A final boss should be good. They generally shouldn't be pushovers, but everything should be done with a reason, including difficulty. One of the best final bosses ever is Gwyn from Dark Souls as mentioned by OP, and he's a pushover, especially when compared to the midgame boss of Ornstein and...

Because most people play for singleplayer, and most of two's bosses and levels were mediocre. Also because hating 2 is just as much of a meme as hyping the difficulty.

Dark Souls 2 has the best combat in the series and I will not budge on that statement until I DIE.

Good luck. If this is any indication, you're in for a fucking ride. I did a DS1 SL1 play through back in the day, and BL4 looks significantly more nightmarish. You aren't missing out on munch with DS3 PvP.

The fact that Death Stranding is an exclusive makes me want to scream. So does the fact that no TV means no P5, but at least I don't need a whole new console for that one.

Sadly I haven't been able to play Drakengard 3, but it's final boss theme is mad rad. As is it's softer sounding little sister.
