I'd like to rant about how most roleplays drop before they even begin. It takes a little planning to start a roleplay. Unless you want to just send me a starter, but it takes at least a little organization between both people.
I have received messages, or we'll agree to start a roleplay, but then it does before we even begin.
Also, being new to a site doesn't mean you are new to roleplaying.
A roleplay pet peeve of mine is when guys immediately bring up sex. I am here to escape the pressures of this world, not be brought back in them again.
Thank you. I don't want role-players to think I won't respect their limits. I can do a story where characters are over 18, just sometimes I miss role-playing a variety.
Even so, you're not supposed to do NSFW content here. I say PG-13 so people don't try to sneak content in. Plus, most of the sites I am on are PG-13.

Sometimes I like to have the freedom to RP actual families and characters with a variety of ages. JK Rowling was 30 when she wrote Harry Potter. In...
Well, that actor did not really give permission to do that smut scene in that story. They gave permission for that movie or show that they did, but not fan fiction. It's also weird if the OC is considered a self-insertion and not a genuine OC. If it's to imagine the role-player with the actor...
What bothers me is roleplay seems to be so driven by smut now, in spite of the rules on the site. I want to follow and respect the rules. You never know when someone could lie about their age.
