"I didn't say I was bothered by it, you must be really perceptive." Tristan drawled, rolling his eyes. He raised an eyebrow at the odd comment, folding his arms across his chest defensively. "I never said that anyone was bothering me, I don't know where you got that idea on, perhaps you're not as perceptive as I thought." A bit cutting, but really, Tristan wasn't in the mood for being social; he wanted to eat dinner and to enjoy a peaceful evening while his roommate was gone.
He went back to his book as Joon cooked dinner for them, but he kept watching his roommate. Tristan wasn't a good cook, he didn't inherit any of his mother's skills in the kitchen, he should really learn how to cook but he just wasn't interested. When he thought Joon was finishing up, Tristan went to the kitchen table and raised an eyebrow at his question. "That's usually something you ask before you cook for someone, you know?" But then he sighed, shaking his head. "I'm not vegetarian." Not yet, he had been thinking about it but that seemed like an after graduation goal. Tristan sat down and started to eat, looking over at his half asleep roommate. "This ... this is really good, thanks Joon." He murmured, sounding a bit awkward; he wasn't one for giving compliments.
