    The problem with practice versions of things is that you feel so accomplished doing them and then you remember that that wasn't the actual thing and you have more to do.

    Well, with one exception.
    All those "remember, you're great" posts and all their variations are nothing more than empty platitudes.
    Alternate universe where everything is the same except that the phrase Netflix and Chill is instead Hulu and Chill.
    So what was the point of Leia being Luke's sister. Like, it never seems to pan out in the original trilogy. It's just a thing that exists to kill the love triangle between Leia, Luke, and Han.
    I mean no offense but I love reading the plights of 1x1 rpers because they amuse me.

    I am amused by all roleplaying plights
    I've found a couple of really good partners and am content with my ongoing RPs :3
    So it turns out the only thing worse than actually doing parkour is watching people do parkour.
    Someone: I want to do this roleplay.
    Me: Hey, that seems cool.
    Someone: But it has to be a 1x1.
    Me: I officially hate you.
    Fighter: I can kill a guy in one turn.
    Rogue: I can kill a guy in half a turn.
    Wizard: I can kill a guy before my turn.
    Cleric: I can get three idiots to kill guys for me.

    Of course, I also have to listen to their whining while I heal them but I can live with that.
    GM: [out of nowhere] Roll perception.
    Literally every player: Oh crap what's coming.
    I know that kid's shows have to teach a moral about the power of love and friendship and stuff but is it asking too much to have a villain who isn't redeemed and the only option is to kill him. Teen Titans killed Slade (he, well, he didn't got better but he did come back). Sorry, I mean, they "destroyed" Slade.
