Yeon Jun-Seok is a twenty-eight-year-old physiotherapist, returning back to work after the birth of his daughter, So-Min. This is the six-month-old's first time ever being away from her father, and Jun-Seok feels anxious about leaving her in the hands of strangers at a local daycare centre. And so, he's that parent who constantly rings to see if she's okay, labels everything, has a communication booklet in her bag which he wants to be filled out every day, asks for her jumper, socks and shoes remain on so she doesn't get sick and so on, so forth. He's that parent that when you see the child's name on the roll, you shudder at the thought of having to interact with him. However, within the first few weeks of attending the daycare, So-Min grows attached to a primary childcare educator within her room. So much so that Jun-Seok eventually begins to change his work schedule to match up with the educator's as So-Min screams at drop off when she's not there. Everyone thinks he's a complete snob and jerk (but adore So-Min and her adorable ways), and always bitch about him behind his back once he's dropped So-Min off. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] He had been counting down the minutes. He just wanted to pick up his baby daughter and spend the weekend with her. Yeon Jun-Seok was a man of professionalism. He loved his job and he loved how his research was helping those with chronic illnesses and helping to make the world a better place. But it was also the first week back at work since his daughter, So-Min, had entered the world. In fact,… it had been the first week back at work since his wife had died too. Now, for obvious reasons, he was very anxious about leaving So-Min’s side. For the last six months, she was by his side constantly. She ate, played, bathed and even slept with her Appa by her side. But when the hospital rang him up and announced to him that he would have to return to work, or they would have to give his position to someone else, he had to go back. Which was fair enough. However, if he gave up his position, he gave up his Visa. Which also meant he would have to move back to Korea with So-Min in which they were in no financial situation to do so. Therefore, he was stuck. He had to return regardless. Which meant So-Min had to start full-time day-care. Now, Jun wasn’t just going to let any idiot look after his precious daughter. He visited many home day-cares, met with many nannies, and had a stupid amount of orientations at different local day-care centres. But none of them stood out to him. None of them made him feel reassured that his daughter would be safe and happy. Maybe he was just trying to find the holes in the services, so he had a reason not to return to work. But you know… money. So… He had to go. Eventually, he found a place that he was happy with. Paisley Parks Early Learning Centre. He had been impressed by the fact that they had chickens and a vegetable garden which the children were encouraged to help with its growth. I mean, he was a farm boy at heart. Anything that connected to his past made him happy. So-Min seemed to… somewhat enjoy her time there, I suppose. Drop-offs were always hard. So-Min would scream when he left and he felt like his heart was ripping into two. Practically every day this week he had handed her over to the arms of an educator, only to pull her back for another cuddle as he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving her while she was screaming and crying. And every morning, it was the same routine. The same educator telling him that she’d give her a cuddle and that he was welcome to call as much as he wanted throughout the day. They also reminded him of the app on his phone in which he could receive images and information about So-Min’s day like how much she ate, how long she slept and her nappy changes. He called maybe… three or four times a day. Because, you know, that wasn’t excessive at all, was it? He just wanted to make sure that she was happy and safe. But… he still wasn’t completely sold on the place. He saw the way she screamed and cried every morning. And it broke his heart every time. Which was why he decided to change his shifts for the time being which meant he dropped her off at eight-thirty in the morning – just in time for morning tea - and picked her up just after afternoon tea at two-thirty. So, it was only a short day and he hoped his pride and joy didn’t miss him too much. Jun climbed out of his car, locking in the process, before making his way towards the front door. He caught his reflection, noting to himself that he was going to have to do some shopping over the weekend for more work clothes as he spotted a slight drool mark on his sleeve. Oh man, had he gone the whole day with it there? He had to wear button-up shirt attire for the hospital and he found that having a baby meant that she liked to drool on his shoulders whilst he held her. Releasing a sigh, he walked up to the locked door and pressed in the code in which he had been taught on his first day of dropping off So-Min. He nodded a hello to the centre director in her office, praying that she wasn’t going to come out and talk to him because Lord knows he had no idea what she was saying half the time due to her strong Irish accent. And then finally, he reached the Nursery room. He looked through the window looking into the room and began to gaze around to see if So-Min was in view. And there she was. Having tummy time with a couple of sensory bottles in front of her, with a giant smile on her face. Okay… she seemed okay today… And the pictures and videos he was sent today… they were cute. Slowly, he dragged his eyes away from the window and make his way towards the door. As he entered the room, he quietly made his way over to where the bags were kept, his eyes travelling to try and find So-Min’s bag. They must’ve moved it since this morning because… well… it wasn’t where he left it. Well, great. Just fabulous. --- constellation constellation [/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]thank god for the weekend[/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]nursery room[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]click[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ ava beeson[/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]The week had passed rather fast for Ava, though that was no surprise to her. Spending her weekdays at the day-care centre, despite how stressful, was a joy for her. With her school assignments on the side, some days were harder than the other but luckily, this week seemed to be going surprisingly good. She counted six days since one of the little munchkins she looked after threw up all over her front, reminding her once again that it was a blessing having a spare set of clothing at the day-care centre. When she first started, she didn’t realise just how messy of a job it would be, though a little baby vomit didn’t scare her off and frankly the more she spent time with babies, the more she enjoyed it and learned. They had a new addition at Paisley Park, a sweet six month old baby known as So-Min, the first Korean baby to join them and one of the youngest. Though Ava had not met her father, the woman had heard plenty about him from the others, enough to know that Yeon Jun-Seok was an incredibly peculiar man. Trish simply described the man as “stush and rude”, but Ava originally thought that the blonde was exaggerating, until the others agreed with her, though Ava couldn’t say anything herself as she was working late shifts that week and wouldn’t be meeting him until she was on morning shifts. It didn’t help that every time she’d go off to have her lunch breaks, she’s come back and So-Min was already gone before she could even say bye. He couldn’t be that bad though, right? He seemed like any other protective parent, and it had only been a full week since So-Min started day-care. Ava did her best to keep the man updated – posting pictures and videos every time So-Min was fed, when she slept or played, hoping that if he saw that she was happy and in good care, then it would give him some peace. The last thing any of them needed was an upset or frustrated parent. She figured Jun-Seok already had his doubts about the place with his constant calling, and from what she’d heard was that he wasn’t very fond of the staff with his “pretentious attitude” and because of that, the girls ranked So-Min rather low based on the cutest baby in the nursery room. Harsh, but Ava couldn’t agree – she thought So-Min was incredibly adorable, and it was unfair that she was being punished because the girls thought her father was a complete ass. Ava finished her lunch earlier than usual today when she’d been requested by Irene to use her baby magic to put one of the babies to sleep. Oliver had just turned eleven months recently, and he was a slow-learner compared to the rest, he still had yet to take his first few steps, though was able to crawl around the nursery on his little chubby hands and knees. Although he was a generally happy baby when it came to playing and eating, Oli could only ever fall asleep when Ava was around and if they were lucky, he’d find himself eventually dosing off to a lullaby. But today was not one of those days. So, here she was, cradling a sleeping Oli in her arms and rocking him gently side to side, a pacifier in his mouth to help the uncomfortable pain of teething. Though just at this very moment, something – or someone, caught Ava’s attention as the discrete man made his way over to where they kept the baby bags. Ava had never seen this man before, but assumed he was a parent of one of the little ones as he looked around the place, searching for what she guessed was his baby’s bag. Strange man, she thought. Glancing down at the peaceful little boy, Ava finally decided it was time put him down in his crib but before she could go and do just that, Irene found herself making her way over. Her arms were crossed, and she didn’t look too happy. “I really don’t mean to be a bother, but can you go and deal with that man?” Her voice came out in a whisper, to not disturb Oli, a pleading look plastered on her face. Ava was a little surprised, simply because Irene loved dealing with the parents, especially the father’s, but she didn’t mind doing it. Maybe Irene didn’t think he was her cup of tea, or simply yet, he could be married. Who was she kidding? Married or not – Irene did not care. Simply nodding her head, Ava successfully handed over the little boy to Irene without waking him up. ”Yeah, sure. It’s no problem,” she gave the elder woman a smile once more, before Irene walked off, after thanking Ava, of course. And with that, Ava began making her way over to the man, giving the babies in the room one more look, just in case. She brought her attention back to Jun-Seok, a simple smile on her face. ”Hi there, I don’t think we’ve met before – I’m Ava.” He seemed like the type of man that shook hands, she thought, as she brought out her right hand to politely shake his. It was important for her to give the parent's a good impression of the staff. ”Are you here to pick one of the kids up?”[/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]cool, calm + collected[/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]nursery room[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]work outfit[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] His dark eyes continued to travel across the hooks, in search for So-Min’s nappy bag. Jun could start to feel the anxiety beginning to build up in his chest as thoughts of the bag being lost or broken or someone else taking it home flooded in his mind. Surely, if someone took it home with them by accident they would’ve brought it straight back. Every little thing in the damn bag had been properly labelled with So-Min’s name on it. Her clothes, bottles, nappies, wipes, creams – everything in there had a durable sticker with the name “So-Min Yeon” attached to it. No one would be that dull and stupid to take it home and think it was theirs. Unless… they had intentionally gone out of their way to steal it. Well, that just sent Jun another wave of anxiety. Not because it meant that he would have to go and get a new one. But rather the emotions and memories attached to the said bag. He could remember the day he and So-Jin went out looking for baby items. They went to Baby Bunting and So-Jin gushed over all the little clothes and the items that they needed for their bundle of joy. Jun just pondered along behind, completely out of his element and beginning to realise just how expensive it was to actually have a baby. They approached the nappy bag section and So-Jin found the one she adored. She began to sell it to Jun about how it was designed to look like a backpack, but it had a cooling system in it for bottles and how the side pockets were designed for baby wipes. And then he saw the price tag on it. Well, he had half a mind to drag them out of there and simply go to Kmart to buy a $20 backpack. But the look she gave him – that damn cute, aegyo pout… and she began to call him Oppa. Dammit, she knew how to make him melt like butter. He finally gave up and told her to get whatever her heart desired because, to be completely honest, he would do anything just to see that beautiful smile of hers. Jun was brought back to reality as he heard a voice that seemed to be directed at him. He turned and saw an educator before him. Well, he had never seen her before. Maybe on the educator board, but not in person. As she brought her hand out, Jun automatically brought his own hand out and shook hers with a small head bow in process and his other hand touching his elbow. You could take the boy out of Korea, but not Korea out of the boy. “Jun-Seok” he simply said to introduce himself. However, as he dropped his hands by his side and heard her next question, he had to just… well, he looked at her like she was a complete idiot. From his understanding and what he saw from the daily pictures, So-Min was their only Asian baby in the service. And so, a small frown came to his face and his mouth slightly hung as he looked at this female before him as if she had lost too many brain cells from being around babies all day. “I’m… here to pick up the only Asian child you have…” he said slowly, gesturing his hand towards So-Min who was on the carpeted area doing her tummy time. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the said faux leather nappy bag which he had been on the search for. He turned and stretched out to grab it – automatically opening it up to see if everything was inside. Well, no. Not everything was inside. “Bottles?” he asked, lazily gazing up from the bag to Ava with a slightly unimpressed complexion. “And hat?Geeze. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ ava beeson[/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]For a moment, Ava felt like the biggest idiot on the planet. Of course, they only had one Asian baby in the room, but she couldn’t have just jumped to the conclusion and assumed that So-Min was his daughter. Otherwise, he probably would have given her hell for thinking that there was no chance an Asian man could have conceived with a woman of different colour and race. Honestly, she wanted to face palm herself right then and there – Jun-seok made her feel so stupid. And the only thing she could do about it was let out a small embarrassed laugh as she gave So-Min one small glance once the man gestured towards her. So, he was her father. How could a precious little thing come out of a man like this? Just as the woman opened her mouth to speak, probably to apologise, he beat her to it and began demanding where his baby’s items were. Ava stood there, a little dumbfounded, because this man was like no father she’d met before and she suddenly found it really hard to act civil with him. The unimpressed look on his face made her want to go off at the man and teach him a small lesson about manners, but no, Ava remained silent and could only stick to being professional. She was definitely going to go off at Irene for letting her handle this jerk face; she knew exactly why now the others weren’t fond of the man. But suck it up Ava, he’s a customer, put your nice face on and get it done and over with. So, she forced a smile on her face, and nodded her head. ”Of course,” she began, ”I’ll grab her things right away.” The moment she turned around to walk off, her smile dropped and she honestly could not help rolling her eyes. That was a first. Ava was usually so good with parents, just like any of them, they were practically trained professionals for this kind of situation but Jun-Seok was just making things awfully terrible. It’s like he didn’t believe that they could do their job. Ava hurried to grab the little girl’s baby bottles from their heavy duty dishwasher, double checking that they were actually clean, because she was sure that Jun-Seok would flip at the littlest dirt on them. But yet again, why would she even doubt a dishwasher from doing its job? That thought made her chortle, because she could totally relate right now. No time for giggles Ava, impatient man awaiting. She didn’t want to make Jun-Seok wait any longer than he had to – he’d probably throw her a comment on how slow she was being. Ava made her way back to Jun-Seok, and along the way, she grabbed So-Min’s little woolly hat. So cute. ”Okay. Bottles, hat.” Check, check. She handed the man So-Min’s belongings, almost as though she was in a hurry, but really she just didn’t want to disappoint. ”I’ll grab So-Min now!” Ava quickly added, almost not giving the man a chance to react before she once again, turned around and trotted over to the little baby. So-Min looked like she was having a great time with the sensory bottles, cooing away, and for a moment Ava didn’t want to take her away from them, but she could just see Jun-Seok’s annoyed glare in her mind, and God, it was mortifying. ”Hi there, little angel.” Ava spoke gently as she kneeled down to the floor, and seeing So-Min waving her arms smoothly and smiling at her familiar voice made her instantly forget about Jun-Seok, and let’s not forget, her heart melted at the bundle of cuteness. ”Daddy’s here, it’s time to get you home.” With that, she gently began to lift So-Min off the floor, placing her on her hip – one arm supporting her bottom and her free hand supporting her head, just in case. Ava headed back to Jun-Seok, a smile still plastered on her face. No impatient, rude AND annoying man can kill her mood now.[/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]shoot me in the brains already[/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]nursery room[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]work outfit[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] As Ava walked off to get the said items, Jun continued to search through the bag to ensure that everything was in there. Was it so wrong that he was so particular? That he wanted everything to be absolutely perfect for his daughter so she wouldn’t get sick or that they wouldn’t lose items in which he had spent his hard-earned cash on? From what he could see, there was nothing missing from the bag. So-Min didn’t have a dummy or a comforter. She didn’t have a sleeping bag either. The only things he needed to collect were her bottles and hats. A quick glance over to his daughter made him see that she already had her socks on and the clothes which she wore this morning when he dropped her off. That’s good – she wasn’t cold today. Nothing of hers was missing. Hearing Ava’s voice, Jun turned to see the female approaching with the said bottles and hat in her hand, announcing that she had them. He took them off her hands and began to place them into the nappy bag as Ava informed him that she was going to go and get So-Min for him. He nodded to her, not even taking the time of day to thank her. I mean, this was her job. You'd think he was regularly thanked at the hospital for doing his job? Of course, he wasn’t. He was getting paid to help people through their rehabilitation. All he got was a ‘hello’, ‘I need more pain medications’ and a ‘goodbye’ if he was lucky. Jun placed the items into the bag and zipped it up before beginning to sling it over his shoulders to carry it. He paused, however, for a moment as he heard Ava’s voice. Calling So-min an angel. With a curious gaze, Jun’s dark eyes travelled over to where So-Min was lying on the floor and he could… he could see the smile on So-Min’s face. The little baby cooing as she excitedly exchanged glances with the educator before her. That… that wasn’t like drop-offs. At the drop-offs, So-Min saw one educator and she was screaming like someone was trying to kill her. So, of course, Jun couldn’t help but watch in slight awe as the educator before she picked up his daughter and carried her over to him. The way she was carrying her with such care… The way So-Min wasn’t screaming in her arms…. Well, that was different. “So-Min-ah. Appa is here” he said to the baby in Korean, placing his hand lightly on the child’s back. So-Min turned to look at him, giving him a cheeky smile and coo before she buried her head back into the nook of Ava’s neck. Well, this was a turn of events. Jun curiously gazed between the baby and Ava, and back again to So-Min. What did they do to her to make her act this way? Why was she getting all cuddly with this educator? Jun narrowed his eyes slightly as thoughts and theories began to run through his head. They… they didn’t drug her up or something, did they? Because this was not the same baby he had dropped off this morning. “So-Min-ah,” he tried again, putting his hands up to indicate for the baby to put her own arms out so he could catch onto her. “Appa is here. Time to go home for dinner and a bath with Appa.” And yet, the baby wouldn’t budge. What the frick was going on. Jun gazed back up at Ava with a defeated look upon his face. “I think I’m going to have to grab her from you…” he said, pressing his lips together in dismay. He knew what this meant. So-Min was probably going to scream the house down. It was like role reversal. Instead of her screaming at drop-offs, she was going to scream at pick up. Man, he just couldn’t win, could he? [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ ava beeson[/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]As Ava reached the waiting Jun-Seok with little So-Min in her arms, she watched between the two as what she assumed was him attempting to call her towards him in Korean, though the more he tried, the more she became adamant on staying put. Ava couldn’t help but feel just slightly chuffed when the baby didn’t respond to her father’s requests, but she kept it from showing on her face. Her heart melted at how cute So-Min was acting, burying her small head into her own neck and cooing away, and Ava couldn’t hide the smile on her face because when a baby chose you over somebody else, it felt amazing. If she could keep the baby for longer, then she totally would. The look on Jun-Seok’s face when he realised that he’d have to forcefully take So-Min away from Ava made her feel bad for the man – first, he just got rejected from his own daughter and second, Ava knew that So-Min wasn’t going to like what was coming for her with the way that she was acting right now – she seemed comfy and happy with Ava. She was definitely a stubborn one from what Ava had learned spending a couple hours every day with her, but her cuteness made up for it and she managed to deal with it. Maybe that was why So-Min was slowly taking a liking towards her and it seemed like Jun-Seok was surprised that she was. ”It’s time to go to daddy now, So-Minnie.” With that, Ava aided the man when he began to take So-Min from her arms, and the moment the baby girl realised what was going on, her cheeky smile dropped instantly and this was no longer a funny game for her. Lip trembling, eyes watering and her brows furrowing, all hell broke loose. She began to cry and scream her lungs off, her arms flailing in the air frantically when she was taken away from Ava’s arms. For a moment, Ava just wanted to take So-Min back into her arms and rock her sadness away, but she knew she couldn’t with her father ready to take her home and she simply couldn’t bring it in herself to taunt the man for being such a jerk before, because now he had to deal with a crying baby. This was a first for both of them because Ava was usually on her lunch break when So-Min went home. Ava wanted to do as much she could to help, and she tried to soothe upset So-Min before she left by rubbing her little back as she continued to cry into her father’s shoulder, snot forming at her baby nose. She was still somehow cute even while crying. ”Ahh there, there, it’s okay. Daddy is with you now,” Ava murmured softly to the little baby in attempt to soothe her whilst ignoring Jun-Seok’s face at the same time. He’s probably going to blame her for making So-Min cry now. Who knows? [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] Jun was completely dumbfounded. Never had ever witnessed his daughter act in this way. The only time she ever pined for another was… well, with him. She was acting the way she would normally act when he left her in the morning. So, why was she now all the sudden so upset to come home with him? Every other day she’d throw herself at him practically, eager to get home. But as he took hold of her tiny body and held her close to him, she wasn’t having a bar of it today. She shoved her head into the nook of his neck, kicking and crying. Oh man, he could already feel the dampness of boogies and tears on his work shirt already. As Ava attempted to soothe So-Min by rubbing her back and murmuring to her softly, Jun gazed at the female, watching her closely as she interacted with his daughter. What made her so special that So-Min acted this way? What was this feeling that he was feeling in his core? Was it… jealousy? Well, considering he had just spent the last 6 months with only his daughter, not even attempting to make friends or to join any mothers groups, So-Min had been his life. She was with him twenty-four-seven. And now for someone else to come and all the sudden… So-Min loves her so much that she cries at pick up? It puzzled Jun. And the stubbornness in him (which he also knew So-Min had his stubborn trait) wanted So-Min to only want him. To only cry for him. It baffled him to see So-Min act this way, especially as she then began to lean over towards Ava once more. Jun’s eyes widened as he planted his hand on So-Min’s back to pull her reach away from Ava. “So-Min-Ah. It’s home time now. Time to come home with Appa for dinner. We need to goodbye” he said to her in Korean. His voice sounded stern and he didn’t even think twice how it might’ve sounded to someone who didn’t speak Korean. His sentence caused So-Min to cry even louder if that was possible and arch her back as she attempted to escape from her father’s grasps. Jun’s eyes widened with shock at his daughter’s behaviour. Well, now, this was a first. He could feel his face burning from embarrassment. Really So-Min, he thought to himself, are you going to end up being one of these stubborn babies that always get what they want? He frowned at the thought, shifting his daughter in his arms so she wasn’t arching her back anymore. Planting a hand on the back of her head so she could continue her crying in the crook of his neck once more, he gazed over at Ava and gave her a small head bow. “Thank you. I’ll see you next week” he murmured to her before turning his heels and making his way out of the room. All the while So-Min continuing to scream. “So-Min-ah,” he continued to murmur to her softly with authority in his voice. “No more now. Come on. We will be back next week. You can play with your teacher then” He reached for the door handle and exited the room, not without a glance over to Ava. It was hurting his heart to see So-Min cry. When she was a newborn, he spent many nights feeling like he was going to have a mental break down. She always cried and he never seemed to have any idea to what she was crying about. He was thankful that when he had to fly over to Korea for his wife’s funeral that his parents had been extremely helpful. So-Jin’s mother died when she was five, and her father passed away when she was twenty. Therefore, Jun only had his parents to fall back on when it came to So-Min. They taught him how to care for a baby by himself properly and even brought an abundance of clothing for her. To be honest, he’d be completely lost without them. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]The young blonde female made her way down the corridor, heading towards the Nursery room. The nineteen-year-old had a joyful step to her walk as she knew that she’d be able to go into the room and spend time talking to Ava – wait, sorry. Working with Ava. Bec had been pulled into the office a couple of times over the last few months for being too chummy in the rooms and just hanging out instead of working. She had a sneaky suspicion that Trish the bitch had been the one to snoop in and tell their boss. I mean, she worked when she was with Ava. Granted, they talked. But Ava always made sure that they stayed on track with their responsibilities. She was great like that. In fact, Ava was probably only one out of all these bitches that worked here – and that included Ryan who seemed to be the biggest bitch out of them all sometimes. As she approached the Nursery room door, Bec noticed a familiar male exiting the room with a child that looked like she needed an exorcism as she screamed and wailed in his arms. She could see as the child lifted her head and allowed the booger trail from his shoulder to her nose continue to drip. Oh my god, she was going to be sick. This was why she worked in the Pre School room, not the Nursery room full time. At least in the Pre School room, the children were able to wipe their own noses and assholes. Wiping noses and changing nappies all day? Haha, no thank you. As the baby continued to scream, she could tell that her father was having a hard time holding onto her. Oh – the front door! Quickly, Bec walked over to the front door and pushed it open for him. The father made his way over, giving her subtle head bow before walking through the doorway and into the carpark. Without even a thank you. “Fucking asshole,” she muttered to herself, allowing the door to slowly self-close. “At least a thank you would’ve been nice.” She continued to grumble before making her way back towards the Nursery door. Man, that dad had left her feeling sour. Even the look on his face. She wanted to smack it right off of him and tell him to freaking smile. Rolling her eyes at the thought of the older male, she opened up the door and made her way in. “Your favourite educator is back for business babies!” she called out as she entered, closing the door behind her. She then gazed over at Irene, who had been on the morning shift today. “Irene, I’m covering you to go home now!” she smiled widely, making her way over to Ashton, one of the babies who had taken a liking to her and had his arms stretched out for a cuddle. Lifting up the boy, she threw him up in the air before swinging him between her legs. The little boy cooed and giggled before she held him on her hip and looked over at Ava. “I tell you what. Someone needs to tell that jerk to learn some manners.” She grumbled to her work-place friend. “I opened up the door for him while his child was screaming like a banshee and he barely even acknowledge me. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ ava beeson[/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]Ava had to admit that she was a little surprised with the way that So-Min was acting. Yes, she may have not been the first baby to cry during pick-up with any of the educators, but it was definitely the first time So-Min reacted this way when it came to leaving Ava. That meant she must have taken a very big liking to her, which was a good thing but not for Jun-Seok. For some reason, he didn’t appreciate that So-Min enjoyed being with Ava and it was obvious with the way he stared at the woman and hugged the little baby to himself – almost like he wanted to keep her to himself only. Ava couldn’t do much about it, really, but respect it. She was his baby daughter after all, so being protective over her was normal but it’s not like she going to kidnap the baby. Before Ava could bid the man and baby goodbye, Jun-Seok was already making his way towards the exit of the nursery room, without one look at her. ”Bye then…” the woman quietly mumbled under her voice, shrugging her shoulders slightly. What a strange man. It seemed like there was more to the situation than Ava thought when Jun-Seok suddenly turned all sensitive on her. She worried a little for So-Min, wondering if the baby was being looked after properly. If Ava was being honest, Jun-Seok didn’t seem like he was a people’s person considering how he treated her and frankly, she wasn’t sure whether he looked and cared after So-Min properly when he was speaking to her in a completely different language. Though Ava didn’t want to overlook anything, and figured that overtime, maybe Jun-Seok would eventually warm up to them. Her thoughts were soon interrupted when an enthusiastic Bec walked into the room, making an entrance, as per usual. ”Hey Bec,” With that, Ava brought her focus back on making sure that everything was safe and sound in the nursery room by tidying up some of the toys that So-Min had previously been playing with. Whilst doing that, Ava also wished goodbye to Irene before she finished her shift and left the building. When Bec began to rant on about Jun-Seok, Ava couldn’t help but let out a small laugh at her fierce attitude. ”That is the jerk dad, yes.” She responded, glancing over at the young blonde. Ava wasn’t usually one to gossip about the parents, but when the others did it, she couldn’t help but get involved. Especially when it was one of the main topics they spoke about and Jun-Seok really got on her nerves. ”Poor So-Min. She was crying because she didn’t want to leave and her dad got really sensitive about it. It’s like he doesn’t trust us to look after his baby.” A small sigh escaped her lips when she finished her sentence. Here she was again, worrying about them. Ava was all for making sure that the parent was satisfied with the care they provided their child at Paisley, but Jun-Seok was just on another level. Maybe she was just being incredibly nosy and overthinking the situation. Finishing tidying up the toys, Ava finally decided on changing the topic as she pulled her full attention towards Bec. ”So, are you still up for coming over this weekend for that study session?” She asked her.[/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]what a loooong day, thank u jun-seok[/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]nursery room[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]work outfit[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] Oh, a bitch session. This was what she craved for. Not a bitch session about people they worked with, but about the parents. They were always golden. And yes, there was a huge difference between bitching about parents and about staff because when you bitch about staff, everyone talks about it and it lands you in the office with a written warning. At least when you bitch about parents, the only bad thing that could happen is they will pull their kid out the service. Which, half of the time, is a great thing because either the parent is a bitch or the kid is being a little shit. Either way, it was a win-win situation. This time, they were discussing Jun. The parent. The bitch. Bec frowned as Ava expressed her concern over the daughter and father combo. “To be honest, I don’t blame her for crying. That guy looks like he has his head so far up his asshole that he could probably see the empty space that his heart is meant to be.” She grumbled, swaying the baby in her arms side to side, causing him to coo. Oh, she wanted to complain more about Jun. What else was there to complain about? Well, just before was the first interaction she had had with him since So-Min had started, so she couldn’t speak from experience. But the other staff members talked about how demanding he was and a complete perfectionist. Yeah. Let’s put down all the perfectionists of this world! The blonde girl went to open her mouth to continue complaining when Ava decided to change the conversation. Ah, what a bummer. It’s okay. Shake it off. We’ll get back to complaining about him sooner or later. The anger will bubble in Ava and she’ll burst it out, she thought to herself with a devilish smirk. “Yeah, I’m really keen. Meeting at yours around like… lunchtime? I’ll pick up Maccas on the way so text me your order tomorrow morning. It’s my payment to you for helping me with these stupid questions I have left in my book” she smiled widely, wagging her brows at the mention of doing a sneaky trip to McDonald's for lunch. Once again, she was going to speak – and then she was rudely interrupted again. People just didn’t want her to speak today, did they? This time, it was the room’s phone that stopped her from speaking. Quickly, she made her way over to the phone to see it was the office trying to intercom them. She picked up the phone with a “Hello, it’s Bec” before a frown fell onto her face. And her face gradually became sourer as their boss spoke to her. After a few moments of being spoken to, Bec finally responded with a grave “Okay…” before hanging up the phone and looking at Ava with disgust on her face. “Your father of the year hasn’t been singing So-Min in or out this whole week. Aoife just chewed my ear off about it.” She rolled her eyes before placing Ashton down and making her way over to the room’s iPad. “I swear to God… if I get in trouble again for another freaking parent not signing their kid in, I might bang my head against the wall” she muttered to herself as she opened up the Xplor app and searched for So-Min’s name. Once she tapped on her profile, a picture of the girl appeared – oh, Jun-Seok must’ve added it on there. Bec knew that parents could set the child’s profile picture to whatever they wanted and well, it was such an adorable picture. “Aww… So-Min is so cute… Pity about her father… But have you seen the picture used for her profile picture on Xplor? Damn… Her mum has some style. I wonder what woman would be crazy enough to sleep with a man like thatShe pulled yet another sour face as she scrolled down the page and then froze. “Oh… There’s… There’s only one contact on here…” Bec turned to Ava with a confused complexion, walking over to the other female and held out the iPad so she could see what she was talking about. “Jun-Seok… That’s her dad, right? Well, he’s the only contact… So… Does that mean…” Bec gasped loudly as her eyes went wide “So-Min’s parents are separated? Oh, I can see why though. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ ava beeson[/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox]Ava couldn’t help but let out a laugh when Bec began to bitch about Jun-Seok. Once that girl started, she never stopped. If anything, she was one of those that enjoyed gossiping about the parents and Ava wasn’t going to be the one to stop her, so instead, she just listened like she always did. Ava was never really the type to participate in those conversations whenever they had them and luckily enough, Bec wasn’t too bothered when Ava decided to change the topic to their weekend study session. But she knew without a doubt it wouldn’t be long before Bec was going on about Jun-Seok again. ”Lunchtime is fine and Maccas sounds so great right now,” Ava responded, followed with a laugh as she nodded at the younger girl. There was no way Ava could decline free food, especially if it was a Maccas. Thinking of those chicken nuggets had her mouth drooling and her stomach excited for tomorrow. God, she had to go on a diet soon otherwise she was going to end up an Oompa Loompa hanging around Bec. Just then, the nursery room’s phone began to ring and it was like Bec read her mind because Ava really couldn’t be bothered dealing with whoever was on the other line after her small experience with Jun-Seok and Bec sure lived for drama. But when she saw the frown fall onto her face, it made Ava raise her brow questionably. And of course, Jun-Seok’s wrath was coming to bite Bec back in the ass after she had bitched about the man. Give it to him to not be doing the most important and simplest thing; signing So-Min out. Unless he didn’t understand how to use the app itself? ”Of course it would be Jun-Seok.” Ava muttered under her breath, her tone full of irritation as she shook her head. That man was only here to cause the girls a huge headache and he was doing a successful job at it. Poor So-Min… Ava couldn’t help but imagine how strict and annoying of a father he must be, especially when So-Min would hit her teenage years. A moody teenager and moody father? Not a great combination. As Bec grabbed the iPad and opened up the Xplor app, Ava stopped what she was doing to watch the woman. She wasn’t kidding when she pointed out how cute So-Min was, and her heart melted again thinking about the little interaction they had when Jun-Seok came to pick her up. ”You never know, maybe the wife made him go crazy,” Ava added with a small grin, shrugging her shoulders. Ava mirrored Bec’s confusion when she’d heard that there was only one contact and she took the iPad to double-check herself. And she was completely right. Jun-Seok’s number was the only contact number there. Honestly, Ava didn’t want to jump to any conclusions because there were so many possibilities but when Bec mentioned So-Min’s parents being separated, she let herself accept that that was the truth and nodded her head. ”Poor So-Min, that young girl doesn’t even know what she’s in for.” She sighed, handing the iPad back over to Bec. ”If they did separate, then Jun-Seok must be going through a hard time himself. I mean, having to look after a baby isn’t easy and he looks like a huge stress head.”[/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]lol poor jun-seok, single daddy[/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]nursery room[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]work outfit[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] “Okay, but what if – now hear me out on this. What if… instead of making him go crazy, he made his wife go crazy?” Bec asked with a wide grin on her face, playing with the protective case that enveloped the iPad (because we all know what children are like when they see an iPad. They weren’t about to go ahead and replace twenty iPad screens because the children keep on stealing them and dropping them, were they?). “Like… she’s in a mental hospital. Or what if! He cheated on her! And she left him? What if! So-Min isn’t actually his?! What if his wife cheated on him because he was a complete and utter dickhead and she went through this pregnancy, telling it that the baby was his before – poof! One day after the baby was born, she just up and left with this other guy with a letter stating that she never loved him and was just dumping the baby on him” Oh damn, Bec watched too many Australian soap opera shows, didn’t she? The younger female’s eyes widened and her mouth hung as a thought popped into her head. “Ava! But, wait – this is only emergency contacts. What if – what if! What if So-Min’s mum comes to pick her up one day? She’s not on the contact lists. Surely, we can’t say no to So-Min going home with her.” She frowned before looking back at the iPad. “Hold up. I need to check the policy and procedures.” With a few quick swipes of the iPad, she opened up the policy handbook that was downloaded onto the screen. “Okay, so! If her mum pops up and demands to take So-Min, we have to give the dad a call. If he gives us permission, then she can take her. But if he says no, then we can’t. If Mum keeps going off and demanding that she wants to take the baby, we have to call the police. If she then gets violent before the police arrive, we just have to let her take So-Min and let the police know.” She released a heavy sigh, gazing up at Ava with a frown. “Would it be so mean for us to let So-Min go with her birth mother? I mean… Her dad… he’s a little bitch. I can’t remember the last time I met anyone so rude.” She grumbled, making her way back over to the charging dock and placing the iPad back on charge. “Life would be so much more nicer for So-Min if she got away from that asshat of a father. Okay. I’m bringing that up at the next staff meeting. Always give So-Min to anyone that isn’t Jun-Seok, because we all know she’s going to have a better life without that ass.” Woah, she was on a rant today. Bec released a heavy sigh before placing one hand on her hip and the other on her forehead. “This guy… he’s really got into my head, Av. Do you hear my ranting? And I only had to see him for what – thirty seconds? It must’ve been so hard trying to talk to him today. I really do admire you for your patience. [div class=tag]outfit.[/div] work uniform → simple faded jeans with cute blouse and socks. [div class=tag]interaction.[/div] bec → nobody.[/div][/div] [div class=textbox][div class=insidetextbox]The moment that Bec began to rant on about Jun, Ava took that as a hint for her to be quiet and let the blonde unleash the steam she’d been holding in all day. After all, she was only nineteen years old, baring a stressful job and still had yet to live her life, having fun instead of worrying about jerk parents such as Jun-Seok himself. So, if it meant that bitching about the parents would make things more enjoyable for her, then so be it. ”You really have a lot going on in that head of yours, Bec.” Ava spoke, letting out a laugh as Bec proceeded to run through every possible scenario, even so far as to bring up the police. Definitely too many dramas. On that note, Ava genuinely hoped that it wouldn’t escalate that much – she had to admit Jun-Seok wasn’t as terrible as Bec was making him out to be. Sure, he was an absolute asshole but Ava couldn’t jump to the conclusion and assume that he wasn’t living a tough life. Especially now that she’d learned there may or may not be a mother in the picture. The last thing that Ava wanted to do was to break up what might be a rather healthy family and force So-Min into foster care. She’d been there and it was not pleasant. Once the young girl had finally ended her rant, Ava put down whatever it was that she was doing to walk over to her and simply placed her hands on Bec’s shoulders. ”Listen, young one,” Ava began, despite being only five years older than her. ”When you’ve been doing this job, dealing with parents for quite some time, you will learn to be patient.” With that, she gave her shoulders a slight squeeze before letting her go. ”Just take a deep breath, try not to think of Jun-Seok’s annoying face and instead, think of the yummy Maccas we’ll be eating tomorrow.” The rest of Ava’s shift thankfully went by much more peaceful than the few minutes she had spent talking with Jun-Seok and having her head chopped off by him. After the ‘little’ rant fest she had with Bec, which was the last that Ava had heard about him, Jun-Seok had completely slipped her mind and was pushed into the back of her mind where she would not have to worry about him until necessary. And she prayed that would be never, though for some reason – she had her doubts. Friday was long gone, and the weekend had come. Ava had awoken early in the morning to run some errands, or in other words, gave her apartment a little tidy and washed dirty laundry, before her study session with Bec. Just as the blonde had instructed, Ava had texted her what she wanted from Maccas a couple of hours early; a box of 6 Chicken McNuggets and a Mango and Pineapple Iced Fruit Smoothie. She just couldn’t resist those bad boys, but she also internally told herself that she really had to sign up to gym classes again. The last thing she wanted was to gain weight – especially after that one time Ryan pointed out that it seemed like she was packing on a little chub. That night didn’t end well for either of them. Sat in the single-seater on the small balcony of her apartment as she waited for Bec to arrive, Ava luckily had a good view of the entrance of her complex building, so she could see who would be coming in and out.[/div][/div][/div][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon so-min [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] Appa had been crying again. Well, at least I think he had been. I know I’ve been crying my head off for the last hour because my bottom has been so sore! I don’t know what has happened! But every time I try and poo, or when I sit down, it really hurts! Appa seems to get really upset when I start to cry but he’s lovely. He picks me up straight away and gives me cuddles to comfort me. He cooes and shhs me, telling me that he loves me and he understands that I’m in pain. But here’s something I don’t know about – why the hell am I in pain?! I can feel it, but why the hell does my bottom hurt so much? Every time Appa puts me down, I feel sad again. I don’t want him to ever put me down again because his cuddles make me feel so happy – especially when I’m in so much pain! Appa had just finished changing my nappy – which hurt like hell! I screamed as loud as I could to let him know that it hurt as he wiped my bottom and placed on some cream. Maybe I screamed too loud? Because Appa got very flustered and looked like he was going to start crying himself. I didn’t mean to make him sad. It wasn’t intentional. Once he put on a new nappy, I could see that he was wiping his eyes as he held onto me closely. I snuggled into him closer as we walked from out of my bedroom into the living area, and Appa sat down at the dining table with me in his arms still. There was noises coming from the computer thing on the table, and Appa leant over to stop the noises. My face was still nuzzled into Appa’s neck when I heard his familiar voice. “Hello, Umma.” He said softly. Umma? Where was Umma? I turned around to see who Appa was talking to. Upon the computer screen, there was a lady waving. That wasn’t Umma. That was Helmoni. Where was my Umma? Appa always said that a baby like me has an Umma and an Appa. But I’ve never seen my Umma. The imposter on the screen began to speak, and Appa continued to call her Umma. She wasn’t Umma though! Eventually, Helmoni called out to me and waved, cooing my name. No, I wasn’t going to wave at her. Even with Appa prompting me and grabbing hold of my hand to get me to wave. There was no way I was going to wave at Helmoni after she claimed she was Umma. I could hear Appa sigh as I buried my head into his neck again. I was so tired… I just wanted to sleep. As my eyes closed softly, I listened to my Appa continue to speak to the lady on the screen. I’m not sure what he was talking about, to be honest. But I could hear the sadness in his voice. I could hear the crackle in the back of his throat and hear him sniffle back the tears as they began to fall down his face. “Umma…” I could hear him say. “I don’t know what to do… She just… She just keeps screaming whenever I put her down… her rash is getting worse and no matter what I do I just… I’m clueless. I brought her to the doctors yesterday and they told me it was just nappy rash and to put some cream but… It’s worse today than yesterday” “Jun-Seok-ah, it’s okay. Son, wipe your tears. It’s okay.” Helmoni said to Appa “I’ll send you some very special Korean medicine cream for her, okay? We used to use it on you when you were a child. You used to get rashes all the time and this was an absolute miracle. I’ll go to the shops and buy some now, and I’ll express ship it to you, okay? There’s no need to worry, Jun-Seok-ah. [/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] “Ava! This bitch has some juicy tea!” The girl could’ve woken up the whole country with her screaming as she entered through Ava’s apartment door. She didn’t even bother to knock because, well, it was Ava. She had been here plenty of times for her studying sessions and Ava was expecting her. Wasn’t like she was going to walk around with her tits hanging out, was she? So, Bec came charging in like a bull in a China shop. She kicked the door gently with her foot to close it – and yet it still made a bang from the breeze coming through the house. “Ooops, sorry!” she called out as the door loudly banged. She made her way through, two big McDonald bags in one hand and a tray with their drinks in the other. As she approached the girl, she paused in front of her with wide eyes and exhaled through her mouth in a flustered manner. “I have the worst hangover from hell right now.” She said to Ava, her eyes looking like they could almost pop out of her head. “I went to Irene’s place last night for just a drink or two. And I tell you what. That bitch can drink. I mean… I thought I was bad but crap… she takes it to a whole new level. She just kept on challenging me and oh my God, I ended up literally trying to do a scene from Coyote Ugly on the kitchen counter top. It was not a good look at all.” She paused for a moment, trying to remember what she was saying as she rushed in. Tea… She said something about tea…? Even before Ava could say anything, Bec in her true fashion began to ramble on again. Her eyes widened as the penny dropped and she remembered what she was going on about before. “Oh shit! That’s right! Do you have your phone?” she asked, all the sudden becoming very giddy. “We found his facebook page last night and oh shit, bitch, I have so many questions. Like. Oh my God, you have to see his profile picture. I’m pretty sure it’s So-Min’s Mum and it’s like – wow, how the hell did he get a normal chick? Or even, how the hell did she not see that he’s absolutely crazy and needs to jump ship as soon as possible, you know?” For someone who was hung over from hell, she sure was full of excitement and buzz this morning. She even continued to speak, not thinking for a moment to give Ava the chance to even breathe. “My phone is completely dead after last night. I only just got your order before it died on me. And your stupid boyfriend stole my charger from my car because he broke the iPad charger at work and we needed it to do the daily program.” She rolled her eyes out of annoyance before waving her hand with the bags of food “So, come on! [div class=tag]outfit.[/div] simple faded jeans with cute blouse and socks. [div class=tag]interaction.[/div] bec.[/div][/div] [div class=textbox][div class=insidetextbox]The moment Bec barged into Ava’s apartment, the brunette flinched and jumped in her chair at the sound of her door banging into the wall, which was incredibly loud considering she was sat on her balcony. The elder woman cringed to herself, praying that there was no dint in the wall from the door handle, but got up to greet her work friend. Ava had to remind herself constantly that Bec was only nineteen years old, and far more enthusiastic than she was. Not only that but wayyyy immature. ”Hey girl, hey.” Ava took her fair share of the food and set them on the living room table as she listened to Bec go on about the little drinking party she and Irene had. Ava had been invited too, but instead, she opted to go on a date with Ryan and watch a movie, which frankly she would have preferred to do. The more she worked fulltime, the more she cherished her weekends and drinking with no occasion seemed so pointless to Ava. But, she wasn’t judging. Bec had barely given Ava the chance to speak as she sat down, crossing one leg over the other and listened to what the blonde had to say. And it was a lot. She wasn’t entirely sure where Bec had all this energy from, considering she was supposed to be hungover. At nineteen, Ava could just about remember that she despised going anywhere or doing anything with a hangover. Staying in bed was the way to go. Not to mention, studying with a raging headache? Not happening. And it was to no shocker that she and Irene had spent their time bitching about Jun-Seok, again. Ava was barely surprised. He was clearly the talk of the month, and Ava hoped that eventually it would die down but that man just kept getting weirder day by day. She was praying that Bec would leave their work gossip for work, but nope. Here she was, begging her to stalk the man on Facebook. She inwardly groaned as the younger girl pleaded her. Saying no was incredibly tempting, but for the sake of actually getting some work done today, Ava nodded her head. ”Fine. You can look, but don’t you dare do anything weird or sketchy without telling me.” Ava got up to grab her phone from her bedroom and returned in no time. With each step that she took towards Bec, she began to regret even agreeing to stalk Jun-Seok. Though, deep down inside, she was a little curious. Ava wanted to see what So-Min’s mother looked like, and part of her was grateful that there even was a mother in the picture. ”I’m trusting you here, Bec.” Ava began, holding out her iPhone towards the blonde, though not handing it over just yet. ”I’m seeing this man on Monday – please don’t make it any more awkward than it is.” She murmured the ending, remembering just how clumsy her first interaction with Jun-Seok was. Gosh, the man absolutely hated her. She still felt like an idiot by the way he spoke to her as if she was seven years old.[/div][/div][/div][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] A wide grin fell on Bec’s face as caved in and agreed to the plan. Oh man, Ava was not going to be disappointed by this at all! “I promise! Nothing weird or sketchy at all!” she exclaimed, excitement in her voice. As she placed the bag of food and the drinks down on the table, she gave a squeal and had a little victory dance by herself. Okay, she had to prepare herself. She had found out so much juicy tea last night about Jun. How the hell was she going to tell Ava about it? I mean, there was only so much they could find last night because his Facebook page was set to like… an extreme private setting mode. But from what they did found… Oh man, the juice of it all. As Ava returned with her phone in her hand, Bec clapped her hands lightly with her face lighting up like the sun. She nodded viciously as Ava gave her the disclaimer, that she was trusting her and she didn’t want things to get awkward between them. Well, it was awkward already, wasn’t it? The guy was such a little asshat bitch that it was awkward no matter what you said or did around him. Bec gave her friend a wide, cheerful grin. “I promise you Ava. I will not make things awkward for you two at all.” With that, she took hold of her friend’s phone and sat down on the couch, taking hold of Ava’s arm and dragging her down with her. “Ok. So. We searched his name last night and we found it basically instantly,” she informed Ava, going into the Facebook App before typing in ‘Yeon Jun-Seok’ into the search bar. Instantly, like Bec had told her, his profile came up. Bec was quick to click on it and behold, there was Jun-Seok. The main profile picture was of an extremely happy looking Jun-Seok with his forehead pressed against an equally happy young female. His cover banner was of a onesie, ultrasound and a letter board which had the quote “the butterflies he gave me turned into two tiny feet. jan 2019”. “Right. Look at this my good friend.” Bec said, moving the phone in her hands so the pair of them could look at the Facebook profile together. “This must be So-Min’s mum. But also that means that she’s still in the picture cause, well, she’s in his picture, right? Who separates from someone and still has a picture of the pair of them together like that? But, anyways, we started to go through his pictures. Like, his tagged pictures too. And this is when things got a bit interesting. So!” She began to swipe through the various pictures which Jun-Seok was either tagged in or had uploaded himself. Either way, there was a lot of pictures of either him with this woman, or the woman by herself. There were even pictures of the said woman with a pregnant belly. Finally, Bec landed on a picture of what seemed to have been a wedding – with Jun-Seok as the groom and the female as the bride. “Okay! So this is where it gets super weird cause like… they’re obviously married. You go into his ‘about’ section and it says he’s married, but doesn’t say her name. But they have wedding pictures on here. And! The girl in the pictures who is pregnant is the girl in the wedding pictures. But! After his last profile picture – which is also his last tagged picture, which he uploaded seven months ago, there are no pictures. No pictures of So-Min. No pictures of his wife and So-Min. No pictures at all of anyone or anything! And like, everything is written in Korean. We tried to put some stuff through Google Translate and it just wasn’t working. It was so stupid.” Wow, the girl was surely on a ramble today, wasn’t she? And she just kept on going. “So, Irene and I have come up with a couple of possible explanations. My pick, however, is this. They were in love. Married. She got pregnant and had the baby. But then – she left! Poof! Everything was too hard for her. He was a massive dick and she needed some breathing space to get away from his dickiness. And now, he waits for her. He leaves her picture up, hoping she’ll come back to him. But he will forever… just… remain a dickhead bitch.” No wonder the children at work said Bec was the best at telling stories during mat sessions. She then turned to face Ava with an excited grin upon her face. “What do you think? Any theories? I think we should start taking bets at work” [/div] [div class=infobox][div class=row] MOOD [div class=info]drink that tea up, bitch![/div][/div] [div class=row] LOCATION [div class=info]ava's apartment[/div][/div] [div class=row] OUTFIT [div class=info]white singlet + denim shorts[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=footer][/div]

[div class=tag]outfit.[/div] simple faded jeans with cute blouse and socks. [div class=tag]interaction.[/div] bec.[/div][/div] [div class=textbox][div class=insidetextbox]Ava had to admit that Bec’s enthusiasm over their little stalking session on Jun-Seok had her a little worried. She had been so invested in it, more than what the two should really be doing and frankly, Ava was suuuuper concerned. Though that may have been her more responsible side talking, deep down inside, she was incredibly curious and interested to hear about what the blonde had discovered over the man. After all, what was more interesting than stalking investigating a foreigner with an adorable baby girl and what seemed to be no mother in the picture? Definitely not school work. Despite Bec had promised her countless times that there would be no funny business, Ava still clearly had her doubts. Except, before she could say anything, the phone in her hand was no longer there and she found herself being dragged besides Bec on the couch. Ava made herself comfy as she watched the younger woman easily find herself onto the Facebook app and onto Jun-Seok’s profile in less than a minute. To her surprise, there was a picture of Jun-Seok looking very deeply in love with a woman. Ava found it incredibly hard to believe that a man like that would even have a profile picture like that – she would have expected something… different. Ava hadn’t spoken a single word as Bec began to swipe through Jun-Seok’s pictures, several of them relating to the unknown woman and carrying So-Min in her tummy. The brunette clearly had a lot on her mind, hence why she hadn’t spoken yet. She had to admit to herself that the pair were a cute couple, and when the two girls came across a wedding photo – Ava thought of herself and Ryan and where they stood. They had been dating for over two years now and they had barely even touched the topic of getting more serious. Ava wanted to eventually settle, but anything related to marriage or moving in had been a “huge bomb dropped on him” as quoted by the man himself the first, and last time, she brought it up. It irked her greatly but the last thing she wanted to do was scare him away by the thought of forcing him into a marriage he didn’t even want. Now, she was second-guessing their whole relationship. Quickly, Ava shook the thoughts of her failing relationship and brought herself back to Jun-Seok and Bec. ”Maybe he’s just too busy to update or go on Facebook anymore…” Ava mumbled quietly, though noting all the potential theories on a list in her head. Maybe they were divorced because the relationship wasn’t quite working out? OR maybe, the wife was back in Korea for whatever reason and Jun-Seok was stuck here because… Lord, what was she doing? Bec had Ava so invested in figuring out where So-Min’s mother was that she herself was interested in figuring it out. ”Beccccccc,” Ava groaned inwardly, moving the phone away from her face and reaching forward to grab her McDonalds bag off the table. She opened it, pulled out her box of chicken nuggets and proceeded to munch on them. ”You’re way too,” she stopped, took a bite, chewed then swallowed, ”invested in this.” Despite how intriguing this all was, Ava wasn’t willing to place a bet on it. This was a man and baby’s life they were talking about. What if something serious had genuinely happened and they were laughing about it? What if So-Min’s mother was dangerously ill? That would definitely be a good enough reason for Jun-Seok’s ill-mannered behaviour. But even through all this, Ava had a feeling that the girls at work were still going to be guessing and placing bets. Especially with Irene and Bec deep into it. Those two were by far the worst gossipers at Paisley Park, simply because once they started, they just never stop and it sucked for Jun-Seok that he had become a victim of the two. ”Can we please please just start working on those questions?”[/div][/div][/div][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ bec greaves [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] As Ava told her that was too invested in this whole situation, Bec offered her friend and work colleague a small pout. “But Avvvaaaaa,” she whined with that pout still on her face “You have to admit – it’s interesting, isn’t it? I mean, after all… aren’t you a least a little bit interested? Like… what happened in life that made him into such a jackass bitch and where the hell is So-Min’s mum? Why isn’t she in the picture? I feel like as educators, we should know each family’s situations so we can provide the best care for children. If So-Min’s mum isn’t in the picture or they’ve had a nasty divorce, what do we do for Mother’s Day then with her? Or for when we do Christmas presents at the end of the year? When we write our reports, are we address it to both parents or just Jun-Seok? How about when we make our family trees or do family input? Do we ask for both parent’s pictures and input or just the bitch Dad?” No matter how much Bec was trying to justify it, she knew that deep down inside that Ava was right. They were here for one reason today – and that was to study. Well, I mean, also to hang out and be friends. But they weren’t here to try and investigate the lives of parents. Especially as it was the weekend. There was no point in trying to bring work in their weekend. That just screamed for disaster. And so, as Ava asked if they could just get along and study, Bec released a defeated sigh. “Finnneee…” she sighed, bringing her eyes back to the phone screen. Only for her blood to turn cold. The profile page… when Ava pushed the phone away from her… she must’ve hit the friend request button. Because before her, there was the friend button, in bright green and the word ‘requested’ underneath it. Shit, shit, shit, Bec screamed in her mind, her wide eyes gazing from the phone over to Ava, and back to the phone. It was okay. She could quickly remove the request, right? Jun-Seok wouldn’t have seen the request by the time she removed it. Things were going to be okay. Right? Right! As she went to press the button, a tiny bubble at the bottom of the screen popped up. No… Nooo… Bec quickly pressed the button and instantly, she felt like Death wasn’t on her side today and was trying to grab her back into the pits of hell. Jun-Seok… had accepted the friend request. So quickly too?! Wait – what did this mean about his relationship with his wife? It meant that he was still on Facebook but… just didn’t update his stuff? Wait… having Ava as a Facebook friend would be helpful. It would help her get some more answers. But… Ava would be mad at her right now, wouldn’t she? Okay. Operation: Keep them Facebook friends and sneak onto Ava’s phone when she’s not looking through out the weeks or months to find out more about this Jun-Seok bitch. I mean, he never updated his Facebook so she wouldn’t get him in the news feed, right? Right! Bec quickly swiped back to the news feed and locked the screen of the phone. “Ahhh, Ava. What would I do without your motivation?” she sighed, handing the phone back to her friend. All the while pretending that she wasn’t going to have a heart attack. If Ava found out about this little plan of hers well… she would kill her. [div class=tag]outfit.[/div] simple faded jeans with cute blouse and socks. [div class=tag]interaction.[/div] bec.[/div][/div] [div class=textbox][div class=insidetextbox]Ava had to admit that Bec had a valid point. She herself hadn’t even thought about what they would do when it came to Mother’s Day or anything relating to So-Min’s mother. Of course, it was their job as educators to provide sufficient care for So-Min but surely Jun-Seok himself would have mentioned that it was only him in the picture if he was worried about it? And he hadn't, so there was nothing that the two could, or should, do about it. Ava didn’t want to jump the bullet and assume anything, otherwise, she would find herself losing her job for skipping into conclusions. Especially when it came to Jun-Seok. She didn’t want to do anything or say anything to offend him of all people. She could just picture him doing anything to get her fired for saying the littlest thing to insult him. Gosh, what a way to spend the weekend. Though relief, and a little bit of shock (it’s Bec we’re talking about here), washed over the woman once Bec finally agreed that the two should stop what they were doing. She hadn’t expected Bec to actually listen to her, but nonetheless, she didn’t want to question it. And by then, Ava had managed to stressfully eat every single one of her chicken nuggets down. Despite them tasting so good, she definitely could have enjoyed them more if Bec hadn’t been going on about Jun-Seok nor if she was thinking about the man for the past hour. He just irked her so much, especially after he made her look like a fool and bossed her around in her own workplace as though she hadn’t a clue what she was doing. Luckily, nobody saw. Karma kicked him back in the butt gracefully when So-Min refused to leave Ava’s arms and began to scream her lungs off when Jun-Seok took her. Ah, the satisfaction. ”Right, we should seriously get down to work.” Ava finally spoke, taking the initiative after she spotted that the two had wasted delicate time worry about nothing – by that, she was referring to Jun-Seok. Finally, she put everything down, including her stupid distraction of a phone, to open up her study folder and grab her notebook and pen. ”Too much time chit-chatting, and not enough work, young lady.”[/div][/div][/div][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] The weekend was finally over and it was time to get back into the work routine. Jun-Seok found himself lying in bed, staring up at the ceiling, feeling himself go in and out of a daze. So-Min had been up and down at all different hours of the night, crying because of her nappy rash. He was still waiting on his Umma’s parcel to arrive, so for now he was just using Australian brand cream. It seemed to keep the rash at bay for a couple of hours. But everytime she made a bowel movement, it seemed to make it aggressive again. He had probably had four hours of sleep last night and was wondering if he should just call in sick to work. However, he had to remind himself that if he did, and he stayed home with So-Min, he’d still have to pay for the day care fee for the day… and he wouldn’t get any money for taking a sick day as he didn’t have any sick leave as of yet. Releasing a soft sigh, Jun turned his head to look at his daughter who slept so perfectly, co-sleeping next to him, surrounded by a couple of pillows. He watched as her chest raised and fell again and her cheeks puffed up as she slept so perfectly. Oddly enough, she was usually up around this time. I suppose it was going to be out of whack considering she had been up and down during the night. And then an idea hit him. I wonder if I could… maybe… have a wank? He thought to himself, raising a brow and poking his lower lip slightly. Hey, it had been well over six months. He needed some sort of release, didn’t he? And having a kid while you’re a single parent isn’t the most helpful or most ideal situation. So-Min was so fast asleep that maybe – just maybe – his plan would work out. He could go to the toilet, get rid of six months worth of blue balls, and start getting his day ready? Jun had just confirmed it with his mind as he slowly began to rise from the bed. However, his plan would see the light of day. Because as soon as he moved, he heard the familiar cry of So-Min next to him. He wanted to roll his eyes so far back he could see his spine. Of course, he loved his daughter. With all of his heart. But after hardly any sleep and almost having probably the best morning he was planning on having in six months being completely squashed in front of him… well… You’d be annoyed too, right? And so, their routine continued on. Crying, nappy change and cream, breakfast together, more crying, another nappy change and cream, So-Min getting dressed and finally, Jun getting dressed. Once he placed the nappy cream into So-Min’s daycare bag, they were in the car and on their way to the day care centre. 7:45am – the same time every day. It gave Jun 45 minutes to drop So-Min off and head to his office which was only ten minutes away. But… Knowing So-Min… It was going to take that twenty-five minutes or so to get her to go to an educator. Walking through the main entrance, being greeted by another educator, Jun simply nodded in the female’s direction before his eyes landed on the iPads at the front table. He had been told when So-Min first started how to sign in by Maureen from the Admin team but… even she was struggling with it. She eventually gave up and told him that she’d just sign So-Min in and out for the day. Since then, he was still waiting on someone to show him how to actually use the damn machines to sign his daughter in and out. Entering the Nursery room, Jun noticed a dark haired girl sitting with two other babies who chimed a “good morning” to him. Like the girl in the main entrance, he simply nodded towards her as if to say good morning to her also. And right on cue – So-Min began to scream. The tears were flowing down her cheeks as it finally clicked where she was. “Shhh, So-Min-ah,” Jun spoke softly to his daughter in Korean as he slid off So-Min’s backpack and placed it with the others “You didn’t want to leave last week” “Oh, deary me,” the educator said in a soft voice, rising from her spot on the floor and making her way over to Jun and So-Min. “Are we not happy today?” “We’re never happy, apparently” Jun sighed softly, placing his hand on the back of So-Min’s head as she continued to scream, pressing her face into his neck. Thank God he had a spare shirt at work. “It might be me. I’m usually in the Toddler room, so she’s probably not used to me. I’m Andrea by the way uh… I’m just covering Ava for a few moments but she should be back soon” the educator said with a wide grin. “Did you want me to take her for you?Give her to someone she doesn’t even know while she’s screaming her lungs out? No, thank you. Do they teach these babysitters anything about emotional development? Jun shook his head “It’s okay. I’ll wait for Ava” he said simply, causing Andrea to give him an ‘oh, ok’ before moving back towards the other babies. He didn’t care if he seemed like a massive dick. He just wanted what was best for his daughter. Apparently, it was way too early in the morning to be talking about commitment, but after two years of being together and spending almost every night at each other’s, Ava had to ask. Sure, Ryan liked to take things slow, but seriously, there was only so much time she had. According to her anyway. “Did you fall asleep?” A small tired groan came from his body and the room filled with silence once again. Gosh, just last night he was being very needy and touchy with her and now he could barely even look at Ava, let alone wish her a good morning like the lovely boyfriend he was. The brunette couldn’t help roll her eyes at him until he finally decided to speak. “It’s way too early, go to work already and I’ll see you later Ava.” What did she expect, honestly? Ava threw the duvet off her body and forced herself to get up out of bed to get ready for work. With that, she angrily brushed her teeth, accidentally ‘forgot’ to wash her dishes when she had breakfast and left her cranky boyfriend a little surprise in his toilet before she wore one of the three spare outfits she kept at his. If it wasn’t obvious, she was very annoyed at him. She couldn’t wait to see him when he started his afternoon shift. Note the sarcasm. Walking into Paisley Park definitely took her mind off things with Ryan as she greeted and said her hellos to her co-workers. Of course, that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to rant off about him to Bec when she saw the teenager and had the time. But putting that aside, Ava signed herself in and began her first shift of the week. ”Stupid man.” Ava mumbled quietly under her breath just as her knife sliced its way through the apple, chopping it into half. Except to Ava, it wasn’t just an apple that she was cutting; it was her boyfriend’s head. And with that, she proceeded to dice the juicy fruit into small squares, the satisfying thought of doing the same thing to Ryan’s annoying face running through her head, and for just a moment, the woman looked… psychotic. ”Woah girl,” the sound of Irene’s voice caught Ava off guard, and luckily she had just about finished chopping the fruit when she did. ”What did that poor apple do to you?” she teased as she stared at the piece of work on Ava’s chopping board. Bringing her brown eyes to stare down, Ava let out a small groan when she realised that she had been too busy thinking of Ryan that her focus on the apple was completely off. It was just mushed up fruit, sliced into odd sizes. ”Ugh…” Setting the knife down, Ava took a step back from the counter where she had murdered the poor apple and peeled the hairnet from her head. ”Can you take over making breakfast?” she asked, shooting the blonde a pleading look and thankfully, a nod from Irene was all it took before Ava left the kitchen to return back to the baby room. The sound of familiar crying hit her instantly as she entered the room, her eyes landing on a sobbing So-Min being cradled in Jun-Seok’s arms. Confused, she glanced over at Andrea who simply sent her a small shrug, confusion also written on her face. Ava let out a small sigh as she strolled her way towards the father. Here we go. Another man to ruin the day. ”So-Min-ah,” she cooed, her baby voice coming out naturally as it did when she spoke to babies and young children, wanting to help calm her crying down. But the moment Ava’s voice reached her little ears, So-Min instantly glanced up from her father’s shoulder with huge teary eyes, too much snot rolling down her nostrils and chubby arms waving and begging for her to be held by Ava. And somehow all the bad emotions Ava was feeling disappeared into thin air because this little human wanted her. Oh God, baby fever here we come. Without a second thought, the brunette happily reached out to take the precious baby into her arms, completely disregarding Jun-Seok as she did, a wide smile on her face. ”Awhhhhh, you just want some Ava loving, do you? Is daddy being a poopoo this morning?”[/div][/div][/div][/div]

[/div][div class=title]˗ˏˋ yeon jun-seok [/div][/div][div class=bg] [div class=textbox] It was painful having So-Min screaming into his ears as he tried his best to comfort her. He could feel his shirt becoming damp from the combination of tears and snot from his dear daughter. Jun continued to pat and “shh” her in an attempt to soothe her crying antics. Alas, it seemed as if nothing was working. It was like So-Min knew that he was going to leave her here. Dammit, this child was smart. Jun had half a thought to just take the child home with him and call into work sick once again. He didn’t even care if he had to pay for the child care bills – he just wanted So-Min to be happy and to hopefully catch some sleep. “So-Min-ah” Jun froze for a moment. The voice had caught him completely off guard. Not to mention the way the person pronounced So-Min’s name; like a Korean would. Did they have a Korean caregiver here? Why didn’t anyone tell him before? They could’ve kept her in the room with So-Min and speak to her in Korean and calm her down! This was ridiculous! Another thing he would have to bring up in the next email he had been forming in his mind in regards to the practice of this centre. A frown formed on Jun’s face as he curiously turned around to find… okay, it wasn’t a Korean woman at all. In fact, it was a very white Australian before him. Ava. Before he even had the chance to open his mouth to speak to the educator before him, So-Min was on the move. She literally lunged out of Jun’s arms, throwing herself at the female before them. The frown on Jun’s face continued to grow as he watched his daughter literally throw him away like trash for this… this girl. And once again, he left there with a strange array of emotions running through his body like last week. What made Ava so special that So-Min didn’t want anything to do with him anymore? Jealousy was a horrible green monster and it was consuming Jun’s thoughts. And when Ava made her comment about daddy being a poopoo, that frown continued to deepen. Was this how they spoke about parents? Was this the way educators were trained in customer service? Well, that was just another thing to add to the list. Jun was so tempted to just take So-Min out of Ava’s grasps and walk straight out of there. But the way that his daughter was snuggling into the other educator with that grin on her face… he had never seen it with anyone else apart from himself. So, he decided to bite his tongue and hold on to his words. Just you wait until I get to my work computer though, he darkly thought to himself I’m going to send the email from hell. Seeing a nose bubble forming on So-Min’s face once more, Jun promptly walked over to the shelf and took a couple of tissues into his grasps. He then returned before Ava and So-Min and brought the tissue to his daughter’s face to wipe the tears and boogies. While wiping her face, he began to speak in Korean to her once more. “Appa is going to work, So-Min-ah,” he informed the child, his eyes darting over his daughter’s face to ensure he wiped all the boogers off. “Be as naughty as you want for this teacher. I don’t care if they tell you off. You keep on biting and throwing things to make their life hell, okay? You don’t say crude things about the Yeon family and get away with it, okay?” His words were light and bubbly, a wide grin forming on his face to mask his hidden messages. Scrunching up the tissue into a ball in his hands, Jun stood to his full height and looked at Ava. Ugh. There was just… something about Ava that made him… he wasn’t sure. Maybe it was because she added him on Facebook and he had been curious to see her profile so accepted it; which, probably was a stupid thing to do anyway. But yes, he accepted it. And when he looked at her profile, all he really saw were pictures of her and her boyfriend out together. Probably drinking and partying. You know, completely unprofessional stuff. Either way, as he looked at Ava, his grin dropped. “She’s had some bad nappy rash over the weekend,” he informed her “There’s cream in the front pocket of her bag for her nappy changes. Make sure she has it with nappy change and that she’s using her nappies. She came home last week wearing a spare nappy which made her rash begin. If she runs out of any nappies at all – which I highly doubt it – just ring my mobile and I’ll pick some up and bring it over.” Wow, he was just a ray of sunshine, wasn’t he?
