Some food for thought: If public schools create formulaic human beings that can be easily prodded and steered like cattle, why do we revere such institutions and not promote more independent thinkers and learning?

Prof: Without writing an addendum to the syllabus, casually posts an announcement about an upcoming test without details of the topics and changes the curriculum yesterday at 11pm
Me: So that's why everyone's freaking out and I woke up to 400+ notifications on the group chat
Me to the Prof.: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, SATAN??! HOW CAN WE PLEASE THE STUDY GODS??!
