Khione Silverblade
It was the smell of rain which lingered in the air more than the dark clouds overhead signified the downpour to come; and it was just Khione's luck that she had chosen a cloudy/rainy day to take her stroll around Miasto. It wasn't often the petite babe had time outside her duties to venture outside Requiem nor was time spent with her one of her few friends, Octavius, frequently.

With him at her side, she felt smaller than usual - as she always did when she stood besides people taller than her. In the corner of her eyes, she noted the shadowy figures which followed the two around, prompting out a small sigh. Even given their positions, rules were rules and "escorts" were given to ensure safety. Whether it was the safety of others or their own, however, was still completely lost to her.

As they walked, the two made small talk, catching up with one another on their busy lives and schedules. "I think it's going to rain soon," she tells him, seemingly absentminded, "Don't you think so?"

As though in response, the sky overhead rumbled.

Passing by the higher-end of Miasto, the two were stopped in front of a large and rather gloomy-looking mansion. Outside fretted a group of maids, butlers, and bodyguards alike; smack in the center of them all was a worried looking man, dressed posh like a young Master.

"You two!" he addresses them, only after catching sight of their Insignias. "You're Magisters aren't you? We got an anonymous tip that monsters will turn up in Mr. Crassus' mansion. I wantcha to kill those blasted beasts and make sure Mr. Crassus and his minions are unharmed!"

He spoke in such a frenzy, already pushing the two towards the mansion's gates before either of them could utter word.

"Wait--"

"Don't worry about the details! Just get Mr. Crassus and the rest of the staff out before-- before--" the clearly stressed out man threw his hands up in exasperation, leaning back on one of the maids for support. "Please help us. I'll send in some bodyguards to assist. Anything, just, please get my step-father out of there."

Khione shared a look with Octavius, brows knitted in concern. She had already made up her mind to help, but what of Tavi?

"Alright," she tells the worried man, taking less than ten minutes to make up her mind (the first in a long while), "I'll help you."

Octavius Harred

Interaction: Khione Aster Aster
Quest: Monster raid
Status: In progress
Location: Miasto // Crassus' Mansion

Octavius Harred was never one to actively indulge in leisure activities that did not pertain the usage of any body function of his, even if it was simply strolling somewhere else. Don't get him wrong, he doesn't have a thing against it, he just preferred to....use his time up wisely. Not that he had anything to do for the moment and his friend had asked him to accompany her.

Khione was a nice person. That is if people took the time to actually get to know her. The fact that she mentioned about the rain suddenly reminded him of her powers. "Yeah. Looks like it." Was all he said as he placed both his hands in each of his jeans pocket. He never liked the cold nor did he plan to any time soon.

The male suddenly remembered that he wanted to drop by a convenience store to buy a few bags of his chips. His guilty pleasure always got the best of him and Miasto was rumoured to have various selection of his favourite brand, compared to what was sold at Raquiem or his housing area. "Let's stop by the convenience store later." He simply said to the smaller female before following her path.

Being prefects of the Elite Ten had its perks but one of them didn't including not being sought out more than the other affiliations. Just as he was about to mention something else to Khione, he noticed that they had stumbled upon a very old-looking mansion and as though straight out of a movie, the, what he assumed, staff were all lined up outside in a uniform fashion with a man that stood out in the middle, asking for their help.

"Hold on, when are the beasts estimated to arrive?" Octavius asked with a raised eyebrow before noting the structure that oddly seemed concrete for being of such old age. He turned to Khione with a surprised look when she said she'd help.

Of course he would help if she was. He wasn't underestimating her on getting the job done but it didn't sit well with him knowing that his friend was fighting by herself. "I'll help too but you need to let us know as much as you can, sir." He replied.

Khione Silverblade
"They're in there now," the man--Khione later learned was named Liam Crassus-- told them, filling them in on how they received an anonymous note on the arrival of some Tenebrae beasts later that afternoon. They had taken it for a prank made probably by one of the kids across the street and dismissed it as nothing more. When the clock struck twelve however, dark shadows began to form from the ground, solidifying into grotesque dark shapes with three to more faces covering the expanse of its body.

Liam and a handful of the staff had been downstairs when it happened and given how most of the Tenebrae had formed upstairs, they had managed to escape without trouble. Mr.Crassus and the rest, however, were left with a more unfortunate fate.

"You have to help them! Please!" The man was getting desperate and every second spent outside seemed to push him further.

"Alright, we'll help. Don't worry," Khione said soothingly, brushing a hand across the man's head. Despite being smaller and younger, the act was more comforting that mockingly humorous.

Hearing Octavius' reply made her grin as she un-slung the leather sheath which hung across her back. From it, she drew out two blades, matching in design. Upon closer inspection, one would notice that each one was a half to a pair scissors, too large to be considered normal, glinting dangerously under the dim sky's gleam. The sheath was rested outside the gates and with Octavius by her side, Khione stepped into the mansion, never once turning to look back.

BOB
Interactions: Octavius Makomin Makomin
Quest: Monster Raid
Status: In Progress

Admittedly, Bob hadn't been looking where he was going. It had seemed like a good idea at the time - he had some free time to spare for the first time in a while and decided to take a walk around Miasto. Specifically, to find a good card shop. It was his first time in this place and he had gotten lost, though he would never admit it. Especially not to the escorts who were tailing him just out of sight. He hadn't seen them since he had left the academy, but he had been assured that they would follow him everywhere he went so he assumed that they were probably still there. After a few hours of hopeless wandering interspersed with drinks from cafes and ice cream, he had been so frustrated that he had almost given in and tried to approach them to see if they could help, but right at that moment he found it.

Bob spent a happy couple hours in that shop, sifting through the merchandise on offer. It was dimly lit and terribly organised, but he found it nice that way. He found a few good finds, nothing too special - but eventually admitted he should head back soon. He could come back another time -assuming he could find this place again. Stepping out into the street again, he found that it was raining. Dammit. Scurrying along the streets, he tucked his newly bought cards into his jacket to protect them from the rain, fussing over how they settled.

Nope, Bob definitely hadn't been looking where he was going. Which was how he ended up bumping into a very important looking man. And dropping the bag with his cards inside. "Sorry," he said, glancing at him briefly but his mind was focused mainly on his cards. On the floor. In a puddle. Getting rained on. Stooping down to retrieve it, he reached out his left hand to pick it up when all of a sudden, the man grabbed his wrist. "Hey-" he jerked back startled.

"You're a Magister too?" The man asked, he sounded surprised, still looking at the insignia on his left hand. "Are you with the other two?"
"What?" Bob replied, caught off guard. "Uhm yes?" He had meant it as a reply to the first question only and was about to ask what the man had meant before suddenly found himself being ushered through the gates with phrases like 'please hurry' and 'we don't have much time'. Bob barely had time to pick up his cards and register the peculiar assortment of people on the street before he was suddenly inside the mansion. There were two other people just in front of him. In fact, he had stumbled into the young man. "Sorry," he apologised for the second time in as many minutes. "Wait, Octavius?" Blinking a few times, he forgot his cards for a moment as he took in his surroundings.

"Whoa. Where are we?"

Quest: The Thief

Status: In Progress

Location: Requiem City

Team: Quinn & Curtis ( Aster Aster )

Quest #1: The Thief
Syndicate supply runs were an irritating, but necessary task. With list in hand, Quinn stalked the streets of Requiem, hunting down the required items with precision and efficiency. Curtis had come along to help, and she appreciated his presence, but mostly his wingspan, since his long arms could carry quite a few more bags than a normal person. Checking off the second to last item on the list, she turned to see whether or not Curtis had fallen behind.

"We're almost finished. Let's get this done and head back." They were close. Just one more item, one she knew a local merchant sold at his stand a few blocks away. Nodding for Curtis to follow, she set off again in the direction of the merchant. She heard him before she saw him. The whole block probably heard his wailing.

"THIEF! A THIEF HAS TAKEN IT ALL! I'M RUINED! RUINED!"

Quinn hurried to the cart, going all but unnoticed by the inconsolable man, whose blubbering was starting to make her twitch. "Hey, hey. Slow down." She grabbed his arm to steady him, afraid he might just keel over right there if he kept carrying on like that. Once he'd calmed down and she had his attention, she continued. "Tell me what happened."

The merchant explained how he'd arrived at his stand to find it cleared out of all of his supplies, the item on Syndicate's list included. He looked as though he were about to break down again, but Quinn squeezed his arm. She cast a side-long glance at Curtis, a look that said, 'We need that item', before turning to look back at the merchant, whose eyes were affixed on hers. "We'll help get your supplies back. But you have to tell us everything you know. How long did you leave your cart unattended? Can you think of anyone who'd have reason to steal from you?" She released his arm, took a half-step back, and let the merchant explain everything while he rubbed the soreness from the spot she'd been gripping. When he'd finished, Quinn nodded in acknowledgment.

"We'll find your stolen goods. But when we do, you're going to give us what we came here for... Free of charge." In no position to argue, the merchant simply nodded. Satisfied, Quinn turned on her heel and headed down the street, with Curtis likely in tow. They had a thief to catch.

Interaction: Khione Aster Aster and Brendan Skryx Skryx

Quest: Monster raid
Status: In progress
Location: Miasto // Crassus' Mansion
As they took their time making their way into the mansion itself, they were met with a slight stench that was undoubtedly not anything human they would know of. The front door that provided the threshold to the living room itself was dingy and a cold breeze swept past Octavius.

"They're definitely here alright," he said to no one in particular even though it was just Khione and himself. As he took a step forward again, he reached for the ring that was on his index finger on his right hand. It was always there but it became a habit just to check especially with missions like these that were abrupt. As he made his way to the left wing of the floor, he heard the sound of shuffling and footsteps that was obviously not of Khione's.

The black-haired male turned around to find that he was bumped into. He didn't want to be silly and attack someone or something that wasn't of tenebrae and he was glad he did because to his surprise, stood a friend of his that he has been quite fond off, other than Khione and a few others, Brendan O' Brian.

"Brendan? Why are you here?" He asked with his eyes widened slightly. He was half glad that another person he knew was here but then again, they could be in danger. "We're at Crassus' Mansion. There's tenebrae in here and a man required assistance to get his step father out. So Khione and I took on the job-" Just as he was about to finish his explanation, a low howl could be heard from above them. Alongside the crackling of wood from above, as though there were people running.

He raised his index finger and something begin to form in front of him. It started out as a small amount of almost black liquid on the floor before it shaped to form a figure in front of them- a duplicate of Octavius himself. "More help, the better." He merely said with a shrug before gesturing upstairs.

Interaction: Kaia Polaris. Polaris. and Rob Skryx Skryx
Quest: The touch of Excalibur
Status: In progress
Location: Requiem Dark Forest // Hyperion Cave

The sound of somebody's wristwatch could be heard ticking away in the middle of the Dark Forest. It was situated about a mile off Requiem Academy. Usually the Dark Forest was dimly-lit in the mornings all through the late afternoon, courtesy of the many gaps the leaves on the numerous trees the forest behold.

Tick, tick, tick...

Uriah Kershaw looked down to check the time but realised that it was too dark to see, even if they had a flashlight in hand. The battery on his were almost dying out from the amount of use it had undergone from the male's rendezvous and night adventures with his friends. He reckoned it was about 2200 hours at the very least.

"Do you think we'll find the ghost of that sword?" He asked his two friends who were slightly behind him, following his trail as he tried to recall the map he had memorised a few hours ago. "I bet you'll run away first, Rob." He teased with a chuckle before flashing his torchlight at the other male's chest.

Not to mention, his other best friend, Kaia was standing beside him and he knew that his thoughts had reached her, knowing full well that Robert Daze wasn't one to reject a dare at all. The sound of an owl cooing made the blond look up and a pair of almost glowing black eyes stared at him. "Jeez." Was all he said before looking back at the two.

The Dark Forest was, well, dark. Rob had only been here a handful of times at night and never in this area. They had been tracking for a while now in almost complete silence -unusual for the three of them. He was just starting to wonder if Uriah had gotten them lost when he spoke up.

Rob snorted. "Yeah, sure Uriah." He rolled his eyes, though he knew his president couldn't see the action. "You would like that wouldn't you. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" He had his own torch but it hung loosely off his wrist, unused. He was perfectly at ease here in the dark having had more than a few late night -or early morning- flights. And he definitely wasn't afraid of any ghost they may or may not find.

"Five desserts says you run first. Goddess knows the reward you put for this quest is not worth it," he smirked, chuckling when the shorter boy was startled by an owl. "Scared of a bird, Uriah?" Rob taunted him with an evil grin, flicking his torch on and swinging it upward to his face -momentarily flickering his eyes to that of a bird and then back to normal. "What about you?" He turned to Kaia, torch still shining beneath his face to create a creepy visage. "Who do you think'll run first?"

Hyperion Cave || Uriah & Robbie || Incomplete

The eerie silence was only broken by the ticking of an unknown watch. If this wasn’t a haunted horror test, she didn’t know what was and the only thing that’s keeping her sane was knowing that she wasn’t completely alone. This meant if ghosts truly did exist, she only had a one-third chance of getting possessed. Thank god for statistics. She kept her breathing rather even knowing both of the guys would tease her on the spot if they knew she was even just slightly apprehensive about this whole thing. But just hearing, “Kaia, I dare you to-“ made her pounce, “I’ll do it!”

The female was well equipped with weapons, her daggers were strapped tightly on either of her thighs and she was wearing leather shorts this time for easy access. Her sheer white tank top was draped loosely over her body, flowing side to side as the howling wind blew against the trio. The rustling trees, the chirping crickets, and the soft breaths were only alerting the three to walk away from this dare and never come back.

As if that was going to happen.

“Of course we’re going to find the sword,” Kaia replied confidently, her smile was already showing yet masked by the darkness at hand. “I’m here after all. Don’t worry Uriah, I’ll protect you and Robbie can just peck the ghosts away,” she snickered, nudging playfully against his arm as she caught up to his trail. Her eyes scanned the surrounding but she couldn’t see much other than the dim light glowing from Uriah. His teasing was appreciated, distracting her from all the thoughts that the three of them were going to die, buried into the ground by freakishly ugly ghosts, and no one would know any better. They have been walking for a while and Kaia knew she would have gotten them all lost thus Uriah was entrusted with the directions. “Robbie is always the first to ditch us at the sign of trouble,” Kaia quipped, agreeing with her president and withheld her chuckle when he was startled by an owl.

As Robbie turned on his torch, the brunette turned to laughed at his visage. “Well, Uriah is easily frighten but you’re also pretty flaky,” Kaia joked centering herself in between both of them. Kaia could see that they were getting closer as the light shows some object in the distance albeit it could be absolutely nothing but she wasn’t taking her chances. She placed her arms over each of their shoulder, pulling them close before giving each a kiss on the cheek.

“Aww, you know how much I love you guys right?” she posed the rhetorical question to both. This was Kaia to go phrase when she was up some mischief. Her eyes darted ahead as she pulled both of them backwards behind her. “Last one to the sword is a rotten egg! Loser buys dinner tomorrow!” she shouted, dashing full force ahead to the unknown as she turned on her own flashlight. For all she knew, it could have been a tenebrae instead.

Quest: Rat Infestation

Quest #2: Rat Infestation

Ѧ
The pair traveled in stilted silence, fast approaching their destination. Quinn held her chin high, and walked with a hand resting on the pommel of her sword in its sheath, fastened securely around her waist with a black leather belt. Her thoughts were with the mission at hand, now. Rats. Tenebrae rats, at that. Certainly not the most glorious assignment. Luckily, glory didn't matter all that much to her.

"Nikola." Quinn stopped short, turning slightly to face the fellow Syndicate. She caught his gaze and held it. She started to say something, but caught the words before they could pass her lips. After a half second's hesitation, she chose to say something completely different instead. "Don't underestimate them." The rats, she meant. Her gaze lingered; she had more to say, but not now. Then, with a nod in lieu of anything substantial, she turned away, facing toward their destination ahead: a storehouse near the docks of Requiem. As they approached the site, a tall, cloaked man emerged, and Quinn's grip around her sword-hilt instinctively tightened. He threw back his hood and stepped into the light. His face was haggard, his eyes wide and tired looking at the same time.

"You two must be Magisters. Thank you for coming. I am Hale, and I manage this storehouse."

Quinn nodded in response, saying nothing. Hale swallowed audibly, then ushered them over to a heavy wooden door, which had been hastily shored up with iron-linked chains. Hale produced a large key from the fold of his robe and unlocked the door, the chains falling away and to the ground with a loud, metallic crash. The door heaved open, and without hesitation, Quinn stepped inside, into the blackened tomb that was once a storehouse. Once they were both inside, the door rattled shut behind them, and the both of them were plunged into darkness.

Quest: Rat Infestation

Status: In Progress

DAMN RATS!
Quests like these were Nikola's favorite. They were quick, easy, and provided good enough experience for him. Along with that, Nikola was lucky enough to defeat this task with someone who he admired, Quinn. So as they made their way to their destination, he was pretty excited, even if his face was stone cold. The two students were there in no time, and as they arrived to the warehouse, the atmosphere seemed to shift a bit. Niko held eye contact with Quinn as she addressed him, but didn't comment on the fact that there seemed to be more she wanted to say.

In his right hand was his bow, and strapped on his back was a bag filled with arrows. The 19 year old stayed silent as the warehouse manager introduced himself, then opened the door for the two of them. Quinn was the first inside, and Nikola followed closely behind her. Once the door shut, and it was only the two of them in dark, Niko finally spoke up. "Anything to light the way?" His words were whispered, as he didn't want to scare away any nearby rats. Also, whispering seemed like the right thing to do in such a situation.

Niko shifted his gaze around the room, and tried to make out any shapes or objects in the darkness. However, the boy had no luck, and instead stuck out his hand, opting for feel for something instead. "Maybe there's a light switch around here."

BOB

Quest: Monster Raid
Status: In Progress

For a moment, Bob forgot his actual name and glanced around to look for this 'Brendan'. Then he remembered and turned back to the older boy, a little embarrassed to have forgotten his real name. It wasn't his fault. Who called him that anymore? Only Octavius...which brought his back to what his fellow student was saying. Bob stared at Octavius. "Wait, what?" He said, still confused. Did Octavius really say tenebrae? Tenebrae, in here? A low howl from above answered his question and he clutched onto his cards tightly. As Octavius started to form a seriously cool thing -Bob didn't know what it was, maybe a super badass animal- oh it was a clone of himself. Nice. That was pretty neat. Man, Octavius's powers were hella cool. Oh wait, what?

"Oh- er- I didn't really," Bob fumbled with his words as Octavius gestured for him to lead the way up. I'm not really supposed to be here. The words died on tongue. This was a quest wasn't it? And he was a Magister. To-be. Or something. He was supposed to be here. Well, not really, but he could be. Besides was he really going to pass up the chance to see more of Octavius's powers? He didn't think so. So Bob cleared his throat instead and tried to appear confident. "Yeah, alright. Let's do this. Man." He tucked his cards securely into his jacket pocket. Then slowly, he walked up the stairs, gaining a little confidence with every step. Yup, thaaat's it. It's not so bad is it?

Then he reached the next floor and was pushed back as someone ran by, screaming. He looked to what they were running from and paled, seeing a tenebrae rapidly approaching from the end of the corridor. He just managed to register that it looked a little dog like. A rabid dog anyway. Within in seconds it was just a few meters away. And then with a low growl it pounced. With a yelp, Bob dropped to the ground and the beast sailed over his head. He scrambled to his feet, backing away, hoping Octavius would do something.

Zander & Jack ( normal normal )

Quest #1: The Thief
"So you said you saw a man walk up to Genino's stand earlier? What was he doing?"

Zander stood with his hands on his hips on the corner of one of the many strees that criss-crossed Requiem's Market District, interviewing a woman who had claimed to have some information pertinent to the crime. He and Jack were investigating a robbery that had left a local merchant bereft of all of his wares. However, the trail, it seemed, had gone cold. If Berta's eye witness account was anything to go by, that is.

"Well, there I was, standing right across the way, there." She pointed to a spot across the street in clear view of the stand. "And I saw this man acting very strangely near Geronimo's-"

"Genino's."

"Yes, yes. Genino's stand. And he was just acting so peculiarly! Stamping his feet, shouting, and carrying on like he was."

"What did he look like? Can you remember what he was wearing? Any scars, or unique features?"

"Well, yes. He had a thick, bushy mustache, and he was wearing a hat and a bright red coat!" She exclaimed, proud of her recollection.

"Ma'am, the person you're describing is Mr. Genino. He was acting peculiarly because he'd just found out he'd been robbed."

"Oh..."

Zander sighed, and thanked the woman for her time, sending her on her way. After she waddled off, he sighed again and stared down at the ground for a few seconds. When he looked up, he caught sight of Jack. Zander waved him over. Hopefully he'd had better luck at finding any possible leads, though he wasn't holding his breath. He stuffed a hand in his pants pocket, felt the piece in his hands, and tried to think of the best way to go about this mission. He was no detective, and this job might've been better served by someone with more... Intuition. But, he was here now. No use wondering over what might've been.

When Jack was in earshot, he asked, "Any luck? Nothing but dead ends here."

→ quest: the assortment

→ mood: a bit annoyed (though for no reason other than he wants to be) but he's enjoying his current task.
Despite the fact that Cerin had taken up this particular 'quest' --- 'it really is not a fucking quest,' he'd argue --- with few grumbled curses and a stomp of his foot, he was enjoying it far more than he likely would with any of the others. It was known by most that he wasn't the most ambitious or hard-working individual and he preferred to be curled up in a corner sleeping than going out and picking some fucking apples for some person that couldn't do it themselves. The thought alone made the small, raven-haired male scoff.

Cleaning, though? Everyone knew that the Syndicate Vice President had a thing for tidiness.

The sleeves of his dark, too large sweater were pushed up the pale lengths of his arms and with ease he pulled on gray latex gloves that nearly reached his elbows. They were far too large for his slim fingers, but they would keep him from touching anything that he didn't want to and that was all the really mattered to him. He blew at the bangs that were constantly falling into his eyes, but it did little more than shift them a bit and cause his vision to be even more distorted. With an irritated huff, he grabbed for the dusting spray and the rag he'd brought out with it.

The scent of artificial lemon hit his nose as soon as he worked to spray down one of the various end tables and he sneezed, a muffled noise that sounded more like a heavy exhale. He shook his head a bit before he pressed the piece of fabric to the wooden surface and wiped away all the remnants that showed off the Syndicate President's laziness.

At some point he tucked his nose into the collar of his sweater, scrubbing aggressively at a sticky spot that just would not come off. He liked to clean, yes, but that didn't mean he enjoyed the chemicals used to complete such a task. Often times after he'd gone on a spree, he found himself outside to escape the nauseating fumes. He didn't much like the outside air either, but it was better than being suffocated.

Dusting took quite a bit of time, though nowhere near as much time as readjusting the cushions on the various sofas and folding the blankets that were tossed carelessly across their backs. There happened to be far too many pieces of furniture in the Syndicate house and it resulted in more messes than Cerin liked to think about. Stripping his hands of the gloves he'd been wearing, he started to gather books that had been left around and carried them back to the library, where he started to organize and alphabetize them.

Quest #2: Rat Infestation

Ѧ
Quinn agreed. It was dark. Too dark to see clearly. If they were going to fight in here, even if it was only rats, they'd need light. She only hoped that they hadn't turned the power off in the building once the rats took over. She reached out a hand in the dark, feeling for a switch along the wall to her left. Though her touch was met only with the feel of cool, wet concrete. She took a tentative step forward, using the wall as her guide. The sound of rustling from above stopped her in her tracks. She raised a hand to Niko's chest to stop him from proceeding, on the off chance he hadn't heard. Something was moving above them.

A screech, followed by the sound of sharp nails grating against metal was all the warning they were given. Quinn wrenched her sword free of its sheath, turning just in time to make out the shape of something falling straight toward her. She swung her sword, painting a wide arc above her with its blade. She heard whatever it was squeal, and felt the blade slice through corrupted flesh. Two halves of a dead Tenebris rat fell at her feet. It was the largest rat she'd ever seen.

Her eyes had begun to adjust to the dark, just in time to watch the floor before them, the ceiling above them, and the walls around them come alive. In an instant, everything was moving, and the noise, what sounded like one hundred pairs of tiny, skittering legs, erupted around them. Quinn brandished her blade, eyes straining against the gloom.

"Niko... Find that light switch."

He knew that the other male wouldn't resist a chance at betting of some sort. It was a go-to past time for them, or to be more exact, a practice of theirs. "At least I admit I get a bit scared sometimes but don't ditch our trio, Rob," he said with a grin before making his way to the three.

After having gotten a kiss each from Kaia, the male grinned and wrapped both his arms around Kaia and Rob respectively. He then proceeded to give them Uriah Kershaw's famous hug. After that, he turned to Rob with a smirk before saying, "It's a bet then. First to run buys five desserts and does every bet given for a week."

Just as he said that, the female had taken off, already starting the ball rolling by placing another bet that was required to be completed within five minutes. "You're on!" The male yelled before hurriedly taking his clothes off. "You better hurry, Rob. Don't catch a cold too if you wanna transform," he continued before stuffing his clothes and underwear into his bag in a ball.

Slowly, feathers grew on his body and his form begin to widen and grow horizontally too. Soon enough, he was about four times the size of a normal eagle, almost the size of a Griffin. He then grabbed his bag with his beak before taking off into the night sky, flapping his wings gracefully as ever.

His eyes glowed a light red and when he looked down, he noticed Kaia still running her way to the cave that was a bit more up ahead. He gave a low call to her, chuckling to himself before flexing his wings, preparing for landing. Just after the female had reached, his claws touched the ground, waiting for Rob, wondering whether he had somehow reached first or not.

"Yes, Kaia. The ghosts are very afraid of my pecs," Rob grinned, raising both arms and flexing them. "Hey, I've never ditched you guys. Y'all are just too slow. Not my fault if you can't keep up," he joked. "And i always do every bet. Unlike some people." Just then, Kaia sprinted off, leaving them behind. "Mother-" He tore off his shirt. "I'm way too hot to catch a cold!" He boasted, immediately morphing into a swift and taking to the air, leaving his clothes behind but clutching his small torch in his claws.

Whilst Uriah flew above, Rob kept close to the ground, zipping around trees and undergrowth and making the most of the agility this small form afforded him. He wasn't exactly sure who had reached first but given his small size and dark feathers it was likely the two of them hadn't spotted him. So instead of stopping outside, he flew straight in, far enough that they couldn't see inside before shifting back to drop onto his feet gracefully. He picked up his torch and flicked it on and off to check if it was still working. Then he walked back outside nonchalantly, not caring that he was naked.

"What took you so long," he said casually, pushing back his fair hair. Reaching out, he tugged Uriah's backpack from his beak, digging around inside and throwing the clothes Uriah has stuffed inside minutes before at his president before he found what he was looking for. The spare clothes he had stashed in Uriah's backpack before they left on the quest. Without him knowing of course. "Let's go out to that steak place tomorrow," voice muffled by the shirt over his head. "Uriah is paying."

Even when she was so far ahead, she could still hear Robbie’s voice accentuated in the deafening silence from before. “Please Robbie, you’re the only one who thinks you’re hot,” she yelled backwards. His ego was ginormous leading to Kaia always trying to dampen it to no avail. She had no idea which forms either of them took but she knew that she is at a disadvantage every time they bet on distance. It sucked when she didn’t have a skateboard when she needed it most and thus Kaia relied on what she does best: running. She could see the entrance to the cave. So close! The wind above from Uriah’s wings caught her attention but Kaia slid, reaching there first as she threw her hands up to celebrate.

“Beat that!” The babe fist pumped skyward to the air but they soon realized that Robbie was nowhere to be found. “Shit did he get lost?”

But his voice startled her from behind and he looked as if he came out of a fairy tale book with the cocky smile while he pushed the platinum blonde hair back. She turned around to face with his glorious naked body and while the sixteen Kaia would shriek and cover her eyes, the eighteen years old Kaia has matured enough thanks to Uriah’s punishments. “Robbie,” she said sweetly as he took his clothes from Uriah’s backpack. “Since you’re, you know, hot and all, I dare you to do this whole experience…naked. Yeah you heard me, totally naked. Say good bye to that pretty little shirt.”

Her head tilted high with a smirk in place knowing that he would probably say yes and Kaia gets the best of both world. But soon her eyes flickered to Uriah’s direction as she waited for him to turn back to his original body. As she handed Uriah his clothes, Kaia grinned brightly at free food. “Looks like I’m blowing off your budget for this week, pres. I want a filet mignon with extra smashed potatoes. Thank you. I love you most, you know that.”

The blond merely laughed when he realised he had lost the immediate bet. Of course he didn't like losing but the adrenaline he would often get from betting with his friends were worth it. Slowly, the feathers from his body begin to almost be sucked in, out of sight and his body shrunk back to his usual size, leaving him bare for his friends to see.

The fact that they were in the Dark Forest made the cold air up his now naked back more prominent. He turned around to face Rob before saying, "I was doing my part with elegance," before grabbing at the shirt Kaia had handed him and bunched it up until he stuck his head into it.

"Thanks, Kaia." He said before flattening down the shirt. He then grabbed his underwear and jeans before slipping them on shortly. Just as he was about to look for his sneakers, she proposed a bet that both of them knew Rob couldn't pass up, even if he wanted to. "First of all, both of you know that I cook the best anything," he said before bending down and tying one of his shoelaces.

"Second of all, do it, Rob." He gave the male a wide grin before snatching the other male's shirt away and stuffing it back in its original place- Uriah's bag. Uriah then placed his hand out, waiting for more of Rob's clothing to come off.

"Kaia and I will protect you if anything happens, I swear." He teased before glancing back at the female.

Although he was used to a lot of ridiculous bets, this latest one from Kaia made even him pause as Uriah snatched away his shirt. He chewed his lip, thinking it over. But not for long."Oh, what the hell," Rob started to unbutton the pants he just wriggled into. As he did so, he addressed Uriah. "You may cook something worth a damn, but the deal was to buy dinner. We're going to that steak place and you can wave that money you earned on that last quest goodbye." Once they were off, he chucked his pants at Kaia, smirking when it hit her square in the face. He was completely naked now, barefoot not a single stitch of clothing on him. The only things he had on him were his torch and his regalia hanging from his necklace displayed on his bare chest. It was cold, but not enough to make him shiver. It wasn't too awkward, seeing as it was hardly the first time he had been naked in front of them. In fact, he felt pretty comfortable. "Puh-lease. Nothing can touch this," he gestured to himself. "And if you wanted to stare at my ass, all you had to do was ask, Kaia," he winked, smirking at her before turning towards the cave entrance.

He only took a few steps on rough, rocky ground before he stopped, struck by an idea. "Actually," he said, drawing the word out as he looked back. "Why am I the only one naked," a sly smirk started to make its way onto his lips. "I dare you both to do this whole quest naked too. Alll the way back to the Academy. Unless...you're both too chicken?" At the end of his sentence, he morphed into the very same bird -making sure to clip his torch onto his necklace first-, clucking and strutting around their feet, egging them on.

She pursed her lips, thinking she really had upped him on this one. I mean, who really wants to be butt naked in some kind of dark dungeon where god knows what will happen? If she wants going to die, she wanted to die pretty and clothed, thank you very much. But Kaia should have known nothing would deter Robbie, the nudist by heart, from agreeing with her dare. The banter between whether a home cooked meal was better than a paid meal didn’t register to her because either way, she wasn’t going to be paying for the meal. As long as she had steak and potatoes for dinner tomorrow, Kaia was a happy camper. It wasn’t hard to please the little brunette at all.

She nodded, agreeing as Uriah promised to protect Rob from danger. “I’ll take your behind, love. Uriah can have your front anytime,” she winked playfully but not before he threw his pants at her, smacking directly in her face.

Rudee.

“Robbie. Chicken by day. Nudist by night. Who would have known? Is this why you’re still single?” she commented, snatching it off her face and tossing it to Uriah so he could put the pants away.

The whole scene and scenario amused her to no end and she was going to take this opportunity to mess with the ever so nonchalant butt naked male. But even butt naked, he still managed to maintain dignity and a flattered ego. “Robbie, I’ve seen a lot of asses. Yours is not on my top ten list. Uriah…however,” she elbowed the Pandora President. They only were able to take a few steps inside the cave entrance before Robbie paused and an alarm went off in Kaia’s head.

Uh. Oh.

And oh, was she right. “You’re the only one naked because you look better naked,” Kaia attempted to distract him, giving him two thumbs up but it didn’t do much. And there it was. The sentence she had a feeling he would say and even worse, he turned into a chicken, squawking like an idiot around them. It only took a moment for her to reconsider but off went her white sheer tank top.

“Puh-lease, Robbie. Is that all you got? How do you like this now, big boy?” Kaia threw her shirt at Robbie, the chicken before her leather pants went off as well as her bra. Every article of clothing removed was tossed at Robbie for pay back and as well as probably getting her sick tomorrow. She could hear Kaye’s voice scolding her right now.

Kaia! For Goddess’s sake! Put your clothes back on! Well…too late.

She turned towards Uriah, raising an eyebrow with a her hands on her hip as she leaned slightly closer to him. “Your turn. C’mon. Take it off.”

But Kaia wasn’t done with Robert yet. “Oh. And Robbie? If you wanted to stare at my chest, all you had to do was ask,” she blew him a kiss.

Uriah Kershaw grinned like an idiot as Kaia took care of his friend's ego. He didn't mind the male when he was flaunting his body back and forward. In fact, the blond had to admit that Rob's body wasn't the worst. He had seen worse, courtesy of his rule of completing all task given by yours truly, even if it was absurd and made no sense whatsoever.

"Thank you, Kaia," he said with a little laugh before sighing. He didn't mind getting naked, let alone in front of his two best friends. He wasn't proud of his body but he certainly wasn't ashamed of it, especially with some of his female friends wishing that certain males from their affiliation and others had a prostrate like his own.

"Fine." Was all Uriah said whilst holding his hands up in defence before proceeding to slowly take off each article of clothing he had on, including his footwear. The male didn't have a clearly-defined chest that resembled the Gods but it was pleasing to look at, in his opinion.

Next was his jeans. He used one hand to unbutton it before pulling down at the zipper. Using his legs, he kicked them off, along his shoes before using both his hands to take his underwear off and his socks, baring to them his crotch. He didn't say anything but turned his butt to face Rob and say, "You can kiss my behind, Robert."

After that, he turned to find Kaia who actually took her clothes off. One of the reasons he loved her was because she actually did certain stuff that she didn't actually need to but it was a lie if he were to say that he wasn't worried about her or Rob for that matter but Rob was Rob and knowing Rob, he'd be participative by volunteering to strip on his own. "You sure you want to, Kaia? You can use your shirt if you want to, just without your pants-" before he finished, the sound of scratching could be heard from inside the cave.

The sound itself could be heard outside due to its echo. "Well, looks like we're going in then." He said before stuffing the clothes and his pair of shoes into his bag and holding his flashlight into the darkness of the cave.

Rob gave the chicken equivalent of a laugh as he was buried in Kaia's clothes. Damn, this girl really could match him point for point. They'd known each other for three years now and he still hasn't managed to give her bet she wouldn't take. He shook off the most of them before shifting back into a human to speak. "I never knew you wanted me in your pants K," he told her smugly, shaking off her pants and plucking off the bra that had stayed on his head and flicking it at her. "What chest?" he asked innocently, holding up a hand as if to shade his eyes from a non-existent sun and looking around in an exaggerated manner. "I don't see any chest here other than Uriah's," he teased her. Catching sight of Uriah's butt aimed at his face, Rob shied away.

"Ahhh, my eyes!" He clutched at his face, stumbling over to Kaia and covering her eyes. "Save yourself K!" He said dramatically, before breaking out in laughter. Sobering a little when he heard the soft scratching from inside the cave, he unclipped his torch. He couldn't resist one last grin at Kaia though. "I think in this case, ladies not first." With that, he sauntered in after Uriah, flicking on his torch and unable to resist waggling his ass, betting that she wouldn't be able to stop herself from looking.

The cave was -obviously- dark. And damp and cold. He shone his light over the walls and found nothing in particular of interest. Were there bats inside this cave? Maybe even tenebrae? Rob started to grin, the thrill of the quest making his heart pump faster. "Let's go president." He flashed Uriah a wide, toothy smile.

Jack whipped out one of his many very professional-looking notepads, a cream color adorned with stickers of cupcakes, as well as a pen of the same design.

"Okay, so, this woman was—uh—walking from his shop down the road with a suspiciously large stroller?" The woman he was questioning nodded fervently. Not meaning to undermine her testimony in any way, he kept a straight face. "Okay, and why do you think she was the thief?"

"That stroller could've been full of his merchandise, I say!" Jack wrote this down on his notepad, word for word, exclamation point included.

"Yes, but, don't you think the people passing her on the street would've seen the merchandise in her stroller?" Jack proposed the obvious question.

"It wasn't very busy at the time." She answered plainly. Jack stifled an exasperated sigh as he thanked the woman and headed down the street to meet up with Zander.

"I... I don't have anything. The other vendors seem to just... not be alert?" Jack said, trying to find a euphemism rather than outright saying they don't care. "On the bright side, we've only interviewed half this street, so there are still many people we have yet to question!"

There was a curious thought in the back of his mind, though. Why were Magisters called to take care of this instead of the police? Although, he had to admit, it was nice. It was as if they were roleplaying as police officers for the time being.

"Uh... good cop bad cop?" Jack shrugged. Ignoring his response, he walked up to the next vendor; taking out his same notepad and pen, he started the questioning.

"Hello!" A cheery greeting to start, he continued. "Sir, I'm sure you've heard of the robbery that occurred around three days ago down the street at Mr. Genino's stand, have you seen any suspicious activity around that area at the time?"
