    Agreed. RP isn't supposed to be a chore, but it isn't an effortless hobby either (especially when all them advanced lit folks come out from the shadows)

    Besides, a subpar reply can always be remedied or excused. No reply at all is much harder to work around

    You have to remember we aren't novelists, we don't get to draft up until it's right. They can 'force' it for weeks straight and get to 'fix' it later.

    Life takes presidence over roleplaying, as well. Sometimes people literally can't post. Other times, the quality of what's going on shuts people down entirely. And that about swings us right back to where we started. ;)

    And for the record, I'm not talking about literary skill. Literary prowess and creative prowess are not mutually exclusive...not even close.

    You can be a genius writer and a horrific story teller. Or a borderline illiterate person, and a prolific story teller.

    Vocabulary is about 10% of the battle. ^_^

    Take a lil' stretch break, drink some water or cold juice, wash your face, or take a quick shower. Change your clothes. Do something for 10 minutes that isn't work! Then get back to it!~

    But not everything is easy for everyone and they should be allowed to take a small break...

    If someone's staying up all night to do something, a 10 minute break will save them more time later on.
