Pretty much same as rolling attacks to hit. You roll a d20 and then add your strength modifier.

Slight correction here. It's not one maxed and one normal roll. You're simply doubling damage dice. So, in this case, we're rolling a 1d6 normally for the attack. Since its a nat 20, it's a 2d6 roll. You roll a d6 two times, add that up, and then add your damage mods if you have any. Also, damn...
