    PSA: Please consider buying your animals from kill shelters. Not only are you possibly saving an animal's life, nobody wants to see those animals die. Kill shelters are not evil, they are simply forced to take in all animals they receive, many of which they simply can't take care of. These people do not enjoy killing these animals.

    By adopting from a kill shelter, you're allowing the shelter more room to take in more animals that need good care, instead of the shelter being forced to kill animals because they don't have the room or money required to house them. You can help, too.

    Jon was super nice... ^^ He gave my mom and I a hug. We told him my story and how much of an impact their music had on me. I swear he was gonna just start crying... Really the sweetest guy. He gave us both a hug.

    Yeah. It's strange, because after having gone through cancer (something very traumatic), I feel like I've handled it like a dream. I've just had a bit of an adjustment period after I've gotten home, which everyone expected. My mom and I both agree that a therapist doesn't seem necessary.

    I feel like I should be more... traumatized? Lol.

    The Otherkin community concerns me. And not because they're "weird" for doing what they do, I think it's dangerous. Genuinely believing that you are an animal instead of human (to me, at least), sounds like someone who can't stand who they are in real life, so they resort to attempting to be an animal. And the thing about the community is that it encourages this behaviour.

    You know what else releases dopamine? Food, romance, rollercoasters, exercising, music, and many more things. Wanna restrict all of that, too? Dopamine is literally just a response to something our bodies see as nice. Get over yourself.

    I'll be the first to admit that I love chickens. Especially roosters. I'd love to express my love for them, but everyone seems to think that wearing a shirt that says "I ❤🐓" is a bad idea.

    Went to the eye doctor today, and while we were there we talked a lot about chemo and treatment... Such a kind man, he gave me a free pair of sunglasses.

    I got home and noticed odd things, like screens going black when I tilted my head. I googled it and they're POLARIZED sunglasses :O So cool.

    Polarized sunglasses are cool if youvget near a lake or river, they take quite a bit of the glare off and you can actually see fish and awesome stuff on the bottom if the water is clear enough.
