The sheer adorableness got me to watch the anime, which then got me into the game, which surprisingly had a much deeper story than I thought, but the characters are still as great and cute as I expected XD I'm hooked, though fortunately not enough to fall into the gacha trap yet.

Oh noes! Not the gacha black hole! But I actually fell into Azur Lane in the opposite direction - I saw the adorable characters while looking for fcs and played the game out of pure curiousity before watching the anime. I think people underestimate the power of cute. x3
