I don't have any particular favorites. I use The Sims Resource to get a lot of my CC, but other than that, I just use CC finder blogs on Tumblr! And are you asking if I make mods or if I play with mods? Because I use 30GB of CC and mods in my game. 
And I don't make any mods, though I have dabbled in making poses and I have to make my own custom ones for family portraits because my sim has 5 children and will be having two more in the future.
