, and a tendency to rock herself back and forth on her feet while standing.

─ fears She has a mild phobia of flies. No one really knows where it started.

─ likes/dislikes She likes reading, painting, anything creative really, and she dislikes most things physical, massively struggling with them. She especially enjoys gardening.

─ backstory/history Lyra never knew her birth parents. As far as all official documents are concerned, they simply disappeared off the face of the earth one day and left their infant daughter alone in her crib until she was found, malnourished and crying. Her rescuers were unaware that the child was a fairy, and she was sent into foster care. The first few years of her life were a blur, until she was adopted by the family she considers her own. The Peterson’s were two older humans, a man and a woman, who adopted due to infertility. They were also loving parents, who supported Lyra even as she struggled throughout her life, never fitting in, always being odd, never feeling quite normal. The letter to Saint Joseph’s was a shock to her parents, but a comforting explanation of her life to Lyra.

Abigail is very sweet and kind. She was when she was alive, and that carried over to when she died. She's quite energetic - more so now because she literally can't run out of breath - and loves to talk with people. She loves making friends and hanging out with her old ones. She also loves to make people smile, especially if they were sad.

Abigail is very short (4'5") for her age. She has a ghostly blue hair that was strawberry blond when she was alive. Her eyes are empty sockets despite her seeing with perfect clarity. She wears a simple dress that she died in (She doesn't know how or if she can change her outfit). Her whole body is a ghostly see-through white-ish color.

Abigail was born into a happy family. She was an only child and loved deeply by both her parents. She had a bunch of friends, got good grades, and was an overall social butterfly. She never struggled a lot like most other students. She grew up into a beautiful girl, although small for her age. Her mother had been small too. But when she got older her family got tighter with money. They moved to a cheaper place that wasn't as nice as their previous place, but they could afford it.
Abigail walked to school everyday because of how close they were to it. But one day on her way home she was followed. She never realized it until it was too late and she gagged and blindfolded in someone's car. She was scared out of her mind, praying for any kind of miracle.
Nothing came.
Her kidnapper took her for his own sadistic pleasure. He beat her and tortured her daily. His favorite was when he removed her eyes and had her try and escape blind and bleeding. When he grew tired of her he finally killed her. She was thankful for her end, but she found she was a ghost. She could only watch the world move before her. She eventually found a school that would help her figure out what was happening.

  In life Lucas was a cynic and a skeptic. By the time he was thirteen, he reasoned that everything had a cost, even kindness. What he learned he took with a grain of salt, and his biggest pet peeve soon became the misuse of the word "literally." He believed that nothing happened for a reason, that everything was random. On a family trip to Disneyland, his cousins smiled and laughed and basked in nostalgia while Lucas shuffled along, lamenting capitalism and the scores of poorly treated park employees. At some point in his youth, he convinced himself that exposing the truth was more satisfying, more important, than living the lie.
  
  That wasn’t to say Lucas was an outcast. His absolute dismissal of the social hierarchy may have been why people liked him in the first place. Not that he'd ever get the chance to ask any of them.
  
  When Lucas died he woke up. Before, he would have been the last person to believe in “that supernatural nonsense.” But then he discovered the honest life he fought so hard to build was a complete and utter sham. In death Lucas asks "How?" and "Why?" (mostly) without his usual snarky tone or mocking comebacks. Now he'll believe almost anything. If someone were to say an alien moved in next door, he'd think, 'We should probably make contact.' Though hard facts and science ruled his life, he had to admit they were failing him in death.​

  On paper, Lucas is tall. In person, he is an awkwardly stretched out young man whose body is—was—still catching up to his limbs. He has long legs and arms, but his shoulders aren’t too broad and his chest is a little...deflated. When he was alive he had a lithe, slightly muscular build, but death does funky things to the body. Because his joints lock up periodically, Lucas walks with a jerky, uneven limp, and his movements are rarely fluid. His once olive complexion is now a gaunt, grey-green pallor; his once dark eyes are now a milky blue and sunken in deep, bruised sockets. His hair is dirty blond, curly, and a touch on the long side, sometimes combed but never styled. He wears the same casual outfit most days: plain sweaters, jeans, sneakers, and a navy blue beanie. He calls his look "inconspicuous." There is an earthy smell about him, like potting soil, which, thankfully, is a step up from putrid decay.​

  Lucas was the middle child of five, born to academic parents who were inquisitive by nature. Perhaps their habit of questioning others and penchant for intellectual debate encouraged an extreme sort of curiosity, ingraining skepticism instead of wonder. Having four siblings who, though not cruel, were relentless pranksters taught Lucas to to be wary of the world. Would his milk be spiked with vinegar? Would he find his school books replaced by blocks of wood? Would he be tricked into believing his name was actually Linus... again?
  
  It would seem Lucas had a dreary life, but truth be told it wasn't that bad. For all his distrust, he still had friends. They'd have bonfires on the beach, surf, maybe jam a little if someone brought a guitar. Though it took several years to warm up to his peers, he eventually gave in. He was, after all, only human.
  
  Until he died. Surfing accident. When he wiped out, the waves pulled him deep and he never came up on his own. He woke up in an unfamiliar room with a head full of fuzz. He couldn't see clearly. He couldn't hear. And when someone came to his bedside to explain in a soft, kind voice what had happened, he couldn't understand. It took a full year before he fully came to terms with his new situation and another six months after that before he could say the word "zombie" out loud.​

At long last, here it is! It is well past my bedtime so apologies if what I've written sounds a bit muddled. My character is now at your mercy, Ali.

  Remi was born to a human mother, her father unknown for most of her life. For the most part, she lived a normal life, or as normal a life can be with a single working mother and many awkward questions about who her father was when she was young. Over time, she just came to accept her father wasn't in the picture, and assumed it was because he didn't want anything to do with her.
  
  It wasn't until Remi turned thirteen that her paternal inheritance started to show. She complained of back pains just below her shoulder blades for months. Eventually her mother relented and took her to the pediatrician, who order her an x-ray to see what was up with her back. Turns out, she was suddenly growing two appendages in her back. A few months after that, they started to show on her skin, two small lumps. The worst part was now Remi could make them move if she thought really hard about it.
  
  The day before her surgery was scheduled to remove the lumps, which the doctors thought was cancer, Remi was rushed to the ER. The lumps had been growing for almost a year now, and finally they burst open, revealing a brilliant pair of snow white wings. At least, they were snow white once all the blood was cleaned off the feathers. In their haste to keep Remi from dying of blood loss, the doctors almost amputated her wings there and then, were it not for her mother's intervention and expressing her wish to keep the wings, Remi would have been wingless.
  
  The day after, Remi was withdrawn from the public school system, homeschooled until the age of 18 and not allowed to go outside for whatever reason. Remi's mother told her that her father was an angel sent from the heavens - Remi didn't believe her at first, since Remi's mom was a bit of a religion fanatic. But once her wings sprouted, Remi no longer doubted it. For fear of how others would treat her, she didn't leave the house. No one would believe that her father was an angel, they'd treat her like a freak show. It wasn't until she received her acceptance letter in the mail that Remi was allowed to leave the house.
