Hiya! Seems like a lot has changed while I was gone. I don't recognize anything. Or many people, for that matter.

Interesting. Seems like that "creating forum RP" thing got nuked at some point in September, that's unfortunate. All this fancy new stuff with tabs is just confusing.

Yeah, from what I remember the guy who wrote that was doing unsavory things with it, so they had to take out that function. You get used to the tabs after a bit, though.

Is it accurate to say that RPs are all held in the same topic now? Not sure if I understand the tabs system properly but it seems like you get 1 IC thread, 1 OOC, and a character topic/tab. As compared to, say, doing different threads for each scene?

I am not 100% sure on the specifics, but I do know that you can add more tabs if you want. Doing different threads for each scene might get unwieldy, but I'm not sure how that would work.

Pretty good, got a promotion, an apartment and am currently trying to teach myself how to program in Ruby. I'd say I'm moving up in the world, but it's more like I'm moving diagonal, ya know? How are things for you?

Life goes on. Sleep schedule is fucked though. Trying to get back into RP with limited success. Waiting for fuckin' EX3 to come out, feels like it's been centuries.

If you're interested in DnD, I have an interest in running a game myself. I tired to earlier, but it fell though.

From what I hear of EX3, the whole book is in editing, so maybe it'll come out soon...ish?

Sorry, gonna have to pass on the D&D thing, HATE that system with a passion. I'll probably just give Exalted another shot. Maybe resurrect Sakuya from the infinite void of the archives.

EX3 looks great from what I've seen. The Sidereal-ish exalted (Getinimals? Liminals? I can never remember) look AMAZING, definitely playing one ASAP... though it'll probably be like 1200 years before their book comes out.

Getimianal are the Sidereal-ish ones, yeah. They seem really neat, but I'll probably stick to my favorites of Solar/Sidereal/Infernal. I really hope the book comes out soon, it's been too long. At least the Exigents will hold us over until the actual splatbooks come out.

I never actually have gotten to RP an Infernal. Have a few written up, but the one I did try to reg got denied by the ST, and I've never had a chance to use him elsewhere yet. They do seem really cool though, I like the vibes a lot more than Abyssals. Being defined by failure is a REALLY interesting angle for Exalts.
