MR. MASON STEELE
"Are you worried, little boy? Angry? Scared?" Mason mocked, tilting his head in that canine fashion. "You do realise, I can hear everything you mutter. No doubt you know what I am." Steele remarked, popping his free hand of knuckles. "I"m going to break you, Lucifer. And you're going to hate me for it. Detest me. But I'll abuse that anger till theres none left to give." Keeping his hand on the scruff of the lads neck, he military marched the demon through the school till they came upon the front. Shoving Lucifer out onto the gravel driveway only to follow.

Mason kicked off his leather brogues, ditching the socks to then stand on the sharp stones beside the boy. Evidently as a werewolf, and brought up in a pack environment he was entirely used to terrain such as this. Unfortunately, he knew that to be different for Lucifer. Slapping the young man heavily on the shoulder he shook out his arms and gave the young man a shove. "Everything you do, I'll do. Shows you what a little discipline can manage. And why you don't break my fucking gym." Steele remarked with evident disgruntlement. "If your feet start bleeding, we'll finish up five minutes early to get you cleaned up by the school nurse. But till then, you better just get used to bleedin'."

Wynter smiled and nodded his head, glad that he now knew the name of Ezra. He turned his head when Gene appeared, and not out of nowhere this time. "Ah, hey Gene. Did you get I see the fight?" He asked, giving him a small wave since he wasn't far away. He turned his head back to Ezra, who was introducing his puppet, telling him that his name was Matthew and that he was a very close friend. However, Wynter was slightly confused, because even though he said it was a close friend, Ezra's voice was quite monotone sounding neither happy nor sad when talking about Matthew. Right after Ezra said Matthew was something very special to him, he dropped him, causing Wynter to take a half step back as well, as he had no clue what was getting ready to happen. "Ah, yeah, I would like to see something interesting." He said, nodding his head knowing that whatever this guy thought was interesting just had to be interesting.

He felt a bit happy inside that he was willing to stay and see. "I hope you enjoy the show," he said. Ezra started to move his fingers up and down, causing Matthew's head and arms to jerk and bend like a robot. Ezra put one of his hands behind his back and then pulled it back out and showed another puppet, a female with long brown hair with ringlets and Victorian style clothing, and holding a hand fan. He moved his fingers again, causing the threads connected to the female puppet to make her cover her mouth with her purple fan and extend her other hand out to Matthew. Ezra then fiddled with the threads connected to Matthew with his other hand and caused Matthew to take the girl's hand. Ezra made then dance, ballroom dance style for a bit but then made them separate. The casing for Matthew's arms fell off, to reveal a mini-sword attached to the elbow. Then afterward, the female puppet's fan spread out, small spike attached to the tips of the folded sections of her fan. Ezra then made Matthew attack her with his sword arm, while make the female block it with her fan, which is as hard as metal. After a bit of battling between the two m, he stopped and turned them to face Wynter and made them bow and courtesy. Ezra bowed as well. "I did not show everything I can do with my puppets but I hoped you enjoyed the glimpse," he said as the casing around Matthew attached itself to Matthew.

Wynter watched the mini puppet show, smiling a bit when they began fighting each other. He was glad that the puppets could fight, knowing that it would be useful. " ah, you're right. It was interesting." He said, his eyes widening in surprise a bit when they bowed and he was told that was only a glimpse of what they could do. "So they're your friends? You've put a lot of detail into them it looks like... Did you have a human model or something of the sort?" He asked, hoping he wasn't stepping on a land mine when he asked. "You don't have to answer if it's too personal..." He added a few moments later, not wanting to force his way into Ezra's personal affairs. He believed that he would be told when Ezra was ready to tell him, and was in no rush, as they had five years after all. "Ah I'm kind of hungry... I need a snack..." He said as his stomach made a low grumbling noise, since he hadn't eaten lunch. As he was thinking too much and forgot about it, and he hadn't had breakfast for fear of being late.

Chen lay in the bed, the voices were around her now, looking at her. She was there, but also not. She saw something else, at the same time. She was walking towards someone, at least she thinks she is. She sees Wynter there. She should be happy, but she's not. His face is bright, he is bright, he's just so BRIGHT. No, that isn't nice. The voices spoke to her now, curling her hand into a claw. "He won't be there for you, he won't care. Just like the others. Do it. Do it do it do it. Just a few seconds is all it takes. " The voice was singular now, a smooth woman's voice, in her ear walking next to her. Her voice was like the night, it was like death itself. Cold and unfeeling. She willed herself to stop. Wynter wasn't just looking at her now. The boy with some dolls was looking at her. She couldn't hurt them. She didn't know if they would abandon her. "Are you going to wait until they do? They'll find your weak spot and drive a stake, right in there. Kill them. KILL THEM NOW! Chen sat up "NOOO! I WON'T HURT THEM!" The woman disappeared. The hallway faded from her sight, like the changing of a picture. All she could see was the infirmary. She gasped and wondered what just happened. Lucifer

proxy.php

Oh, I already hate you, thought the demon bitterly. There's no need for breakin' me; you crossed the line a long time ago. The way Steele had put it; he made it sound as if Lucifer were some unruly animal needing to be tamed. Which was technically true---Lucifer was no human on any standard, and he was in desperate need of discipline. After a century of causing chaos and havoc all around Earth, this creature needed to be broken.

But he didn't want to be broken. Lucifer was proud of his unruly spirit, of his recklessness and chaotic persona. It was what made his demonic nature. It would take more than just painful runs and detentions to break that, and Lucifer was hell-bent on seeing Steele fail his assignment.

Lucifer was dragged along by the Big Bad Wolf, all the way up until they were outside, in the freezing cold. The temperature had dropped immensely, and wind finally began blowing. It was evening, and it was already getting dark. Lucifer was shoved out onto the gravel driveway, hard enough to lose balance and fall on his knees. Lucifer didn't wince at the pain, but he did feel the sharpness of the stone.
It wouldn't take long for Lucifer to start bleeding, that's for sure. Lucifer got up, wiping his hands before someone slapped him on the shoulder, and shoved him again.

Lucifer growled under his breath as the canine kept talking. It was an unnatural sound. Not a wolf-kind of growl, but a demonic one, low and menacing. Bitter memories of bein' down under flooded his mind for a moment at the mention of blood. "Believe me," he answered back spitefully. "I'm already used to it."
He began to run, glad the cold didn't affect him. He started out strong, keeping a good pace, the wind refreshing as he began to perspire. Demons were stronger than humans and their stamina levels were extremely high. But Lucifer was a young one, so his endurance level wasn't very impressive, compared to Steele's.
After about thirty minutes, his feet started getting sore.
The gravel started to become painful, and Lucifer could feel bruises appearing under his feet. It was obviously bearable, and Lucifer did not falter. But soon, those bruises became cuts. Small cuts; they were not worth struggling over. And so, Lucifer ignored the pain and kept running, acting as if they didn't bother him. It had only been two hours, and Lucifer was already tired. His muscles began to feel sore, and those cuts soon became gashes; blood began to flow out, becoming worse by the second.
Lucifer couldn't help but wince, or maybe give out a small cry of pain when his foot had stepped on an especially sharp one. His muscles ached with fatigue, and his feet burned with pain. Each step was practically intolerable, each passing moment seeming like an eternity. Lucifer was so distracted in his own troubles that he barely noticed Steele was right beside him, acting as if this was nothing. Don't show your pain, he ordered himself countless times, but every time, he couldn't help it. It had been decades since he had endured this kind of work out and discomfort.

Finally, after four full hours of running, Lucifer gave out. He slowed to a stop, falling on knees, legs so tired from the exertion that they couldn't even hold him. I ain't giving up, he thought between gasps of breath. Just..so...tired.

GENE
"No i didn't see the fight. Only the start like everyone else. " he gave a small smile, watching the other two interact and the puppet fight. 'Interesting, i haven't seen the sort of power before. Only that one demon that could control humans...not sure how, but it wasn't mind control.' He shook his head gently, stopping his inner dialogue. Gene smiled when Wynter mentioned eating. "I'm sure we can see if the cafeteria or somewhere has food..." he suggested. He smiled, wishing he knew more about them, to make the conversation easier to keep flowing. He just liked being social after all.

MISS CRYSTAL
Crystal was deep in thought when the girl was thrashing in what seemed of a nightmare. When the girl jerked up and yelled, Crystal jumped from her seat and was by the girls side. "Ssh. It's okay your in the infirmary, nobody is....hurt." She had to pause thinking of the torture Steele would be putting the fire boy through. "Are you okay do you need any thing Miss?" She asked carefully.

Chen heard the lady talk to her. The real woman, not the voice. She was asking if she was okay. She cleared her throat. "I guess. I just got my ass kicked though. Used my powers too much, in the wrong ways. Feel pretty damn stupid." Her head still hurt, but the dizziness was gone. Felt like she got slammed around, and then some. She looked up at the woman. "I saw you when I fell, are you the nurse?" She wondered if the boy was still on the field, or back in class. q r o w q r o w

Crystal smiled gently. "No I'm a teacher here, I teach power expansion. My name is Miss Crystal" Which didn't even sum what she thought. Anything with power was her area. Or at least a lot of it. "The boy that was with you is with the physical education teacher, probably enduring hard punishment." Crystal said. "Would you like some water? Or something for the pain?" She asked calmly.

Chen looked at Crystal in confusion. So, she's not a nurse, but a teacher? I just tried killing one of her co-workers and now she's caring if I need water? What the hell is wrong with this school? Maybe she's relaxing like Fisher did. Trying to get us to make a move. See which of us are problematic. Well, two can play that game. Chen thought while she looked down. "Oh no, I'm fine. I don't need anything." She looked down again, now acting sad. "My mother taught me that lesson the hard way when she abandoned me at the hospital after my accident." Chen sighed and frowned, laying it on thick. "Ever since then I've known I can't rely on adults for their help. But I guess I should thank you for offering." She said, looking the other way to create a false distance between them. Guilt and pity were excellent distractions. q r o w q r o w

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot there was a cafeteria here." Wynter said, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. "Hopefully they'll give us a snack at the least, since I'm pretty sure dinner or whatever they call it is soon. If not then I'm sure there's a vending machine somewhere around here." He said, knowing he had seen one in one of these hallways. "Anyways... Are you two coming?" He asked, turning to look at Gene and Ezra, not wanting to drag them along by force. He was no mind reader, so he only knew that he was hungry, and that he wanted food. He didn't know if Ezra or Gene was hungry, or if they even wanted to come. Therefore he asked them beforehand so that things didn't get awkward later on.

Apollo got back to his dorm. He open the door with his key and closed it, accidentally not doing it fully. He closed his room curtains in hopes of just playing music all night. He couldn't be bothered with anything right now. He sighed and picked up his guitar, tuning it until it was in standard. He played a song by a band his listened to when he was a kid. It was a sad song. It was called Wake Me Up When September Ends. He was sad and the song seemed to fit.

Fisher watched as the four of them went their separate ways. Mason was going with Lucifer to teach him a lesson and Crystal went off with Chen to the infirmary, leaving him alone with his hands on his sides. Max rubbed them together slightly and started to clean up the things that weren't fixable. He'd then put the fixable things next to each other and grabbed his phone to call up an engineer for the metal work and someone who specialises on the smaller objects. "Thanks Jim, I appreciate the help." "Don't worry about it, I owe you a favour anyway. We're even now." Jim replied, spending time on the broken machine.. It fucking hurt on the way down, but Fisher didn't show his pain. "I owe you one Riley." He'd say to the person fixing things like hurdles and other objects. "You bet you owe me." she'd say, as grumpy as ever. With those two doing work, he went back to gathering the things that could be saved.

In a few hours they were done. The gym looked as it was when they first walked in - well technically fell in - except for a few missing pieces that they weren't able to save. "I didn't think we'd be this quick. I thought it would take longer." Fisher looked at the two with Jim just about finished his own work. "Good as new." Jim would say, wiping his forehead with sweat beads hanging low. "Thanks guys. Call me on a favour whenever I'm teaching though." Max joked, stretching slightly before he headed for the door. "I'm leaving. Probably going to go and sit down somewhere and collect my thoughts."

A few minutes later he was sitting on the fighting field, the grass blowing as the white light emitted from his body. He was focused on his own meditation, even though he could do it naturally. Once he was done, he stood up and put his hands together. When he slowly drifted them apart, a flame grew in size, getting bigger the further his hands spread. Fishers eyes were closed and his breathing was calmer than most. Suddenly, Fisher stomped one foot forward and put his hands together to the side of him. His eyes opened, they were flaming like a wildfire and it showed the negative emotions floating around inside of him. "Breath of the Dragon King." Anger, Hate, Fear, Frustration. They all left his body, even for just a moment as a dragon breath-like fire left his hands when he pushed them forward, destroying the grass beneath him and any in it's path. The force field (The fighting arena force field) Strained as the power hit it's walls and continued to do so until Fisher stopped using it.

Moments later, the fire began to decrease in size. After it fully disappeared, Ash was left of the green grass it was hitting. The fire was long, wide and VERY destructive.

Rueben missed his first class. He was fully aware of this, but the bathroom was so nice and quiet. Leaving just didn't seem like an option. He wasn't an idiot though, contrary to his inner voice, and had chosen a bathroom relatively close to the classroom. He had some time to think and think he did. Could he really kill? It was bad right? Of course it's bad, you're a terrible person. You've killed before what's the difference? "The difference is that it was an accident, Dragon. Please just... not right now okay?" He said out loud. Only Dragon had the ability to speak telepathically in this relationship. Reuben, my dear boy, I can never get out and you know that. We're together, a team. Don't ruin this team like ruin everything else, Rueben. "You're right I guess. Just be quiet, please." Reuben was greeted by silence. With his head cleared for the moment, he decided to finally leave the bathroom. The classroom was empty. Where is everyone? Rueben thought. Class must have been dismissed. A little disheartened, he wandered through the halls, hoping maybe he could find his dorm. Wow skipping class and hopelessly lost? You must be quite the idiot Rube. "Don't call me that Dragon, my name is Reuben. It's the name my mother ga-" Reuben stopped. He knew where Dragon was taking this. Right but you killed your mother didn't you. What right do you have to go by the name she gave you? "Dragon that was you and you know it. Shut up just SHUT UP!" Rueben screamed. Silent tears were rolling down his face. Sad guitar music was playing. Wait what? Where is that coming from?

MoxxyMoxx MoxxyMoxx

Apollo was almost finished with playing the song when he struck a wrong chord. He snapped and threw his guitar to the corner of the room. He had tears streaming down his face. Why did the fox have to choose him? It could've chosen anyone but why him? He was the youngest and shortest in his family instantly making him the weakest (he barely towered over Wynter and he was short as it is), he was failing three classes at his old school, his jawline was slightly off if you looked hard enough, he was covered in random spots and his only strong talent was playing guitar and he'd been doing that since forever. There were next to no redeeming qualities about him to begin with. The fox bit him and it was a mistake. It was all a mistake. He was a mistake.

He curled up into a ball on his bed, sobbing, his tails covering most of him. He heard the wind blow his door open. He looked over to it before curling back into position. He wasn't gonna close it. He was too sad to move.

Reuben's sadness was suddenly replaced by curiosity. That song, it was Wake Me Up When September Ends. He used to listen to it before Dragon ruined it. He ruined most of the things Rueben liked. It's not me Rube, it's you. It's always you. Quit lying to yourself. Yes of course it was him. Who else could it be? Something went wrong as Rueben crept down the hall. A wrong cord, a crash, and then crying. Don't go in there Reuben. Seriously do not go in there. Dragon was suddenly very serious. "There's something wrong. I think I should check just in case." He announced, unsure. Reuben do not. That kid in there, he's kinda like you and me. Except he is waaaaay worse. I can sense it. You're gonna try and talk to him, screw it up like you always do, and then he's gonna snap and kill both of us. If you die, I die remember? He's got something inside him too. He was a little scared now, but this had to be one of Dragon's evil mind games. It had to be. Rueben didn't want to die.

At first the boy was confused at the sight before him: a bundle of tails crying on a bed. It was then that Rueben saw the hand. This person must just have tails. REUBEN I SWEAR TO GOD GET THE HELL AWAY. Dragon was clearly freaked out by this tail person. Reuben shook his head. He wouldn't let Dragon get to him. "Uhm... hello?"

Wynter had been looking for the cafeteria, and had somehow ended up outside (Ezra and Gene can come if they want.) He had somehow stumbled upon Mr. Fisher, who appeared to be meditating. He walked up to the teacher who's eyes were closed though he made sure he was quite silent on his feet, wondering if he'd be able to sneak up on him. It seemed very unlikely to Wynter, but after he had just fought and defeated two students he had to be at least a little tired. Wynter even opened up his wings, and stretched them out so that he could be even lighter on his feet.

He looked at the aura the teacher was emitting from his body, and knew that it was the same aura he had been talking about earlier in class, before the fight had happened. 'That's cool...' He thought, though he knew it must've been some pretty basic stuff for Mr. Fisher and all the other teachers that there were. He then wondered why the students had to kill their teacher. Had they committed some unforgivable crime and the best punishment for them was this? It seemed quite unlikely, but then again, he only knew Mr. Fisher, and even then he only knew his last name and that he would be teaching meditation classes. Besides that, he was as mysterious as the sea, or the universe, and there were still a lot more things Wynter thought he needed to know before he was ready to try to kill him.

He was snapped harshly back into reality when he saw something coming near him at quite an alarming rate. The teacher's eyes were now open, and he was standing up, telling Wynter that his time was up. He quickly jumped to the side, his wings giving him a little extra distance. However, his right wing wasn't as lucky as his left one. While Wynter himself had dodged the fire, or whatever that ball of flame was, the ends of his wing had gotten burned and it turned into a dark charcoal color, contradicting its usual pure white color. He cried out in pain, before looking at his wing. He knew that it would definitely take some time to heal, but it wasn't the worst that could've happened, he was lucky to even escape with his life if he was being honest.

Gene nodded and followed behind Wynter as the went exploring for something to eat. He smiled, keeping a long, relaxed stride as they walked. Somehow, they ended outside and he saw the pure white aura of the teacher. He watched Wynter open his wings. 'An angel, how did I not notice? I'm blind..' he shrugged off the thought, watching as Wynter paused, probably thinking. He waited patiently for Wynter to move again, so he could follow the lead.

However before they could, the teacher stood up and released a strong wave of pure fire. He reached for Wynter to get his attention, but tripped and ended up rolling safely away from the flames. He looked up, dizzy from hitting his head. He heard Wynter cry out in pain and instantly got up and sprinted to his friend. He noticed the char in the wing and was carefully to avoid touching it. "Wynter you alright?" He asked. Knowing the boy had it worse than him. Gene had a gash on his knee, and a few bruisings, but this boy wing had been burnt. And he knew that wings could be sensitive. His sister taught him that. He was worried for Wynter. u k i y o u k i y o Wake-N-Bake Wake-N-Bake

It wasn't hard to read the girls mind, even if she didn't have the power. 'We signed up knowing we would die, and that we would be attacked ' she had wanted to say, She kept silent though. "If you don't need anything then I can let you rest. Since nothing is broken or bleeding. You just need rest. " she said, then listened to what Chen said, frowning sadly, pure emotion on her face. She actually felt bad for the girl. She composed her face. "I'm sorry about your past. Nobody should face being motherless or parentless." She said, never meeting her parents herself. 'A siren thing' or tradition any way. "I can give you some pain medicine as I said if you need it. " she said, getting up and walking to the nurse desk. "If not you can leave, just no more using your powers if possible." She said.

Once Fisher saw the damage he had caused to the students, he rushed over as fast as his legs could carry him (Which was pretty fast.) "Dammit kids! What were you thinking standing in front of the flames?!" His voice was worried and slightly trembling. His calm demeanour was destroyed the instant he saw what had happened. Max obviously didn't mean to hit Wynter or almost hit Gene, in fact, he didn't even see them until it was too late. "We've got to get you two to the infirmary." Max would then take the two of them in each arm and extend one of his arms to grab the other boy. ( JayEmperor7 JayEmperor7 If Matthew followed them) It was almost an instant before they were all there. Max saw Crystal and asked her for assistance, almost collapsing himself from carrying three people across to the other side of the school. "I need your help. Long story short, I've injured two students. One of them badly - Or at least I think badly - Or - I don't know, just please help them.." Fisher helped the students to the beds, starting with the angel and then the one with the Gash.

Wynter clutched his right shoulder, before Gene came over. "Ah, I'm fine this is nothing. What about you? I smell blood." He said, looking for the source of it, feeling very at fault that he had pulled Gene into this and gotten him hurt. He then glanced over when the teacher came over, asking what they had been thinking about while standing in front of the flames. "Sorry Mr. Fisher, I totally wasn't paying attention." He said before the teacher said they had to get the two of them to the infirmary.

Was it really that bad? Wynter wasn't really feeling just how badly it hurt, as adrenaline was still coursing through his body, making it feel like a strong sting at the moment. He was then taken to the infirmary before he knew it, and placed on one of the beds. There he saw Chen, and assumed that the other woman was named Crystal, and she must've been the nurse or something of the sort. "Sorry about all the trouble." He said in an apologetic tone.

Chen heard Crystals voice and registered it. So...she cared if at least somewhat. She could use that. "Rest huh? I could really use that. I think I'll go get my stuff from the classroom then head to a dorm. Thank you for helping me recover. I won't use my powers again out of boredom." Chen said, climbing out of the bed and stretching. She was about to leave when she noticed Wynter being laid on one of the beds, with a scorched...Wing?! And he was apologizing again. Great. "Wynter! What happened to you? And you're back to saying sorry again!" Chen said looking annoyed. q r o w q r o w u k i y o u k i y o

Apollo jumped and scrambled to the corner. No one should be near him. No one should ever be near him. He's too dangerous. He should've locked the door tight when he had the chance. His ears flattened atop his head. He frowned once more. It was just another student. He was happy it wasn't a teacher. He sighed and stared at the wall. Tears were still streaming down his face. "Wh-What is it," he asked in a non-threatening voice, "I've already had a panic attack today and I don't want another from someone who could hurt me so..." He shrugged his shoulders and tugged on one of his tails to make sure Void will stay as dormant as possible. He had to stay as sane as possible here so this was absolutely necessary. He glanced over at his guitar. He had the want to get it and start playing again but he didn't want to move. He didn't really feel sad. He just felt. Empty.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you," Reuben said trying to be as calm as possible. "I have problems like this too. Or at least I used to. I'm kinda numb now..." Oh no Dragon was right! He was totally screwing this up. He had prove Dragon wrong. He stepped into the doorway ignoring the screams from inside his head. "My name is Reuben. You're gonna be okay." His mother would talk like this before it happened. Seeing the trembling boy glance at the guitar gave him some leeway. "Do you want this?" Reuben walked over and picked up the guitar. It had been thrown across the room but there didn't seem to be any damaged sustained other than a few scratches. Slowly he walked to the troubled soul. This panic attack seemed bad but Reuben had no idea what this kid had been through. "Here you go." Reuben slid the guitar across the floor, not wanting to get too close and scare the boy. He then sat down and waited fearing that Dragon had been right. Damn right I'm right. I say this a lot kid, but are a real idiot. There was poison in his voice but also something new. Something Reuben had never sensed in Dragon: Fear.
