fallout 4 was a complete shitshow imo. obsidian have completely humiliated bethesda at this point. I dont konw why but everything new in terms of sequels to games, shows and etc. is complete dogshit. Maybe im just stricter in terms of what i like but it really seems like shit gets worse over time. I'll be following bl3 around as well since i love the series but I am mentally ready in case its trash

Fallout 4 wasn’t bad but if you compare it to any other Bethesda game you can count the rings like a tree with all the reused shit and lazy design.
It’s when people compared 4 to Vegas that made 4 seem so shit. Bethesda has lots of time and churned out shit.
Obsidian is or was making outer worlds all this time just to flex on Bethesda and I think it will show in sales numbers and reviews. Hopefully Bethesda swallows their shallow pride and lets obsidian play with the creation engine to make new Vegas 2 or fallout 5

Outer worlds looks sooo fucking good and it is like one of the few games that makes me have hope in the gaming industry.
Unfortunately, I don't think bethesda is going to swallow their pride at all. Those fuckers rebranded fallout 4 as "Game of the year" remember? GAME OF WHAT FUCKING YEAR?

Outer worlds does look good but I’m more excited for Borderlands 3.
I know Bethesda is Shitty and have been for awhile but if they were smart they would just hire obsidian or another party to make Fallout what it should be with the newest version of their engine, could even add all that minecraft shit as the idea wasn’t terrible. It just wasn’t worth making a quarter of the game revolve around it.
But outer worlds looks like my jam. I’ll play a melee sniper first, then play a dumbass to see more dialogue

God vegas was soo fucking goood. Its really a shame they werent given enough time to fully develop it but even a half assed project my them shits on everyting bethesda makes. So many incredibly written characters. The fucking ghoul that gives you tips in the New Vegas city is written better than "Father" in fallout 4.

Vegas was filled with charm drama and humour. Believable evils and the drug ducked psychos in between. With a decent story to tell no matter which way you lean and actual choices that make a difference...
