    I used to laugh at this GIF all the time. I used to think “haha what an idiot, this would NEVER happen to me.” That was before it happened to me…

    True story funny enough, I was pissed off with myself after a crappy practice a couple of weeks ago and I wasn’t thinking. As I was skating off, a little mad with myself, I wasn’t necessarily thinking and I was holding my stick stupidly and it prevented me from getting off the rink. Stick blocked me since I held it horizontally the length of the door and boom, down I went. Hurt real bad too.

    A bad way to end a bad practice where I was already mad at myself. I felt so stupid, but now, I can’t ever make fun of that GIF again as this unironically happened to me. 😭

    Yea lol. Funny too cuz usually when the hockey team practices (which is a really late hour) there’s like no one there at the rink watching. That one guy happened to be there to see it all. 😂 Maybe he was just a fan because he went to the college I play for or maybe he had some previous or present connections to the team? Regardless- there was still a dude there who saw it all. Probably has no faith in the number 91 on the team if he’s a fan of our team lol. 😭 Not repping myself well cuz I bet he saw me doing badly the whole practice.

    And yea, I CANNOT perform when being watched, I hate it. I mean I can tune out the crowd when we go to games but like even my teammates on the bench and coach, knowing they’re watching makes me choke so hard under the pressure lol.

    Also marching band is lit- separate topic I know, but I used to do marching band in high school. Loved every year of it. I used to play this bad ass drum line instrument called the quads or tenor drums. (Coolest instrument in the marching band btw ;) )

    Thank you you’re totally right. It’s definitely the stress and depression talking. I have to take a step back and make sure I don’t make any stupid decisions in stress.

    You’re welcome. Life gets overwhelming sometimes. I’ve had breakdowns IRL in public a handful of times and strangers came to help me out. You don’t have to know someone to help them. Those people probably forgot about me a long time ago but I haven’t forgotten them. Lol
