The sun is gone.
The air is heavy. Everything is suspiciously quiet. You rise from bed wearily, groping blindly for a phone, a light, the wall.
The eerie serenity breaks. Your doorbell rings.

Whatever forces there were in the universe are here now, and nobody knows why the sun is gone, why people stand in the streets staring at the moon, or why roving lights travel through the emptied out houses. Our characters have been thrust into a deadly situation that, even with one wrong step taken, could result in death. Decision making is critical to ensure survival, and throughout the chaos, the emergency broadcasts continue.

and I are running together, heavily inspired by the internet ARGs TheSunVanished and Local 58. You don't have to read and watch them, but it's super encouraged so you understand the general vibes we're going for! And, in this will be incorporated themes of choose your own adventure, as our characters' decisions can and will have major consequences. The premise is simple; our characters have woken up to a high-tension survival situation where unknown forces are at play, and must do what it takes to live and find other survivors.
01. Follow all RPN rules. Please be aware this roleplay is preferably 18+ due to themes of: horror, language, major character deaths, life or death scenarios.
02. Literacy is a must. One liners are not accepted. We're looking for thoughtful, substantial writing and replies should be at least 400 words or more.
03. We are looking to accept six to eight people for this roleplay! Roles are not first come first serve, and so we will be holding applications once we know there is interest. You are encouraged to join with at least two characters.
05. No undue sensitivity: characters can and will die, not due to petty reasons or personal vendettas - that's just the name of the game. This is why you're encouraged to join with up to three characters.
06. Discord. Please be aware that we will have a Discord server for easy OOC chatting! Once you are accepted, you'll be heavily encouraged to join, because that's where all of our planning, character relationships, and discussions will take place.
