I am really sorry for your loss. Losing a pet you cherish is rough.

It was time. Her body was failing her even worse then we knew. When you love something enough you have to let it go.

Yeah. Still, rather sad though. My own doggo not a year ago developed a cancer in the lungs. She could hardly stand, she had no energy. We had to put her down.
It’s not the kind of thing one fully moves on from... But I guess it’s something we can grow stronger from as well, and cherish the time we did have
