Not posting a comment on the post itself to avoid confusion, but I do want to say regarding your Alderheim idea, I love the inadvertent implication (because many IP holders wouldn’t let let go of them or share them dead), of the kinds of things that would have to be achieved just for that particular ludicrous step. Plotting, scheming, blackmail, bribery, murder, just to touch on the tip of the iceberg. It’s funny, from a meta point of view since I’m sure that wasn’t intentionally implied.
