Do you wanna talk about it? I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner ):

I did, briefly, somewhere on the forums. But usually talking about stuff makes it worse. It's more akin to reliving the problem rather than venting for me. Shrug.
I'm just trying taking my mind off things.

well how can i help distract you?

Dunno. Funny videos? Wonky news?

i don't have videos on me at the moment and news isnt something i pay too much attention to, but i like music! what do you like to do?

My job (art direction, level design), making art... I like to create things overall, be it sketches or birdhouses, or new piping. Looking at old architecture. Tea, like any other European.

Oooooh I like art! I'm not that great but I definitely work on it. My favorite thing to do is paint tbh. I like to sing, and I sing a wide range of songs, but I don't really like...create my own things. I'm gonna go to school for medicine though!

Medicine is cool. I think were I to relive my younger years, I'd go for anaesthesiology myself. If I survive long enough, might do that anyway. Third time a charm, right?
And art is just... lots and lots of practice. Many people say "I have no talent for this and that", and it irritates me a little, because talent... talent is just a desire practiced and developed enough.

Right! I'm not saying I don't have the talent for that, I'm just saying that my skills are mediocre at best, ya know? Definitely room for improvement. But if you think about it, you can't really be an expert at art. There's always room for improvement.

I want to be an emergency room doctor. Shit's expensive though.

Do you like musicals?

I know what you're saying. Just thought about people who say they lack talent as I wrote about practicing.
What creating a comic taught me was... if you look back at old art, and try to redo it, you will be stuck in an eternal loop of redrawing the same five pages over and over again, as every time you'll finish that last fifth page, you''ll get so much experience that your first would look like shit to you. You'll start over, and get better again, and you'll get stuck in a loop. You can get an expert in technique, but art is too vague and broad of a term.

ER is very stressful, or so they say. I'd be afraid of that. That and human interaction. Some people say I'd make an excellent coroner, which is only half-true. I'd be disgusted by the smell.

And... hm. If I tell you the truth about musicals, I will never prove I'm not gay.

That's so true! I agree with you on that one.

I've heard horror stories about working in the ER, and honestly the only thing I'd be queasy about is burns.... Burns really freak me out. And you can never get rid of the smell.

Pls tell me how you feel about musicals. If you like them I have a handful of suggestions.

I've burned myself a lot as a kid. Always had ridiculously high tolerance to pain, and liked campfires... and it never went well together. So I think I'm used to burns. That said, i think I'm not very good at tolerating the mix of bile with blood, is all.

Ah. Well. I do love musicals for the most part. But I have such a list of things to watch and listen to, I cannot even keep up...

Burns on myself don't bother me. Once you've got a 3rd degree or worse.... That's when I struggle. Blood and bile don't bother me so much because I was sick a lot as a kid and wound up cleaning up myself, my siblings, or my friends if they puked. I dunno, I was a weird kid.

I love musicals. Listening to the soundtracks isn't as good as going to see one, so when one of the clubs I'm in asked if I wanted to go see Come From Away, I really thought I'd hate it because it sounded really stupid, but it's one of my absolute favorites now. Have you seen it?

Never got worse than a third degree burn, I'll give you that. I mean, naturally I didn't, else I don't think I'd be that... active... online and offline. Idk what's with me and bilexblood mix. It started fairly recently, maybe two years ago or so? Lost my tolerance to it. Even some meat shops can make me sick, which is unfortunate.

You know, I never even managed to see Cats.
