Jumin’s style is one that some can probably question since he is always switching on a weekly basis due to his indecisive nature. It ranges from dark, neutral or pastel colors that compliments his skin and gives him the appearance of a friendly individual. The one thing that sticks with him is his large selection of hats that keeps his unruly hair in check.
Personality ☆
Jumin is a nice and considerate guy, who is always concerned about his friend’s well beings. Due to his caring personality, he is often seen with a gentle smile on his face. However, he is rather weak-hearted and can get scared pretty easily since he has a major fear towards Airplanes (Snakes on the Plane and Plane crashes are to blame) and anything that can relate to paranormal things. When he gets spooked, he tends to hide behind any of his band mates or cling to them in some way till his racing heart cools down. Jumin also seems to be one of the more sensible people in the group and can get a bit worn out from his friend’s peculiar antics and mannerisms. But this doesn’t stop him from actually being there and being part of their lives. He would practically die if they somehow got separated. This is what earned him the “Cat Mom” title since he gives off motherly vibes.
Background ☆
Jumin’s background is one that the boy treasures the most. It all started once he was born in Seoul, South Korea by his loving parents that made sure to give him the best life he deserved. Along with his eldest sister Jaehee, they both were practically like glue since they did almost everything together. From going to the same school to participating in clubs, Jumin’s life was never boring. Things began to change when Jaehee noted that Jumin, who was 13 at the time, started to show interest music and dancing. Everyday after school, she would find him following the steps off a music video or rapping certain parts of songs that seemed difficult to others.
With a tremendous amount of curiosity, she had asked him to see if he was interested in joining a dance studio that was active all year round after doing her research on the internet. This only caused said boy to enthusiastically agree as he ran off towards his parents to let them know of his decision. His mother was the first to question it since she had seen many individuals fall from chasing after a similar dream-- but his father managed to change her mind as they both mutually agreed to help their son achieve his goals.

At the age of 18, Jumin was practically radiating with joy since he was well recognized from his hard work. It was hard journey for him as his family began to grow distant after his father passed away two years ago. None of them saw it coming, but, the boy was sure that his father was proud of his accomplishments thus far. With a faint smile on his lips, Jumin found himself sitting in the middle of the dance studio in peace with his eyes closed. However, the sudden sensation of someone grabbing onto his shoulders had him yell loudly from fear and topple over. Laughter filled his ears as he groaned and realized that it was one of his younger dance mates.
Silence had overcome them both before she shoved a neat envelope into his hands and demanded him to open it with a big grin on her features. Confused, Jumin neatly opened it as he scanned through the letter. It was a few minutes later that his mouth opened in shock-- he was selected to be part of AA1 due to his hard work and dedicated! This was all a big rush and he couldn’t contain the grin forming on his lips. It was about time that he was able to take part of his life long dream.

How is your character woken up and how hard is it? ✧
a) Jumin is usually woken up by his alarm or when someone is jumping on his bed. Although, he prefers his alarm in order to save the person from being smacked in the face with a pillow. Beware! Normally, he can easily be woken up with anything. If the day was a long one for him, it will be hard for him to wake up from heavy sleep. This is partially why he’s compared to a cat since he’ll be able to easily fall asleep again. In this case, jumping on his bed and being loud would be preferable.
What is your character's favorite and least favorite food/meal/snack? ✧
b) Jumin’s favorite thing to eat would be those green tea or white kitkat’s! They are a major weakness for the boy as he can probably finish a whole bag on his own and feel extremely guilty about it later. His parents were always very restrictive on giving him kitkats, but with him being on his own, Jumin always has a bag with him. Jumin’s least favorite would be anything that’s sour. He dislikes the sensation it gives in the back of his mouth and will more than likely reject the offer kindly to save his taste buds. Poor boy.
How easily is your character frustrated? ✧
c) It will take him a long while to actually get frustrated due to his motherly nature. Jumin is incredibly patient and will spend his time to make things right even if others around him are frustrated. Once he actually gets frustrated, he tends to sulk and munch on his kitkats. In other words, he is absolutely no threat to anyone when his mood goes sour.
Does your character get upset during practice when they can't get it perfectly? ✧
d) Not at all. Jumin will continue to work hard to get it perfectly since his patience grants him the ability to. If he still doesn't get it right, he will pester his members to assist him and point out where he’s messing up. He’s open to constructive criticism in this case and will take it happily.
