There is hate for coleslaw?
I have seen firsthand some dislike in the flavor of "it's not for me; what else do you have?" If it is made with fresh ingredients then coleslaw can be pretty good - though I admit that's a rare occurrence in my world. =)
A friend of mine tried a drink she had never tried before. When she found it wasn't to her taste, she didn't pretend to enjoy it - she was true to herself. I think that's really the best way to be. "It's good; I just don't like it."
"To thine own self be true." - William Shakespeare.

Here is my possibly unpopular opinion! Oh boy! Incoming! =)
No one likes to be judged, right?
Well, I really wish more people would take that notion one step further and try to understand the other side. Even if I don't agree with you, at least you and I will understand one another firmly...
"With COVID"?!
To anyone out there with any kind of harmful contagious condition, if you are sick, please. Stay home. Heal. Come back when you're healthy.
@The Dark Wizard DWiz, like Daisie, if I read her right, I sometimes want root beer and sometimes I don't want it. I must admit to liking root beer when it is freshly made if you can find it that way.
I'm not talking about A & W or Barq's; I'm talking about specially restaurants or bars who...
@Saturninum There are a variety of good coffee flavors that have fruity or smooth (non-bitter) tastes if it's bitterness you're trying to avoid?
Oh no! I'm glad it was worth it but... I feel for ya! I hope the apple crisp leaves you without the queasiness?
In your signature - that looks like...
Hey, I say that doesn't matter - you be you! @berrybeans Or if you'd rather a quote from Bruce Lee, "I am not in this world to live up to your expectations and you are not in this world to live up to mine." =)
Boy, you already took to heart about you being you, didn't you? Hooray!
Oooh...
@Pokeking That's because Jean-Luc Picard is one of the coolest characters ever made played by one of the best actors who ever walk the stage! I applaud your taste!
@Pumpkin Pie While I have long known the soothing taste of chamomile tea, I must admit to never having heard of "honey chai"...
Happy National Coffee Day, everybody (no matter what your favorite drink(s) is)! =)
From NPR, here's: "It's National Coffee Day. Here's How To Level Up Your Coffee Game" =)
@GarnaalProductions As someone with ADHD, I've been told not to take in flavored coffees - just to stick "in moderation"...
Well, if there's one thing I've learned about NYC and the five boroughs - if you can survive there, you can survive just about anywhere! Massive blackouts, Superstorm Sandy, the atmosphere in general - there's no place like New York! =)
Oooh! Pina Colada-flavored Fanta? I didn't know that existed. I'd try that!
Re: Japanese sodas. It makes me wonder how the Japanese open them.
Yes! "Soda" and "soda pop" are about as "Nehw Yawhk" as it gets. And why not? There's no place the The Big Apple! =)
@Prince Lutin What kind? Caffeinated or non? Are there sodas from different countries you've tried (say, German, Japanese, or others? Water makes a difference, I've learned!). =)
@The Great Sage Ha ha! You are right. Perhaps I am selling myself short in that regard. Thanks, Great Sage. I think I needed to be reminded of that. I like the way you think and how you use your words.
If I could, frankly... I'd buy you a cup of coffee. Probably McDonald's. *toast*...
While I'd love to be the "cool kid" here and agree, if I am to be honest, I must say that I really, really don't. At least, not anymore. My moderate-severe ADHD has taught me a lot about how my brain and body works. I've learned that I tend to suffer if I haven't fueled myself (sometimes that...
