biography | Born into a family of one daughter and a single father, Makoto Kyoya was the runt of the family. He was weak as a child, never physically adept nor strong enough to properly work or play with classmates. His father had favoured his sister, who was a beautiful young girl that had smarts and a penchant for painting beautiful masterpieces. Makoto was content with staying in his sister's shadow, running off only to get himself into whatever trouble he was able to. With little to no supervision, Makoto quickly became a boy with a love of thrills and too canny ability to find himself in tough situations. The boy, however, never allowed himself to take part of physical skirmish or anything too deep as he was still rather small.
It was only until the first year of higher schooling that he grew. And with that growth came a wave of disobedience and irresponsibility. He was too deep into his gang, molding into their ill intended ways. His sister had attempted multiple times to separate him from the group but succeeding in little to nothing. Makoto would always crawl back and dig himself deeper. His father, seemingly uncaring for such a disappointment of a son did not try anything to help him.
And so when Makoto nearly had himself arrested for a rather violent skirmish during the next year, his father had not spared a single breath to help him. Instead, Muse A's father swooped in and supposedly saved him from his ordeal. In his debt, Makoto set out to do the man's dirty work, only realizing that he was in another sort of prison. Infuriated, he approached the father and bargained for a way to relieve himself of his working contract. In doing so, Makoto landed himself a position as Muse A's butler and is required to watch over her until she turns 24.
personality | For such a turbulent past, Makoto is anything but dark and broody. He's what you call a charmer, a teaser using small smiles and the occasional flirtatious bout to get things done. This small bit of charm veils the other aspects of himself. Mako has a bit of a temper and can get fed up easily if faced with irritating individuals. He tries to avoid emotional conflict and is rather closed, using a happy outward appearance to allow others to assume his state of being. That being said, the man can be incredibly rash at times, letting his temper cause him to be harsh and at times, selfish.
