life.

[div class=container][div class=description]the fallout was seven months ago, and the wound hasn't healed for everyone yet. or maybe it has. but they were so close, and all of them were happy, proud to be friends. none of them know exactly what happened to make them fall apart so quickly -- they had been friends for years -- but all of them refuse to talk to one another. maybe it was the fact that they were a mixed bag from the start; bad boy and good girl, jock and star soccer player, prom queen and goth. and then there was lilly. they all loved lilly. everyone loved lilly. but the one thing that she loved was them, and when she couldn't have them anymore, it nearly broke her.

now lilly's missing, and the gang's back together for a morbid reunion.

they don't know what happened, and the air between them is a little less than amiable, but the only way they can figure out what happened to her is diving back into their pasts, and together. not everyone is willing to share the nitty gritty of what happened after the fallout, but do they have a choice? with all the different theories flying around, will they even be able to stay together long enough to find out what happened?

[div class=name]her
love.
[/div]
[div class=container][div class=description]"putting weed in the locker room vents was my biggest achievement."
the bad boy;
everyone knows him, and he's either feared from a distance or respected from a distance. he's the one your mom told you to stay away from, that your best friend told you to never fall for. he might seem like all he knows is failing classes and cursing people out, but he was more emotionally invested in the friend group than one might think; and the fallout? it tore him apart. despite his happiness about the group being back together, the conditions that the reunion is under make him anxious -- especially because his interests in lilly might have been a little bit more than platonic.

"sorry, can you stop texting me? i'm trying to focus."
the good girl;
she's the face of the student council, the one that everyone thinks is annoying but the teachers love. she's snappy and quick-witted, but most people just refuse to see past her test scores and fun facts. she's as socially adept as anybody else, but lilly was the only one who she felt saw that; which is why lilly's disappearance shook her to the core. her grades are slipping, and her parents are getting tougher and tougher on her. she's ripped in between the want to keep her grades up and satisfy her parents and the need to search for her missing friend. she doesn't have time for both, and she doesn't have time to choose.

"yeah, it's my fourth concussion."
the jock;
he's one of the key players on the football team, but things aren't easy for him. though the team appreciates him, nobody else seems to realize all the work he puts in; including the coaches. now, after a bad concussion, he's been benched, and he's not sure if he'll ever see the field again. and now, with lilly gone, he has more time than ever before on his hands. a little more than he's comfortable with, actually, because his coaches seem set on the idea that he's on steroids. with his coaches constantly nosing around in his business and lilly's disappearance haunting him, he's not sure how much more he can take before something has to change. required to have football as an extracurricular.

"i'm literally not wearing the brace for attention, shut up."
the soccer player;
she's the school's best soccer player, but secretly, she's frustrated that her sport is the only thing anyone seems to know of her. she's a go-getter, having single-handedly secured school funding for the team, and she's devoted to her sport. recently, she's been making an effort to get to know more people, to show them her real personality; but lilly's disappearance made her withdraw from everybody else, hurting her soccer performance and worrying her friends. she's desperate to keep her reputation up, but lilly's disappearance is hitting her hard. required to have soccer as an extracurricular.

"my mom kinda spends more money on my skincare than my education, but that's ok."
the prom queen;
nobody can say they expected her to be prom queen. she's stunningly pretty, annoyingly so, but she never really talked to people. sure, she's nice, but she's content being alone. not lonely, just alone. the others were really the only ones she talked to, so after the fallout, she was stuck trying to go back to her old ways of being alone. eventually, she did, but then she was chosen as prom queen, and now she's in an uncomfortably bright spotlight.

"i can wear whatever i want." [reserved, probably.]
the goth;
her whole personality is designed to fly in the face of the school and everyone in it. with bold, flashy, dark outfits, it's impossible not to notice her, and that's what she wants. with an academic record littered with failed classes and suspensions, she's having a harder time ignoring what the future might hold. in reality, she misses everyone dearly, especially lilly, but after so many years she's not sure if she knows how to let down the facade.

[div class=container][div class=description]hey all! its letters here, thanks for reading all of that! for this rp, i'm looking for a small group of six players. i have a few rules, but nothing too bad.

- please try to post at least once a week (of course with exceptions! if that doesn't work for you, let me know, and we can work something out.)
- quality over quantity! i appreciate seeing effort put into posts, so it won't be a problem if you don't post a ton as long as you put effort in.
- this will not be first come first serve, meaning i will be accepting characters as i see fit.
- there will be a discord for the rp, but the ooc thread here will still be up.
- please be civil and nice!
- i'd really love to see diversity here. lgbt and poc are of course welcome and appreciated!
- also, most roles aren't required to be a certain gender. if you want a role but with another gender, please just let me know!
- this rp is set in a highschool, and while of course the characters are going to be in that age range, i'd prefer if they were 17-19.
- i'll dm you the discord link once you express interest, and after the first few bites, i'll put the cs thread up!

name — nia odelle
nicknames — ...nia.
age — seventeen
gender — female
sexuality — straight / maybe bicurious
role — the goth
persona //

positive traits — honest, outwardly confident, courageous, outspoken
negative traits — sassy, rude, critical of herself and others, sometimes defiant for the sake of being defiant
likes — the smell of bleach, musky candles, new acrylics, cursing in public, shock, doing decent without effort
dislikes — broken nails, high-pitched voices, annoying people with god complexes, bias
extracurriculars — surprisingly enough, academic bowl, which she is amazingly terrible at, and gardening, which she is amazingly good at.

persona — let her use a finger, and you can bet it'll be the middle one. nia is fiercely defiant, her whole attitude designed to fly in the face of whoever makes the mistake of letting her know they're offended. seeing other's shock translates into glee for nia, and so she takes true pride in being as rash and bold with herself as she wants. at first it was just a coping mechanism to deal with the stresses of going into a more rigorous social and academic environment, but now it's become something that she's so used to it feels fake. in the beginning it was an act, and she fully knew that; but now this facade is so intertwined with who she used to be that she's utterly lost. every once in a while she feels a twinge of panic when she reaches for a version of herself that's not built around being rude and can't find anything, but not being who she is now makes her feel equally panicked. for now, she's just hanging on to her last thread of sanity and laughing at it all, classic nia style.

backstory //
X
nia odelle. a beautiful blonde, striking portrait of her mother with her father's last name. she was the perfect baby girl, and her parent's pride and joy. nia's youth wasn't really anything interesting, but if you ask her parents, they'll remark about how she was a diamond in the rough with a sad sigh. nia was always bright, and was accepted into a rigorous private school for middle school due to her academics. however, nia didn't take well to having to leave all her friends behind. at first her response to this was innocent enough; she dyed her hair and started acting out. her parents were, of course, concerned, but tried to quietly be there as the "phase" passed.

sadly for mr. and mrs. odelle, their approach of staying quiet was a terrible mistake. nia saw the new freedoms she had and her mind connected it with her rebellious behavior. she started acting out more and more, jerryrigging ways to sneak out of the house and becoming more and more crude at school. reports of her bad behavior started pouring in, and by ninth grade, her grades were so low she was forced to return to public school. at this point nia's parents had all but given up; their resistance, at first determined, had wavered into a sad resignation with the drastic transformation their perfect baby had took.

but the real breaking point for the family was when, in tenth grade, nia snuck out and bought a fake id so she could get a tattoo and a nose piercing. when her parents saw the tattoo on her forearm and the stud in her nose, they were livid. they threatened to kick her out, turn her into the police, all through waterfalls of swears and hair-pulling. nia? she just sat there silent. she'd become so used to the frustration that she was just waiting for it to pass. but this time it didn't, and nia's parents refused to talk to her afterwards; and they still haven't. this was what originally made her turn to lilly. she was desperate and searching for someone to confide in, and quickly found solace in lilly's warm attitude.

nia won't admit it, but she loved everyone in the group dearly. of course, she always joked about hating them, but they really were the reason why she hung on. in fact, the fallout was the reason she started doubting her identity in the first place. nia's been lonely ever since, and while she's nearly ecstatic that the group is back together, she's stuck in between trying to maintain that "don't care" attitude that got her through all these years and laying herself bare to the people she once considered her best friends. and never mind the circumstances...

Once the layers are peeled back from her persona at school, Amara is quiet, caring and sensitive. She is more of a listener than a talker and often finds herself listening attentively to someone else’s ideas or concerns to her own disadvantage. She’s an extremely empathetic girl, if one of her friends is going through a hard time then she’ll feel that same burden plaguing her mind. She’s the type of friend who would listen and then immediately try finding a solution to help their problem. She is perceptive about people and how they’re feeling. She’s often reluctant to engage with others who she senses that someone’s intentions are not pure or people who she gets a ‘gut feeling’ for that she probably won’t be able to get along with, and can thus be hard to get to know. One thing surprising about Amara is that although she appears to be gentle and reserved, she often surprises others with the intensity of her values when they’re criticised. She can’t understand for the life of her why someone would be against her values like peace and equality.

Amara is guided by a set personal values instilled in her by her religion and her parents. She is intensely idealistic, and can only imagine a happier and more perfect future if she follows the path she has set for herself. She strives for a world filled with peace where all people can truly be happy and be themselves. She can easily become discouraged by the harsh realities of the world, but she often brushes it off in stride as she is motivated and persistent. She has an intrinsic drive to not only do what’s best for her but also best for other people, what she can do to make other people’s lives better. In an ideal world she wants to have meaningful and deep connections with other people. She doesn’t open up about herself freely but appreciates having emotional intimacy with a few people (like Lilly). She values authentic connections with people she can trust.

[/div][/div][div class=tab3 style=display:none][div class=scroll][div class=bigtext]backstory[/div]
One summer, during the late 1980’s, two Muslim Kurdish refugees were granted entry into the country after being persecuted from their homeland by Iraq’s cruel dictator. Their names were Şana Hassani and Yusuf Yilmaz. Both Şana and Yusuf had never known a life of comfort. So needless to say, the western world was surprising to them. They quickly settled into a quiet but arduous lifestyle. Their experience instilled a mindset into them. A mindset to do better, to become better – they wanted their children and future generations to have all the luxuries they were never allowed to have or never could afford. Both of them agreed that the only way this was attainable was through a hard and non-forgiving work ethic. Years of working odd-jobs, long hours and some contracts that were like slave labour finally paid off in the mid 1990’s when Yusuf decided to invest saved money into starting his own business. Towards the birth of Amara, Yusuf and Şana were doing well for themselves and were particularly well off.

From the day Amara was born Yusuf and Şana decided nothing was going to come easy to her. Yes, they had money. But money was fickle and temporary. They wanted Amara to have opportunities yes, but she wasn’t going to be able to get them that easy from her parents. Even in her early childhood she can remember her mother, ever the drill sergeant, always making sure that she would meet the standards and expectations that her family had put upon her. That, combined with religious expectations, made growing up pretty difficult for Amara. Especially with a growing anti-muslim sentiment growing. Her parents never wanted her to be perfect – but they wanted her to be good. A good girl. They wanted her to do the best she can and be the best she can. Due to her parents constant reprimanding, she too was also plagued with the paranoia that life and money is fickle. She then took it upon herself to make sure that she was more than just an average child – that she was going to be a good girl.

Towards her early teen years Amara was doing it all. Was there a chance to be on the student council? She’d take it. Was there an opportunity that would look good on a report card? She’d take it. Like her parents in the 80’s she soon found herself taking on all the roles and jobs that she possibly could to build herself up. Believing her parents in that a non-forgiving work ethic was the way to go forward. Of course, all of this came at the cost of her reputation. By the time she was fifteen she’d heard every mean nickname. Every time they tried to make fun of her she would snap back because it was the only mechanism she knew. She found it hard to make friends because people only saw her for face value. The girl you ask what’s the answer to question ten and then roll your eyes when she would offer to help instead of telling you.

She felt lonely for a long time but would never be honest to herself about it. Not until she met Lilly. Lilly entering Amaras’ life was like a storm had just ran out of rain. It was one day in the school library. Amara was feeling like she was about to have a breakdown from all her work. That was when Lilly struck up a conversation with her. It was like a breath of fresh air. Amara never knew what it was like to have a close friend until Lilly. Not until the she met the rest of the group.

But it was more than that.

Amara never knew what it meant to feel a platonic love for someone so deep that you would trust them with all your secrets. Until that love wasn’t platonic anymore. She couldn’t explain what she felt when she would talk to Lilly. The tips of her ears would rush with heat, or her palms would become sweaty. She had never felt this way towards another girl. She knew she was heterosexual and such feelings in her culture, in her religion more importantly were forbidden. But there was something about Lilly. That coupled with seeing (Bad Boy’s name) clear interest in Lilly was more than a sign for her. It was then that Amara tried to widen a distance between her and Lilly. Not too long after that the news broke of Lilly going missing. And all she could feel in her heart was deep regret.

Diego has never cared what people perceive him as. Whether it's people calling him totally mindless and reckless, or the living embodiment of chaotic energy, he could care less. Diego has always been the kind of person who's gaze was constantly overlooking. Whatever there was to be said about him, never bothered him. His mind was and is, always focused on whatever comes to him in the moment. He is a young man with his guard constantly up, apprehensive of anything new that would come into his life. For that reason, he's always been a rather stubborn person, refusing to accept change and bent on attempting things the way they have always been done; his way.

When it comes to those who he holds close to him however, Diego is more open and less cold than he is around strangers. Though he's been constantly teased about not outwardly caring enough, or not seeming interested/invested. He is very much representative of someone who allows some people into his life, but struggles with feeling comfortable about letting people in on his emotional state. He's not too keen on people prying in too much on things he refuses to speak about, family being one of those things.

Diego's freedom is without a doubt a necessity for him. When people hammer him with rules, the urge to break or alter them to his liking comes over him like an unbearable itch. It's a big reason why he finds it so hard to do well in school, not necessarily because he isn't capable of understanding, but rather because he's so opposed to the limiting structure. He'd much rather do things at his leisure rather than rushing to meet some random person's expectations.

[/div][/div] [/div] [div class="tabsContent tabsContentThree" style="display: none;"] [div class=textcontainer][div class=text] backstory ;
Diego was always told he was a spitting image of his father. Even though he never knew the man, his family, more specifically his mother, drilled into the young man that he was exactly like his absent father. For whatever reason his father's actions and mentality was something that not only caused his mother to resent him, but unable to see Diego as anything more than his father's son. From an early age the complicated relationship between his parents, translated into his mother shifting her resentment toward his father, onto the young Diego. He grew up pretty much coming to terms with the ideology of him never being able to be much more than the cruel picture his mother painted of his absent father, and accepted this as his reality. This was likely the reason Diego became so comfortable with the idea of acting outside of people's rules, or not allowing himself to be judged by other's expectations of him. He was taught that he was no better than the person that brought him here, so then why fight that? Why object? He came to the understanding that his role in the world was damn near predetermined, and if that was who was supposed to be, there was nothing he could do about it.

Diego went through the rest of his early years continuing down the path of getting into trouble and resisting authority. This only hammered in his mother's beliefs about who he was and how he would turn out, which resulted in Diego receiving her treatment as a sign that he was somehow supposed to be this way. He began growing a steady reputation as this "bad boy", which didn't phase him since his mother had been shouting that in his face basically his entire life. Whether it was staying out late and tagging private property, smoking in school, or getting into arguments with teachers, it's all become regular behavior with him.

Lilly's entrance into Diego's life was really what changed him. For the first time he had met someone who wasn't wary about being around him, someone who was warm no matter how he treated them. It really confused him at first, however the more time she spent around him made him more comfortable with spending time with people that weren't necessarily like himself. The relationship that developed between not only Lilly and himself, but between the entire group was the most organic thing to happen in his life. They all bickered and had their differences, but they all cared for each other in their own ways, which was something Diego couldn't have imagined for how different they all were. For the first time in his life he began to feel there was a life that he could carve out for himself that wasn't about being troubled like his father, or being anything like his family. When he was with his friends he began to feel that there was an avenue for a life independent of all of those things. That was probably why their break up hurt him so much.

In the light of his reunion with the group, Diego has continued to struggle with the feelings he related to being with them before losing Lilly. He realized in everyone's absence that they really did mean a great deal to him even though he never wanted to allow himself to show this when they were together. Once everyone split up he cursed himself time and time again for allowing himself to feel like things could be different from how things have always been for him. But now that they're all together again he's more overwhelmed with emotion than he's ever been. Things have undeniably changed, and it's all out of his control.

edith and henry graves had a whole gaggle of children, all with special names to help them stand out. crimson. adriel. candida. oceana. onyx and jett. winter.

winter was born at the beginning of spring, despite the popular assumption based on her name. she was tiny and pale and destined to be as eccentric as her family, yet in reality she was going to be the black sheep, or perhaps the rainbow sheep. even as a baby she gravitated towards the colorful, as the res of her family engulfed themselves in the dark. she didn't mind being the odd one out.

being different taught her how to be alone. it's not that she and her family didn't love each other, they did, but they had so little in common it was nearly pointless to keep up with one another. they talked and made sure to protect each other, but they weren't nearly as close as winter may have wanted. she became quieter as she aged, always in the shadows of her siblings. anxiety a heavy weight on her small chest, she liked the comfort of being alone.

then she met lilly. lilly made her feel like she didn't need to be alone anymore. she met the entire group, befriended them rather easily. she felt like she had finally had her people.

then it all came tumbling down. the fighting, the drama, the inevitable end of it all. winter shrunk deeper into herself the worse it got. she didn't want to be alone again, but what was she supposed to do?

when lilly disappeared winter thought the world was ending. that the rapture had come and only lilly was worthy. her parents didn't understand, but they tried. she convinced them she was okay and made herself seem it. being alone used to be more comforting, now it was just filled with thoughts of lilly.

and then it got worse when she won the crown she never wanted.[/div][/div][/div]

outside of soccer, phoebe is known to be very outgoing, chatting up others with ease. quick to break a smile with an easy sense of humour, phoebe is well-loved, and is the life of most parties. she loves making friends and find them to be an important aspect of her life, but finds trouble keeping up with all of her relationships all the time. she is especially caring, however, when it comes to her friends, despite her usual fiery temper. it's most evident in her forgiving nature, finding it difficult to stay mad at her friends for extended periods of time.

[div class=h2]vices[/div] her determination goes a little too far at times, and phoebe's father often comments that she's stubborn as a mule. her tenacity to chase her aspirations often means she rarely takes no as an answer, fueled only by her pride. phoebe never backs down from a challenge, and it's gotten her in trouble more than a few times. impatient and somewhat reckless, phoebe acts first, then thinks later, oftentimes barely avoiding hot water with her ability to adapt quickly.

she's known for hot-headedness, with her temper flaring easily but subsiding just as swiftly. this leads her to be rather aggressive when it comes to those who have offended her, confronting them with little hesitation, usually without knowing the whole situation entirely. her father's athleticism definitely rubbed off on all of his kids, and from a young age, phoebe and her brothers were introduced into sports. all 4 of them went different paths, by some unspoken pact— callum went into football, phoebe chose soccer, her twin brother joseph picked basketball, and the youngest, leo, ended up in volleyball. phoebe rarely admits it, but she is proud of her family's athletic achievements, even if callum seems to be drifting away from his title of the star quarterback for his girlfriend. phoebe's alright with that, though she can't imagine why callum even has a girlfriend; his personal hygiene can be horrendous sometimes.

elementary and middle school weren't great times for phoebe. she was the picture definition of a glow-up, and she doesn't mind showing off the big change she underwent the last year of middle school, but phoebe doesn't often talk about her actual experiences back then. tomboyish, rambunctious and unnecessarily loud, she found trouble making friends with the other girls, and though the boys seemed to enjoy her company, phoebe knew they only thought she was cool because she was good at soccer.

come high school, phoebe did a complete 180 and became the girl crush she is now. she became captain of the girl's soccer team, single-handedly secured funding for them, and has led them to state champions for the second year in a row (you're welcome!). she became closer to a sweet acquaintance from middle school named lilly, who was one of the few girls willing to even speak to her back then. she eventually formed a close-knit group with some of lilly's other friends, or so she thought.

lilly quite literally held them together, and when she drifted, they had a falling-out. it was huge, but no biggie, phoebe's back on her feet. she took the opportunity to make a ton of new friends, even if it was more difficult than she anticipated and made her more frustrated than she cared to admit. yeah, people liked her, but it's frustrating for your only defining trait to be "good at soccer". she did end up finding a new group of friends, pieced together from classmates and teammates, though she still gives her old ones a passing side-eye in the hallways. confrontational as she usually is, phoebe's far too stubborn to reach out first— even if she doesn't harbour any ill feelings towards all, well, most of them. it's easier to just pretend like they don't exist and focus on her new relationships instead.

as she grew closer to her new friends, phoebe admits lilly took a backseat, even if she never meant for that to happen. despite that, her disappearance has taken its toll quite visibly on phoebe. she's distracted on the field, threatening a loss against their age-old rivals, and even her new circle is beginning to whisper speculations of concern for her well-being. lilly seems to occupy her thoughts, along with a chiding voice that reminds her that her last interaction with lilly was rejecting her offer to hang out. phoebe can't stand the idea that she prioritised training over one of her best friends out of her own petty grudges. maybe it was her fault that lilly disappeared; because she turned her down, or she didn't reach out and care for her when she needed her most.

either way, no one knows where lilly's gone, and phoebe can't help but fear the worst. vices

casanova |
there's no denying that andreas is something of a pleasure seeker and a natural flirt. thanks to his strong-willed, confident personality, he has no trouble when it comes to the art of seduction, but unfortunately, commitment is somewhat of an alien concept to andreas. his frequent flings are quick and spontaneous like a firework - full of passion and excitement, but withers out almost as quickly as it had burst to life.

egocentric |
andreas, to many, is a self-seeking, self-serving cocky bastard who thinks of nothing but himself. and in some ways, it's true - altruistic and generous are definitely not synonymous with andreas. despite his excellent skill in a plethora of sports, the boy has a tendency to let acclamation get to his head and his pride get the best of him.

two-faced |
though he laughs with many, andreas trusts few; at least when it comes to showing who he truly is as a person. lies and half truths can come as easily to him as breathing can, making him come off as insincere and duplicitous. andreas isn't one to necessarily 'show' people that they get to him, which usually makes it hard to set him off just like that, but of course, everyone has their limits. due to a past full of cuts and bruises, he's learned to cover up his feelings and make sure his private thoughts his own, keeping his true self under foolproof (?) layers of boyish recklessness and false charm.

virtues

charismatic |
despite his flaws, there's no denying that andreas possesses an alluring, passionate charm that inspires and excites others. he is full of zest for life, living every moment to it's fullest, and can come off as extremely passionate and intense. he's an opportunist to the core, and possesses a compelling, ardent magnetism that can appeal to almost anybody.

clever |
people often are quick to assume that andreas is nothing more than a boorish, vapid thug. and in some sense, it's true - andreas was and still is a terrible student; a rebellious troublemaker who has no interest in sitting still and listening to his authority figures teach subjects he gives a rat's ass about. however, when it comes to things andreas is passionate about, he shows to be a brilliant, quick learner and surprisingly perceptive and insightful as he continues to grow in these passions.

resilient |
andreas is not one to sit still in one place for long, and so naturally, this makes him quick to bounce back. thanks to his incredible instinct, persistence and drive, he's able to adapt/recover quickly from difficult conditions and situations and fight back.

likes
partying, hitting a milestone, any adrenaline-inducing sport/activity, his secret guilty pleasure of collecting old comic books, boxing (his favorite out-of-school sport), champagne, tattoos (an obsession at this point), joking around.

dislikes
naturally anything that involves sitting idle for long periods of time, spineless people, having his pride injured, getting bested, rejection (poor boy just doesn't know how to handle it), being exposed and vulnerable, unnecessary judgment, hurting those he cares about (andreas is not blind to the heartbreak he leaves in his wake, but unfortunately, bad habits are a bitch.)

extracurricular(s) |
football & track mostly. he was convinced into getting into gardening at one point thanks to a certain girl named lilly

bio

growing up, andreas never experienced much stability. when it came to his life, he often jokes that he's spent most of it at the backseat of a car, going back and forth from one house to the other, never staying any longer than a year at the most. his mother was a stranger, dying before andreas had the chance to know her, and his father on the other hand, was another story. andreas could only say he knew the beatings better than he knew the man. after a time, andreas' father and his nonexistent parenting skills caught the attention of the foster care system and days before andreas reached his ninth birthday, he was placed in a new foster home.

this home proved to be the first and last time andreas would ever spend any more than a year living in. things were fine, even great, at first. the foster home belonged to a loving, staunchly religious couple that took andreas in and showed him all the love and stability he had previously lacked. unfortunately, andreas learned from a young age that all good things all eventually come to an end. the end in this case came in the form of a cancerous tumour, infecting the husband and taking him away just as quickly as it had came. distraught with grief, the wife was forced to give andreas back to the system as she nursed her own wounds and dealt with facing reality without her beloved.

these tragedies hardened the young andreas. he was a born rebel, a natural hooligan who could find his way into playful mischief no matter the circumstances, but these events carved out something much more alarming. as he grew older, andreas grew bitter and he turned this bitterness into a temper. his time in foster homes went from years to mere months. he hated to be controlled, hated to be reigned in, and soon, this seeped into his school life. andreas became a regular at the local detention class and his temper as well as his fists soon became his reputation; he was labeled a trouble child and teachers dreaded him in class.
however, the real trouble came when he was fourteen and was introduced to the dark and duplicitous world of drugs, promiscuity, crime, and more importantly, tattoos. utterly captivated, andreas began to accumulate as many as he could, developing what some would call an obsession. to fuel this said obsession, andreas took part in thieving and robbery which led to his first incarceration at juvenile hall when he was fifteen. it was clear, to anyone and everyone, that andreas lukinov was on one hell of a downward spiral.

when he got out, he was met with the dark disapproving looks of his host family and a duffel bag shoved to him. it was clear - he was on the move yet again. this time, the new foster family was at the next state over - which meant a whole new high school. andreas was told to feel optimistic about this chance to 'start anew'. of course, andrew didn't buy it. there was going to be nothing new about this change. and for the most part, he was right. rumours were rumours and from the beginning, andrew was ostracisized and counted as an outcast with a penchant for trouble and a temper.

until he met lily.

it was safe to say that lily was different from the rest. she was one of the rare ones, those who actually made sure to take a peek inside before judging the book by it's cover. at first, andreas was thrown off by her kindness; taking time out of her day to help him to his class, lending him pencils he always lacked, opening the shitty locker that seemed to magically open only for lily when she did the combination. it took a while, but andreas warmed up to lily, and soon, she introduced him to the rest of her good friends, who would soon become his good friends too. andreas suddenly found himself with a network of support and friendship he never knew he needed. the bitter anger that he had been holding onto for so long finally started to melt away, and andreas fully immersed himself into the group. for a long while, andreas became the go-lucky, mischievous little boy that he thought he had buried a long time ago. things were finally looking up.

of course, bad habits die slow-burn deaths. andreas still kept his habit of partying, drinking, and smoking, his reputation as a playboy became somewhat full-fledged, passing through girls like one would a deck of cards. This did earn him ire from more than a few from his friends, including lily herself.
but even lily was not spared andreas' good looks and bad boy charm. throughout junior and senior year, it was safe to say that something began to develop between lily and andreas. A spark, starting from the bottom and with every subtle flirtatious exchange and playful gesture, rising higher and higher until andreas could deny it no more - he was falling hard for lily, and she him.

but before andreas could act and make her his officially, the fallout hit, and hit them all hard. andreas, in the beginning, refused to see the reality of things - refused to believe that the group of friends he was so fervently invested in could break apart so easily, that everyone could just abandon each other over what he thought was stupid bullshit. with such strong opinions, it was only a matter of time before he too was butting heads, enmeshed in the toxic drama, complicating the situation further until finally, the deed was done. the friend group he once loved was officially no more.

not too long after, andreas, in typical andreas fashion, got into a brawl and went to juvenile hall, serving a total of three months. when he got out, the first person there to greet him was none other than lily.
throughout the months, andreas and lily began to reconnect again, meeting up again and again to hang out and talk and open up, often about personal things. before he knew it, the same old flame was rekindled, and soon, hang outs turned into hookups. however, despite their newfound growing passion, andreas knew lily hated the bad habits he still kept around him, not to mention that she was still more distraught about the fallout than she let on. she began to distance herself, acting exactly like everyone did months before during the fallout. andreas refused to allow this to happen - and soon, a fallout all of their own was in the making. but andreas had no time to dwell on it - trouble followed his every move and soon, so did juvie. this time however, when he got out a month later, there was no lily to greet him. a week later, he learned about her disappearance - and it was safe to say that him being more than distraught was a severe understatement. when he learned that the gang was being called back together, it made andreas uncharacteristically feel something he's refused to feel for the past five years: fear. despite his tough, macho act, andreas is in reality anxious and depressed to bits about lily's disappearance and the fallout. old wounds and fears are still vividly sore; andreas is sure that this reunion will only result in a reenactment of the fallout seven months ago - but if it means finding out what happened to lily, he's willing to do whatever it takes. thinking back to the nasty way the pair had left things a month ago, andreas only hopes he isn't part of the reasons for her disappearance.

| Nickname |
J, Stanley

| Age |
18

| Gender |
Male

| Sexuality |
Heterosexual

| Role |
The Jock

| Positive Traits |
Loyal - To Jamarus family and friends are everything. Once you are someone he cares about he will do nearly anything for you. On the same coin however he's known for expecting the same from his friends. This is not often fair to them as not everyone views friendships the same as him so he tries to keep it to a minimum. J is incredibly protective of his friends and will stand up for them no matter what. He never breaks a promise with someone and will always be honest with his friends if he thinks it's something they need to hear.

Goal Oriented - Nothing can keep the football player from his dreams. J would be a first generation college student and works very hard to make this a possibility. Some might say too hard but he would just call those people lazy. Jamarus has planned out nearly every major event in his life. He's already recieved the scholarship to his first choice school but it remains to be seen if the concussion will impact that.

Natural Leader - Years of team sports and group activities in school have molded Jamarus into a conifdent and natural leader. He finds it easy to take charge of any situation and dictate what is going to be done. Because of this he tends to butt heads with other people that like to be in charge. He is very good to listening to everyone on his team or group and quickly coming up with ideas that help everyone.

Humble - Jamarus doesn't really like to talk about himself. He's an important member of them team but not the star player. He gets good grades but definitely not the best. People would brag about less but he doesn't consider himself worth talking about. He would much rather talk about other people and how their day is going.

57432c597a.jpg

| Negative Traits |
Short Tempered - It does not take much to irritate Jamarus. He is used to getting his way and does not know how to react when someone opposes him. He takes strides to keep his cool but when someone is openly challenging him he will lose his shit. This problem only escalates in a competitive environment. While J is an important member of the team there are several members who hate him for always yelling.

Hyperactive - With all of the things Jamarus aspires to be he finds it incredibly difficult to just sit still. It's gotten so bad that if he has nothing to do he will just work out to burn off all the nervous energy inside him. He quite literally does not know how to take it easy and relax. When he is sitting around doing nothing his mind starts thinking about all the things he could be doing and it drives him insane. Because of all the working out he does Jamarus is gaining muscle at an incredible rate leading to the rumors he is on steroids.

Competitive - Everything is a competition. Scrimmage at practice? Might as well be a conference finals game. Working out? Let's see who can lift more weights. The competitions are all in good fun for Jamarus outside of football. There, his competitive nature has been known to get him into trouble. He will scream at the refs or other players if he thinks they are not doing their jobs.

Intense - The main thing about Jamarus that rubs people the wrong way. The football player goes 0 to 100 real quick. He's not a violent person and wouldn't hurt someone without good reason to. Getting in someone's face and a giving shove to prove his point? Yeah that sounds reasonable. It's a by product of growing up in the world of sports where there are only winners and losers. It's spilled over into his real personality. Genuinely he's a nice and caring guy but if anyone says the wrong thing his mood will flip 180 degrees almost instantly.

| Backstory |
Jamarus had what he considers to be a pretty boring life growing up. His father and mother were both still in the picture. No tragic backstory or anything. Mom was a chef, dad was garbage man by day, wannabe football coach by night. As soon as the kid was old enough to hold a football his father, James, had him play with one. It was a classic case of a parent living vicariously though their child but Jamarus never minded. He loved seeing how excited his parents would get coming to the little league games and it was something for him and his father to bond over.

James was also the one that gave Jamarus his bad temper and intensity. His father wanted the best for him but the man always had a funny way of showing it. Tough love, he called it. Any affection and kind words were always coming from mom. Any clear mistakes in a football game would be met by a lecture on the way home. No good jobs, none of that. Mom would come into his room after his father ranted that night and tell him she thought he did great. It was win or lose in his father's eyes. James didn't want his son to end up like him, so he always kept pushing him no matter what.

Once he got to high school J still didn't have many friends. He had some teammates from the previous middle school but he never hung out with them outside of practice. That was when he had met Lilly. There was something about her that just drew him to her. Everyone loved Lilly, after all. She was seemingly the only one that could calm that temper of his and keep him in check. Even so he never felt like she was nagging him or bossing him around. He just found her presence to be a calming one and whenever he started to tip her soothing voice would bring him right back. Lilly had been the one that taught him there was more to life than passing and failing, winning and losing. She taught him to slow down and appreciate the small things. Their relationship had always been like a brother and sister. Who was the older one flip flopped on the daily. Jamarus watched out for her and was always there to give advice, and she the same for him.

Lilly, of course, introduced him to her friends. He got along with a few of them alright but he never really got close to them. They had always been just that, Lilly's friends, not his. When Lilly distanced herself from everyone Jamarus was one of the first ones to stop hanging out. A lot of the fracturing between them was probably his fault. With no Lilly there was no one to stop him from speaking his mind. He made sure to let all of the friends know how he felt before leaving. It wasn't what Lilly would have wanted but she knew how he felt about them. Now that the group was being called back together, he had been dragged back in by the one or two people he still talked to.

Guinevere is the kind of person who is seen as too good to be in this world. She is a genuinely good person who cares deeply for the earth and everything that lives in it. The kind of person who wouldn’t harm a fly because they couldn’t bear the thought of anything in pain. She is an empathetic girl, usually becoming attuned to the emotions and suffering of those around her. Gwen is always willing to help others even if she has her own problems or responsibilities. She would drop them at a moments notice to help someone she cares for. It doesn’t matter how big or little the problem is she will be there.

She has a big heart and cares very much for her loved ones. Due to this, she is often labelled as the mom of her friend groups. The one who is always going out of their way to make sure others are being cared for. Somehow she always manages to have exactly what someone needs on hand at just the right time. This is also where one of her main flaws come in. She tends to give so much to others that when it comes time to help herself she has nothing left. Which also leads to many cruel people taking advantage of her kind nature and walking all over her.

When it comes to conflict much to the distaste of her mother she prefers a neutral approach. Guinevere is a pacifist by nature and dislikes the idea of fighting and aggressive confrontation. She often finds it better to listen to the opinions of both sides before trying to help them reach an agreement. While she isn’t quick to anger and stands by her ideals and there are certain exceptions to her rules. One example is if someone is trying to harm someone she cares dearly for. While she doesn’t turn to violence she can be rather frightening when she chooses to. Besides, it isn’t like everyone knows that she is a pacifist.

Herstory

Guinevere was always destined to do great things, whether those things were good or bad was up to her. Coming from a long line of powerful women was never going to be easy. There were certain standards that had been set by those before her and she was expected to meet them. With a family as powerful as hers, reputation was everything. Because of this, her parents ruled over her with an iron fist. While they had the means to, Gwen was never just handed off to a nanny to be cared for. Her mother always stayed with her so she could make certain that her mind wasn’t being poisoned by the staff. She could not be exposed to anything that could potentially pose a threat to the family name. There was no playing outside or running around with the other children, it was seen as undignified. She was either in etiquette lessons or a preapproved hobby like sewing or piano.

The Love household was one without care. It was as if their whole family was a business arrangement in order to make Mr and Mrs Love look good. Despite all odds, Guinevere didn’t come out the other side mean and hateful, instead she had one of the biggest hearts you could come across. This was all due to one person, her first-ever friend and biggest childhood secret.

At the age of six, a young Guinevere discovered the beauty of the night. It was a time spent for herself. A time where she no longer had to follow her families rules and could do what she chose to. It was also when she got to see her closest friend. The first night she had snuck out into the gardens she met her, Lilly. A young girl her age who made the perfect friend. The knight to her princess. From the moment they met, they would continue to spend every night together. At midnight under the Willow tree, always.

As Gwen grew older her parents loosened their leash on her a little. They believed that their standards for her had been ingrained into her brain enough for a small amount of freedom. She was finally allowed to spend time with people out of school, which meant she could spend time with Lily. They met other people two, all brought together by her into this weird group of misfits but it worked. As long as her parents were distracted by her perfect grades and behaviour they seemed not to notice this small act of rebellion.

Sophomore year was when things started to change, their friendship felt different. Her cheeks would get hot whenever they held eye contact for a little longer than normal. When they parted ways she could still feel Lily’s touch on her skin, sending shockwaves through her body in the best ways possible. She didn’t understand it at first, why all these things that used to be normal now ran through her mind for hours. That whenever Guinevere closed her eyes all her dreams were filled with her. It took her a bit longer than it should have for her to figure out that she liked Lily as more than a friend. Maybe she was in denial for even acting on her feelings would bring all kinds of shame to her family. But for Lily, it would be worth every punishment. Afterall they would always be able to find each other under the Willow tree.

In a constantly moving world, everything changes and nothing lasts. Something you think is unbreakable one day is shattered into a million pieces the next. How had things gone so wrong? One moment they are friends and the next they can barely speak to each other. Their friend group was never perfect. They bickered just like everything else and sure Gwen didn’t like the way that BAD BOY NAME HERE looked at Lily but still. They were friends. It wasn’t like her and Lily could truly be together. Moments were just that. Moments. Despite that, she still couldn’t help but feel irritated by his blatant interest in her. Small disagreements turned into large fights. Words were thrown and secrets were outed that could never be taken back. It broke her heart to not be able to talk to people she once loved dearly. Even to Lily, she was distant, spending more time studying than under the willow tree with her. She would give anything for just one more moment with her.

[div class=questions2]PERSONA[/div]the black sheep of town; anders has always struggled with fitting in. he was never enough, or was too much for people, and often cast aside. he’s very in tune with his emotions, therefore things tend to affect him a lot more deeply than people think, despite his aloof demeanor. he wants to come off as chill, and unbothered, but truthfully, it's not who he is — he hurts too, even if it’s not a pretty sight, but it’s what he’s accustomed to.

his lone wolf attitude stems from being alone for most of his life, until the group was formed, but he still suffers from thinking for himself, and disregards others when it comes to his actions. he refuses to be stepped on, or ordered around, therefore he can be a bit bossy and forceful at times. he hates the feeling of not being in control, and when authority threatens him, he acts out in retaliation. he’s devious and cunning, with a knack for getting into trouble and looking for his next thrill, anders has a ‘do now, think later’ type of personality. [div class=questions2]BIOGRAPHY
born on january 15th, anderson wasn’t a planned baby, rather a pleasant surprise to his parents.

they were rather young, and high school sweethearts who defied their family and ran away hand in hand after graduation to elope. they talked about their future, laid upon a bed in a motel, whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears, and promises of forever, but it all meant nothing.

the new addition to the family, caused their relationship to crash and burn, until all that was left was anderson and his mother. she tried her hardest to care for him, but it was challenging. she begged and pleaded for his father to come home, to see his son, but her pleas were ignored. she turned to her family for help, but they wanted no involvement with their disappointment of a daughter.

the older anderson got, the more he resembled his father, and the angrier his mother grew; she was angry at herself, her family, her ex-fiance, and anderson.

even at the tender age of 8, anders was alienated. the town whispered amongst themselves, judgmental stares falling upon the family of two; a tragedy they called them, the miller tragedy. the fatherless child and harlot of a mother. the kids at school judged him as he sat alone in the corner of the cafeteria watching the other kids as they sat with their father’s eating pizza, wondering where his father was. his mother never spoke of him much, and when anderson would question her, he was only dismissed.

anderson was never the perfect son. he felt too deeply, and took things too personal. calls home from school were often, and visits to the principal's office were a daily occurrence. his mother sought out to ‘fix’ her son, to make him like the other obedient kids of town, and took him to the doctor.

little blue pills on the table next to his breakfast became a common occurrence, until they were unable to afford them and anderson stopped taking them — they didn’t let him feel anything, and numbed him void of any emotion, but anderson wanted to feel, he wanted the pain, the happiness, the good, and the bad.

therefore, his days of causing hell upon the town swiftly returned, and never went away. then, he met lily; where he was the gloomy clouds and rain, lily was the sunshine who whisked the clouds away. their meeting was entirely unexpected, but her way of words and empathy for anderson enticed him. she was different from the others, didn’t turn her back on him, or regard him differently because of the way he was; she didn’t fear him, she accepted him.

lily and the group became his little blue pill, but they allowed him to be him, and were still there for him even on his unreasonable days. for so long, he’d been alone, and never felt understood, but with them it was the opposite. he found solace within the group, and learned to love with them, therefore it hit him hard when they separated, and he reverted back to his old ways.

maybe he’s destined for loneliness.
