A dragon โฆ is a dangerous thing.
King Maekar โEggbreakerโ knew this.

They were given new life. The darkest of magics brought them back from their unbeing. Creatures born from flame and chaos. Monsters. The rebirth of the dragon was seen as a good thing - the goodest thing. The winged beasts meant power. House Targaryen - its power dwindling - would be restored to former glories.
But โฆ
Power corrupts.
Maekarโs sister was a victim of that corruption. She hungered for it. Power. So much so that she turned Maekarโs family and Maekarโs people against him, even his own little girl. His daughter. She drove The Seven Kingdoms towards a doom. A fracturing so severe. Farms were burnt black and women were stolen from their beds.
Lords were seared alive.
All
Because
Of
Power.
She wanted her brotherโs seat.
So โฆ
Dragon fought dragon once more.
They danced.
They died.
And Maekar won, earning his moniker when he justly killed the majority of the beasts and shattered their stone eggs.
Signifying a return to the end of House Targaryen.
10 years on.
Maekarโs life is now ended and the entire realm sits and waits for someone to take his place. Take his seat atop The Iron Throne. However, Maekarโs eldest son and heir is crippled of the mind and of the body, seen as unfit to rule anything. A Prince who cannot run one kingdom, let alone seven of them โฆ
So,
The other candidates?
Maekarโs youngest son, who killed his mother coming out of her. A boy with black hair and an unhatched dragon egg. Someone many consider to be a deviant.

Maekarโs bastard son, holding the name Rivers. A baseborn, birthed from a silent sister. His wife being his own half-sister - the woman who once betrayed her father in the war.
A grand council is set to take place at Summerhall.
The birthplace of the new dragons.
And soon to be the birthplace of a new king โฆ
Or so the people believe.
And so the people pray.

We're a small group of people doing a Game Of Thrones / A Song Of Ice And Fire RP ! Our roleplay is set in an alternate canon, with all original characters for the most part. We've got canon characters in their historical roles, like ... Aegon The Conqueror, as one example. Besides that, everything else is fully original. We've already started, so if you're interested - check out our thread. We've only just begun and would love for you to join us!
