I used to laugh at this GIF all the time. I used to think “haha what an idiot, this would NEVER happen to me.” That was before it happened to me…

True story funny enough, I was pissed off with myself after a crappy practice a couple of weeks ago and I wasn’t thinking. As I was skating off, a little mad with myself, I wasn’t necessarily thinking and I was holding my stick stupidly and it prevented me from getting off the rink. Stick blocked me since I held it horizontally the length of the door and boom, down I went. Hurt real bad too.

A bad way to end a bad practice where I was already mad at myself. I felt so stupid, but now, I can’t ever make fun of that GIF again as this unironically happened to me.
